Chapter 2 : Onwards to the High Seas

Sonic sighed after remembering that day, and after he woke up the next day he was greeted by a weird blue man scientist named Professor Von Schlemmer who is a resident of Windmill Village located in the Southern Isles. He also meets the scientist apprentice Rotor the Walrus who is from Walrus Island in the Frozen North Sea, and his as the scientist likes to call them guinea pigs Marine the Raccoon who speaks in a strong accent, and Sticks the Jungle Badger who as Rouge puts it a nutcase.
"Ah you're finally awake" a soft motherly voice said as Sonic looked over to see Vanille coming over with a tray of pineapples.
"Yeah I was wondering what to do now that we're stuck here. I mean we are in a new world with no idea what is out here" he said while eating a slice. This was some good pineapple
""Hmmmm" she hummed in agreement while eating a slice of her own then silence overtook with nothing but the seagulls and the waves crashing.
Sonic realized he never actually talked to Vanille or hell even Cream to which guilt begins to take form. He spends so much time running seeking new adventures that he never really talks to them, hell him and Tails never really talk unless on a mission. When they do hangout Tails likes to talk about his inventions to which Sonic always looks confused.
What is the point of all that freedom if you can't spend it with your buddies?
Sonic then vows to slow down once in a while to hangout with friends.
Although with the subject at hand he did notice that Cream began hugging him alot lately and not just a simple friend hug; it was the type that Amy or sometime Rouge when she feeling flirty would give him. Hell he caught Vanllie looking at him at times but he shook that thought off for now.
"Sooo I have a question" he tried starting a conversation " I haven't seen Cream's dad before what happened to him t-that is that okay with you?" he asked while strutting a bit at the end to which she looked down.
"No no it all right in fact your the only person to ask me that" she said before closing her eye
"Well where to start; Aki the Rabbit Cream's father was a bounty hunter born and raised in Soul Shore Zone. He started taking bounties at the age of fourteen after his parents died so he was on his own." She then looked up " We met at a moon festival after I bumped into him spilling my drink on him. We then talked the whole night and really hit it off. We then went on dates to which one ended up conceiving our baby girl."
Sonic whistle This guy sounds badass"
She chuckle "Anyway he went on a another before taking a break however this went wrong as the guy he was partner with backstab but it didn't matter anyway because he die as well" "When the new reached me a was heartbroken but I knew to be strong for Cream for the harsh world" she ended.
"Woah she is strong in her own way" Sonic thought
"What about you? What about your parents?" she asked
Sonic shrugged " Well I was born on June 23 on a island called Cocoa Island prior to my birth my father Jules and my uncle Charles both died in a plane crash and my mother Bernadette ended up dying giving birth." Vanillie covered her mouth in shock to which Sonic continued " The doctor then gave me away to two wonderful people on Green Seaside Island named Ebony the Cat and Old Pyjamas the Dog. They raised me to the best of their abilities even when I was a handful at times. Hehe you should looked at their faces when I first discover my speed at the age of five after I broke the sound barrier with one step and I would have been send flying if Ebony didn't catch me in time with her magic" Sonic smile at the memories but then frown
"The month after I turned eleven we were greeted by this scientist named Julian Kintobor who as you know Eggman looked like the friendliest guy ever who wanted to dig up to find some energy he detected. It turned out he was looking for the cyan chaos emerald that Old Lady Pyjamas had in a box. He then flipped like a switch when he did find it and burned the entire island to the ground with everyone except me." Sonic finally stopped, to which Vanille hugged him and he hugged back.
The door unlocked to see Schlemmer looking "Oh sorry hope I'm not interrupting anything but we all are going to King Dodon Pa of the Southern Isles to speak with you" they both nod and begin to head down stairs.
"Oh Sonic your awake" Amy ran and hugged like crazy
"Urg take it easy Amy"
"Alright everybody on the shuttle cracking daylight here Rotor start the engine"
"Aye Sir" and started it
"Hang on tight everyone this baby goes fast!" the crazy man said
"How fas-" Rouge didn't even finished as they blitz across the ocean
"AAAAHHHHHHH" they all screamed holding on for dear life…. While Schlemmer laugh like a maniac
Kingdom of Besaid, Southern Isles
In the royal palace alone sat a short tanuki who is currently thinking while watching the ocean crashing the shores.
