AU. What could've been if a certain scene had gone slightly differently.

A week into their honeymoon Georg and Maria learn more about their relationship.

just some ideas that were floating around in my head while i was watching 'The Sound of Music'

Maria and Georg are blissfully happy honeymooning in Paris when the Anschluss occurs. Suddenly thrown into danger, can Maria and Georg get back to their children in time to get their family to safety?

Georg wakes up on his first morning as Maria's husband.

A short fusion of the Ländler dance / proposal scene. AU from the moment Maria returns from the abbey. It seems that that unfinished Ländler dance still haunts the handsome Captain. Max is ever the cheeky old kid to interrupt the most tender moments. Finally the proposal becomes a heartwarming family affair. Even the pinecone falls in the right hands! R&R pls

The Von Trapp's are older, however Maria has not yet entered their lives; that is until the last of his children is leaving the house to encounter life's endeavours, therefore the children decide a new housekeeper is required in order to keep the house ship-shape, but when Maria arrives, she will change everything in the family, particularly in the Captain.

Georg's time is nearing, and he says his final goodbyes.

The Baroness Elsa Schraeder helps Maria in ways she most certainly did not expect.

A simple structure can open the door to so many possibilities between The Captain and Maria.

Georg knew one shouldn't marry a woman you did not love. He had searched his heart and found it held no love for Elsa. Deep inside he found the love he had tried to bury – thinking it was wrong. The more he searched his soul the more he realized that love was real. Now he had to search for her. And time was of the essence, he knew the Anschluss could happen at any moment.

Brigitta is interrupted during a pivotal conversation and the course of history is changed. A slight AU...

AU. Maria's thoughts as she leaves for the Abbey during the party, as well as the events that follow. Named after the Taylor Swift song, but not based on it.

Maria did not leave the villa after the incident with the Baroness, but leaves in the right time- the time 'until September'. She says goodbye, leaving one man feel broken. But fate makes them see each other again.

Let's start at the very beginning, but add two new characters.

Where are the boundaries between sleep and waking, between reality and imagination, between past and future? No matter. Maria and Georg are destined to find each other. "Two happy lovers have the eternal life of the Natural." Please leave me a review!

A series of unfortunate events lead to Maria and The Captain being rescued by a band of Gypsies for a night. If they had thought the circumstances leading up to them being rescued was bad the outcome of the night is worse. Or is it?

Caught unawares by a surprise Maria has been keeping for the right moment, Georg is presented with an opportunity he cannot resist. Unfortunately for him, not everything goes quite according to plan, but his wife is more than equal to the task. Pillow Talk-verse oneshot based on "Virtuosic" (ch. 26). Can be read as a standalone but benefits from proper context.

An in-progress AU. A burst of thunder sends an emotionally torn Maria back to the Von Trapps the night of the party.

The psalmist wrote that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, but Georg von Trapp has never been a good man. A moral one, but never good, and no follower of God. Certainly, everything that could have made him good, had been stripped away already. And then, he met her.

"Maria was back — and in a new dress. That struck Georg as odd." When Maria wore the new postulate's dress, she didn't know that it had its own story to tell.

Just some short little vignettes that I wrote up about what Elsa, Maria, and Georg were thinking during the party and beyond about what was happening between the three of them.
