A/N: Yesterday, I watched Sonic Movie 2 and it was an amazing movie! -cough- Sorry, my inner Sonic had been acted up since watching it. Before we start, some parts are familiar to some of you, some of them are coincidences and some I want to reference for everyone.

A shine of the sun wakes up Sticks in the morning, "Yawwwwnnn." She got up and saw Sally, Niru, and Blaze, "Good morning." "Yeah, good morning." She stretched her arms and saw someone not there, "Where's Sonic, Tails, Reini, and Bunnie?" She asked.

"They're already on the mission. While Bunnie heads back to the Sky Central for back-up." "Eh?" Blaze nodded for confirmation, "Nicole found the base this morning, and some of us had to guard this camp for lookout." Sticks tilted his head, "Why?" "Let's just say a certain Echidna is come out and smacked us on the head."

Sticks grumbling, "-sigh- Guess we have to wait for them to come back." "Yeah." Then they felt the awkward silence, "Do you guys want to have a conversation?" Niru asked them for a conversation.

IceCap, Snow Mountain

Meanwhile, Sonic, Tails, and Reini climb up the mountain, "Is this the direction, Tails?" Reini asked him, "According to Nicole, the base should be somewhere here." "Can't believe he made a base up here," Sonic said as he saw the view.

Reini saw Tails is scanning the area with his goggles, 'Geuss, a little talk with Sonic wouldn't hurt.' She decided to talk with Sonic about passing the time, "Do you have a family?" She asked him, "The family that I knew is my friends. So, no, I don't remember much."

"I see." "What about you?" She looked at the sky, "I have a mother, father, and sister." "Really?" She nodded, "My mother and father are retired from an adventure in the world. While my sister wants to become a full adventurer." He smiled at that, "She seems similar to Sticks." "You're right."

He looked at her, "Do you mean they're dreams or something else?" "Oh, I mean, both furs are very similar despite we're different Mobians." Sonic went silent, "I need to see her for confirmation." She smiled, "Maybe you will." "Hey!" They saw Tails calling to them, "I found the base."

They looked at each other and nodded before heading to Tails.

"The base is over there." He pointed to the next mountain, "That mountain over there?" He nodded, "Well, should I move ahead?" "Maybe, the sooner we get to Eggman, the better." They agreed on that.

Sonic peels out his hands behind runs in place for three seconds and finally runs into Super Speed. "We should catch up to him." "Yeah." They begin to run to catch up to him.

Sonic dashed through the snow and ran up to the mountain. And jumped to see the view of the mountains, "This is a sweet view." He curled his body like his Spin Dash, letting his body roll down the mountain.

IceCap, Ice Egg Base

"Hey, did Robotnik give us any break?" The yellow square robot asked the red ball robot, "No, I don't think he gives any because we're robots." He scratched his head, "That's true."

He nodded, "Intruder! Intruder!" They heard the alarm had been active. The yellow robot looked at the screen, seeing Sonic crashing the robots, "The hedgehog is here!" "I'm going to call him for back-up!"

Meanwhile, Sonic has destroyed the robots with his fist and kicks, "Seems like the egg has cooked another failure." He Spin Dash for a boost.

The metal door exploded as Sonic walked into a room, "Orbot! He's here!" "I can see that!" He looked and saw a robot controlled by two small robots, "Who are you supposed to be?" "I'm Cubot and his Orbot! And this robot is called the Death Crab!" Sonic sweatdrop, "Please ignore him. He's very broken."

"Sure." He runs, trying to find an opening. The Death Crab attempting to get the claws hit him, 'It's too easy.' Suddenly, the area became dark, "What?" He looked up and saw three more coming, "Shoot!"

The claws crashed, and he ran up them, "Let's speed up!" He dashed up, increasing speed, "Send the missile!"

The Death Crab shoots the missile around it. "Is it just me, or does Sonic is glowing yellow?" Cubot pointed to Sonic, where his body was glowing yellow, "Is his body- Oh, no! Quick, crush him!" "I'm trying! But he'd suddenly getting even faster!"

He started to go beyond Super Speed, making the rings on his scarf glow brighter, "Power Ring Dash!" He quickly moves around the robot, causing more damage and destroying the legs.

"Orbot, what should we do?!" He said as the robot is starting to shut down by the damage by Sonic, "I suggest we eject." "All right!" Cubot pressed the eject button in front of them.

Sonic stopped his speed by drifting in the front and used his gloves, "Hrrrrgh!" The result is leaving a drift mark on his right glove and legs.

