Part 1

Found

Sonic, Tom, Maddie, Tails and Knuckles started celebrating after the victory against Robotnik. Sonic hugged their friends after this exhuasting battle. Sonic enjoyed the warmth he got from his new friends, he didn't want to broke the hug forever, he wanted to be like this.

"Wow Sonic you were like a shining star! Your body just glowed like gold!" cheered Tails.

"You really are something hedgehog" commented Knuckles on his battle.

"Thanks" said Sonic hiding his blush. " It was really awesome, am I right? " he broke the hug and looked at Tom and Maddie, who smiled proudly at their son. Their blue son.

" You were really great pal!" petted his head Tom.

"My superhero!" grinnned and booped his nose Maddie. Sonic shared a laugh with them and hugged them. Then a noise came from Tails tracking device, Tails looked at it and confusion took over his face.

"What's up buddy? asked Sonic.

"My device picked up something not far from the crash, I don't know what it is, but I bet it's important."

"Then let's check it out." reacted Sonic and Tails led the way to the signal. After they arrived at the scene, they started searching for something that left behind. Sonic must be proud of his work, because scraps and metal parts were found only by the team. But not far from there G.U.N. was getting close and they had to hurry up now.

"Anybody found something?" asked Knuckles from the group.

"Nothing." replied Tails

"Still searching." said Sonic while scavenging through the debris.

"Didn't find anything." said Tom and Maddie.

"We have to hurry up they are close and we will not let them get it before us." said Tails.

Sonic was still at the rubbage looking for a specific item for 20 minutes, when his eyes caught a glowing device under a pile of grabbed it immediately and ran to his friends.

" I got it, let's get out of here." said Sonic and his friends hurried to him. He threw a ring which revealed their home, they jumped through it and landed safely on their home's floor.

" We made it, Wooohooo!" celebrated Tails with his friends. The others let out a sigh and sat down on the sofa where Ozzie was laying.

'' So what is this thing again? That we had to search through in the garbage?" asked Knuckles after he cleaned his fur. Sonic handed over to tails who observed it carefully. The device had a red glow on it and some switch on its side. He pressed it and showed numbers on its display: 0187474748794.274664646460. He turned on his tracker, copied those numbers, linked in his device and waited for the results.

'' These are coordinates, but I don't know for what, this Robotnik figure hides something for sure, and we have to stop him. ''

'' You got it pal.'' high fived the three Mobian.

'' And done, looks like this points to a secret facility on a distant island on the Pacific Ocean." explained Tails. Tom and Maddie were a little baffled by that, what does it have to do with Robotnik? They just got rid of him and now more mistery and surprise?

'' We have to go there and destroy it before it falls in the wrong hands." squeezed his fist Knuckles.

'' Let's go then.'' Sonic threw the ring and revelead their next destination, the distant island on the Pacific.

'' Sonic wait!" shouted Tom and Maddie before they jumped. Thye kneeled down and hugged Sonic.

'' Be careful, buddy."

'' I will be.'' releasing from the hug he joined the Mobians. '' You guys just rest while we are doing our stuff ok?" smiled back Sonic.

'' We will, thanks pal.'' with that the Mobians jumped through the ring and landed on the island. They are greeted by sand and a thick forest. If they wanted to find this 'thing', they needed to explore the island thoroughly. They had to look under the rocks or behind the trees .

'' Ok, first thing to do is separate, divide and conquer, if you see anything you call us on the comms, got it? explained Tails and handed over them the comms.

'' Break-o, break-o, can you hear me? '' turned on his communicator Sonic.

'' Break-o, break-o I can hear you.'' answered Tails, and both shared a laugh, expect Knuckles who couldn't turn on his communicator with his big fist on.

'' This foolish thing is broken, how does it work?! '' Knuckles tried to turn on, but he failed due to his massive hands.

'' Wait, I have an idea.'' Tails switched to a watxh instead of a phone and placed it his arm. Knuckles looked at it amusedly and patted the fox's back proudly.

'' Look at you inventer boy, keep up the good work." Tails laughed and they parted their ways. They went 3 different section on the island, Sonic took the North, Tails went West and Knuckles to the East.

Sonic

Sonic ran through the trees and water, but nothing was found. The only thing he found was two birds on a branch, other than that, nothing. He decided to rest a little bit and stopped at a field where the grass was soft like a pillow. He laid down and and let his thoughts filled his mind about the this journey. He breathed in the fresh air and let it out, he needed to focus, he needed to protect his friends at all costs. He watched the path before him and let out a sigh.

'' Gotta go fast.'' he said and took off. After a 3 hour searching he decided to check up on the others, so he turned on his communicator.

'' Guys, did you find anything? '' he asked. The answer came quickly.

'' Nope, just some rocks and trees, but some birds looked suspicious to me, like they are watching me. ''

'' I'm pretty sure they are harmless Knuckles, but thanks for the update. Tails? '' he turned on the other frequency.

'' Nothing interesting. It's like the an ordinary island, maybe those cooridinates were corrupted. Maybe it was a mistake to come here. '' replied Miles back a bit dissapointed. Sonic let out a sigh and looked through the horizon on the sky, maybe they are just wasting their time and there is nothing here, after every minute it seemed impossible to succed. He lowered the communicator and looked to the ground, maybe it was time to go home? Maybe. He decided to to sit down one of the rocks to rest a little bit. When he sat down, he sunk little lower and this made him shocked, he got up quickly and looked at the rook where he sat down. On the rock, there was a circular depression that appeared on the spot he sat down. A second later something moved from the rocks and a door appeared with a scanner on its side. Sonic was shocked that it was well hidden and he found it by accident. He swiftly turned on the communicator and called the team.

