Amy wakes up in the morning, "Could you check if there's any mail, Amy?" "Yeah, I'll do it, mom." Amy goes and checks the mailbox. She opens and only to find an envelope, "A letter?" She inspected it and saw it was for her, "Somone must have given it to me."
She heads back into her house, "Did you find anything in the mail?" "Just a letter." Amy showed her mom the letter, "Are you going to read it?" "Yeah, in my room." Her mom smirked, "All right, I'm going to work today." "Okay, mom." Her mom left, leaving Amy to read the letter.
She opened the letter and saw it was from a familiar person, "Oh, it's from Sonic."
Dear Amy,
How are you? Right, those cookies you send to me. It's so tasty! I shared those with my friends, and they liked it too. I'm still okay after the battle that you watch. If I have some free time, I'm going to visit you or go with you somewhere very heartwarming. I'll write another letter to you very soon.
Sign, Sonic
Amy smiled, knowing Sonic was okay, "Oh, Sonic." She heard the birds chirping, "Well, I have to go too." She opens the door and leaving.
Sky Central, Workshop

In the workshop, Tails and Sally are working on Nicole's body, "If we have something that can complement with data, we could get Nicole in real life." Sally knows a thing, "There's Nanite."
"Wait, are you talking about those metal things that are small?!" Sally nodded, "We used them to create prospects for Bunnie's left hand and her legs."
Nicole sighed, "Unfortunately, those things are currently with Rotor now." Sally nodded, "I figure you need my help."
They turned to see a Mobian walrus wearing a blue jacket with a red star ring logo, yellow gloves, yellow goggles, a green tool belt, and form-fitting black and grey shoes with yellow socks.
"Rotor! I didn't think that you'd be here." Sally was surprised, "Well, I wanted to check on the Sky Central, especially the recruits." He meant Sonic, Tails, and Sticks, "I-It's nice to meet you." Rotor smiled, "Nice to meet you too, kid."
He saw the invention they are created, "Well, I have a bunch of Nanites here." He showed them the bag of Nanites, "Sweet, that means we can create it." Tails are very excited about it, 'That kid is reminding me of myself.' Rotor saw how Tails was very exciting about the creation.
Sky Central, Mission Command

Sonic opens the door and sees it's busy, "I guess everyone is here for a mission." He looked at the clipping board, finding anything interested. 'Man, I guess Drive is right on how there are many missions are there.' He found a mission and quickly accepted.
"I want to accept on this mission." Sonic hands out the flyer to the cat Mobian receptionist, "You're new here?" Sonic nodded. She saw Sonic doing a chore mission, "Well, based on your rank. You can do this mission." "Rank?"
She showed him the ranks, "Soldier Rank is for the recruits. Fighter Rank is for the people that had 25 points. Warrior Rank is for the people that had 100 points. Lastly, the Knight Rank is for the people that had 1000 points." Sonic nodded for understanding, "As of now, you're in the Soldier Rank. Get 25 points, and you reach a new rank." Sonic smiled, "All right."
She pointed to the teleporter, "You can use that teleporter to reach your destination." "Got it, thanks." Sonic heads to the teleporter, "Good luck on the mission." He stepped on it and teleported to the location.
Racing Island, Sky Command

Sonic arrived at his destination and headed to the receptionist, "Welcome, you're here for a mission?" "Yeah, I'm here for a chore mission." She looked at it and found it, "It's in the Metal Component."
Sonic nodded and headed for the door, "Wait, do you need any directions?" "Don't worry about it. I can find it."
Sonic quickly left the Sky Command and headed to the Metal Component.

The receptionist saw Krang and his members, "Where's Sonic?" "He's currently on a chore mission." He smiled, "So, that blue idiot is-" "Who are you calling an idiot?" They were surprised that Sonic returned with a bag in his right hand, "T-That was fast."
Sonic smiled, "Wait, what's your chore mission, anyway?" Sonic scratched his head, "Just clean up the warehouse and paint it."
Racing Island, Metal Component

"You'll clean the warehouse and paint the warehouse on the selected color." Sonic thumbs-up, and quickly paint it in a flash. The warehouse was already clean, and the warehouse was in color, "All done."
The workers and the owner were surprised by the speed, "Are you by any chance that blue hedgehog that appeared on tv?" Sonic got awkward hearing it, "Yeah, I'm him." The owner shakes his right hand, "Thank you for saving the island." "N-No problem."

