A/N: Here we are at the 10th chapter of this story. I'm going to do the next arc later since everyone needs a character development or a side story for everyone. I will be creating a story that explains the plot of the characters. So, look forward to it. Anyway, enjoy the story.

One day after Sonic's battle at the Death Egg, Sonic, Tails, and Sticks are resting at West Side Island. After that, they had to go to Great Mobius Island to meet someone with royalty, "So, you guys bring everything?" Sticks nodded, "Yeah, I had help with bringing my Tornado."
They saw Sally waiting there, "You guys ready?" "Yeah." They follow Sally to the airship, "So, how big is the aircraft?" Sally smiled, "You'll see for yourself."
They continued to walk and saw how big the aircraft was, "Welcome to the Sky Center." Tails is impressed by how massive it is.
Sky Center, Cargo Hold

They get on to the Cargo Hold and see how wide it is, "You guys sure have so much space in here." Sally smiled, "Well, sometimes we gotta bring something from the mission that is so big." Tails saw the Tornado is there, "-sigh- It's saved." Sonic pats Tails back for comfort.
Sky Center, Hallway

"So you can go anywhere from here?" "Yeah, we put a map or signs that will tell you where you are." Sally pointed to where the map and the signs.
Tails pushed the button on the map and showed him the guide also the instructions, "You prepared for this." "Well, you better thank Rotor for that."
They were confused by this, "Who's Rotor?" Sonic asked, "He's one of the council members and also the member of the Freedom Fighters." They nodded for understanding.
Sky Center, Workshop

They headed upstairs and saw the workshop, "It's... amazing!" They saw Tails wanted to work here, "Well, you can work here since we're going to need some more engineers for this one." Tails nodded.
"So, how many engineers are there?" Sally crossed her hand, "About ten or fifteen engineers." Tails nodded.
Sky Center, Training Room

"This is where we train for our mission." They saw many members training or sparring at each other, "What happens when someone goes overboard on the sparring?" Sonic asked, "Well, the medical team will come and take them for treatment."
In the distance, a purple wolf Mobian looked at them for inspection.
Sky Center, Control Room

"And this is the Control Room." They saw many people are working and checking the system, "We used this to control our Sky Center." "What is the Sky Center power by?" Tails asked, "It's power by the wind."
They were surprised (except for Sally) a Lynx Mobian appeared behind them, "Wait, are you, Nicole?" She nodded.
They see that she's wearing a purple dress, black fingerless gloves, and a purple scarf with a system behind them.
"I'm Nicole, and I'm the controller of the Sky Center." Sticks nodded, "Nice to meet you." Sticks pat her shoulder but phased through, "I forgot to mention, she's not real Mobian." They saw Nicole was seen as a hologram, "Maybe I can help with that." "Help with what, Tails?"
"You know, making her an AI body that can phase through." Nicole smiled, "I like the idea, Tails." Tails smiled, "Anyway, I should show you three rooms." "R-Right." Nicole waved her right hand as they left the Control Room.
Sky Center, Living Quarters

Sally shows them the rooms, "This is where you guys will stay." They saw the doors to their rooms, "So, what's in those rooms?" "There should be a bed, a table. Some of them had windows, and all of them had a mailbox." Sticks was surprised, "Where's the mailbox?" "It's in the room."
"You guys rested up a bit. We're going to take off very soon." Sally said before she went into the hall. Sonic and Tails play along with it, and they head inside to their room.
Sky Center, Sonic's Quarters

Sonic saw in his room had a window and a mailbox, "So this is where I will be staying." He saw the mailbox is lighting, "I wonder who's sending it?" He opened it and found a letter and a box.
He took a look at the envelope and saw it was from Amy, "Amy, huh?" He opens and reads the letter.
Dear Sonic,
How are you after the battle with that robot?! I was worried for your safety. During the fight. I saw how you've grown for four years brave and had the courage to move forward. If you're wondering, how am I at Skyline? I'm fine, and I have grown strong to help others that had been treated wrong. I wish we could meet again, but I guess you're busy. I had baked cookies for you with the help of my mother. Make sure you send a letter to me, all right?
Sign, Amy Rose
Sonic felt happiness after reading it. He opened the box and found cookies inside, "Wow, she really did make these cookies." He heard a knock from the door, "Come in." He saw Tails and Sticks coming in, "How are you both rooms?"
"Well, I have a window in my room." Tails said, "I didn't have a window, but it was fun for jumping on the bed." Sonic and Tails sweatdrop.
He then notices a box of cookies, "Are those cookies?" "Yeah, I got them from a friend of mine. Want some?" They nodded and quickly ate it.
They saw how good those cookies are, "I-It's good." Sticks' eyes were tingling for the cookies, "Maybe we should share with them?" "Yeah, that's a good idea."
Tails brought the box of cookies to everyone with Sticks. He then noticed Sonic still seated, "You're not coming?" "Nah, I need some time to think." They nodded and left the room.
Sky Center, Break Room