'' Guys! Guys! I found it, can you find me? '' Tails answered. '' Great work, Sonic, we are on our way, Knuckles do you know the way?'' Knuckles responded. '' I'm on my way.'' After 5 minutes everybody gathered where Sonic was. Tails looked at door and had a confused look on his face.

'' This will be interesting.'' He pulled out the glowing device and and showed to the scanner. Red lines went through the device and the metal door opened, which revealed stairs. The three looked at each other and decided to go in. Tails turned on the flash light and led the way. They went deeper and deeper, Tails was shivering from the cold and the darkness that surrounded them, he didn't like this place, he hated it, but they had to keep going no matter what happens. Sonic on the other hand, just followed Tails closely, he knew that Tails is gonna need protection against all enemies, he almost lost him in Russia, and he didnt't want to happen again. Knuckles who was behind the two, he was just bored, he wanted to smash enemies and take action rather than speak. After they reached the bottom of the stairs they looked around to find something, like turning on the lights or a button that would do something, They spotted a panel with a big red button on it, which was suspicious.

'' Should we press it? We don't know what will happen next.'' Tails had a point, but Sonic pressed it without hesitation. At first nothing happened, nothing moved or made a sound, just the chilling air flowed through the cave. Tails glared at him for not being cautious, Sonic just chuckled and waved at him.

'' We would have pressed it anyway, buddy. I mean it's not even working, can't you see?'' Tails just let it go, he knew he was right anyway, maybe the technology here is already busted? Who knows? His thoughts were interrupted by the warrior echidna who stepped forward and watched the dark voidness in front of him. Knuckles sensed a powerful being close to them, a powerful being with the power of chaos. After touching the Chaos Emerald, he was gifted with powers, such as identifying pure chaos power. He sensed it, he knew something is here and its dangerous, they need to be careful.

'' Knuckles, what's wrong? '' Tails worried about his new friend. He echidna glanced at the fox and saw his worried face. '' Something powerful is here, something that is more powerful…'' his last words were cut by a huge noise which fulfilled the hole cave with lights on it. Then the earth started moving under them and slowly a hole revealed. The three Mobian stepped back a little and watched something coming up from the surface. It was a chamber , with a scanner on it. When the earth stoppped moving and the team slowly stepped forward, being cautious. Sonic looked closely at the chamber, a glass door was in front of it, and he was sure he saw something in there, but the glasses were too humid to look through.

'' What do you think might be in it? '' asked Sonic looking at Tails.

'' Maybe a weapon? Or a robot? Blueprints? That guy is unpredictable. But I am sure it's not good.'' replied Tails.

'' Well I think you should have the honor to answer us that question.'' showed Sonic to Tails the scanner.

'' What?! No way! I don't even know what is inside there, what if it's a bomb and I activate it? You will be the one to do it with your speed you can run away from it.'' he handed the scanner to him and went back a little.

'' Fine, just because I am your friend and and Knuckles can't hold this thing.'' Sonic rolled his eyes and took the scanner.

'' My hands are built for fight not holding stupid things.'' showed off his biceps to the two. They rolled their eyes in annoyance but continued where they left off. Sonic reached the scanner, he knew that whatever is in that thing must be destroyed for the sake of humanity. He looked at the glowing device and put under the scanner. Red dots scanned the whole device and when it was finished then the glowing stopped. Sonic threw the device back to Tails, maybe it would be useful later. The glasses slowly opened, smoke came out of it and a dark shade were seen by the team. Everybody was in fightning stance, all eyes focused on shady thing in the smoke. Inch by inch the smoke was almost gone, Sonic stepped closer to see what it was, he waved away some smoke and after that, his eyes and mouth fell to the floor.

'' Oh my Chaos!'' it was another hedgehog, a black one with red strips on him and white fluff on his chest. He was on a metal table but shackled. The others were surprised too when they got a good look on him too. Sonic put his head on his chest to check if he has a heartbeat.

Thud…..thud…..thud…thud…...thud….thud.

He sighed a relief and looked at the others.

'' He is still alive and we need to free him from this prison, C'mon guys help me!'' he tried to take off the shackle by force but tripped in the process. Knuckles caught him and helped him up.

'' Look hedgehog, are you sure this is a good idea? I mean, he is not here by any accident? Maybe he is that powerful being that I sensed.'' pointed to the sleeping hedgehog. Sonic looked at him and all he felt was sorrow and fear. He finally meets a hedgehog like him, and he is kept in a prison who knows how long. His ears flattened and almost started crying, but he wiped off his tears and continued on freeing him.

'' Look at him and tell me that he deserves to be here. That maniac Robotnik kept him here I don't know how long, and this is what I was most afraid of, to see someone suffer and experimenting on like he's nothing. I won't leave him behind.'' he grabbed the shackle on the black hedgehog's right arm pulled, after a moment the shackle came off. '' And by the way, what would you do if one of your kind was laying here? Would you leave one of your kind behind in this awful place?'' asked him with dead serious eyes Sonic. The echidna looked down and thought about what he said, and he was right, he would not leave behind one of his kind, it would bring shame to his name and to his father. ''Yes, you are right, I was too blind to see it then, but now I know what to do.'' Knuckles took off the second one on the hedgehog's left arm and both off them took off all on his legs in no time. After all shackle came off Sonic gently put his arms under his back and slowly picked him up. He glanced at the sleeping hedgehog in his arms, and he was sure he saw a little smile on his face. This made him smile too, but his moment were ruined by some noise coming from the entrance. Something is coming. And they needed to leave now. Sonic looked at Tails and he knew what that meant. G.U.N was here.

'' Tails, open the portal, we are going home.'' Tails quickly threw a ring and opened a portal to Tom's and Maddie's house. They rushed through the portal and left behind that awful place forever.
