Tomion Emberlynn Home first week of June many years later Danny Emberlynn 8th grade

"Come on Danny I'm sure you will find something to do for the summer" giggle Emberlynn. Walking out of her room down to the kitchen she kisses her mom cheek making her laugh.

"Morning Danny" Elena giggles. Seeing this has been a routine for the two since they been children and now growing to be teenagers. Elena always checks her necklace to see if any changes happen.

Emberlynn putting her cell phone on speaker "Oh morning Elena hows the heat wave up there. Emberlynn says it's not so bad" ask Danny. Seeing that parts of the country is going through records heat waves even in Amity Park has gone through some record breaking.

"ARGH" Emberlynn groans "It's not so bad".

Elena rolls her eyes "Speak for yourself but you are your father's daughter he is always warmer than usual" sigh Elena. Wincing seeing the t.v with new record hits she groans hoping the hospital air conditioning will hold.

Danny chuckles "Well soon you will have the house to yourself music camp is in a few weeks for her" ask Danny.

"Yea can't wait" smile Emberlynn giggling. Grabbing some breakfast from the stove "Hey I'll talk to you later"

"Definitely later bye"

As Emberlynn hangs up the phone Vlad floats into the kitchen looking exhaust. Elena places a cup of coffee in front of him as he transforms back to normal he sighs and lets out a small yawn.

"Long night dad" ask Emberlynn.

Vlad nods and looks down to his coffee with a sigh "Yes. Krang manage to get part of the realms under his control. He has captured Technus a technology type ghost. He forced him creating ghost shields setting up a barricade. The ghost attacking are wasting their energy. I don't know what to do".

Emberlynn looks down as she is about to speak. Danny sent her a message reading it she smiles "Cheer up don't worry about Elena she will be fine. Knowing Vlad he will drop by unexpected like he always do for Elena" Emberlynn reads the message out loud and giggles.

Elena nods while Vlad rolls his eyes. "I like Daniel I do but how does he know" wonder Vlad out loud.

Emberlynn smiles and looks up to her dad "I don't know but I can always count on Danny to cheer me up or to listen to me". Elena giggles but sighs seeing Emberlynn speaking so loving about Danny. Vlad sighs and shakes his head wondering where did the years go.

Harvey Middle school Amity Park

Things have gotten strange and weird for Danny. Seeing people waving at him after the Sidney incident, Danny just kept it casual and polite which worked for him. But it also brought some unwanted attention from some people. Rebecca the most popular geek to nerd in all the school. A while back Sam Mason bringing Tucker and Mikey along with her trying to get Danny to join them or hang out with them.

For whatever reason why? Danny doesn't want to hang out with Tucker he spoke to him when he was in pre-k and once Tucker went to talk to Mikey his best friend. Danny just let it be knowing how some people just click well. Sam befriended Tucker and Mikey seeing Dash bumped into them while Rebecca said something to Dash. But what bothers Danny the most is Sam Mason.

This girl whenever she has a chance approaches him with Tucker or Mikey or by herself. Sometimes waiting by his locker which he began to carry more of his textbooks in his bag. But Danny roll his eyes more is when they started to ask questions about Emberlynn and how are they best friends. Shaking his head it wasn't a nice memory in sixth grade.

Flashback sixth grade

"Why do you three care what I do?" ask Danny. Giving the teacher a look making him quiet Danny turns to Sam. "I'm not in your business in fact you are. Sam sticks her nose into other people business. Made things worse now Rebecca has an army of geeks in school".

Students in the classroom groan and whine. The teacher sighs and nods knowing how true that is. When Sam did something Rebecca got a whole army of students ranging from normal to geeks telling them they have one common enemy the popular students. Who makes up the popular students the cheerleaders and jocks. Which started to affect Casper high ranks as well. Sam rolls her eyes and stands up glaring at Danny.

"Because she's scared of you. You can stop her" said Sam. Looking around the classroom seeing Valerie, Star nod while Paulina and Tiffany smile knowing that is true. Dale gives Kwan a thumbs up while Dash rolls his eyes and shrugs his shoulders.

Danny rolls his eyes "Why. Why me." everyone looks at Danny asking him why him. "I got more important stuff to do besides worrying about some petty student problems with everyone else. She is going to learn the hard way in life that's not how it works. She won't know what to do".

