The rocket landed, and Eggman quickly ran away. Sonic saw Eggman running, "Get back here!" He immediately dashed, trying to catch up with Eggman.

Eggman saw Sonic behind him and activated a door, blocking Sonic's path, "All right, I'll go the other way around." Sonic quickly heads in the other direction, trying to find a way to catch Eggman.

Sonic wall jumped the walls and Homing Attack the incoming Badniks in front of him, "Where are you, Egghead?" Suddenly he heard crying.

He stopped and decided to check it out and found a family of Jackal Mobian with their daughter in their hands who's unconscious, "You all right?" They walked away from him, "Hey, I'm here to rescue you."

The husband and wife looked at each other and trusted Sonic, "All right, let's go." They nodded and followed Sonic. While following Sonic, he asked them a question, "Are there others here?"

The husband answers, "No... the people that are here are gone." Sonic gets serious after hearing no more Mobians are here except them, "While we're trapped, we found an escape pod that we could use to escape."

Sonic turned around, "Where is it?" He nodded, "Follow me." They quickly follow him to the escape pod while Sonic destroys the Badniks that are coming for them. Once they made it, they quickly entered the pod, "I'll tell someone to look for you."

They nodded and active the pod, sending them back to earth. Sonic actives his communicator contacting Sally, "Sally, do you read me?" "Yeah, what is it, Sonic?" "I found some more Mobians that had been slaves up here."

West Side Island, Metropolis

That got Sally's attention, "Where are they now?" "They're on a pod heading toward an island that I don't recognize." Sally nodded, "All right, I'll send a search party to look for them. You go on ahead stop Eggman, blue." Sally realized what she just said, "All right, counting on you."

Sonic turned off the communication right before Sally blushed, 'What did I say that like Sonic?' "You all right?" Sticks asked, "Y-Yeah, I'm fine. How are they?" She pointed to where the Slaves at, "They are now recovering from the enslavement Eggman did." Sally takes a breath, "Good, I'll... go scout around for anymore Robotnik's creation."

Sticks nodded, "Okay, be careful." She quickly heads back, leaving Sally to think, 'A-Am I in love Sonic? W-Wait, why did I think that?!' Sally shakes he head for her focus, "I.. should get going." Sally immediately leaves, scouting the area.

Space, Death Egg

Sonic ran around the Death Egg until he heard a voice from the speakers, "OH, hohohoho. How are you, Sonic?" Sonic cleans his ears, "Honestly, it's kinda boring when I'm looking for you now." "True, but do you want to know where am I?" Sonic smiled, "A challenge is it?"

"Bingo! Head to the elevator in front of you, and you'll find me." Sonic is energized for this, "All right, Eggman. I'm coming for a challenge!" He entered the elevator and waited.

Sonic is listening to robotic music in the elevator while waiting for the doors to open, 'I had to admit, this music ain't bad.' The doors open, letting Sonic walk in.

He saw a robot copy version of himself in front of him, "Let me guess, I'm challenging him?" Eggman smiled on the other side, "Yes, but you have an audience." "Audience?" Then robots with cameras appeared, filming Sonic and the robot.

West Side Island, Metropolis

"Tails, that's the last of the robots." Bunnie saw there's no more Badniks, "All right, all that's left is to help Sonic." "I don't think you can, guys." Bunnie was confused, "Why's that Nicole?" "Robotnik's filmed the battle with Sonic up there."

Bunnie saw her communicator open a video, "Hoho, hello there, people. I'm Dr. Robotnik. And welcome to the battle!" The screen switches to Sonic and a robot copy of Sonic.

Skyline, Town Square

Amy and the rest of the town watch the video, "Isn't that the kid?" One townsfolk recognized Sonic, "What he's doing up there?"

Amy felt something will happen, "Now, in this battle, we have Sonic the Hedgehog and Robo Sonic." Then Robo Sonic turned on and shot the missiles, passing Sonic, causing an explosion, "Now, let's see who will win this battle. Enjoy the show."

'Sonic, please be careful.' Amy is worried about this.

Space, Death Egg

"Let's see what you got!" Sonic begins Spin Dash at Robo Sonic, but Robo Sonic dodges it and shoots bullets, "Priority one: Hedgehog." Sonic dodges it and punches Robo Sonic. Then Robo Sonic fights back, causing Sonic to move away.

"Hehehe, this is challenging." Robo Sonic begins to move, and he quickly dodges the punches, "Priority one: Hedgehog." He tries to kick Sonic but gets his right leg stuck, "Now's my chance!" Sonic Spin Dash, charging light energy, "Ready... go!" Sonic quickly moves at light speed, damaging Robo Sonic critically.

"P-Pri0r-r1-ty o-one: H-Hedg3hoG." Robo Sonic begins Spin Dash, "Have at this!" Sonic begins Spin Dash too. Causing a collision between them. Both of them charge towards each other until Sonic gets the upper hand and destroys Robo Sonic, "I did it."

