Percy Jackson had faced many hardships in his life; he had sacrificed much in his life. His innocence, his childhood, his friends, even the person he first loved, decided to add pain to the already long list of his suffering. He just wanted peace in his life.

Right now he had everything he ever wanted. He was sitting in his living room, with his fiancé's feet resting on his lap, as he watched the sport.

He got the peace he wanted, only for two decades, but peace at least. He got a life without the interference of the gods. A house in the suburbs, with white picket fences, he got a steady job at the local community college. Now all he needed was his own family.

He looked towards his fiancé as she slept, resting her feet in his lap. Her hands resting upon her baby bump, she was pregnant 6 months, with their unborn daughter. Percy smiled, he would have the family he always wanted soon.

Third Person Pov

"PERCY," Piper screamed his name from the other room.

Percy hurried off to where he heard Piper shouting from. She was due any day now, and as she got closer to her delivery date, the more she got snappy. Percy loved her very much, but she was scaring him.

"What happened love?" Percy asked when he found her.

Piper was leaning against the wall holding her stomach. "My water broke," she said to him.

"Do you need me to get you to another one?" Percy asked with nothing but love in his voice.

"I'm having the baby right now Idiot." Piper screamed at him. She couldn't believe that the idiot thought getting her more water would help. She loved him with all her heart, but sometimes he really acted like his head was full of kelp. Though she loved how supportive he was during the entire pregnancy.

Piper knew she was unfair to him at many points in the last 9 months. But Percy never, thought less of her; he carried her to bed when she was tired. He washed her hair when she was tired, and he held her when she got overwhelmed with her emotions.

Percy gulped and screamed, "Oh my god… we are having the baby right now. RIGHT NOW… what if the baby suddenly falls down and gets dirty? Oh! I don't feel very good… I think I'm going to faint." He rambled and started feeling dizzy.

Piper wanted to strangle him; she was the one pregnant not him, and how did he think that the baby would just fall out? "The baby is not going to fall out, just get the phone and CALL THE HOSPITAL."

"Yes ma'am," Percy squeaked out. He dug out the mobile phone he had and called the hospital. He took Piper to their car when they had gathered the necessary things.

"Breathe in, and out honey. We will reach the hospital in time." Percy assured the woman he loved, excited for their new daughter to be born. Though he tried to comfort Piper, he looked as if he was about to go into shock himself.

"Yeah just drive faster; you are slower than the Aphrodite cabin deciding what to wear." She snapped at him. She felt her time between her contractions getting shorter.

Percy nodded and drove faster; he would like to deny it; but his fiancé scared the shit out of him sometimes. He would've just vapor traveled both of them to the hospital, but he didn't want to hurt their child in any way.

Percy and Piper made it to the hospital. The nurse took Piper to the room booked for them, while Percy filled out the form.

"You should relax more son, your daughter and fiancé are going to be just fine." A voice called out from behind him.

Percy turned to see his father, the great god of the seas, Poseidon standing there; with Aphrodite. He was shocked, to say the least, that their parents had come for the special occasion. But these two were always more attentive to their children.

Percy smiled, and hugged them, "I know, but that doesn't calm my nerves dad."

Aphrodite chuckled and replied, "Yes maybe this might, the goddess of childbirth is blessing this delivery herself, and even the goddess of marriage is giving her well wishes."

Percy looked shocked and confused, "Artemis and Hera? That's the last two goddesses I expected well wishes from."

Poseidon laughed and clapped Percy's shoulders.

"Sir Miss Piper is situated at the delivery room, she is waiting for you to come in." A nurse came by to get Percy. He nodded and followed her.

Percy reached Piper's bedside and immediately took her hand in his, "I'm here baby, I am with you." He told his fiancé, squeezing her hand.

Piper smiled and was about to kiss him when she suddenly screamed.