"That's very grown up of you Danny but Sam has a point" said the teacher. Sam rolls her eyes at the homeroom teacher seeing he agrees with her.

Danny chuckles "We are kids just sixth graders. Now isn't the time to move. I will wait until a fresh new start" Danny staring at the home room teacher nods to the hidden meaning that Danny said.

"Oh please. Fresh new start you are in the music room almost all day and after school playing the guitar or piano." Sam groans and rolls her eyes with a tone she gives Danny a narrow look who waves her off. "If you're practicing here at Harvey than at home you're on your cell phone talking to Emberlynn-"

"SLAM" Danny stood up glaring at Sam making her flinch. Everyone is staring at Danny's desk instead of Danny.

"What!" Danny took a deep breath. "I don't appreciate some goth who thinks everyone isn't treated equally , news flash we are all equals. We are all different in our own ways but you go out of your way to show you are different more unique. Standing out showing off" Danny narrows his eyes on Sam making her shrink "You remind me of my sister Jazz with her self righteous attitude towards everyone including the teachers".

The homeroom teacher chuckles and nods seeing that Danny knows what he is talking about. Having Jazz as a student but also seeing how much more of a handful she is. She is quite popular and even Rebecca is scared to go after her for what ever reason Jazz did to her.

"You never met Emberlynn or spoken to her so change that tone or I will" Danny's desk the wooden part fell to the floor into two pieces. "You don't know the first thing about me or my best friend". Students mouth drop wide in shock and Sam stood there shock. For the first time in her life she bitten more than she can chew.

"Sam just drop it" pleaded Tucker.

Mikey nods seeing what Danny did to the desk.

Sam turns to Tucker and Mikey as she is about to speak but Star groans getting everyone's attention. Leaning back in her seat even Paulina has been getting popular but Rebecca left a very bad impression and some girls just don't want to move against her.

"You want people who are unique and different who go out and do things." Star nods while Sam turns to her confuse. "I get it. But you made things far worse now so drop it before you make Danny an enemy also. Why do you care so much?".

"Yea" Paulina nods "Kwan here makes coding for video games and Dale does his own video editing we all have some talents. So why only Danny?" Paulina places her hands underneath her chin staring at Sam.

"I know why. Danny is real easy to look at. He's almost every girl fantasy tall, dark, cute" giggle Tiffany. The girls nods making Danny roll his eyes but Sam stumbles back trying to regain her composure which made Danny nod with his suspicious.

"So Sam has-" Valerie tried to speak and looking at both girls talked about this before.

"Knock it off" stated Danny. Grabbing his bag he walks towards the door out of the classroom but stop and gives Sam a glare "What makes me so special that you stick your nose into my life. But also talk badly of my best friend since I was five years old before I met anyone here in my life". Danny leaves the classroom while the home room teacher sighs seeing Danny took a pass to the library.

End of flashback.

When that incident happen everyone in school learn one thing. Not to mess with Danny Fenton. Rebecca kept an eye on him from a distance and Danny only joined one club in school. Most students know him because of the music room. He's a talented musician but also a genius that teachers say.

"Huh?" Danny notices something odd in his homeroom. Seeing Star looking defeated and tired, Paulina looks upset. Tiffany and Valerie are different Tiffany looks angry and Valerie has a scowl on her face. 'Wonder what is going on?' thought Danny.

Taking his seat he notices Mikey, Tucker and Sam laughing and walking in. As the three take their usual seats they see Dash, Kwan and Dale looking tired and upset. With the homeroom teacher looking at everyone.

"I know, I know Casper High Crows lost state against the Vultures" the jocks groan while the females whines. "Hey I was there when Brandon Draven played hopefully his son plays in Casper high".

Danny chuckles getting everyone attention. "D.J plays way too much on the guitar. I know his father he owns the only music store in town and Sofia is part time music teacher in Kat and Harvey when they need a sub".

Danny classmates blink at him while Sam rolls her eyes. Ever since that incident in sixth grade she kept a distance on Danny but continues to watches him. She checks on Fenton works projects in town hall. Seeing her parents putting stops on some projects while the mayor is pushed by two agents telling him to ignore the Masons.

