Chapter 1: broken seal

Naruto was making his way to a training ground where he had gotten permission on using it as he wanted to practice the clone jutsu since he had still been unable to get the damn jutsu to work.

He had been able to master the other needed jutsu in order to pass the graduation test and he was very good at the written part of the test since he was able to read the book and remember most of the material Iruka droned on about. But for some reason, he had not been able to get this one jutsu.

"Why the hell is this jutsu needed in the graduation exam anyway? I get that it is useful but why won't they show me what the hell I need to do." he made it to the training ground and looked around at the open space that the training ground offered. In the center of the area was a post that had a rope tightly wrapped around it to allow the person using the ground to practice their physical attacks. Apart from that, there was a small pond to the side for what he assumed to be for some water jutsu practice.

He walked over to the post and sighed as he took off his jacket and tossed it to the side and leave him in only his black shirt. He was glad that he chose to wear his dark blue shorts since it was really hot today.

It was so hot that Hinata even took off her jacket. The girl that was always embarrassed about showing off any sign of her developing body, took off her jacket.

There were so many jealous stares toward her that she almost put it back on, but the idea of sweating to the point of passing out kept her from doing so.

He wiped his forehead since just standing in one spot was starting to make him sweat. Moving a bit away from the post before he got started with his practice.

The first thing he started with was his henge. He first turned into Hiruzen, then Iruka, Hashirama, Tobirama, and then Minato. He finished this as he smiled at how he was able to get his father down right.

He was already able to figure out that his father was the fourth Hokage a couple of years ago. He didn't know why he wasn't told about it since he felt that he deserved to know who his father was more than anyone else but after some thought, he figured that it might have been done as a way to protect him. But he was a little peeved that the old man would think that he would go around and blab it to everyone in the village and visitor that exists.

After he finished these thoughts he continued. He transformed into Anko Mitarashi, Ayame, Kurenai, and finally Kushina Uzumaki.

The last one always felt odd to him. He figured that she was his mother based on the last name but every time he transformed into her it always seemed like he was getting it wrong, despite him getting as many reference images to make sure the henge was perfect.

After he turned back to normal he shook his head before deciding to continue practice on the jutsu, so he chose to transform into everyone in the class. Once he was in their forms he tried to act like the person he was turned into. He was able to get most of them right but he thought it was funny when he mixed up the personalities of Hinata and Sakura. He held his stomach as he thought it was hilarious to imagine it.

Once he was sure that he got enough practice on that jutsu he started working on his replacement jutsu. On each of the training fields, there were a few items set up for this so Naruto just kept replacing himself with the items and found himself going in a big circle around the field. Once he did a full circuit around the field he nodded in satisfaction at how fast he was able to do it. But now it was the time to work on the jutsu that he was no good at. "Here we go."

He put his hands in a tiger seal as he focused his chakra on the jutsu. After a second he heard a faint shimmering and looked to his side to see the same result he has had with this jutsu for the past year. He grumbled at the sight of a pale deflated clone that slowly crumpled to the ground. He huffed before he dispelled it and tried again.

*poof*

Failed

"shimmer*

Failure

*poof*

Again

*shimmer*

Again

*poof*

Once more

*poof*

And again

Naruto grumbled as he continued to do the same jutsu over and over again. He tried his best to pull back as much chakra as he could, since he was told by Iruka that it requires a small amount of chakra to make it work. But no matter how much he tried, it was always too much.

After another failed attempt, he glared at the deflated clone, and his breathing became short and heavy as his anger was growing. Out of frustration, he kicked the clone, and his anger grew as he merely swung his foot through the clone and in the air. He fell on his back and glared at the sky. Once again, he jumped to his feet and flared his chakra.

In his anger, he decided to go the opposite way of what he was doing before. Instead of trying to put in as little amount of chakra as possible, he shoved all he could into the jutsu, not caring what happened

He slammed his hands together hard enough that the clap could be heard through the training field and put his fingers into the Tiger seal. A dome of chakra soon appeared around him and he kept expelling as much as he could, causing the dome to increase in size. "Grrrrrrrrrrr CLONE JUTSU!"

Deep inside the boy's mind was a large gate that had a seal tag in the center of it, that started to glow.