Sonic was awkward at the arrival at Racing Island, "Where did you get that bag?" "I was given by one of the residences of the island." Krang got jealous by it, "Hey, how many did points did I earn?" The receptionist forgot about it, "5 Points."
Sonic nodded, "Stop ignoring me!" He saw Krang charge at him, but he tripped. He turned and saw he tripped by Sonic's left foot, "If you'll excuse me. I had work to do." Sonic quickly left and back to choose another mission.
"We need another member for our mission." He heard a conversation of a group.
One is a male light blue wolf Mobian with spiky brown hair, one a male brown hawk Mobian, and the other is a female black bat Mobian with a face mask, "Yeah, we only need one more member. Since this is a four-member mission."
The blue wolf Mobian notices Sonic, "You, what is your rank?" "Soldier Rank." He quickly ignored Sonic until the hawk recognized him, "Wait, are you the hedgehog that fought a giant robot?"
Sonic nodded, "Wait, maybe we should recruit him!" "Come on. He's a Soldier Rank that means he's a rookie!" "Settle down." The bat Mobian stops the argument, "We'll let him join." The hawk Mobian was happy, while the wolf had no choice but to accept it.
"Do you need to be in the same rank?" "No, you don't need to if one of your members is in the right rank." Sonic nodded, "Right, I'm Valk Dust. The blue wolf is Scar Bloe. And our leader that bat Mobian is Geu Kura."
They saw Geu back from the receptionist, "We had accepted, let's go." They nodded and headed to the teleporter. "Where are we headed?" "We're headed to Mystic Island." Sonic nodded, and they teleported.

They arrived at the island, and Geu asked the receptionist, "So, what's our mission?" "We supposed to catch a group of mercenaries." Sonic nodded. They saw Geu come back, "The mission is at Mystic Airlines." They nodded, and they headed to the airline.