Lunch time Library

Danny is walking into the library seeing this might be the last time he will be here as a student of Harvey he notices something from the corner of his eye. Walking down the area he notices some comics on the table. Smiling he has read many issues of The Specter and sadden to hear it was never completed.

"It's been a few years, Amorpho" chuckle Danny. Taking a seat in front of the ghost who materialize in front of him chuckling.

Amorpho stares at Danny 'He sensed me or saw me move something?'. Amorpho chuckles "Last time I saw you barely reached my knee if I had any knees but in a school yard brawl with Sidney."

"ARGH" Danny shakes his head "Still upset he ran away from me" taking a seat he looks at Amorpho with a serious look. "I assume this isn't a social visit?". Last time he saw Amorpho was when he gave his parents information on something. He tried asking his parents but they told him he was too young.

"Danny. You have a strong mind what good is that if the body can't keep up with it" Amorpho tips his hat watching Danny looking confuse.

"But I train with my mom every weekend. Dad and I go camping or fishing when we have the time. Hell I'm a flying squirrel of the squirrely scouts the highest rank of them all and I achieved it a few years ago. It's like the highest level of it ever since the Cream puff merge with the squirrely scouts. Only eight percent achieve that when they are sixteen or seventeen" Danny folds his arms wondering what is going.

"I achieved that rank when I was ten years old. The youngest in the state probably in the whole squirrely scouts record. Hell I got awards from politicians" Danny rolls his eyes wondering what more does he need to do.

Amorpho chuckles "Daniel understand this. You stumble onto something and I'm just a guide. Maybe this summer you need to reflect and train the body" Amorpho sees Danny looking down to his hand with a confuse look but laughs. "Roughen it up".

Danny heard that term coming from his aunt Alicia many times as he looks up Amorpho is gone. Danny sitting in the library thinks about his aunt Alicia as he got up he sees lunch time is over.

Fenton works LATER

"You want to spend the summer with your aunt Alicia?" Jack blinks at Danny nodding. "In Spittoon, Arkansas with no t.v with record breaking heat" Turning to Maddie who looks surprise to hear this, Jack turns back to Danny "I don't know if you know what you are getting yourself into, Danny".

"What is that suppose to mean?" ask Maddie. Glaring at Jack who starches his head wondering if he should have been more specific on explaining it to Danny. That his sister in law doesn't have much comfort of a home as they do.

"Mom, relax dad didn't mean it like that. Comfort of a home" Maddie nods seeing what Danny is getting at. "I just want to roughen up a bit maybe learn some more survival skills. Maybe pick up a thing or two from Aunt Alicia" ask Danny.

"Okay" Jack nods while Maddie looks surprise. She thought Jack would put up more of a fight but remembering the call from the other day. Vlad finally bought Axion and Emberlynn will be in music camp. Meaning Danny and Emberlynn won't spend the summer but will still go to Tomion for her birthday.

Jazz on the other side of the kitchen table raises an eye. Turning to Danny seeing him smile, Jazz roles her eyes and closes the book she is reading with a loud sigh.

"Really dad just like that. What's your angle trying to get the house to yourself with mom or more modifications" glared Jazz. Seeing the ops center is complete but also they have been working on the portal down stairs non stop.

"Danny wants to roughen it up." Jack nods his head "Alicia is just that person."

Maddie sighs and looks at Danny with a frown "Well you need to pack today only flight to Spittoon, Arkansas is tomorrow morning. The next one in August. We will pull you out of the remaining of the school year. Seeing it's only two more weeks" Maddie nods and grabs the house phone.

"Hope Alicia won't mind any extra help" chuckle Jack.

Maddie rolls her eyes "She doesn't and will never reject extra hands".

Evening Danny's room

"So tomorrow you will be leaving" whine Emberlynn.

Danny chuckles "yea sorry for short notice but wanted to try something different and I don't want to spend my summer here at home with Jazz at the house. Or some of my classmates bothering me" groan Danny. Shuttering thinking that Sam knocking on his door with Tucker and Mikey wanting him to hang out with them. "I'm safer in the middle of no where".

Emberlynn giggles. Danny has told her on what has been happening in the past few years and she can't blame him. She has told Danny everything as well and she has some friends but not close friends.

"Well be careful and bring an extra cell battery" order Emberlynn.