Line-Break

Piper leaned back at the hospital bed, barely conscious; she looked at Percy. He was jumping up & down in excitement looking at their child. Piper smiled, Percy was more than excited to have kids.
He was kind when she got mad, and fulfilled everything she wanted while being hormonal. He suffered through the mental abuse she gave him. He was the perfect partner anyone could hope for.

The nurse handed the baby to Percy, who nervously took the child from her. He looked at his daughter and his heart swelled up with love; this wasn't the kind of love he knew. He felt pride, to boast about his daughter to everyone. He knew that now, along with Piper, his daughter, too, would have him wrapped around her fingers.

He looked at her to see who she looked more like; she had brown hair like her mother. But her eyes were the same as his, sea-green; no one could be able to distinguish between the father's and daughter's eyes. She had his Mediterranean skin tone, too; he could also see the Cherokee facial structure present in her that she got from her mother.

He took the baby to Piper and showed her their child. Piper could see Percy in their daughter clearly. The little blob of flesh was the cutest child she had ever seen, and she knew that her daughter would have the hearts of boys, girls and every gender.

"She looks like you," Percy told her; he had not taken his eyes off their kid.

"She looks like us," Piper told him, and smiled. Percy looked at her and kissed her. He could not believe that they had their own family now. Something he wanted more than anything in life.
There was a knock at the door that disturbed the young parents. When the door opened it revealed Poseidon and Aphrodite standing there.

"Can I hold my granddaughter?" Aphrodite asked, jumping up and down.

"Here," Percy said, and handed his daughter to the goddess of love.

Aphrodite smiled, looking at her granddaughter. She had the looks that came from being a descendant of her lineage. The fact that Perseus could rival and beat Adonis in the matter of looks was also helpful.

"You have a name for her?" Aphrodite asked her daughter and Percy.

Percy smiled and looked back at Piper, "We have decided to name her Valerie and her middle name Silena after her aunt, Valerie Silena Jackson."

Aphrodite smiled at her granddaughter, teary-eyed, the one named after her late daughter. She could feel that Valerie had the charm of an Aphrodite kid in her, but she wasn't limited in that aspect. The girl had gotten her father's anger and skills, too. She would be feared even among the gods, "Valerie- Brave woman, a befitting name for the daughter of two of the fiercest demigods."

Piper and Percy smiled. Both of them had already agreed that their daughter would have a normal life, but she will also be trained. They had known what it was like to be thrust into the world of gods unprepared. That wasn't going to happen to their daughter; she was going to be ready for anything.

Poseidon took the child from Aphrodite, smiling. He looked at his granddaughter before chuckling, "She is as powerful as you when you were a child son, if not more. She would grow up to be extremely beautiful and powerful."

Percy nodded, and he could already feel the strong aura surrounding his daughter.

Soon Poseidon and Aphrodite left the family alone.

Line-Break 6 months later

It had been 6 months since Valerie had been born, and both Percy and Piper were too tired. They had to wake up in the middle of every night, to change her, or feed her. They loved the baby with all their heart, but they needed some time for themselves.

After spending an entire day playing with her, Percy and Piper fell asleep soon.

A baby's crying woke them up in the middle of the night. Piper groaned and looked at Percy; he was sleeping peacefully. Piper hated how he could sleep through everything.

She nudged him to wake him. When he still didn't respond she elbowed him in the ribs. Percy shot up like someone had insulted blue cookies. "What who is here, I'll kill them."

Piper laughed at his reaction, "Easy there big guy, nothing of the sorts. Valerie is crying, go take care of her."

Percy looked at her incredulously, "It's your turn Pipes, you know I took care of her last night." He groaned out loud.

Piper huffed, "I had to carry our child for 9 months, and suffer through it. You are seriously not complaining about looking after her for two nights in a row are you?" She snapped at him.

Percy hated how much power she had over him. He also hated that this girl could do what countless Immortals had tried to do and failed. She managed to scare him. Though, he loved her more for that. He could see that she was tired, and he didn't want to tire her any further.

Percy pressed a kiss at Piper's forehead and went to look after his daughter.

