Dark Universe, World of Ruin, Location of Dark Garden. Two weeks before Dimensional Heroes: Game of Assassins…
The man, dressed in a black admiral uniform, walked through the halls of the criminal organization's main headquarters, unflinching at the sights of slaves sitting in cages or weapons of mass destruction being produced. At last, he arrived at his intended destination: the office/house of Dark Garden's leader, Negativity, the entrance flanked by two guards.
"Admiral Whirlpool, leader of Sector 18, codename "Dark Ocean", here to see Negativity." the now named admiral rattled off. The guards, without saying a word, lowered their weapons and opened the door, allowing Whirlpool to walk into the extravagant room, taking a brief note of a new addition: a tarp-covered cryogenic tube, it's occupant hidden from view. Looking around the room, he saw Negativity, his back turned.
"Negativity, sir." Whirlpool started, causing the man to turn around.
"Ah, Admiral, good to see you." Negativity welcomed the leader of Dark Ocean. "What brings you to my office. Come to see my latest decoration?" the man gestured to the cryo-tank.
"Not today, I'm afraid." Whirlpool stated. "I have a mission I'd like to request a Code: Eclipse for."
"Code: Eclipse?" Negativity asked. "So soon after we lost Dark Dungeon? We're spending mountains of resources trying to rebuild it and restructure the entire Organization under our new protocol. What could possibly be worth sending all of Dark Ocean out for?"
Admiral Whirlpool smirked as he pulled out a device that looked like a book, opening it up to reveal a hologram of a man's face.
"Andrew Ryan." Whirlpool started. "Born in the Past Universe, in a time before World War I. Moved to America in the World Year of 1919, worked and established his own company by the 1930's. At this point, he supposedly met someone from another world, who told him about the Multiverse. Ryan took a liking to it, so he convinced the unknown off-worlder to take him to another world. Ended up in the Ocean Universe, and this is where he gets an idea. An idea to build a city with a government without any sort of censorship or restrictions." the admiral read off.
"...Rapture." Negativity realized, raising his eyebrow in interest. "The rumored underwater city, with technology taken from other universes?"
"Bingo." Whirlpool confirmed. "After getting it built in 5 years, he opens up the city for anybody and everybody to live in. But, 10 years later, he cuts off communications and stops all travel in and out of Rapture. To this day, no one knows why, and the location of Rapture has been lost… until now."
"You know where it is?" Negativity asked.
"Yep. 63° 2' N, 29° 55' W." the admiral rattled off from memory. "That city had no restrictions on inventing and engineering. Just imagine what kind of tech could be down there, waiting for anyone to take. But a city as big as Rapture… it's gonna need a big group to fully sweep it."
"...Very well." Negativity agreed. "I'll allow for Code: Eclipse on this assignment. Get your branch together and prepare."
"Yes sir. I predict we'll be ready to ship out for Rapture in two weeks." Whirlpool saluted.
"Oh, and if you find anyone still alive down there… well, remember our policy." Negativity said.
"No witnesses." Whirlpool recited as he turned and walked out the door, eager to begin this new assignment.