Danny groans "Arghh yes dear".

"That's better" giggle Emberlynn.

Harvey middle school

"Something up Sam?" Tucker looks at Sam who is looking around the room. Mikey turns around and looks around seeing almost everyone here there is two more weeks of school and being Thursday he can't wait for summer school to be ahead of his peers.

"Yea. Danny isn't in class. I didn't see him go to his locker I wanted to invite him to my house tomorrow night for the start of horror summer weekend us four" reply Sam. As she looks around Sam sees Danny isn't in class.

Star hearing this rolls her eyes and snorts. Getting the three attention Star grins and looks at Sam "I guess you don't have Jazz on social media. She posted yesterday Danny is heading to Spittoon, Arkansas to roughen up for the summer".

"Where?" blink Tucker. Wondering if the place is even real he looks at Mikey who is looking it up on his cell phone.

"His aunt Alicia lives there. By herself she's like some strange hermit living off the land" shrug Paulina.

"But Spittoon, Arkansas has record breaking heat waves and it's a town full of rednecks, natives and more." Mikey looks up from his cell phone to Tucker, Sam. "They are like a huge rural area not suburban like us" whine Mikey.

"Meaning Danny is working on a tan" giggle Tiffany.

Spittoon, Arkansas

Danny sighs happy his mother made arrangements he sees a amputee man with a bionic hand to his elbow and knee cap to foot escorting him from the airport to town. Having a nice conservation with the man "Danny she's over there".

Seeing Alicia smiling at Danny. "Adam thanks for the help on short notice. I guess I got lucky the flight was the same as yours". Adam Jonson a former soldier that he says moved to Spittoon, Arkansas for an easier life.

"It was no trouble Alicia in fact Danny is a smart kid we talk about some electronics and made a game of the periodic table" chuckle Adam. Alicia hearing this smiles and nods while Danny shrugs his shoulders.

"Well I promise you some help well hopefully Danny will deliver that help" said Alicia.

Adam nods "Need to check and buy some supplies". Alicia nods as they walk to some stores, Danny noticed a comic book store.

"I'll going to check in here aunt Alicia I won't be too long" said Danny. As he enters the store he walks around and nods at the person at the counter. Danny eyes widen to see some comics. "No way The Specter". Seeing a huge bin rack Danny begins to check it.

"The Specter. You actually read it?" the person behind the counter an old man raised an eye.

Danny nods "Yea. Lots of my teachers remember reading this comic and sadden it was never finished. Hell the creator of T.T comics who bought out the previous comics company says he would love to find the owner and revive it. But he disappeared" Danny shrug his shoulders and finds a first Edition of The Specter meets Banshee.

The owner at the counter smiles at Danny with a grin. Than Alicia walks in seeing Danny buying some comics while Adam raised an eye remembering that comic book long time ago.

"Alicia surprise to see you here?" the owner blinks at her making her laugh.

"Grabbing my nephew lets go Danny" Alicia sees Danny nod as he pays and exits the store Alicia turns to the owner with a smile.

"Kid is special he like my old comic book The Specter"

Alicia rolls her eyes and sighs making Adam chuckle.

Few days Later Morning Alicia home

Danny groans it's been a rough three days but it feels like it's been over a week. Slowly getting up he hears Alicia talking to Adam who thinks she is nuts. As Danny enters the kitchen which happens to connect to an upstairs loft.

"Morning" yawn Danny. Grabbing the cup of coffee he groans feeling his shoulder crack the adults turn to him seeing him groan but also the loud crack and pop coming from Danny's body.

"There's more to that today Danny" Alicia grins seeing Danny groaning as he sips the coffee he stops and turns to the door. When he did that a knock happen making Adam raise an eye.

"It's open Tom" Alicia calls out.

Danny sees a tall native American walking in wearing a leather jacket. Wondering how he isn't bother by the heat he notices everyone wearing long pants and short sleeves.

"Alicia morning. Adam morning" the person name Tommy turns to Danny nodding his head to him "Morning".

"Tom this is my nephew Danny he's staying with me during the summer helping me out" Alicia grins while Tom chuckles and shakes his head. Looking at Danny he gives the boy a sad look.

"Regretting it yet?" chuckle Tom.