Percy returned and flopped down on the bed and looked at Piper tiredly. He wrapped his arms around her and nuzzled his face in her neck. Piper moaned from the sensation of his mouth on her neck.

"We need a vacation, just a week. But I don't trust any of the babysitters to look after our daughter." Piper said to him and ran her hands through his hair.

Percy's head shot up, "I know a babysitter we can trust."

Line-Break

Piper and Percy stood in front of a door arguing.

"Percy honey either you knock on the door, or I knock you," Piper smiled with fake sweetness.

Percy swore she was getting more disciplined ever since she had become a mom. He was turned on whenever she would get serious. He smirked at her angry face and leaned forward to kiss her.
He took a deep breath; he had reason to hesitate. He had not have any contact with his mother since he had left. No Iris message, no phone call, and now he is standing in front of her apartment with a fiancé and a little child.

He raised his hands and knocked on the door.

The door opened to reveal Sally Jackson standing in all her glory. Her eyes went wide when she looked at her son, who had gone missing for the last 7 years. She looked to see Piper standing with him, and in her hands was a baby. She turned to look at Percy incredulously.

"Surprise?" Percy said, but it sounded more like a question.

Sally broke out of her stupor and wrapped her hands around her son and pulled him in for a hug. She couldn't believe that he had come home after such a long time. She moved and hugged Piper carefully, so as to not hurt the child. She took the child from her and looked at Piper in question.

Piper smiled at Sally; she was like a mother to her. She cared for her and consoled her when the son of Jupiter had cheated on her. Sally had told Piper that someone much better was in her destiny; she had not believed it at that time. But now Piper looked at Percy, and seeing him smile, she realized that Sally was right all along.

"Sally Jackson Blofis, meet your granddaughter Valerie Silena Jackson." Piper introduced her daughter to her future mother-in law.

Sally smiled at Piper before sending a glare towards her son. "You have a lot to explain Perseus Jackson. Paul is home doing homework with Estelle, you have a lot to explain."

Percy gulped, he was barely surviving under one woman's glare, and now there are two. He followed his mother and fiancé inside the apartment.

"So you're telling me that you fell in love, got engaged, moved in together, and had a baby and didn't bothered to tell me any of that?" Sally asked angrily, and on her side, he could also see Paul playing with Valerie and sending a glare at Percy.

"Yes? Look mom I wanted to tell you, but I wasn't ready to return to my old life anytime soon." Percy explained himself to his mother.

"Alright I will make dinner for us, and I believe that Valerie will need her dinner too. Paul, come and help me honey," Sally said, moving towards the kitchen. Paul gave Valerie to Piper and followed Sally.

Piper started breastfeeding her daughter. That left Percy and Estelle.

Estelle turned to him, "So you're my brother, the son of a god?"

Percy smiled and answered, "Yes I am your older brother, and I used to play with you when you were younger. I am a son of Poseidon, the Greek god of seas."

Estelle smiled and nodded. Her mother had always told her about the world of gods.
"Why did you leave?" She asked him.

"I was going through a lot, I had just finished fighting two wars for the gods. I was cheated on, and betrayed by a close friend. Piper too felt the same and suffered the safe. We wanted to just go away and start a life of our own. That's why we hadn't come in contact with anyone for 7 years." Percy tried explaining to her.

"So are you going to leave again?" She asked him sadly. Percy understood her, he always wanted to have a sibling, and knew that she felt the shame.

Percy smiled and answered, "We have to go back home Stella, Piper's maternity leave is over, she would have to resume her job, and I would have to continue my job too. But we will visit frequently now, Valerie should get to know her aunt growing up."

Estelle smiled and started jumping up and down. She started rambling about future play dates, and Disney-world trips.

Percy looked at Piper; she was looking at him. 'I love you' she mouthed to him.

He mouthed back, 'I love you too.'

Both of them sighed, knowing that this was going to be one hell of a ride.