Behind the gate was a large red eye that opened up and looked at the bars that held it inside before it shifted to the back of the lock that held the tag

Suddenly, another seal over the tag appeared and began to pull on the beast's chakra, causing the lettering to glow red till it became an ocean blue. After a minute of this, the secondary seal shattered, sending a massive shockwave throughout the mind.

The owner of the red-eye, narrowed it for a second before it spoke. "Well, wonder what reaction she will have."

Back with Naruto, the dome of chakra then imploded, sending him flying. "WAAAAHHHH!"

*splash*

Naruto opened his eyes to see that he was underwater and figured that he was sent into the pond. Realizing that he was running out of air, he swam back to the surface and let out a gasp as he broke through. "*GAAASP* Ow! What the hell!" he noticed that his ears were ringing and his hearing was muffled since he could barely hear his own voice. He swam to the edge of the pond and pulled himself out. "Ok, I'm never doing that again." he clenched his eyes as his head was spinning and he laid on the ground till his head and body stopped feeling weird from the blast. After a few seconds, he pushed himself up to his feet. "I'm done for the -WOAH!" when he took a step, he found his leg caught on something and fell onto the ground again. "The world is telling me to end the day, too." as he pushed himself off the ground again, he couldn't help but think. 'My hearing must still be off cause my voice sounds different.'

As he took another step, he felt something around his ankles and looked down only to see that his shorts had fallen. He gave a small squeal as he quickly bent down and picked them up. As he held his shorts up, which for some reason no longer could be held around his waist for some reason, he noticed one major thing. His arm, which was a tan skin color last he saw, was now a very deep blue. This was such a shock that he let go of his shorts and tried to step back. But like before he tripped on them and fell back. When his back hit the ground, the back of his head hit it as well, but the odd thing was that it didn't feel like the back of his head impacted the ground and hurt a whole lot more than he thought it should.

He grabbed the back of his head, only to freeze when he felt that something was protruding from the top of it. Not only could he feel it on his hand, but he could feel it from the protrusions as well. He ran his hand on it and he thought that the shape of them was like thick tendrils that came out of his head and as his hand went over it, he could feel that there were smaller ones on the back of his neck as well that were moving up to just under the thicker ones on his head.

And he could feel from the tendrils as well

Not feeling them through his hands, he could feel his hands through the tendrils.

He spun his head around frantically in an attempt to see what they were. After a few failed attempts, his eyes landed back at the pond that he fell in before. He ran over to it, letting go of his shorts which almost immediately caused him to fall back down but he ignored it as he fell to his hands and knees before he crawled to the edge. Once he was at the edge, he looked over at the water and saw his reflection.

Thanks to the still water he was able to get a slightly distorted view of his face.

His features softened and looked far more feminine than they used to, he no longer had his whisker marks and his eye color was still blue but slightly dimmer, the shape of his eyes rounded out a tad, and his lips had become fuller. On his cheeks looked like he now had freckles that were just a slightly darker hue to his now blue skin. He no longer had his bright blonde spiky hair only to be replaced with what looked like very short tentacles, which he counted there were six swept back and now instead of the blonde eyebrows, it looked like he had eyebrows that were just skin marking the same color as the freckles. One odd thing he noticed was that he didn't have any ears on the side of his head anymore.

His eyes widened as he spoke out in shock. "By the goddess! What happened to me?!" Not noticing that he said an exclamation that he had never heard of before. It was then that he realized that his voice had changed pitch. His voice had become that of a young female.

He grasped his throat in shock and then he slowly looked down at his body. He moved his hand from his throat downward toward his chest which he now noticed had grown a good amount. Once his hand was on one of the mounds, his cheeks gained a slight violet hue as he blushed at the sensation. He jolted the hand away from what he now figured was a breast and his gaze lowered and didn't need to touch to know that his previous equipment had changed to its alternate.

He sat there with eyes wide open for a minute till his mind had grasped one of the things that could make sense to him.

He had become female

But female of what, she had no clue.

She pulled her shorts back on and pulled the tightening strings as much as she could to make them tight enough to stay on. "By the Goddess, what do I do?! And what am I?!" she paused as she had to question. "And why the hell am I saying 'by the goddess'?" She began to panic and ran her hands on her head trying to grip on the hair she no longer had. "What the hell am I going to do!?" She paced back and forth as she tried to think of what happened, what she is, why she turned into this, and why the hell was she a female.