Danny groans and drink his coffee. Getting a message from Emberlynn he walks outside and turns to his aunt "I won't be long" reply Danny. As he heads outside Tom grabs a cup and looks at the two?.

"You get services here?" ask Tom. Checking his cell phone seeing nothing he hears Alicia snort while Adam chuckle. "Ahh the teenager is a tech wiz" nodding his head while Adam raise an eye with a nod.

"Strange as well" Adam sees Alicia look at him while Tom sips his coffee and nods for him to continue. "Animals don't seem bothered by him it's like he has a calming nature to them. My horse goes to him and she hates everyone but me. Even you Tom".

"Hmm" Tom nods his head. He has seen the wild horses that Adam takes care and releases them but one horse different from the others. "And she goes to Danny?" seeing Adam nod while Alicia snorts.

"You and spiritual stuff I mean no disrespect but I get it enough from my sister" huff Alicia. Seeing Adam chuckling and filling his mug "I'll see you later after today's hunt at Tom's place".

Adam nods as he opens the door Danny walks in smiling.

LATER some where on Alicia property

"So aunt Alicia owns over five thousand acres that's almost eight miles" Danny casually walks behind Tom and Alicia. Seeing his aunt property connects to state game lands he notices other routes.

"Yea she sure does" chuckle Tom.

Alicia rolls her eyes "It would be more if that asshole banker would let me buy another five thousand acres but he won't let me unless I put down a quarter of it's worth as down payment" stopping she looks around thinking she heard something but Danny pats her shoulder points to a owl in the tree.

"Weird he should be asleep?" blink Danny. Seeing the owl awake and looking around.

Tom nods thinking the same thing. "We should go the other way owls are a bad omen in my people". As Danny looks towards the area he sees a black blur and narrows his eyes but feels safe for a reason.

"You're nephew has quite the eye but also how he moves" Tom sees Alicia look at him strangely as points to their tracks he points to Danny and seeing no tracks no sound nothing as he is causally walking through the forest. "Has he ever hunted before?".

"Not that I know? Just fishing with his father, Jack" answer Alicia.

Danny whistles and points to an elk. Tom and Alicia eyes widen but Danny whistle pointing to a larger Elk a larger bull on the other side. Tom mouth drop wide in shock he didn't see the elk behind the large trunk of the tree.

"Never hunted my ass" muttered Tom. Alicia nods as they got to the tree, Danny whistles getting their attention. Pointing to the boulder, Tom nods seeing where Danny is going with this. Alicia stares at the large rock.

'It's perfect cover and protection. Dam, Tom might be onto something' thought Alicia.

Both animals go down and Danny stands near the tree and watches the larger one slowly get up but drops down. Seeing both animals down he sighs in relief while Tom comes walks forward and kneels. Danny watching this sees this must be a way of life for him. Emberlynn has told him of the natives where she is from how different they are to the other towns folk.

"Now the messy part" Alicia pulls out a large knife making Danny confuse.

Alicia cabin night time

Danny is physically tired. Helping Tom carrying the larger bull Elk once they arrived at Adams ranch he had to help skin the animals, cut the meat in different portions but also learn what to use and what not to waste. Once that was done he had to help Adam brush the horses, help Alicia get water. Than help Tom chop firewood to start a fire for dinner than pick vegetables from the field.

With exhaustion hitting him. Danny took three bites of meat and ate the corn with some lettuce and carrots. He washed his plate and started to wash some of his clothes in the washing board near a water source. As he collapse on a hammock eyes closed. His eyes widen to hear the alarm going off.

"Dam" muttered Danny. Slowly getting up it's been over a week and half and Danny feels even more tired than ever. His muscles are screaming at him and he Emberlynn spoke briefly the other night. As he climbs down from the loft seeing Alicia talking to Tom.

"Morning" yawn Danny.

"Morning" said the two.

"So the source is confirmed gold at the edge of my property with the state game lands?" ask Alicia. Seeing this might be a way to gather some money to buy more of the land, Tom nods and smiles.

"Yes. A tribe member of mine found it in the river. He followed it and mapped it I checked the map and your property line right there. If you find any-" Tom sees Alicia nodding her head.

"I could get enough but also help you and your tribe to get some land back" answer Alicia. Turning to Danny seeing him listening she sighs but looks at the map and shakes her head "I can only do it at the end of August the last week. It will take us a day to get there".