"Hey, guys!" Sally, Antoine, and Bunnie notice Tails and Sticks, "Oh, hey, Tails, what is that box?" "Well, a friend of Sonic gave this to him. And Sonic wanted to share with you guys." Antoine nodded.
"Where is Sonic, anyway?" "He's in the room. I think he might have a crush on his friend." Sally chuckled, "Well, we should keep away from his privacy." "Uh-huh."
They took a bite of the cookies and saw how it tasted so good, "His friend is an amazing bakery." "Totally." They took a bite and saw there were only three cookies left, "Maybe we should leave some for Sonic." "I think that's a good idea."
Sticks sneaking reaches out her hand, but Antoine slaps it away, "By the way, when are we going to make it to Great Mobius Island?" Tails asked, "About a week, it should be plenty enough time for taking a rest or doing activities."

Sonic walked around in the hallway while thinking in his head, 'What should I do? Maybe I should start training on that technique.' He walked to his right, heading towards the Training Room.

He looked around and tried to find anything that suitable, "Are you looking for something?" He turned and saw purple wolf Mobian, "Yeah, I'm looking for something that's pretty suitable for training." "I see. The name's Drive. And I can help you with that."
He nodded and followed Drive to training. He looked at the practice dummy, "Ready?" Sonic nodded. He concentrated on the surroundings and began to move, "Take this!"
He jumped crossed kick, creating a wind current that hit the dummy. Drive saw it very interested, "Hm, maybe you should need some work on those legs."
Sonic is confused by it, "When you started to cross kick, it creates the wind current, so you might need to perfect that."
Sonic looked at his legs and tried to think about how to do it, "Is there a training that is suitable for kicking?" He nodded, "Follow me." He followed Drive to another section of the Training Room.
Sonic saw people kicking the target with their legs, "By the kick that you do, I think I found a suitable way to do it." He followed Drive and saw the target, "Try cross kick first." Sonic nodded.
He jumped and crossed the kick and saw the target moving up, "Nice, now let's see if you can kick at a higher level." Sonic smiled and tried it.
Across the room, three Mobians saw Sonic training, "Hey, isn't that the new kid?" The leader turned and saw him, "Yeah, that's definitely him." "I heard that he defeated a robot copy of himself and a giant robot." "True, but..." He smirked, "I can take those robots very easily." "Let me guess... you are doing that thing again." He laughed about it.
He jumps and manages to hit, "That was impressive." Both of them turned to see one snake Mobian, one bear Mobian, and one gorilla Mobian, "Who are you?"
"I'm Krang, and this is Veni and Crus." The gorilla Mobian introduces himself and his members, "And you're Sonic the Hedgehog, right?" He nodded, "Is there something that you need?"
He smiled, "I want to spar with you. I like to see what are you made of." Sonic smiled, "I accept." Krang smiled on the response, "You sure about this, Sonic?" "Of course, after all, I want to test my skill." Drive sighed, "All right, let's do it now." Sonic nodded.
They quickly arrived at the Spar Arena, "The rules are simple when one of you is heavily injured or wanted to stop, the spar will stop." They nodded, "Ready to lose, hedgehog?" Sonic smiled, "Then come at me!" Krang immediately came forward and used his fist, but Sonic dodged it and kicked him in the face.
Sonic then jumped away from Krang and used Homing Attack on the body. While Krang managed to catch him with his right hand, Sonic quickly Spin Dash hurting his opponent's right hand, "Yaaah." He quickly throws him away, but Sonic manages to land.
Everyone that watches the sparring was surprised by it, "I think we might have to stop this spar." "No!" Krang looks angry at Sonic, "I... won't lose!" Krangs jumps and tries to ground slam Sonic, but Sonic barely dodges it and punches him in the back.
"I won't fight you anymore." Sonic turned his back on him.
Krang clenched his fist, "DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME!" Krang is about the catch and crushes him, but Sonic flips him over, "Ugh!" Krang passed out after flipping over, "I think that was too much."
The medical team carried Krang for healing, "There's no way you would have won that." He turned and saw Krang's members looking at him, "That's right, you must have cheated."
Sonic is confused, "Look, I don't know what you two are talking about, and besides, everyone saw that I fought fairly." "That's right! He played fair and square." "Stop being such a pussies!" Everyone that watches the battle defends Sonic from them, "Now if you'll excuse me, I had the training to do."
Sonic leaves and head back to training to his kick with Drive, "That was not a bad performance." "Thanks."
Sky Center, Sonic's Quarters

It was an evening that day, and Sonic heads back for rest. He opens the door and finds leftover cookies that he gives. Sonic saw a letter by the table.
Make sure you eat those cookies, all right.
Sonic smiled and decided to eat them. While eating, Sonic had an idea on the letter.
A/N: So, let's talk about the elephant of the room. I love Sonamy, all right? And the ships are hard to choose to please someone reading this story. And if you're wondering what is the shape of the Sky Center, it's like the shape of Eggman's Battleship (from '06) with the colors are bluer with white, yellow, and black. And all of the members on the Sky Centers are Mobians (just to clarify).