"That went above my expectations." He saw the Death Crab splitting into multiple pieces, "Sonic!" He saw Tails and Reini come into the room, "Hey, you came here pretty quickly." "Well, we use the Spin Dash for a boost to get here."

He got confused by Reini's word, "You know how to Spin Dash?" "Yeah, Tails taught me when we were trying to get here." "Only because you were rolling your body downhill on your first try." She looked at him, mortified of hearing it, "That was before!"

He chuckled, "Well done, Sonic." They turned to see Eggman, Orbot, and Cubot behind the window, "I wouldn't be surprised if you beat this robot." He smirked, "Hey, you gave me this scarf for more boost. So, don't blame me for stealing it."

He chuckled, "Of course, but you have to fight him." "Him?" Suddenly, a hidden open door opens in front of them, "He means me." The figure walked forward, revealed to be Knuckles, "Right, I forgot you were here."

Eggman smirked at this battle, "Is the popcorn ready?" "It is!" Cubot showed the bowl of popcorn, "I would've liked to have the popcorn without YOU SCREAMING IN MY EAR!" Orbot and Cubot covered their ears to Eggman's voice.

"Before the battle, I had some power for the fight." Knuckles revealed them to have the remaining Chaos Emeralds on his hand. Sonic smirked at the challenge.

"Are you ready?" He smiled, "I was born ready." He started to Spin Dash, gathering the energy, "Reini, we should move back." "Agreed."

They move away from Sonic for cover. Sonic started to move light speed in ball form to Knuckles. A flash is seeing, "This light!" Tails said as he and Reini tried to get a better look.

The light starts down, revealing Knuckles holding Sonic (still in his Light Speed state) with his right hand, "Is this your best?" He pushes forward as red energy comes out from his body, "Arrrrghh!" Sonic spun his body faster, trying to force Knuckles away.

Suddenly more energy from the clash gets wild, "T-This force!" Knuckles gritted his teeth and smacked Sonic into the ground, causing both powers to disperse to the floor.

"Aaaaahhhh!" Tails and Reini gets blown out of the room as the door gets destroyed, blocking the entrance. "Mobiuuuuusssss!" Eggman, Orbot, and Cubot get thrown across the watching room, and the popcorns get scattered.

After getting ground pound, Sonic gets up after having damaged, "Urgh!" "T-The power, not bad at all." He saw Knuckles also get hurt by the blast, "But I've just getting started." Sonic gets up with his leg, "Me too." Knuckles jumped up and bumped his fist into each other for battle.

They run at each other for the fight, as Knuckles gets the first blow. Sonic smiled and fought back with his Homing Attack. Knuckles punches away the Homing Attacks and counter one of them. Then Sonic's legs glow blue, "Sonic Wind!"

He kicked, creating a wind blowing Knuckles into the wall, "Not bad!" He runs forward as he tries to punch Sonic.

Meanwhile, Eggman is looking very mad, "Are you saying the cameras had broken down?!" Orbot nodded, "The result of the blast caused the system to be overloaded, destroying the defense." He sighed, "And how is the Death Egg?" "It's prepared to launch, but we need an energy source."

He smirked evily, "Are you starting Plan B?" Cubot asked him, "Plan B will begin if both or one of them had died from their fight." "And if they're alive?" He smirked, "Then I fought them with my new robot." He walks through the door, "Let's get going." They nodded as they followed his boss.

Tails wake up and see Stick's face, "Are you all right?" "I-I'm fine." His eyes quickly wide open, "Isn't this too close?" She started to realize it, "S-Sorry!" She moves away, letting Tails get up.

"Owwww!" He saw Reini carrying Blaze's shoulder, "Why are you guys here?" "Let's just say a massive shake signaling us for help." "I see." Sally looked at the blocked entrance, "I'm guessing both are behind here." She heard a crash in the room, "Yeah, they're in there."

Then everything begins to crumble, "What's happening?!" "I think it's beginning to fall apart." Tails get up with his feet, "We should leave." "But what about Sonic?!" "Don't worry, I'm sure he found another exit." He sighed, "I hope so."

In the room, Sonic and Knuckles also felt the shake of the base, "The stakes are getting higher." "Yeah." Sonic dashed forward and grasped Knuckles' hands, "Why are you siding with Eggman? He's the enemy." "Enemy?"

He smacked him away and uppercut, "I think you're the enemy here." Sonic grits his teeth and headbutts at full force, "Urgh!" "Eggman is lying. He created robots to take over the world." "Why would I be worried for the world?"