Tom nods "By than the river will be low meaning less water better to look for gold".

"Gold hunting count me in" laugh Danny.

Alicia frowns seeing Danny isn't keeping up with them in the past week and half but Tom says give him some time while Adam agrees with him.

Clockwork Realm

"Hmm" watching Danny he closes the portal and turns to Wulf. "Keep your distance but be aware".

"(Of course)" grin Wulf. Slashing down creating a portal, Clockwork watches the portal close. As Thanatos floats into the room he turns to the clocks and frowns seeing them slowing down for some reason.

"What's going on?" ask Thanatos.

Clockwork sighs "Daniel is growing and learning but I fear he will not survive the portal incident without a near death to push him to go on. He has the right motivation but yet all his life he met with praise and strive to do better.". Opening the many time portals where teachers told Danny great job but he wanted to do more and better. Seeing the same with his parents but giving hints where to improve.

"HAHAHAHA" Thanatos laugh hearing this while Clockwork nods. "He didn't get lost. He still has that ambition that desire we just need to feed it more. That campfire he has needs to be a forest fire NO a raging ERUPTING VOLCANO OF YELLOW STONE". Thanatos grin and turns Obb walking into the room wondering if this is a bad time.

Clockwork shakes his head if Yellow stone were to erupt the map of the united states would need to be redrawn a few times over.

"Indeed" Lahkesis walks into the room and opens a portal. "I already stepped in" smile Lahkesis. Opening a time portal everyone wonders what did Lahkesis do but Clockwork nods to his sister antics.

Alicia cabin night time July third week

Danny is listening to Emberlynn on the cell "Just relax. Don't listen to that stupid camp council you are awesome playing the guitar and you have a great voice. It's like you said he has a sister there and will make sure she wins".

"Thanks Danny you always know when to help me or make me feel better" Emberlynn said.

"Anytime. I got to head back before they come looking for me" yawn Danny. Feeling more and more tired than usual and tonight he has been much more warmer than before while other times just cool.

"Don't push yourself. You been doing allot Danny. Please be careful" almost sounding like a plea.

"I will" whisper Danny. Closing the cell phone he walks back to Alicia cabin its been over four maybe five weeks he has been here. Everything hurts as he yawns he hears Alicia talking to Adam, Tom. Walking around the corner to the window he crouches and listens to the adults talk about him.

"Alicia you can't be serious to send him home in two weeks. I think for a city kid he's been doing good not great but good" Adam sips the tea. Placing the mug on the table he looks at Tom. Hoping he would back him up Adam gives Tom a more come on help me out here look.

Tom he sighs "Yes and no. But I will give him credit for fishing he even surprise you Alicia because of his father teaching him. I never seen a teenager leave behind a fish as offering for letting us fish there. He learn that from his father and respects the land". Tom nods as Alicia nods but this is where Tom sighs getting longer "But he lacks certain qualities strength, endurance, stamina. He has a survival instinct but not a survival instinct if something comes for his life".

"Dam" Adam groans and nods. "I know what you are saying but to send him packing up now. I mean it's a waste but he's your nephew" said Adam.

"I'll tell him by the end of the week" Alicia sighs and shakes his head. "He seems distracted or worried?" Alicia thinks out loud to two of her friends. As both of them turn to her nodding their heads.

"He talks about a young lady a best friend" said Tom. Wondering if that is the distraction he knows how boys his age get because he went through it but also sees it through his tribe but others.

"Hmm" Adam nods he has heard Danny speak to her on the phone a few times. "Emberlynn. He talks to her some mornings or nights. I don't think she is a distraction more like a source of determination". Adam thinks back when Danny talks to her "Those two talking it's like they share something so deep. Call me crazy but I have a sixth sense of this stuff" touching his amputee arm and leg.

"Maddie says they been best friends since they were five years old. This is their first summer apart" Alicia thinks that might be it. "They became fast of friends. Sending letters and soon texting calling and emailing." Tom nods agreeing with Alicia but Adam no he sees something else that the other don't.

Both adults turn to him while Adam glances to the window. "Sometimes we don't know the whole story. We need to keep pushing ourselves breaking our barriers and once we do that. Do it again and know why we are doing it".

