"You're Sonic the Hedgehog!" The girl recognized him, making him sweatdrop, "Yeah, I am Sonic the Hedgehog. Nice to meet you." She grabbed his right hand and shook him violently, "Nice to meet you, too!"
One of the readers in the library came and told her to hush, "S-Sorry." He nodded and went back to reading, "You're all right? You were very excited to see me." She smiled, "How could I? After all, you were the one who defeated sir Naidu and destroyed his sword."
Sonic is nervous about this, "Do you want to talk?" "Of course. I wanted to know how you beat him even though you're new." He nodded, "I think we should clean the books first." She realized the mess, "R-Right, let's put it back first."
As Sonic helped the girl, he used the time to check the skill he got, 'I wonder that skill's description.' He opened the stats window again.

While reading, Sonic nearly tripped and dropped the books, "You're all right?" The girl asked, "Yeah, I'm fine." She smiled and focused back on the books. 'What is this skill? Why did it appear to me?'
[Both Gods tell you that they don't have an answer.]
'Great, thanks for the answer.' Sonic said in his thought sarcastically.
After ten minutes, they finally put all the books back where they had taken them, "Finally, it looks like we finish putting the books back where they belong." "Yeah, now, we should have a conversation."
Sonic looked around to see more people in the library, "Maybe we should talk outside the library. We don't want to interrupt their reading." "Good idea, and I know the place." She grabbed Sonic's hand and pulled him, "W-Woah!"

Besides the Books of Knowledge, Sonic and the girl drinking their tea from the drink truck, "Mmm! This tea is always good for relaxation." "Yeah, this tea is sweet."
Sonic continued to drink it, "So, it's nice to meet you, Sonic the Hedgehog." Sonic gulped and grinned at the formality, "No need to get formal. Just call me Sonic. And you are?" "Mine's Yuu, Sonic. It's nice to meet you. I want to thank you for standing up against that man."
"Is it because of his attitude?" "Yeah. Not only that, he always tried to embarrass his opponents he saw." Sonic nodded, "Does he target the A-Ranks?" She shook her head, "Every A-Rank either tries to stop him from continuing doing his thing or doesn't care and just leave."
"But you managed to teach him a lesson without being afraid of the consequences." Sonic understands her point, "So, his family is powerful?" He used his Third Eye for the truth.
[Third Eye (S): Active.]
"Yeah, every time an A-Rank targets him, he intimidates them by telling bad rumors about them." Sonic crossed his hands, "What will happen to me now?" "They're going to try to put some dirt on your reputation or send one of them to hunt you."
[She's telling the truth.]
Sonic took a breath, "Looks like I have to be careful, now." "Yeah." Then Sonic remembers something. "Right. Is there a reason that you wanted to meet me?" She nodded, "I need your help with something." Then the window appeared.
[New Mission: The Girl's Favor
Context: The girl wanted to ask for your help. Listen to her reason, and help her.]
"Sure, fire away." Sonic accepted her request, "Oh, thank you! I need some help with our exploration." "Exploration?" She nodded, "We have been looking for a labyrinth for a while, and we found a lead on Mined Stone. But there's a problem."
"A problem?" "Yeah, our budget is low, and we couldn't get help from the other Awakened. So, you're the only one that I can think help us." Sonic nodded, "I got it. So, where is it?" "Well, the lead is somewhere on Mined Stone, but that's the lead we got."
Sonic thinks about the situation, "So, the problem is the inside, right?" "Yeah, my skill isn't suited for combat and goes for my friend."
[She's telling the truth.]
"I see." 'She doesn't have a skill that is suited for combat?' He used the Third Eye to see her skills.

