Sonic quickly runs and destroys Badniks he can find, "I've got to hurry." He notices a cage being transported and quickly intercepts it. He opens it, revealing more slave Mobians, "Quick, get out of here." They nodded and ran away.
He Spins Dash through the Badniks while saving the Mobians, 'Hopefully, I can find Eggman here.' He ground pound the Badniks and kicks them on the head. Suddenly, he felt strange energy around him, 'W-What's this?' He quickly moves at light speed. And destroying the robot in a matter of seconds.
"Could it be-?" He saw the five Chaos Emeralds are glowing, "All right, let's keep up." He stood up and Homing Attack the Badniks in the air.
Sonic runs on the path at the top of Metropolis when suddenly Eggman appears, "Hoho, how delightful, Sonic." Sonic smirked, "Eggman." "Hand over those Chaos Emeralds to me. After all, I saved you at the Skyline four years ago."
Sonic shook his head, "No. You might be the same person who saved me four years ago, but your heart is in the wrong place. So, stop this." "Well then, if you want to stop me, we will do this the hard way!"
Eggman sent a giant robot with a spike ball hammer, "Time to crush you!" He begins attacking Sonic with the hammer, but Sonic dodges it, and Homing Attacks the body.
He jumps from the slam and Spin Dash at the legs. "Grrrrr, activate it!" Suddenly the robot begins powered up and creating a barrier, making it hard for Sonic to hit, 'Could it be a Chaos Emerald did this?'
He dodges the attacks, trying to figure out a counterattack. Eggman charges all the energy to the weapon, and the barrier is gone.
Sonic noticed it and got a chance. He dodges the spike-ball and hits the body with his Homing Attack multiple times.
Eggman tries to slap him away, but Sonic dodges it and uses his Spin Dash. That causes Sonic to enter the robot's body and take the Chaos Emerald, "Yes, got the last one." Eggman was mad at Sonic and immediately escaped, "Toodles, Sonic!" He notices Eggman fleeing and immediately chases him.
Eggman put his aircraft into maximum speed, outrun Sonic into the sky, "How am I going to reach there?" "Sonic!" He notices Tails riding a plane, "Get on!" He smiled and got on the plane's wing, "Nice plane, Tails." Tails smiled at the compliment, "I called it the Tornado. Now, let's go after Eggman." "You read my mind, buddy."
On the ground, Sticks and Bunnie notices Sonic and Tails riding a plane, "Those two are show off." Bunnie chuckled at that.
West Side Island, Oil Ocean

Sally and Nicole open more files, discovering something while Antoine keeps guard, "So this what Robotnik had been working on."
"What did you find?" She showed him a blueprint of the robot version of Sonic, "Seems like he's been keeping an eye on Sonic after his encounter at Chemical Plant." Antoine nodded.
"We need to tell them." "Agree." Sally contacted Sonic, Sticks, and Tails on her communicator.
West Side Island, Sky

Tails and Sonic got called from their communicator, "Hey, Sally, did you find anything?" "Yeah, looks like he's creating a robot of you." Sonic smiled, "Where are you guys right now?"
Sally asked, "I'm with Bunnie over here." Sticks said, "I'm with Sonic chasing Eggman." "Yeah, it seems like he's hidden somewhere in the cloud."
"Got it, keep on chasing him. We'll send reinforcements we can." "All right." Sonic and Tails nodded and continued to find Eggman.
Sonic and Tails saw bird shape Badniks coming at them, "Here they come, Tails." "Yeah." Tails speed up his Tornado and shoot blaster on the Tornado, while Sonic Homing Attacks the coming Badniks. He quickly changes direction so that Sonic land on the Tornado's wing.
'Let's see if I can use that move again.' Sonic Spin Dash on one spot, absorbing light energy, "Sonic, whatever you are doing, use it now!" Tails saw many Badniks coming at them. Sonic has done charging and quickly move at light speed.
Tails saw Sonic destroy the Badniks in a flash and landed back on the Tornado, "That was amazing, Sonic." Sonic smiled at the compliment, "Right, here." Tails give Sonic the last Chaos Emerald, "You forgot that I hold it." Sonic scratched his head, "Yeah, you're right."
Tails notice something in front of them, "Looks like this is where Eggman hides." Sonic turned and saw a fortress, "Tails, I'm going alone." Tails didn't know how to answer it, but he accepted it, "All right, be careful, Sonic." Sonic nodded and jumped on the platform. Meanwhile, Tails flew back down and shot down more Badniks.
Sky, Wing Fortress

Sonic looked around and quickly moved forward. And heads to Eggman by any means necessary.
He jumps on the rockets and sometimes heads inside the fortress, "I had to admit, Eggman is smartly created this in the cloud." He quickly uses Homing Attack and Spin Dash, 'I wonder how Tails is doing?'

Outside, Tails is shooting down more Badniks with Freedom Fighters' help, "Nice one, Tails." "Thanks, Nicole." He does a Barrel Roll and shoots more Badniks, "Since when can you do that?!" Tails sweatdrop, "I might have seen it in a game." 'Man, that game is awesome!'
"Tails, incoming three o'clock." Tails saw more Badniks coming with bombs, "Time to shoot those bombs." He shoots the bombs, exploding the Badniks that carried them.
Sky, Wing Fortress

While running, Sonic suddenly stopped and saw a vision, 'W-What are these?' In this vision, he heard a voice, "Hero of the Wind... you have been chosen." Then he saw he's back at the fortress, "Hero of the Wind? ... Is that... me?"
He saw more Badniks coming, "Well then, I guess I have to use that." Sonic charges up in his Spin Dash and quickly runs at light speed, destroying the badniks and everything around them. He ended anything that caused an explosion, "Now time to find, Eggman."
He ran up and saw Eggman without his aircraft, "Well, I wasn't expecting to find you this quickly." Eggman smiled, "And I wasn't expecting you to cause this mess."
He saw Eggman step backward, activating a barrier, "Is that going to stop me?" "No, this one does." He summons spike balls, "Let's see if you can hit me."
Two spikes balls are forward to hit Sonic, but Sonic dodges them until one of them hits the barrier, "Come on! Is that all you got?" He lets one of them chase him and hit the shield again, "All right, how's this?" Sonic saw some lasers barely dodges it. He saw some spike and jump, "Have at this!"
Eggman sends many traps, and Sonic dodges them until the console overlord explodes, "Eggman~." He saw Sonic walking towards them, "Yaaaaaah!" Eggman gets a head start, "Wait up!" Sonic chases him into his escape rocket, and Sonic catches up to it, sending him into space with Eggman.

At the sky, they saw the fortress explode, "All right, Sonic did it." "But where is he?" Antoine noticed it, "Over there." They saw Sonic hanging on to the rocket, "Should we help him?" "I think he had under control up there." Tails confident for Sonic's safety.
"All right, we'll help the slave here," Bunnie said on her communicator.