"What's that suppose to mean?" blink Alicia.

Tom turns to the window and wince while Alicia looks confuse.

"Don't worry the kid just needs a push" chuckle Adam.

With Danny.

Walking around the forest he stops by a small river and looks up to the stars. Listening to the adults talking about him all his life. Danny met with people, teachers praising him telling him he did great. His parents, Elena and Vlad but also Emberlynn. As he got that recognition Danny kept going doing more pushing to do better but not this time.

'Did I really make a mistake coming here?' thought Danny. Letting out a long tired sigh he kneels down close to the water to see his face. As he rubs his eyes he blinks at his reflection seeing him looking different. Rubbing his eyes wondering if the light of the moon is playing tricks on him. Danny stares at the river seeing his black hair, blue eyes not white hair or green eyes.

'Must be really tired' groan Danny. Slowly getting up he walks back to the cabin seeing Alicia putting out the fire. "Goodnight aunt Alicia."

"Good night Danny"

That night. Is a night Danny will have a terrible dream turn into nightmare that will haunt his very soul. Something that he thought didn't happen but did. A memory long ago thinking it was dream coming back to haunt him once again. Or a warning if he can't do what he needs to do.

Danny's Night mare

Seeing he is in Emberlynn room but looking around he sees himself different as a kid when they first met. The older Danny blinks seeing two ghost coming from Emberlynn closet. Watching everything as he is older unable to move, unable to speak all he can do is watch.

"Is this the right room, Agony?"

"Yes it is, Dismay"

Danny blinks at two small green what he thinks are garden gnome. Wearing some type of robe's looking inside the room. Seeing Emberlynn looking scared, Danny frowns and looks at the two gnomes.

"Why is Emberlynn scared of you two?" frown Danny. Standing in front of Emberlynn she reaches for Danny and grabs his arm.

"No they are bad ghost" whisper Emberlynn. Shaking her head and holding Danny's arm "They sometimes come out of my closet and wake me up in the middle of night and scaring me". Closing her eyes shaking her head.

Danny hearing this blinks and shakes his head. Staring at the two small ghost "Why" the two small ghost laugh at Danny's shouting at them trying to act tough.

"Cute the kid is trying to be a hero again" laugh Agony.

"Come one Dismay lets get the job done. Krang wants him gone" smile Dismay.

Danny blinks while Emberlynn looks confuse as the two ghost charge towards Danny and Emberlynn. Agony pushes Emberlynn to the floor hitting her head knocking her out. "EMBERLYNN" Danny shouts her name as Agony picks up Danny and throws him into the closet.

Danny blinks at the purple door."...tick...tick...tick...tick..." hearing some type of ticking from a clock.

"Danny" Emberlynn stirs and looks up to see Danny being thrown into her closet but seeing purple and dark skies. She passes out the last thing she sees is Danny being thrown into another world.

The older Danny looks around Emberlynn room changing and hearing the tick..tick..tick..tick. Danny causally walks around the room and sees his younger self with two ghost that he knows. "Pandora, Frostbite" whisper the older Danny. Still looking around Danny sees everything being played.

"Forgive us Clockwork for dropping in like this. But Agony and Dismay brought Danny into the ghost zone. For what reason I don't know" said Pandora. Lahkesis hearing this got angry and soon everyone saw lightning and wind appear.

"Sister calm down" chuckle Clockwork. Turning to Danny who has his mouth open wide in shock "Now Danny that was really brave of you trying to protect Emberlynn. Why?" ask Clockwork.

Danny looks at Clockwork changing to a child to an adult. Shrugging his shoulders he looks down and thinks for a moment. But Lahkesis she flinches and takes a step back while Clockwork nods.

"Yes sister you feel it. A slight glimmer of the bond they are forming. In a way she is protecting him but she is also reaching out to Danny. Very interesting" said Clockwork. He has never seen this happen but even Lahkesis is shock herself.

"I didn't want to see Emberlynn scared. I wanted to help her" Danny tightens his fist and looks up to Clockwork nodding his head.

"How will you do it?" ask Lahkesis. Staring at Danny she feels the small thread of strings weave together with Emberlynn. Staring at Danny 'I never felt such a growing bond like this ever. This is truly amazing but also terrifying.' Lahkesis turns to Danny.