'She has an Inspection Eye?! Great, is she-?' He saw Yuu smiling with a cute face, "Are you looking at my skill?" He smiles, knowing he got caught, "Yes, I did. Did you use it on me, too?"
She nodded, "It's all right, already knew since your battle against sir Naidu." "Good to know. And you could see the description?" She nodded, "Some of the skills are new to me, and I know how you got them."
Sonic begins to sweat, "Don't tell anyone, all right?" "I won't. So, are you doing my favor?" Sonic wiped off his sweat, "Of course, I always help people in need." "All right, make sure to arrive at the Mined Stone at 6 pm. Don't be late." "Yeah."
She smiled at the response, "Great," She grabbed her tea and got off her seat, "see you tomorrow, all right?" "Got it." He watches her leaving the area, "So, what did you guys talk about?"
He was silent surprised, and turned around to see Tails and Sticks behind him, "How much you guys have you heard?" "Well, we heard a skill that you recognized, the talk of you beaten an A-Rank, and a favor."
Sonic sighed, "All right, I'll explain." Sonic explained to Tails and Sticks about sir Naidu's deeds and the favor from Yuu. "All right, that porky deserves to get his sword break!" "S-Sticks." Tails got surprised by Sticks' reaction, "-fake cough- Did you forget something?"
Tails remember it, "The favor?" "Yeah, we should help her." "But she isn't hiding something, right?" Sticks asked, "She isn't hiding anything while in our conversation. But whatever she is hiding, we asked her about it. She got to have a good reason for hiding it."
"So, we headed to that island before 6 pm?" Sonic nodded, "Yup, we headed to Mined Stone next evening before 6 pm." Tails smiled at this, "Is something wrong, Tails?" "Oh, I have an upgrade that would be great for this one."
"All right. We should head back." Sonic suggested, "Yeah, I need to finish the touches." "Well, I better train for this one." Sonic chuckled, "All right, let's go." They leave the library, and Sonic asks Tails, "Do you know how you guys got here?"
Sky Central, Sonic's Quarters

It's already started to become night, and Sonic lies on his bed, "Man, that training is so refreshing."
[Gods of Watcher couldn't forget how funny you embarrassed the gorilla you fought.]
Sonic sighed, 'Well, he deserves his own medicine for doing it again.' He smiled, remembering to humiliate him in front of everyone in the room.
[God of Truth is impressed by the strength you show.]
He looked at his right hand, 'Yeah, I did get stronger.' He got back up and decided to look at his stats window.

He decides to look at the new presents that had arrived. He pressed it and saw the message.

Then the cards appeared with the description on them.
[Sound Boom (B+): Everyone (including you) near 20 feet around you will feel a sound that will make their hearing stop working for 5 minutes.]
[Hear Protection (A): You will be immune to any sound wave attack or a screech, but you can still hear a typical sound.]
[Heal Factor (B-): Your injuries will recover, but it will cost your Mana. Consumption: 23 Mana.]
Sonic sweatdrop, 'Are you sure the system isn't damaged, guys?' He asked the gods.
[Both Gods say the system is running normally.]
He facepalmed, 'These skills... Why do these three have to be this high?' He decides to pick one of them rather than complain about it.
'Sound Boom sounds a bad idea to use commonly. While Heal Factor is not bad, the Mana Consumption is too high.' He looked at the second skill and found it helpful.
'I'll choose this one. No disagreement, right?' He asked them, and they said no. 'Good to know.' He grabbed the card and ripped it, gaining a new skill. 'Now for the other present.' He touched it, and the same message appeared.
[Congratulations, you have reached level 30. Three random skills will appear. You can only choose one of them.]
'All right, what skills are you showing to me now?' He asked, and the cards appeared with the description on them.
[Star Strike (B+): The Darkness can become a glittering light. The darker the area, the more powerful it is.]
[Dance Style (E+): You could use this style to fight enemies in a dancing style. This style will let you leap while moving.]
[Blood Anger (C-): If you see a friend or someone close to you in danger, the anger bursts in and destroys anyone who gets in the way. The longer you're using this skill, you will lose yourself.]
Sonic lost words on the description of the last skill, 'I'm not imagining this, aren't I?'
[Both Gods shook their heads.]
He immediately took the Star Strike's card and ripped it, getting its skill. Sonic sighed and looked into the window, 'It's a beautiful night, huh?' Then the mailbox blinked, 'Who sent a mail this late?'
He took a look at the mailbox and found a letter from Amy, "Amy." He immediately opens it and reads the letter.
Dear Sonic,
How are you, Sonic? Are you having a good time? Sorry for sending the letter very late. I couldn't sleep ever since I worked myself to help others. Anyway, tomorrow I'm going to have a vacation. And the location is Garden Island. My mother wanted me to rest for a week, and she thinks I'm overworked. So, if you're on that island, let's have some catching up to do, all right?
Sign, Amy Rose
He smiled after reading this, "Amy. If your mother tells you that you are overworked, take a break, all right?" He talks to himself, imagining himself talking to Amy.
[Both Gods are interested in your relationships with Amy.]
'Nope, you're not getting out of it from me.' He placed the letter on the table and headed to sleep, 'Tomorrow is a working day.' He closed his eyes as he was sleeping.
District 4, Tián Apoto