Knuckles tries to hit Sonic but hits the floor instead, "They don't care about our people, as they care about themselves." Sonic kicks him in the head, but Knuckles seized it. "What? Aren't you the last one?" "Maybe, but you didn't know how they've gone." He punched in the chest as he started to collapse.

Sonic took a breath for fighting, "Some of my people were still alive ten years ago. But they disappear into nothing." Knuckles grabbed his left hand, "What do you mean?" "You people treated them like trash!"

Sonic was surprised to hear it, "What?!" "That's right! My clan was the only family I had left. But, the Mobians and Humans kicked them out as they were criminals!" Sonic started to feel sympathy for him, "N-No, I didn't think-"

"It doesn't matter." He cracked his left bone, letting the arms move again. "Because the apology had died a long time."

They started to hear a crack, "What?" "Hm?" They looked around for the noise. But as they looked at the floor, it started to fall apart, "No!" "Urgh!" The bottom breaks, revealing a big hole underneath, "Aaaahhhhh!"

As they fall, Sonic notices Knuckles throwing a scrap of metal at him, but he kicks it away, "Wait, stop!" "Are you giving up?" Knuckles jumps off the metal platform beside him to hit Sonic, but he moves away by grabbing the door, "I was wrong. you need to listen to me!"

Sonic caught Knuckles's right fist and left hand to stop him, "You have to listen to me! Please!" "NO!" He kicked his junk threw across the hole, hitting the walls.

"Urgh!" Sonic charges his move, "SONIC-" "I don't think so!" Knuckles interrupted it by kicking his face, "Argh!" Sonic ducks letting Knuckles strucked the wall and uppercuts.

As they continued falling, they saw crystals and ruins around them, "What is this place?" While Knuckles felt disappointed by the actions, 'Shoot, I didn't think it was under here!'

Angel Island, Hidden Palace

They crash-landed as many parts from the base tumbled around them. "That hurt!" Both Sonic and Knuckles struggled to get up after falling from the floor, "Knuckles, can we talk about this?" Sonic managed to get on his feet, "No! I already know that it's a trick!"

Knuckles managed to get up but felt a lot of damage in his hands, "You need help, please, calm down." "I will not!" Suddenly the Chaos Emeralds float around in circles, "The Chaos Emeralds." Then flash appeared, blinding Sonic and Knuckles.

They opened their eyes and saw a big green Chaos Emerald with strange markings, "What is that emerald?" All of the emeralds suddenly grow big and teleported into their pedestals.

"What happened?" Sonic questions the events, "Master Emerald responds to the Chaos Emeralds, turning them into Super Emeralds." Knuckles said. Then Sonic looked at big green Chaos Emerald, 'So that's Master Emerald.'

Suddenly, the Master Emerald glows faintly, "What is it doing?" Sonic doesn't understand it, but Knuckles does, "'To understand each other, you must have a duel with each other.' It says." "Wait, are you saying we are fighting in this state?"

It begins to glow again, "'Allow me to assist with that.'" Knuckles translate it as it starts sending Chaos Energies towards them. "T-This feeling!" "I don't know what's going on, but I'll accept it!"

Both of their bodies send out a light changing their bodies. Sonic opened his eyes and saw he's turned into Super Sonic, "This form again..." "I could see how you defeated the doctor with the Chaos Emeralds."

Sonic saw Knuckles' fur change into Magenta, and his eyes changed into lighter purple, "So you have your own Super Form, very original." "Let us see how long you will survive."

Both charged each other face to face and quickly moved around, trying to get a hit. Sonic Spin Dash but Knuckles catches and deflects him towards the crystals, "Not bad!" He quickly fast punches Knuckles in the face and kicks his head.

They quickly punch each other and begin to move even faster than light. Once the fists got contacted, they started a powerful shockwave. Enough to shooked the entire island.

IceCap, Snow Mountain

While Tails and the others are running to the extraction point, they discerned a shake on the island, "W-What going on?!" "I think something's going on the island."

Suddenly, Tails' Communicator gets a notification, "Nicole, what's wrong?!" "Bad news, two massive Chaos Energies are present beneath the island. If the energies keep on fighting, it will destroy the island!"

"WHAT?!" The shake quickly becomes more aggressive as an earthquake, "We need to help Sonic, fast!" "But how? We don't know the entrance to the location they're in." Sally looked at Nicole, "Nicole, try to scan the area for a nearby entrance." She nodded, "I'll try. Find a place to hide while waiting."

