A/N: Sorry that it took longer to update my chapter. The reason behind this is, that I'm writing the next chapters for the end of the arc as well doing something new that outside Sonic's game does (then people started to hate me for copying it and I don't care about it).

Angel Island, Carnival Night

Sonic and Tails landed on the ground, "-blow- That was tired." "Yeah." Sonic saw the others coming, "Hey, we're here!" They arrived to see them, "So, is this a carnival?" "Yeah, it's a carnival." Sonic looked at Niru, "So, where's your base?"
She looked at the distance, "It should be the past of this Carnival." Sticks smiled, "Well, let's go." They quickly move forward.
Everyone quickly split up, "Looks like you're with me, Tails." "Yeah." Sonic and Tails speed up, moving forward.
Sticks and Blaze continue moving forward until they hear a voice, "Hey, girls." They turned around to see Bunnie right behind them, "Bunnie, what are you doing here?" "Well, I got called by Sally-girl to come here for you guys to help out." She looked around, "Hey, where's Sonic and the others?"
"We kinda split up when we move forward." Blaze nodded, "So, is she here?" "'She'?" Sticks was confused, "The slave Mobian that you guys found." "Oh, I think she's with Niru. She found her on this island before we got here." Bunnie nodded, "All right, I hope Sally-girl can find them." They were surprised, "Wait, she's here too?!"
Sally climbed up the walls with her Ring-Blades, "Well, It should be here." She jumped and made it, "All right, let's continue." She active her Ring Blades to climb up again, but the wall in front of her exploded, "I think you destroy the other side too."
She saw Reini, Niru, and the giant ring on the other wall, "Oh, sorry. My friend didn't see you there." "No, it's okay. Were you attempting to grab the Chaos Emerald?" Niru nodded, "Yeah, we were getting the emerald for a friend of ours." 'She must be talking about Sonic and the others.'
"Then, can I come too?" She smiled, "Of course, let's go." "Yeah." They jumped in, transporting them to the Special Zone.
Sonic and Tails continue running forward, "Well, this place had fun." Sonic ground pounds the spring using his Spin Dash, springing him upwards, "That was a good trick, Sonic." He smiled at the compliment
Sonic went ahead, but he didn't notice a spring in front of him, "Woaaaaah!" "Sonic!" Tails saw Sonic sending forward, "Hold on, I'm coming!" They quickly move forward until they hit a wall.
"A dead end?" The ground below them slowly descends, "Are we going down?" They saw a robot coming down, throwing bombs, and sending spike drones, "Move!" They quickly move away and hit the robot.
Sonic jumped and cross-kicked, "Sonic Wind!" He sent out a wind, blowing away the drones and damaging the robot. "Have some of this!" Tails used his Miles Cannon, sending an energy blast at it.
Sonic jumped and curled up into a ball, damaging the robot from the top. But he didn't notice the drones and got pushed away, still damaged from it, "Tails!" "Right." Tails threw his Dummy Rings and finished it off. They saw the platform had stopped descending.
"Well, that looks like the only path we had." Tails saw where Sonic pointed, "That's true." A Giant Ring opens above them and sends Sally and the others, "Oof! That hurt!" "Sally?" She saw Sonic and Tails there, "Sonic, Tails, there you are!"
"What are you doing here? We thought you're supposed to be staying at the Sky Central." Sally scratched her head, "You see, when I heard of one of the Mobian slaves, I had to check on it." "Of course, you're a princess after all."