At the apartment (Tián Apoto). Emiko and Yokaze (in their pajamas) are sitting on their chair, thinking of the news, "Are you okay, my Queen?" "I'm fine, Yokaze. Relax about it." Yokaze saw Emiko shaken up by the news, "Hey, Alexa doesn't like you crying for something that wasn't your fault. My Queen, I- no, we're here if you need some company."
She wiped her tears, "You're right, Yokaze. You're right." She took something from her bag, a picture with Emiko, Yokaze, and Alexa on it, "Did everybody else knows about it?" Yokaze nodded, "We're about to say farewell to Alexa to the afterlife tomorrow. You're joining?"
"I don't think I can join. I have something in my mind that's had been nagging me." She then deducted Emiko's problem, "It's about that blue Mobian Hedgehog, right?" "Yeah. Who is he? And when did he Awakened?"
She smiled, "There's an answer to that." Emiko is interested in this, "Oh?" "Yeah, the information is on the internet that a certain blue Mobian Hedgehog protecting innocent lives and fought off Robotnik's robot." "Do you think they're connected?"
"It's possible. After all, you saw that video, right?" Emiko nodded. "But I was skeptical about the reality of it." "But what if the flash from yesterday night connected to that video?"
Emiko thinks of the puzzle and puts it together, "Then the blue hedgehog that I saw was..." "Sonic the Hedgehog."
Sky Central, Workshop

The following morning, Sonic heads to Tails' Workshop to meet him, "Tails, you're there?" He saw Meline there, "Oh, you're Sonic?" She asked, "Yeah, and you're Meline, right?" She got surprised by it, "H-How did you know who I am?"
"Tails told me about it. On how you wanted to help after you got forced to do the girls' work." "I see. Then you're not mad at me?" Sonic gets confused, "Why would I be mad at you? That wasn't your fault." She sighed in relief.
"Anyway, Tails told me there's an upgrade for me." "Ah, right. The upgrade finished last night." Sonic got nervous, "How long have Tails worked on that?" Meline chuckled while feeling anxious, "Maybe 7 hours? His eyes were tired."
Sonic sighed, "Right, the upgrade is in here." Meline shows Sonic the upgrade. He entered the workshop and saw the advancement in a new pair of shoes. The shoes have the same color as his regular ones, but the difference is gold on the back, the cuffs have a zipline, and black lines by the white lines.
"What are these shoes?" Meline smiled, "These shoes are MK1 Drifting Hi-Speed Shoes, or you could say Drifting Shoes for a better name." He looked at the shoes and chose to put them on.
Once he puts it on, he feels the weight of the shoes, "It feels heavier than my old ones. But I can't wait to test it out." "Right, these shoes are for drifting. The more you drift, you gain more speed from the shoes." Meline clarifies to uses of the Drifting Shoes.
"That's good, but where can I test it?" "You need help, mate?" They turned to see Antoine there, "Antoine, what are you doing here?" He smiled, "Tails told me that you need some help on testing that upgrade. So, Ah came here to help with that."
"That's great, but where are we going to test it?" Antoine smiled, knowing a specific island.
?, Mens Manipulation HQ

In an unknown location, the meeting has begun to review a mission. "I heard that the mission was a failure." A human wearing a black robe said, "That's right, Xün. What happened on that mission?" A woman wearing black and white makeup and a black robe questions him.
"How should I know? One moment the mission is going smoothly. The next you know, a Mobian came out of nowhere and stopped the kidnapping." Xün with long hair tied and wearing a Chinese outfit, "A Mobian?" The leader questions this.
"Yes, a blue hedgehog Mobian came and stopped the mission from completing." "A blue hedgehog Mobian?" A human wearing a white suit is interested in hearing it, "That's right. I haven't got any information yet. But my team is on it."
"No." The leader's words shocked five captains, "Leader, are you serious?" "I'm serious." He started to say his reason, "We need to check to see if this Mobian Awakened or not. Otherwise, things might get messy." "Messy? Right, the advantage."
"Correct, if this Mobian could defeat our members without being Awakened, we have a disadvantage." The woman started to smoke, and she spoke, "But what if this Mobian is Awakened?" "I will fight him. No matter whether Awakened or not. I must see the power of his."
"Well, you need to be careful. That speed is something I have never seen." The leader nodded, "Dismissed." The captains leave the room, leaving the leader alone in the room, "Who are you, Mobian?"
Grand Desert, Hot Canyons

