A few minutes after Numbuh 1 had been recognized as a new member, he was leaving the room.
"Nigel, can we talk for a minute?" asked the alien that looked like a pile of vines as it walked over to him.
"What do you want… Lizzie?" asked Numbuh 1 while turning his head to look at the alien.
"How did you know?" she asked while turning into his ex-girlfriend.
"Had a feeling that something was up with you from the moment we met, and around the time we broke up all those tests started so I figured you were probably a member of the Galactic KND after hearing about it," said Numbuh 1.
"Didn't expect you to be one of the leaders though," he said.
"The tests actually started the moment we began to date, it was a test to see how loyal to the KND you were," said Lizzie.
"And you passed with flying colors," he said with a regretful expression.
"Great to hear, ma'am," said Numbuh 1 as he walked away.