Tails looked at Niru, "Did you get the Chaos Emerald?" She shook her head, "Unfortunately, someone got to it first." Sonic bumped his hands, "It has to be Knuckles." "You got it right. Knuckles quickly get the emerald first before leaving the Special Zone."
Sally thinks about it, "How many did you guys have?" They show Sally five Chaos Emeralds, "All right. We should move on ahead. Who knows when the egg head will show up." Sonic quickly stopped, "Sally, did you just call Eggman an egg head?"
"Yup." Sonic couldn't hold the laughter in him, "W-We should get going." "I know." Sonic stopped laughing and quickly moved forward.
Bunnie jumps up on the platform, "You girls all right?" She saw them catching up with her, "Yeah, but can we get down? I'm getting tired of jumping." In truth, she was scared of looking down again, "Sure, you can come down."
Blaze sigh in relief and climbs down, 'I hate high places.' Sticks follow her down, "Do you have to follow me around?" "Aw, come on. At least you aren't alone." Blaze sighed.
They continued running forward until they saw Sonic and the others below them, "Looks like they're here." "Let's meet up with them in the front." They nodded and went ahead.
They quickly run downwards underwater, 'Water, again?' Sonic in thought. They continue running forward, trying to get up. Tails saw Sonic is falling behind, and he helped him by carrying him.
The others are waiting outside the water, "Where are those two?" "Well, they probably will come out of the water eventually." They saw Tails carrying Sonic out of the water by flying, "You need to take some swimming lessons?" Sonic sighed and landed.
Sonic saw someone in the distance, "Is that-?" He looked closer and saw Knuckles there, "Well, well. I guess you made it out alive."
They get ready for the fight, "You have one of the emeralds, right?" He smiled, "Then I don't need to show it." He jumped on one of the buttons behind him, and the ground began to shake.
"What in the Mobius?!" They saw the water level in the carnival is rising, "You've got to be kidding me." Knuckles chuckled at this, "Well, have fun swimming!" He quickly ran and jumped, "WAIT!" Then he stretched out his arms and glided over the water, "Darn it."
Sally sighed, "Looks like we have to find him the hard way." "Sounds about right." They continue running forward, passing some obstacles and Badniks that Eggman created.
The group headed downwards again for across the waters, 'Maybe this will speed me up.' Sonic Spin Dash and getting a head start, 'Nice, Sonic.' Sonic jumped out of the water breathing the air.
They continued to move forward until Sonic stepped on a spring, "Oh, come on!" They saw Sonic sent ahead, "Sonic, hold on!"
Tails tried to reach him but got sent ahead too, "Woaaaah!" The springs bounce him to Sonic, "I think we should be careful too." "Yeah." They heard a click beneath them. They looked down and saw a spring, "Oh, Mobius!" Bunnie shouted.
They quickly scatter in the air by the spring.
Tails and Sonic breathe after the underwater, "Eggman now did something unexpected." Sonic lying on the ground, "Yeah." Tails heard something above, "LOOK OUT BELOW!" Sonic saw Sticks land on Tails' back, "W-What did I land?" "S-Sticks." She saw she landed on Tails, "UE-EEEEEHHH!"
Sonic smiled, 'This is cute.' He saw Sticks checking on Tails' condition after landing on him.
Carnival Night, Fun-Fun Tent