Sonic looked and saw rocks around them, "So, this is the place for training my drift?" "Correcto, we have room for your speed and train your powers," Antoine said.
"Great, how much do I have left before 6 pm?" Antoine looked at his communicator and saw it was noon, "6 hours." "Great, enough time." Sonic stretched his arms and prepared his speed.
Sonic begins to run, making the sand blow, "That's some speed." Antoine noticed how fast Sonic had run.
Sonic ran a broken loop and jumped cliffs to cliffs. He landed and used his Boost to speed up. In the front, he saw a curved left path. "Perfect." As he gets closer, he starts to drift following the trail.
As he drifted, his shoes started to spark from the curve. When the path goes back to straight, Sonic feels a boost from his sneakers, "Woaahh!" He saw his legs moving faster AND his body too, "This... is... AMAZING!" He ran to the ramp and saw the clear view of the canyon, "Woohoo!"
Antoine is practicing his sword style while waiting for Sonic to come back. While practicing, he noticed a sandstorm coming toward him, "Mobius." He went behind a boulder to protect himself from it.
As the sandstorm gets closer, Antoine tries to stay in place as the wind becomes violent, "This wind...!" It begins to calm down, and Antoine sees Sonic's shadow through it, "Antoine, you're all right?" Sonic walked through the dust to see him behind a boulder.
"I'm fine. But could you please be careful with your speed next time?" Antoine dusted off his clothes, "Sorry." "So, did it work?" He nodded, "It works. My feet became faster by the drifting." He smiled, knowing the Drifting Shoe works.
"Great, we should head back to the Sky Central." Antoine suggested, "Actually, I wanted to stay for a while." Sonic said, confusing Antoine, "Is there something wrong?" "Yeah, I wanted to test my Awakened Skills."
"So, a practice?" "Right, now what time is it?" Antoine looked at the communicator, "It's 1 pm." "All right, tell me if it's 5 pm." "Sure, Sonic. I need some practice too."
Sonic nodded, and he went 10 feet away from Antoine. As he's enough away from Antoine, Sonic prepared his skill. 'Mana Creation.'
[Mana Creation (D): Active.]
His hand glow as his Mana depletes, 'All right, concentrate.' He imagines a buzzsaw that will cut an object in two but smash at a person. It begins to form as its sticks to his hand, "Yosh!" He threw it at a nearby bolder, splitting it into two.
[You created a new skill: Buzz Slash (B-). Buzz Slash (B-): An energy buzzsaw will be able to cut an object into two at high speed. But it will shatter like glass if used on somebody. Consumption: 9 Mana]
'Good. So, no one will die from this.' He looked at the rocks and tried to do something, "All right, Bullet Ball." He used the skill and threw at one of the rocks. He saw the rock smashed into pieces, "Let's keep going."
He used the same skill again and threw it into other rocks. Each time he threw, the ball changed its momentum. Antoine noticed Sonic smashing the rocks while practicing. "I hope he isn't pushing himself too hard."
After doing the same skill over 50 times, Sonic runs out of breath and sweats, 'Am I this tired?' Then the window appeared.
[Gods of Watcher told you that you used too many Mana. It puts your body into a damaged state.]
'All right, this is bad. I need a rest.' He sits down on a boulder and breath in the air, "You seem to be tired." He saw Antoine there, "Yeah, I'm tired. What time is it now?" "It's 4 pm."
"T-That long?!" "Yeah, your aim has gotten better as you continue to shoot the targets." They saw the rocks either missed or direct hit.
They were silent for a while, passing the time.
"So, you want to talk?" Sonic asked him, "Yeah, we need something to pass the time." Sonic agreed with him. "What was your life before you joined the Freedom Fighters?" "I was a knight-in-training years ago. My father trained me regularly after my mother passed away, but I don't hold a grudge against that."
"Really? And your father?" Antoine held on to his sword, "He's on retirement." "He's retired?" He nodded, "Doctor told me that he had psychological damage during one of his missions." "He didn't tell you what that mission is?"
"He didn't. He'd kept it silent as if that mission didn't exist." After answering it, they felt the silent atmosphere. "Anyway, that's enough about me. What's your relationship between you and Amy?" He asked in a teasing tone, causing Sonic to blush.
[The Gods are waiting for your answer.]
Sonic gulped before answering it, "She's my friend and penpals. We haven't interacted with each other in person for three years." Antoine couldn't help but smile at Sonic's nervousness, "And what about you and Bunnie? Are both of you together?"
"Blegh!" Sonic smiled at Antoine for the teasing. "Stop joking around my relationship with her!" "Sure. Sure."
[Both Gods are smiling during the conversation.]
"You're in love with Bunnie, right~?" Antoine sends out smoke from his head as his face becomes red. "Shut up." He said in a quiet voice as he's too shy to talk anymore.
Sonic laughed before taking a breath, "It's nice to talk to someone like this." Antoine couldn't help but say, "I agree with you there." "So, what time is it now?" He looked at the time in his communicator, "It's 5 pm. I'd say that we have enough time now."
"Yup." Sonic got up and stretched his arms, "My body has rest enough. Let's head back." "Yeah." Both of them quickly headed back to Sky Central.
Mined Stone, Cobble Dust