"I don't know maybe I'll invent something like my parents. They hunt bad ghost now and they want to help the good ghost. I over heard them talking yesterday with Vlad and Elena" smile Danny.

"Ghost hunters helping ghost" chuckle Frostbite. "Than we are allies Danny".

Clockwork nods. "Daniel. This will be confusing for you. But stick out your hand". Danny stuck his hand out and when Clockwork touches his hand he feels warmth coming from it. Blinking he sees a small cloth with letters in it of D.P written on it. But also sees a shiny stone of some sort on top of the cloth and soon it disappears from Danny's hand. Soon Danny feels an icy chill through his whole body than it started to burn.

"Protect her Daniel. Protect Ember" said Lahkesis. Danny looks up and nods seeing the ghost smiling at him tapping his head gently making Danny sleep. Clockwork with the snap of his fingers teleports Danny back to Emberlynn home.

The older Danny stares at Lahkesis with disbelief he heard everything their thoughts. Hers and Clockwork but right now Danny is staring at her while she is staring at him he wasn't there for this.

"It's growing and growing. Reach out for her you are her greatest source of strength reach for hers. Because if you don't no one will protect her from him, Krang" Lahkesis turns around while Danny reaches for Lahkesis. But Clockwork floats in front of Danny showing Danny a terrible future and a broken dead Ember.

Danny eyes snap open and quickly jumps out of the hammock on the kitchen floor. Breathing fast and hard he runs outside feeling the rain hitting him. As the night sky is illuminating with lightning, thunder roaring through the sky.

"AHHHH" Danny slams his hands onto the ground as thunder covers his screams. Shutting his eyes he shakes his head "It was real. All of it and he wants to hurt Emberlynn I WON'T LET THAT HAPPEN" roar Danny. As thunder continues to roar out in the night sky and lightning continues to light up the night sky.

Danny slowly stands up and something inside of him erupted. Feeling his heart pumping so fast Danny takes a deep breath and feels a icy chill in his body and soon a warm feeling everything that ache is gone.

Morning

Alicia doesn't need an alarm to get up most days. But as she got up beating her alarm by ten minutes she saw the fire on the stove on and coffee made. Wondering if Danny is up before her. She sees a note and raises an eye.

"What gotten into that boy?" turning around she notices the muddy bare foot prints in on the wood boards. Quickly changing she heads to Adam place seeing this will be the last week of chores Danny will do for him.

It didn't take Alicia long to get to Adam ranch. Being a ten minute drive or a thirty minute walk for Danny. She sees Adam drinking coffee at his porch. But he has a smile on his face making Alicia raise an eye..

"Danny's determination has erupted" Adam sips his drink while Alicia looks confuse as he points to Danny chopping wood with the axe she blinks and looks at the time seeing it's only half past seven. "Cows milked. Horses brushed. Water done. Animals feed Danny is all over the place".

Alicia blinks wondering what has gotten into her nephew but as Tom pulls into the drive way blinking at Danny chopping wood. He turns to Adam holding the cup of coffee up making Tom groan.

"Dam you were right. He needed more motivation something to push him. But this is different" Tom takes the cup while Adam nods. Alicia blinks at both men wondering what they are talking.

"You see it" said Adam. Tom nods. Alicia looks confuse at the two seeing what.

"See what?" demanded Alicia.

"This drive or push is not for himself but for a love one in danger. All that feelings all that energy he is pushing into his body." Tom shakes his head seeing or feeling a different teenager in front of him. A complete different person he has met a couple of weeks ago. "I have heard stories pass down from tribe warriors finding a new light to protect their loved ones. But Danny's it's like a deep fiery erupting volcano of fire and deep ice storm battling each other."

Adam nods "In the marines we call that adrenaline or sometimes life flashes before your eyes. You were in the army right Tom"

Tom nods."Yes I was served proudly and again with members of my tribe" smile Tom.

But Alicia rolls her eyes "Enough maybe he just got his second wind".

Both men shake their heads. "No he's on a mission" said Tom.

"What kind of mission?" ask Adam.

And they are right the only thing coming to Danny mind. 'PROTECT EMBERLYNN'. Swinging the axe down with such force he splits the wood and stump shocking the adults. For Alicia she blinks while looking at her two friends nodding their heads.
