All of Class 1-B sat in the class waiting for their next teacher to arrive. It was time for Foundational Hero Studies. A class that Izuku had personally been anticipating. Quite a lot, actually. He finally got a chance to prove to himself that his quirk was useful in a heroic situation. Granted, logically he knew that his quirk was powerful and incredibly versatile. But it's one thing to think about something, and another to know it.

His leg was rapidly bouncing up and down underneath his desk. Monoma shot him a slight glare over his shoulder from his seat in front of him. Izuku smiled sheepishly, and tried to stop.

Granted, his leg stopped bouncing. But he had to move, so his fingers started tapping on the desk. What if it went terribly? What if he couldn't impress the teacher with his quirk? What if they kicked him out because they figured out he didn't really belong here? Who was the teacher for this class anyway? The school was keeping it a big secret from the public. Who could it be that caused such a reaction? Wait… no. Izuku paled.

"Finally he stopped, muttering. Holy shit dude." Izuku's head snapped to Kamakiri.

Everyone was staring at him with wide eyes.

"Oh, uh… s-sorry everybody! Just got in my own head for a minute aha." Izuku blushed, his face still pale.

"Yeah, we could tell…" Rumi muttered.

The girl who sat next to him, Tokage, got a concerned look on her face, "You okay Wonder Boy? You look like you've seen a ghost." She grinned, "No offense, Yanagi."

The girl in question only shrugged in response.

Just as Izuku opened his mouth to respond, the door to the classroom burst open. Standing at the front of the classroom was the last person he wanted to see. He wanted to be wrong. But no, in front of the class dressed in his silver age costume was the Symbol of Peace.

All Might.

"I AM COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!" He declared.

His titanic form towered over all of the students in the classroom. Everyone was excited to see him. Everyone except for Izuku. He was having a panic attack. A big fake smile was plastered on All Might's face as he surveyed the class. His bright blue eyes scanned every student, until they landed on him. His eyes widened, although the smile didn't disappear from his face.

Izuku was really panicking now. What if he spoke to him?

Well it turns out his anxiety was unnecessary because All Might just moved on to the two people sitting behind him. The pale girl Reiko Yanagi and the Chinese foreign exchange student Hiryu Rin.

"THERE'S NO TIME TO DALLY TODAY, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT CLASS FOR YOUR HEROICS CAREER!" His ever present grin became determined, "TODAY WE WILL BE DOING BATTLE TRIALS!" The whole class cheered, and All Might's grin widened, "BUT IF YOU THINK THAT'S CHEERWORTHY, TRY THIS ON FOR SIZE!"

He pushed a button on a remote and the wall slid out, showing off twenty cases. Each of them was numbered. Izuku knew exactly what was in them, it was their hero costumes. His panic that had slowly been building throughout the entire lesson began to dwindle as his confidence reared its head.

"Go get changed and we'll reconvene in Ground Beta!" All Might ordered, his demeanor calmer but still bombastic.

Everyone quickly moved to the changing rooms. The rest of the class moved a lot faster than Izuku did ironically. He was walking at a more sedate pace, his chin rested on his hand as he thought. Why was All Might teaching here? It didn't make any sense to him. Maybe it was because of the injury he sustained? He was taking it easy and trying not to use up too much of his power. But something wasn't adding up. Something about this entire situation felt off.

He would just have to keep an eye out.

Izuku stepped into the locker room, all the boys in his class were quickly running to a changing booth. One boy had already finished putting his hero costume on, considering it was just a pair of black pants, sunglasses, and combat boots. His wide chest was covered in hair. Hell, most of Shishida's body was covered in hair. Izuku slid into one of the changing rooms right as Tsuburaba stepped out of the one next to it. He was dressed in a skin tight black shirt, brown padded pants, and he was throwing a light blue leather jacket over it.

He opened the suitcase and grinned, this was going to be his first time wearing his costume. One could think of it as his true debut as a hero. But he still had a long way to go before he got to that point.

"One thing at a time…" He muttered.

All Might overlooked Ground Beta. The boy that strangely developed a quirk was in Class 1-B. Seems he didn't take the cynical advice he had given. His grin widened in pride. Good. That meant he had the true soul of a hero.

Too bad that he had already given away One For All. Ah well, his successor was the right choice. Besides, the boy's quirk had awoken anyway. A multi-quirk much like the Todoroki boys Half-Cold Half-Hot. The quirk seemed to be constantly evolving considering there were four revisions to the specifics ever since he first registered it. It seemed to give him flight, elasticity, kinetic absorption, an accelerated healing factor, superhuman strength, and a superhuman reaction time bordering on sixth sense. Of course, most of those abilities were entirely useless if he couldn't find enough kinetic energy to store up and unleash.