Sonic, Tails (with a yellow backpack), and Sticks arrived at Mined Stone, where they saw they were surrounded by machines (mining the stones), "Well, this place sure is welcoming." "It shouldn't be surprising. Mined Stone is famous for collecting stones and materials from mining."
"Why couldn't we take the Tornado to get to them?" Sticks asked while they were walking, "The airspace here isn't good. Since there is smoke from one of the digging sites and pollution from the machine." Tails said, "Where did you learn that?"
"From a guide." He showed them a guide called 'Floating Guides' in his right hand. "Well, a guide like that is worth keeping." Tails put it back in his yellow backpack, "What are the other things inside the backpack?" "Gadgets."
Sticks immediately shook her head, "Nope, I'm not touching those Gadgets." Sonic got confused, "But your boomerang is a gadget." "An upgrade, Sonic." Sticks corrected him, "There you guys are."
They turned to see Yuu wearing a black scientist cloak (with a pink button shirt underneath), black gloves, brown pants, and brown boots. "You guys are late by a second."
"Is that supposed to be a complaint?" Tails asked, "Oh, no. It wasn't. I was only telling the time." Sticks wasn't convinced by it, "Right. Anyway, wasn't your friend here?" "Oh, that's because-" "I'M UNLUCKY!"
They heard a teenager's voice screaming a word, "Was that-?" "My friend." She smiled, knowing it would happen.
They heard a commotion to their right. Once looked at it and saw a teenage boy with spiky black hair (wearing a black and white jacket, black pants, red sneakers, and a black bandana) running away from twenty mercenaries.
"OI, IS THAT YOUR FRIENDS, YUU?!" "Yeah, that's-" But he interrupted it, "NO TIME TO TALK. WE GOTTA RUN." "Why? Couldn't I just-?" Sonic was about to help but saw a bolt of yellow lightning hitting one of the mercenaries and someone's scream, "GET BACK HERE!" Sonic felt fear from that, "All right, I changed my mind. Let's get out of here."
"I agree." "Same." They quickly follow the boy to get away from the commotion.
Mined Stone, Copper Ored

Everyone (except Sonic) is tired after running a mile, "That.. was... tiring." The boy looked at Sonic and saw he was not tired, "W-Why i-isn't he tired?" "Because *huff* he's always running at full speed."
The boy looked at him, "You're lucky to have that speed." Sonic shrugged it off, "Maybe, but I don't count on luck every time." He smiled at Sonic's words.
Yuu took a deep breath before asking him, "Namono-Kun, what happened back there?" He sweatdrop, "Well, someone wanted to battle me. But when I rejected, that happened." He realized Sonic, Sticks, and Tails didn't know his name, "That's right, you haven't know my name, right?"
They nodded, "My name's Namono Yami. And yes, I'm a Japanese boy." "Right, I'm Sonic. And this is Sticks and Tails." "Hiya!" "Nice to meet you." Tails said politely, "Nice to meet you, too."
"Why did that person want to fight you?" Sonic asked him, "Well, I have an ability that can reflect and cancel any skills." 'Really?' Sonic used the Third Eye on him.