"Got it." Nicole turned off the communication so that she scanned the area, "We better find a place to hide before-" "Avalanche!" They turned around, and saw an avalanche coming toward them, "Everyone, run!"

They quickly run away as they already know what to do. The snow began to move closer and buried everyone after being hit by it.

Angel Island, Hidden Palace

While events are chaotic outside, both Sonic and Knuckles are exhausted in their Super Forms, "Why?! Why aren't you going down?!" "Because I will not rest until I open your eyes."

Knuckles was confused, "What do you mean, open my eyes? I've already seen the truth of your people!" Sonic tilted down, "Well, it may be true that you didn't minister with respect... I also haven't ministered with respect!" Knuckles begin gritting his teeth, "Stop lying!"

"I'M NOT!" Sonic shouted out of emotions, surprising Knuckles, "Before I became this, I was a nobody." He remembers the past at the orphanage, "I always wanted to have a friend that I care about, but..." He quickly remembers a memory that everyone is pointing at him, "no one wanted me. Because I'm a stranger to them."

Knuckles slowly stands down after hearing Sonic's story, "I want to have fun, talking with them, and more. But they always ignored me, even the foster parents. Even if the Orphan Keeper interacts with me, I always felt alone and despair."

Tears begin to come out of his eyes, "Then, I created a plan to make myself happy." He had a flashback of escaping the orphanage with only his shoes and gloves, "I escaped the orphanage and trained myself. So I can be happy."

After hearing it, Knuckles clenched his fist, feeling bad for it, "I didn't know that you had experience." "It's all right." He wiped his tears, "You don't need to feel bad for it."

Suddenly, both collapsed on the floor, "W-What happened?!" Sonic looked at his body and saw he changed back into his regular form, "I think we reached our limits." Knuckles also changed back after the transformation.

Sonic felt the exhaustion of the pain, 'So, this is pain, huh?' He saw Knuckles walk up to him and pull out his hand. "Hold still." "Huh?" His hand glowed green then Sonic saw his injuries gone.

"A truce?" He reached out his hand to Sonic, "Yeah, a truce." He accepts it, letting Knuckles help him get up.

"I better call my friends." He checked his communicator and saw that it got smashed, "Great." "Did it break?" Sonic nodded, "Sorry." "No, it's okay. We did hit each other to the core. So, it wasn't your fault."

Sonic notices Knuckles is alarmed, "What's wrong?" "T-The Master Emerald is in danger!" Sonic was surprised to hear it.

They quickly rushed to the shrine and saw Eggman (in his Egg Mobile) carrying the Master Emerald with the claw, "Well, you two losers are alive." "Yeah, well, your plan on killing each other is a failure. Now put that emerald back where it belongs."

Knuckles jumped, trying to get to the Master Emerald but got hit by something blue, "What? Is that-?" "Yes." Eggman smiled as the robot landed, revealed to be another Sonic copy.

"Meet Mecha Sonic, my newest invention!" Its body is built of dark blue metal, with light blue-colored metal on its belly and muzzle. Its head has metal fins designed like Sonic's quills.

And a pair of triangular "ears" Mecha Sonic's feet are red-colored with a white stripe in the middle, resembling Sonic's shoes. It also has a horizontal optic sensor as eyes.

Mecha Sonic looked at Sonic, "So, you're the original. Such a disappointment." "Because I'm on the opposite side?" Mecha Sonic's eye blink, "Exactly, you could have helped us in the Robotnik Empire." "By becoming a puppet? No thanks. I prefer who I am now!"

"Mecha, we need to go!" Mecha bows to the command, "Roger, dr. Robotnik." Mecha shoot the ceiling, making a hole for their escape, "They're getting away!" "Don't worry. There's another way to get them!"

Knuckles raised his hands, "All right, Knux, go ahead!" He nodded, and he let Sonic follow him.

IceCap, Snow Mountain

Sally opened her eyes and saw she was in the snow, "Hey! What's going on?!" She tried to get up but wasn't strong enough, "Urgh!" She active her Ring-Blade, digging her way out.

She digs her out by slicing the snow into a hole she can fit. She continued cutting the snow until she saw the light, "Could it be?" She quickly digs until she is finally out of the snow, "Looks like I'm finally out."

She looked around the area around her, "Where's everyone? Tails! Sticks! Anyone!" She tried calling out, but no response, "Nicole, do you copy?" She tried calling her but saw the communicator broke.