They arrived at the airlines and saw much police surrounding the airport, "Are they even terrorists or just mercenaries?" Sonic asked, "Possibly both." "I'm going to meet someone who's in charge here." Geu heads to find the one who's in charge.
"Are you the one who's in charged here?" She asked the wolf Mobian wearing a detective coat who's smoking, "You sure take your time." "We have a shortage of members, but we got it fixed."
"They called themselves Mercenary of The Cloud, famous for their work at Niphon Island." "Are there any hostages?" He threw his cigarette away, "Yea, most of them are employees or the passenger." Geu saw the forces are talking to a walkie-talkie, "What are their demands?"
He looked at the notebook, "A 5-star aircraft, weapons, food, and medicine." Geu thinks of a plan, "How long do we have?" "Three hours." Geu nodded and headed back to his team, "Make sure that kid is alive." She nodded, knowing that he'd referred to Sonic.
Valk saw Geu's back from the conversation, "Well, do you have a plan?" "Yeah, here's the plan..." They discuss the plan.
Mobians with weapons guard around the hallway. In one of the rooms, the hostages are frightened, "Be quiet, or we'll shoot!" Suddenly three of them got knocked out, "You're-!" "Don't make a sound!" They nodded, knowing they had to be quiet.
"All right, Scar, you'll stay and watch over the hostages. Sonic, Valk, you're with me." He was surprised, "Wait, why do I have to stay?" Geu turned, "You'll find out soon." Sonic and Valk follow him, leaving Scar to watch over the hostages.
Geu stops them and watches the corner seeing the guards, "We need to cause a distraction." "I could do it." Sonic volunteer, "All right, good luck."
Sonic nodded and quickly some distractions by bagging the trash can, "Someone here! Quick!" They see they fell for it. And they went in the opposite direction.
Sonic caused some noises with a trash can and soda, "Stop!" He quickly knocks them out in a second, 'Gotta keep moving.' He continues with the distractions.
"We have an intruder!" He asked in the walkie-talkie, "How many?" "Just one, but he's pretty fast." He looked at the big guy, "You know what to do?" "Of course, brother!" He quickly heads to where Sonic is.
Geu and Valk heard a commotion, and they have hidden in a vent, "Find that hedgehog!" They saw Sonic drawing attention to himself, "This should be easy." "Possibly." They quickly headed to where the leader.
Sonic landed after kicking ten guards coming for him, "Piece of cake." He heard footsteps behind him, seeing a big bear Mobian with a cloth and a weapon in his hand, "I suppose you're the intruder?" "I am." He smiled and threw it away using his fists, "Let's see what you got." Sonic smiled and charged at the Mobian.
He fights back with his punch, but Sonic spin kick his face, and he quickly blocks it, "You're reputation says about you." Sonic smirked at the compliment.
Sonic jumped and began using his technique, "Sonic Wind!" He created wind by cross-kick, causing a blow that pushed him into the pillar.
He immediately dashed fight back by punching Sonic. And Sonic Spin Dash up his chin.
Gue and Valk find the leader in the Security Room, "So, you're here." He turned around at them.
He was a Japanese wolf Mobian with short hair wearing a purple Kimono, a headband, and a samurai katana, "I never expected that a group of four people cause this mess."
"Well, we are from the Sky Central." He smiled and pulled out his katana, "Let our battle commence." He quickly charged at them for battle.
Sonic got pushed away, and quickly Spin Dash charged his light energy, "Ready... go!" He moves at light speed, and the bear barely keeps up with him, "This will finish it!"
He began charging and used his finisher, "SONIC CYCLONE!" The beam hit him, knocking over the chairs, and Sonic landed on his feet, "Hehehe, that was a fun battle." "Yeah." Sonic turned and left him, "Hopefully, our rematch will be better."
Gue and Valk managed to keep up with the sword slashes, "Sword style: Cresent of Light." He sends out a slash beam like a crest of a moon.
They ducked, dodging the attack, "You both are amazing fighters, but it seems another challenger is coming." He avoids Sonic's Spin Dash, "What happened to the guards?" Sonic smiled, "I knocked them out."
He smiled, "Finally, a worthy opponent." He attacked Sonic, but he dodged in a flash.
Sonic fought back with everything he got while his opponents attacked him with his sword, "Sword Style: Flame of War." Sonic quickly fought back, "Sonic Wind!"
Both attacks clashed at each other, "I wish we could battle more, but our time is up." Sonic was confused until the forces surrounded him, "You're coming with us." "Of course." He put his katana down and raised his hands.
Outside, all of the members are arresting, "Looks like we got all of them." Gue agrees with Sonic, "So you're the kid, huh?"
He turned and saw the wolf Mobian, "I'm Agent Silent. I need to ask you about something, kid." Sonic nodded, "Where were you born?" "I don't know. I was grown in an orphanage at Skyline."
He nodded, "So, you don't know who is your parents?" "Yeah, I was found and raised." He writes down in his notebook, "Can I ask a question?" "Sure." "Who were those two?" He put his notebook away, "The bear Mobian is Tsu, and the other one is Kodi. They're mercenaries that fight in code of honor."
Sonic now understands it, "I see." "I have to get going. We'll meet again." He saw Agent Silent is leaving, "We better report back." "Yeah." They quickly head back to Sky Command.
Sky, Prison Aircraft

Tsu and Kodi are sitting in their seats, 'That hedgehog.' He remembers watching Sonic battling Death Egg Robot, 'I will fight that hedgehog one way or the other.' He smiled, figuring out when will they meet again.

"Congratulations, you all get 35 Points." Sonic hears it, 'That was a cheating move.' He saw his rank got higher.
"By the way, what are you guys' rank?" "We're in Warrior Rank." Sonic nodded for understanding.
"I better head back to my room." "All right, be careful." Sonic nodded and headed back to his room for a rest, "You know, I was wrong about him." "Well, everyone makes assumptions, all right."
Gue smile wondering how Sonic will grow.