It was then she thought about how this could be a genjutsu that was slapped on her and she brought up her hands into a hand sign. She focused on her chakra and for some reason, there was some sort of addition to what she knew was her chakra but she was more focused on dispelling it. She burst her chakra to try and break the genjutsu only to find herself being flung back into the pond. One thing she noticed was that the energy that came out of her had the signs of chakra but also something denser and seemed different from it. She wasn't sure how she could tell but she could distinguish the energies.

She got out of the water and was really getting tired of being flung into the pond. She looked down and blushed at the sight of her newly gained breasts being visible through her shirt since her blue skin was distinguishable from the black color. Not only was she embarrassed that she was exposed, but also frustrated that it turned out she wasn't in a genjutsu. "By the….oh come on!" She flopped down on the ground and for some reason, her mind took notice that the tendrils on her head, flexed down in accordance with the ground. She groaned as she thought about what else she could do, till something else came to mind.

She jumped to her feet, taking a second to realize that her sandals had fallen off at some point, but that wasn't important right now. She brought her hands up to a hand sign and called out "HENGE!" in a poof of smoke, she had turned back into her normal form. "Oh, By the- urgh! Thank kami." she moved to where she saw her sandals were and put them bacon before she went and grabbed her jacket.

Not caring she still had a lot of time left till her time in the training ground was up, she felt that she needed to get home. Not looking back, she ran as fast as she could back to her apartment.

She made it to her apartment and immediately locked the door and leaned against it as she slid to the ground. She let the henge go and was back to her female form of some weird blue-skinned creature. She lifted her hand and looked at it even noticing that her nails became longer. She sat there for a minute as she tried to think of what to do now but nothing came to mind since this was something no one experienced before.

"I see that the time to inform you is here."

Naruto looked up to see the Hokage standing in his dining room and from close examination, she could see that he wasn't that surprised about her appearance. "Jiji! What are you doing here?!"

Hiruzen took a breath as he moved over to one of the table seats. "I had hoped that I wouldn't have to tell you this until you were a little older, but it looks like the seal was broken unintentionally."

She was able to pick up the hidden message of him not wanting to tell her something else that he seemed to have already known. She got to her feet and stormed her way to him. "What seal!? What aren't you telling ME! WHAT AM I!?" she unleashed a flaming blue and white aura as several pieces of furniture suddenly gained the same aura and began to lift off the ground as she glared into the old man's eyes.

Hiruzen felt nervous at the sight since he was unsure how he should handle this. Seeing the anger in her eyes, he contemplated whether or not he should lie to her to appease her but the sight of her eyes becoming black pits, made him think otherwise. "Naruto, please calm down."

"Then tell me what you are hiding from me!" she brought her hands up before thrusting them down, sending the furniture flying into the walls.

Hiruzen looked at all the destroyed furniture and the new hole that appeared in the apartment leading to the outside, he took a breath and chose to answer. "The day you were born, there was a tragic event that took the lives of both of your parents. The attack of the Kyuubi. After the whole event, you were found close to your parents' bodies and I took you into my custody for a time as I tried to think about how best to hide your true nature. There are many in this village that would react poorly at the sight of you and there are those that would do unspeakable things to you so it was decided to hide you from everyone in the village, so I had created a seal that would keep you hidden from everyone till I deemed it the right time for you to know. Your mother had been hidden in a similar manner since she did not wish to be discovered by anyone sans your father and myself."

She knew that he was hiding a whole lot from her. 'He still won't tell me who my parents are! But from what he said, my mother was….just like this? But what is this?' narrowing her eyes, she spoke through her teeth. "What am I!"

Hiruzen took a breath and spoke. "You are from a race beyond our planet. You are an Asari."

This came out of my head when I was reading another Naruto Mass effect fic. And I immediately thought it was a dumb idea and I was like "why not see what others think about this dumb idea." so here it is.

In terms of gag fics, this isn't it but the idea is just…something.

And it is thanks to this fic that I realize, I like turning characters into other things. I turned Naruto into a bijuu, an angel, a supreme Kai, a cyborg, and an alien, I turned Ash into a Mewtwo, and I turned Danny phantom into a dragon.

Why do I like doing it, I don't know but I do. Though not all of my stories have that.