Sonic was surprised to see someone besides him has S-Rank Skills, "You're looking at his stats, aren't you?" Yuu asked him, "Yeah, I wondered about his skills." Sonic admitted to her, "So, what did you find out?" Tails asked him, "He had some unexpected skills that I never thought of."
Yami scratched his head, "Yeah, you could say my bad luck is my skill." "And your god?" Sonic asked him, "Sorry, but I can't tell you yet." "Understandable. So, where's the lead that you guys found?"
She pulled out a journal of searching, "Well, the lead on the labyrinth should be somewhere on Smelt Iron. But the path we take is about an hour." Sticks think of this, "Isn't there a shortcut?" "There is, but it's dangerous." Sonic smiled, "We should try it out. I would like to see it."
She sighed, "Well, if you insist. Follow me." "You got it." They follow Yuu to the shortcut to Smelt Iron. Once they arrived, they saw the shortcut was a mine, "So, this is the shortcut?"
"Yeah, the mine has dangerous structures, and Awakened will attack anyone insight." Sticks got confused, "Why?" Yami answered, "Well, I heard they wanted to get something rare from this island. So, they suggested that anyone must have it."
Tails sighed, "Well, we better be ready." "Yeah." They head into the mine, watching their surroundings.
Mined Stone, Undermined

In the Undermined, they saw its supporters' old and dusty rocks. "This mine hasn't been used for years." "Certainly."
"Be careful. If one supporter got taken down, the rocks collapse on top of us." Yami gets tripped by a rock on the ground, "You're all right?" Sonic reached out his hand, "I'm fine. I've always tripped." He grabbed it, and Sonic pulled him up.
As they continued deeper into the mine, they heard voices, "We're sneaking. We don't know if they're Awakened." Sonic whispered to them, and they nodded. They sneak more in-depth into the cave, trying not to make too much noise.
"We should attack more people." "Calm down, brother. We don't know if one of them had those magical gems." They heard a conversation as they got closer.
As they got close enough, they saw two Mobian skunks talking, "I shouldn't have known that we should have ignored the rumor." They noticed stuff around them, "Hey, I think it's real. Besides, we could sell this stuff for rings." "You're right, brother."
Sonic looked at his group, "So, they're thieves. Any ideas?" "Well, we could try to attack them accordingly." Tails suggested, "So, one of us had to be the bait."
"I was going to say other words than bait, but yes." Sonic gives an idea, "I had a plan." Sonic tells them the plan.
"So, two petty thieves are hiding in this lonely mine." They heard Sonic's voice and turned to see Sonic, Yami, and Yuu, "Mobian and humans, eh? We got a lucky catch."
"Lucky catch? It sounds like both of you are looking for something." Yami told them, "You're right, we're looking for those Cha-" "Brother!" The other skunk realized what he said and immediately covered his mouth, "A Chaos Emerald? You know nobody will be holding it publicly."
"I suppose you know who he is?" Yuu pointed to Sonic, "That blue blur, of course. We watched the news and the recording of it. But clearly, you haven't heard of us." "That's right." They walked forward as they prepared to do something.
They prepared for something, "You lookin' to scrap?" "Then get ready to crumble!" "Brace yourselves for-" "-ROUGH & TUMBLE!"
After the roll call, they saw Sonic was chuckling, "E-Eh?" "PFFFTTT!" Sonic tries to hold it back but can't hold it, "Oh, man! I wasn't ready for that!" "Are you laughing at our intro?!"
Sonic smiled and said, "Yes. It's way too funny!" "That's it! We're goin' to pound you!" "Yeah!" They saw Rough and Tumble coming toward them, and Sonic focused on it, "Game on!" Sonic dodges Rough's attack. While Yuu managed to dodge Tumble's fist, Yami got hit by it instead, "You're weak to do anything!"
"Maybe I am, but I won't know if I don't try." He punched him back with his right hand, and Tumble felt a pain in his nose, "That hurt!" Meanwhile, Sonic taunts Rough by moving around him when he begins to attack, "Stop moving around!" "All right, then I'll attack."
