The Great War aftermath led to a Cold War. The Acorns led by Maximillian Nigel Acorn son of Alexander Acorn served during the Great War and wished not to see an another one signed a peace treaty with Aleena Bernadette hedgehog daughter of Aman-Rapi. Charles the hedgehog and his brother Jules the hedgehog friends of max who also served during the war help the two monarchs bring peace. During the rebuilding era Jules and Aleena fell in love and got married with Charles the best man and max officially it. After the rebuilding area Max later funds Charles robotics program and Jules adventure program.
Jules on an expedition to explore the world finds a down spacecraft. On board was julian ivo robotnik exiled from his home. Jules brought him to the Kingdom of Acorn where he was welcomed. In gratitude Julian swore allegiance to King Acorn and pledged to impart his knowledge to help the kingdom. Julian was later given the title Warlord a Warlord was charged with overseeing military.
During his time there he meets Naugus a wizard with his own plans. Julian planned to stage a coup and send his enemies to the Special zone a pocket zone that was created by the chaos force. Julian looking for a way to control the mobians found out about Charles Roboticizer. After finding about the Roboticizer he starts by staging multiple attacks which allows him to get rid of the generals. Causing disorder around the kingdom he unleashed the swat bots to round up the citizens capturing the kingdom in day. King Max was soon brought before Julian then demonstrated to King Max the roboticization process on several captured Mobians.
Approximatly ninety percent of the city's population was roboticized, while the rest managed to escape to the Great Forest. He then banished the king to the void and starts plans to invade Mobodoon. After hearing about Julian coup on the acorn kingdom Jules and Charles feeling guilty about their part in the coup leave to fight robotnik and free west side island. Once they left robotnik invades Christmas Island and roboticized each citizen but keep the wealthy around to help fund his polluted factories. Queen Aleena was forced to separate with her offspring after hearing a prophesy from the Oracle of Delphius.
Later the Islands then became the foothold from which he launched his efforts to unite all of the world under his banner as the Robotnik Empire. However his efforts also set the stage for his greatest opposition as several children who were victims of the siege united under the leadership and inspiration of Sonic and sally become the primary resistance to Robotnik's regime.