The quirk itself reminded him heavily of One For All. And honestly he could understand why Aizawa didn't want to deal with the boy. It's almost like the boy was engineered to be a powerful hero.

That thought caused him to pause for a second. Could it be? No. It was a foolish thought to have. He dismissed it almost instantly.

He watched as the students began to file out of the door and into the control room. Now those were some pretty impressive costumes. Hopefully it could compliment their quirks. Eventually everyone was here except for Midoriya. What was taking the boy so long?

Just as he thought that, the boy came running out of the dark hallway. The boy was wearing a green jumpsuit, with a black trim that ran down the center of his chest and around his waist. His belt was studded with a silver metal. A black collar popped up out of the jump and framed his face. He had a mixture of a cocky smirk and a brilliant grin on his face. But his eyes told a different story. He was anxious.

Good. That was a good reaction to have, and even better to hide it under a smile. Most people don't look that much deeper if you're smiling and speak confidently enough. Just look like you have it figured out and most people will trust you and follow you to the ends of the Earth. This Midoriya kid was going to go far as a hero. Once again All Might was thankful that he ignored his advice and strode to be a hero despite the adversity against him.

"Shall we begin?" Everyone in the class got a grin on their face, which filled him with pride, "Good. Today we are doing Battle Training!"

One of the students raised their hand, one of the recommended students, Juzo Honenuki. His helmet covered his lipless face and sallow orange body armor was a nice touch. Very flashy.

"You have a question, Honenuki-shounen?"

"This looks like one of the arenas where the exams took place. Will there be similar events here?"

"Good question, Honenuki-shounen! But no. Today I'm having all of you move on to the next step. Indoor Anti-Personnel Battle Training!" He raised his finger, preparing to enter a lecture, "Villain battles are most commonly seen outdoors but statistically the most heinous villains are more likely to appear indoors. Between confinement, house arrest, and black market deals… in this hero-filled society of ours," he cleared his throat, "the cleverest villains out there lurk indoors!"

Everyone in the class was listening in rapt attention. Now for the creme de la creme.

"You'll now be split into Villain teams and Hero teams, and face off in two-on-two indoor battles!" He pulled out his notes and read them in front of the class, not noticing a few of them sweat drop at this, "Here's the deal! The Villains will be hiding a nuclear weapon in their hideout, and the Heroes have to go in and take care of it! The Heroes have a limited amount of time to either capture the Villains or secure the weapon. The Villains on the other hand, must either capture the Heroes, or protect the weapon until the time is up. Your battle partners will be decided by…" he pulled out a box that had ten pairs of letters in it, "DRAWING LOTS!"

No one objected. It seemed that they all understood the importance of being assigned randomly, or just figured that he knew what was best for the lesson. He walked around the class and had everyone draw a lot from the box. Once everyone had grouped up, it was when he was going to decide who were the Heroes, and who the Villains were.

A Team was Izuku Midoriya and Juzo Honenuki.

B Team was Kashiko Sekigai and Hiryu Rin.

C Team was Kosei Tsuburaba and Setsuna Tokage.

D Team was Rumi Usagiyama and Yosetsu Awase.

E Team was Pony Tsunotori and Jurota Shishida.

F Team was Kojiro Bondo and Togaru Kamakiri.

G Team was Yui Kodai and Neito Monoma.

H Team was Shihai Kuroiro and Sen Kaibara.

I Team was Reiko Yanagi and Manga Fukidashi.

J Team was Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu and Kinoko Komori.

This would be an interesting class, to be sure. All Might's grin widened with that thought.

A/N: Alrighty lads, I think that will do it for this chapter. Honestly it took me a while to figure out how exactly I wanted to approach the Battle Trials from 1-B's perspective. I think I've figured it out, but you are gonna have to wait until next chapter for that. Because I'm an evil mastermind. Or something like that lol. We got a little bit of All Might's POV in this chapter, too. I'm not sure if I did his character any justice. I guess I'll have to find out. Now my question for you, dear readers, would you like to see every students battle trial or just the ones linked to the important characters? Not that every student in the class isn't important, but some are going to get more of a focus in this story compared to others. Leave your thoughts in the reviews and I will act accordingly. As always, don't be afraid to ask questions. I will answer them if I can.

With all that said and done, I think that's it for this A/N! Like I've been saying, I have a ko-fi. Support me if you want to, it's up to you. I know my stories are kinda hot garbage, so I won't be upset if you don't. So long and goodnight!