Sonic jumped close and kicked him in the head, "Urgh!" "Whoa!" He moves his other leg and kicks him in the noggin again.
"Uwaahh!" Tumble saw Rough getting pushed back, "Get away from him!" Sonic ducks from Tumble and jumps away to Yami and Yuu. "You're all right, brother?" "I'm fine."
Rough got back up but still felt the pain in his cheek, "You ready?" Sonic asked Yuu and Yami, "Yeah." Yami nodded, "Go!" Both of them charged to Rough and Tumble.
"Your toast!" "Haha!" Both charged toward each other, but Sonic smirked at the timing, "Now!" "Yeah." Yami and Yuu jumped away with Sonic, "What are they- Urgh!"
"Wha- Ahh!" Both get blown away by an energy blast, "What was that?" "Up here." They looked up to see Tails, "A kid? Heh, it's too easy." "Who says that I'm alone?" Suddenly, a copy of Tails started to appear.
They saw ten copies of him, "H-How is this kid doing this?" "He's a genius." Sonic said, "Thanks, Sonic." "Appreciated, Sonic!" The copies looked at Rough and Tumble seriously, "Uh, can we time out?" "No."
All of the copies immediately charge forward to an attack. When Rough tries to punch one of them, he gets hit by the other replica. Tumble tried it too, but Tails attacked him first.
"Should we help him?" Yami asked Sonic, "Not now. If I know my little buddy, he can pull it off." They saw one of the copies throw Dummy Rings at Tumble and Rough's heads, "Hey, stop throwing these rings!"
"Those are fakes!" Tumble gets shot in the back by Tails, "Gotcha!" Rough attack Tails, but his body disappeared, "What?" "Haaa!" Tails Spin Dash at Rough, flinging him into the stuff.
"This is easy." The copies landed, "You're open!" They saw Tumble in the air, "Stink Bomber!" He farts gas from his butt, creating a smoke.
"-cough- What is this smell?" The actual Tails reveals as he's tried to see the smoke and breathe. "Watch out!" One of the copies pushed him away as he got punched by Tumble. "Come here, brat!"
As Rough gets him, he gets blown away by a blue wind, "Rough!" He turned to see Yami closer and punched him in the nose. Sonic came to Spin Dash Tumble's chest, "Arghh!"
He gets pushed beside Rough, "You're heads are about to get a crush." "Yeah!" Both get up after getting attacked, "Do both of you will turn yourselves in?" "Never!"
"You shouldn't have said it. Now!" Then a bunch of stones came tumbling down on them, stopping them from getting up, "Urgh! What is this?!" "A trap for you thieves!" Sticks revealed cutting the rope with her boomerang, "Next time, try to hide harder."
After seven minutes, the Sky Police arrived to take in Rough and Tumble, "Thanks for your group help. We will be able to return the items to the original owners." "Yeah. But we're lucky to run into them." Sonic said, "Agreed, we were lucky." Yami agrees with him.
"You didn't seem wanted fame, huh?" The officer asked him, "Fame will weigh on you if you don't be careful. So, I don't care about those. Anyone who will give it to me, I'll always reject it." He smiled at Yami's words. "That's some good words." Tails compliment him, "Thanks."
"This isn't the end of this!" They heard Tumble shout in handcuff. "You and your brother will be sent to the same jail. So, be lucky."
"This cuffs might hold us." "But this isn't the end for-" "Rough & Tumble!" Sonic chuckled by it, while the others ignored it, "Now, come on. You're about to be transferred."
"Well, we should get back on the road." Sticks said, "Yeah, thanks for the help." "No problem." As Sonic's group left the area, they saw the light in the pathway.
Mined Stone, Smelt Iron

As they got out of the mine, they saw they were in a digging site for Iron called Smelt Iron. "Looks like we made it." "Yeah. So, where's the lead?" Yuu nodded, "Follow me." They follow Yuu to their lead on the labyrinth.
A/N: If you don't like this chapter, I felt the same. Sorry for being moody. I've been putting a lot of characters in the new chapter I've been working on. And I have an extra plate on updating the bios.