Sally and Reini landed on the floor, "That's a rough landing." Reini agreed with Sally, "Anyway, where did we land?"
They find themselves in a tent with seats, props, and a wire above them, "Did we land in a circus?" One of the spotlights turns on and moves behind them.
Behind, they saw robot clowns and Badniks dressed up in clown outfits, "I hate clowns." They quickly attack them with pies and anything that are silly.
Carnival Night, Happy Attraction

Bunnie, Niru, and Blaze crash-landed on a carousel, "Ow!" Niru felt something hit her head, "You all right, girl?" Niru gets back up, "Yeah." Around them is a carnival, "Something tells me this place isn't friendly." Niru prepared her fighting stance.
They saw robots and machines are walking toward them, "Time to have some fun." They quickly move forward to attack.
Angel Island, Carnival Night

Sonic, Sticks, and Tails continue moving forward after Sticks lands on Tails' back, 'This is embarrassing! Why am I thinking of him now?!' Sonic and Tails didn't notice Sticks shaking her head.
They stopped before hitting a spring, "That was close." "Yeah." They attempted to walk past it, but coconut came out of nowhere and hit Sonic's back head, 'Oh, Mobius.' They got hit by the spring and blasted off, "NOT AGAIIIIIIINNNNNNN!"
The monkey Badnik laughs at Sonic and his team after throwing his coconut.
After being blasted by a spring, they continue moving forward while destroying any Badniks and giant robots that block paths. They ran down on the runaway and heard a familiar laugh, "Aren't you getting a sore throat after laughing like that?"
They saw Eggman in his flying mobile, "Very funny. And I'm in a good mood watching everyone getting pranked." Sonic raspberry, "You're going to beat again, Eggman." Eggman snapped his fingers, summoning an upgrade for his mobile
"Let's see if you can handle heavy things!" They saw the orb falling and pulling them towards it, "Move back!" "Easy for you to say!"
Three of them tried to get away from the orb until it stopped pulling them, "Great, I have to carry it again!" Sonic saw a chance to attack it, and he does it by a Homing Attack three times.
"Come on!" Eggman managed to carry in the air again. He sent missiles from his mobile, "Wow, very original." Sonic said it sarcastically.
Sticks fling it back to Eggman, but he dodges it, "Nice try." But a bunch of Dummy Ring hit his back head, "You need to check first before making a statement."
Eggman is mad at Tails, and he shoots a laser from his mobile, "That was a close one." He moves his mobile, trying to get under Sonic, "Let's see if you can keep up." He quickly moves left and right, confusing Eggman, 'Focus.' He watches Sonic's movement and presses the button.
Sonic saw the orb coming down and breaking, almost hitting him, 'That was close.' He quickly tries to move away, but the force pulls him backward, "Come here, Sonic." Eggman smiled and powered it up, "Nope!"
Tails charged his cannon, aiming at the upgrade, "All right, fire!" He shoots it, damaging it, "C-Curse you, fox!" He quickly ejects before exploding into the mobile.
"Next time, you won't be so lucky!" They saw him flying away at full speed, "That's a wrap." "Yeah." Sonic notices a capsule, "Well, let's see what it does."
He jumps on it, releasing the flickies from the capsule, "That's where the egg-head kept the animals." "Yeah."
Sonic watches one of them fly away, "I guess Sally and the others found them after we leave the area." "You're not wrong, sugar."
They saw Bunnie, Niru, and Blaze are eating snacks, "Are those save to eat?" Bunnie nodded, "Yea, it's tasted pretty good." "You were lucky." They saw Sally and Reini covered in a mess, "What happened?"
"One word, clowns." They realized what happened, "Oh, sorry." "And that's not the worst of it." They saw Reini's body covered in cream, "Um, let's head to the base for clean up." Niru nodded, "It should be near here." They follow her to her campsite.
IceCap, Frozen Cavern

They saw the campsite is in the cavern, "This place is cold." "It's obvious since this place had ice around us." They arrived at the campsite and saw still function, "You kept it hidden." "Well, I am an adventurer."
Blaze saw a bonfire, and she began lighting it up, "Thanks, Blaze." Sticks come close to it, trying to keep her body warm.
Sally and Reini are washing their bodies near a hot spring. Meanwhile, the others are sitting by the campfire, "Seems like they're taking a bath for a while." "Agree. Why not tell a story to pass the time?"
Blaze smiled, "Good idea, Sticks." Bunnie thinks about the story, "So, what story are we telling here?" "Why not Sonic go first?" He was surprised, "Wait, what?" "I've been wondering what you were doing before you met me. You didn't tell us that."
Sonic scratched his head, "All right. I'll tell you, but it's hard to pick where I would begin." He then knows a memory to tell, "I know! How about I tell you guys when I made it to Garden Island?"
"You've been there?!" Sticks was surprised, "Yes, why?" "Did you bring the flowers?" "I didn't since I was helping the locals and traveling." Her head quickly looks down, "I want to smell them." Tails pat her back, "Are we getting off track?" "Right. So, when I was 14 years old..."
A/N: The next chapter is going to be either on Sonic Skyline of The Heavens or Skyline Chronicles. Since it's going to be flashbacks before the West Side island Arc. Anyways, hope you enjoy this chapter and make sure to follow it so you don't miss the new chapters I uploaded.