This was King Dodon Pa, ruler of the Kingdom of Besaid and all of the Southern Isles.
While he was thinking, two of his guards came in.
"Excuse our intrusion sire but the professor has arrived by crashing at the front gates" one said causing him to sigh
"Of course he did very well to bring him to me" he said with a hand wave causing them to nod and go get the crazy bastard.
A few minutes later they arrived with the king and the others glaring at Schlemmer who was sweating bullets.
"I will lecture you later about crashing vehicles near the palace" he said frustrated " But for now we need to talk about your guests" while looking at the gang.
"Lay it on us your majesty how trouble are we in" Amy sadly said causing the King to stroke his chin
"Well as far as anyone in Spira knows you don't exist basically a alien to them which could lead to your arrest to other kingdoms however I have a propose to make" the King said
Cream raised her eyebrow " What do you have in mind mister?"
"Work for me as my mercenaries" he said simply Vanille gave him a look "Like pirates?"
"Yes but legally classified as one and you will be under my protection as well"
The group huddle together to talk things out
Sonic- "Well what do you guys think I mean I'm game but it does mean we have to travel on water" he shudder
Amy- " What choice do we have? We'll just be walking aimless and just be waiting to get killed I'm in"
Rouge- " It only logical to accept plus we are heroes so I'm in"
Cream- " I'm in, I want to help out this time!"
Vanille- "You guys will need someone to nurse you back to health despite not condoning violence I'm in"
Marine- "I want an adventure so I'm in"
Sticks- " The coconuts gods have told me to join you guys so I'm in" causing sweat drops from others
They all nodded and turn to the King and say
"We're in"
Somewhere
The Sol Empire, Kahuna Island
Blaze the Cat opened her eyes and she felt a familiar present. "It can't be can it" she whisper to herself " No it for certain that was Sonic the Hedgehog"
Somewhere North
Kingdom of Acorn, Northamer
Queen Alicia Acorn was writing letters to other kingdoms that her eldest son Eilas was assassinated by Ixis Naugus the royal wizard and put bounties on the Order of Ixis. She also put extra security around her and the fifteen-year-olds royal triplets Princess Sally,Princess Alicia II,and Princess Megan Acorn.
Somewhere South
Mustafar Island
On a volcano island with lava and magma exploding everywhere sat a base.
"So Ivo have permanently seal the rift it seems" a man said
His henchmen Rough and Tumble look at him " What are your commands sir should we take out the blue rat?" Rough asked making the man shake his head
"No we should lay low especially now that the eldest son of Acorn has been killed by Ixis. Chasing Sonic now will alert all the kingdoms and that will not be good " he stated making them nodded
"Although I do wonder why Ixis did that"
The figure bears a very strong resemblance to his prime counterpart, Dr. Eggman.
Like Eggman, the man is a rotund and burly human, his torso and head coming together in an egg-like shape. He possesses no visible neck, peach skin, a bald head, a bright red nose, and a very bushy mustache. He also has long, almost disproportionately thin arms and legs. Unlike Eggman, however, the man's mustache is gray.
For attire, the man wears a red jumpsuit with a metallic-looking vertical silver stripe going up the middle and black and yellow-striped boots with gray soles. He also wears an open black military-style jacket over his jumpsuit. This jacket possesses long coattails, a yellow stripe on the upper arms, yellow triangular markings on the chest areas that extend over the shoulders and down the back, big yellow cuffs with two points, and two round gray buttons on the lower front. In addition, he wears white gloves with a square marking on the tops, pointy blue sunglasses, and visor-styled goggles with gray frames and a green lens. By comparison, the coloration of the man's clothing appears to be a reversion of Eggman's.
This was Dr. Negan Kintobor or as others know him as Dr. Eggman Nega
"It's seems that deal from Dr. Starline may be agreed upon with how things are playing out"
A/N: Annnnd scene, how was it? As you can see I made Sally, Alicia II(Anti Sally), and Megan(Sally sister in law) triplets to spice it up a little. Sonic and Crew are now pirates! and it seems that Eggman Nega has finally arrived and it seems that he made a deal with Dr. Starline. Blaze has a sense for Sonic and will seek him out to find out why he's here. And finally for Ixis he now has all kingdoms on his ass. What will he do next?