She heard something coming out of the snow, "Eh?" "Urgh!" A mobian reached out of the snow, revealed to be Blaze, "Blaze, you all right?" "-Cough- I'm all right. Where are the others?"

"I don't know. I couldn't contact anyone since my communicator's broken." Blaze show her communicator is busted, "Same, we need to find a way to contact Nicole for help." Sally thinks of a plan.

"We could head to the extraction point that Nicole told us, but I don't know if the others could hold on." "Yeah, it's too risky."

Blaze noticed Eggman carrying Master Emerald with Mecha Sonic in the sky, "Up there!" Sally turned and saw it too, "Great, he seems to be towards the Death Egg."

"What should we do?" Sally clenched her fist, "Blaze, you go chase him." She was surprised, "What?! But what about the others?!" "I'll find them, go!"

She looked down, and she got no choice, "Make sure you found them alive." "I will." Blaze quickly used her Flame Boost to catch up with Eggman.

She saw snow blocking her path, "Time to use this!" She threw her fire into the snow, making it possible to push through.

Angel Island, Launch Base

Meanwhile, Eggman is driving the Egg Mobile to its destination until Orbot and Cubot are aroused in front of him, "Um, boss, we have a problem." "Big problem!" He closes his ears to Cubot's scream, "What problem? Can you see I'm busy getting this emerald to the Death Egg?"

"Well, someone is tailing us." "What?!" He looked at his camera for a view and saw Blaze chasing him, "That stubborn princess! Mecha Sonic, deal Blaze for me!"

Mecha Sonic's eye blink, "As you command." He turned his attention around to Blaze.

She continues running until she gets blasted away by something, "What?" It moves forward to reveal to be Mecha Sonic, "Are you another of the doctor's creations?" "That's right. I'm Mecha Sonic. The superior version of Robo Sonic." Mecha jump and perform his Spin Dash at Blaze.

She barely dodges it by moving her body to the right, "No matter how hard you are, you are going down." She shoots her fire at Mecha.

Mecha noticed the fires, "Activate Heat Shield." The shield is active, letting the flame be absorbed, "What?" Mecha flies forward and kicks Blaze away.

Blaze landed and punched back, "Impressive," Mecha turned and threw her into one of the supports, "but not good enough." She gets up to see the structure isn't stable. She then turned to Mecha, "We have to see about that."

She dashed forward and reached in with her flame fist, "That won't work." He actives his shield, but he doesn't notice Blaze's kick to the head. "Yaaahhh!" She then continues hitting Mecha faster, 'My speed isn't fast as Sonic, but...' She charged her Flame Blast and shot it at Mecha Sonic, 'I have my strength to make up for it.'

She jumped away from Mecha and saw he was getting up from the blast, "Commence Spin Dash: full power." He curled his body, charging for speed. "I hope I can do this!" She cloaks around herself in flames in high-speed twirls.

Both of them clashed with full force, "Come on!" Blaze continues twirling faster while Mecha up his speed by forcing his body to roll. They get pushed back by their power. While Blaze gets blown away to the floor, Mecha Sonic gets his body crashed into the support, crashing down upon him.

She gets up after the clash, 'Is he down?' She saw the Death Egg is about to blast off, "Mobius, I better- Urgh!" Just as she is about to move, she gets strangled by Mecha Sonic, "Your strategy is good, but I'm not the ant around here." "Urgh!"

She saw the Death Egg lift above its launchpad, "G-Get off me!" Blaze punched Mecha's face with her fire fist, but it didn't manage to flinch him, "It's not effective." Mecha prepared his fist to punch her, but a call interrupted him, "Mecha, where are you?"

"I'm at the launch pad with princess Blaze in my hands." "Forget about her! Sonic and Knuckles are nearing the Death Egg! Get back here at once!" Blaze was surprised to hear it, 'Sonic's up there?' "Very well."

He lets got Blaze by the throat, "You're lucky, but I will have him deal with you." "H-Him?" Mecha flies off to the Death Egg, leaving Blaze on the ground. While she took breaths, she was processing what Mecha said. "'I will have him deal with you' What does he mean by that?"

She heard giant footsteps behind him. She turned, and it was Robo Sonic but even gigantic, "Target founded." Blaze stood up for a fight, "Commence the deletion." He opens his hand, revealing its missile.

A/N: Mecha Sonic's design is the same one from the games, while Orbot and Cubot's designs aren't different from the ones we always see with the exception little silver accent. And boy, now I wonder if I regret putting those two in.