The door opens, revealing Eggman, "Well, I never expected to reach like this."

Racing Island, Kit Town

"Whatever you say, Mister Eggman!" Some of them laughed at Sonic's nickname for Robotnik, "Fine laughed it all up, but I have one more trick up my sleeves!" They saw Eggman entering a robot version of him, "Let's see if you can beat this. Death Egg Robot, engage!"

Space, Death Egg

Sonic saw the foot putting down, and he barely dodges it, "Take this!" He Homing Attack the head, and the robot slaps him away, "Ugh!" Sonic get back up and continue fighting him. The robot shoots missiles behind his back, causing Sonic to move, "Have at this!"

Sonic jumps and kicks, causing blue energy to form and hit the Death Egg Robot, "N-Not bad." The robots get back up, "But I will not lose." The robot stretches his right arm, causing Sonic to dodge.

But he didn't notice the left arm coming at him, which caused Sonic to catch it, "C-Come on!" Sonic gets pushed back by the pressure.

West Side Island, Night Square

They were scared by Sonic's injuries, "You can do this!" "I know you will!" Some of the townsfolk begins cheering for Sonic.

"I know you can do it, Sonic. I know you will." Tails tell Sonic to stand up and push.

West Side Island, Metropolis

"Come on, Sonic! You're a hero!" "That's right, sugar. Keep moving forward!" Sticks and Bunnie cheer Sonic to move forward.

"Don't give up. You, save us. And we'll cheer you on!" All of the Mobians cheer for Sonic to move forward.

Space, Death Egg

Sonic hears everyone cheering him, 'Everyone.' "Don't give up. You are my hero!" He hears Amy's voice and smiles emotionally, 'Thank you, Amy.' Sonic begins pushing the hand away, "Aaaaaaah!" "W-What?!" He punches the hand away, causing it to break, "I won't lose, Eggman!"

Suddenly, the Seven Chaos Emeralds appeared around him, "What the?!" "What is it-? Ugh!" Then the emeralds enter Sonic's body, "Yaaaaaaah!"

His body begins to flash, causing his fur to turn to gold, his eyes changed to red, and his scarf's ring changed into a Red Star Ring, "T-This is incredible!" He saw the Death Egg Robot begin stomping him, and Sonic flipped it over.

"W-WHO ARE YOU?!" Eggman asked Sonic, "I'm Super Sonic. Time to finish this, Eggman!" He quickly moves at super speed, damaging the robot. "Now, to finish this!"

He let his left hand out, gathering the wind. Then he transferred it to his right hand and prepared his finished move, "SUPER SONIC CYCLONE!" He puts his arms in a plus "+" sign, with his right arm vertical and his left one horizontal, creating a beam that causes an explosion to the robot.

Earth

Sally and everyone were scared of Sonic's condition. The smoke clears, revealing Super Sonic is alive.

Most of them are impressed by Sonic or aren't but only one happy for Sonic's alive, 'Sonic, I'm so happy!' Amy began tearing up and felt emotionally smiling.

Super Sonic landed, "It's over, Eggman. You lost." He moved the part and found that Eggman was not there, 'Looks like he escaped.' Then Death Egg begins broken down, "Well, time to go."

He quickly moves at super-speed and flies.

He got out and saw the Death Egg broken to pieces, "Hopefully, that would stop Eggman for a while." He quickly flies back down, meeting everyone at West Side Island.

West Side Island, Emerald Hill

"Sonic!" He turned and saw Tails riding his Tornado, "That was awesome, Sonic." He smiled, "Thanks." They landed on the ground, and Sonic turned back to normal.

Then the emeralds begin to gather in circles and scatter, "Looks like I have to find them again." "Yeah." Tails and Sonic saw everyone heading towards them, "Shall we?" "Of course."

They begin running to them for celebration.

Great Mobius Island, Castle Acorn

The council gathers for the events that had happened, "That kid, it was impressive." "Yeah, I'd say that he had a good heart." One of the council said, "That's true."

Then the door opens, the butler sees them in a meeting, "Am I interrupted, sir?" "No, you're not. Is there something wrong?" "You have visitors."

He let them in, and they saw a familiar person with them, "Ah, Queen Flamber. It's been while you visited us." She nodded, "Yes, I've come to visit because I felt an energy that similar to the Sol Emeralds." They looked at each other, knowing something had happened.

A/N: Super Sonic's design is the same one from Drawloverlala's art and it's the best match (no pun intended). Now the first arc is complete, there will be more characters as well as new islands whose names will be very familiar.

Robo Sonic is Silver Sonic, and I only used that name since it's more fitting (for me at least). And if you're wondering what kind of music plays in the elevator, it's Eggman's theme from Sonic Adventure 2.
