Hello guys! its been a bit, but i was stuck on how to post a new chapter. lol so like a dumbass, i posted the chapters in document manager, thinking jt would be posted online! HA! but i think i got it going and am now ready to post future chapters without delay!

There is something I wanna talk about, and that is the concerns and questions you may have. I just wanna be clear that all I do in this book has a reason. Some of you may have questions like

'why things aren't like the game?'

or

'why there is certainly things missing?'

.. I just wanna make it clear that I deliberately excluded some features that will be shown in the later chapters, make no mistake :).

NOW ON TO THE FAQS !!

DarkAres12:

I know it's an….unorthodox way to have the hunter die while the dream dissipates, but there is a reason for this, and it will be shown in the later chapters, I promise! :)

Memoryofvirtual:

the moon presence is taken and placed somewhere else because it did not make sense for me. I have played the game nonstop for YEARS, and having the moon presence at the end of the first seemed…out of place. The fight with only Gherman and hunter in my opinion should have been the only thing left. As for the moon presences..well…..presence…will be explained in the later chapters. I am adding a bit of a mix of my own, while not changing the lore of bloodborne in the slightest, just the timeliness of some stuff to where it makes a little more sense to people hopefully.

I want you to read the chapters and be like "OOOOHHHHHHHH THAT MAKES SO MUCH MORE SENSE!," or something along the lines of that lol.

joshua.isagar9596:

Thanks so much for liking the book! I hope it keeps your interest for a while! :D

Nantono:

indeed

Well I hope this answers everyone questions regarding the chapters and then some. If you have any other concerns, please feel free to DM me. It will take a couple of years to get in there but ill do it nonetheless! have a great day/evening

Diary entry #2

This is not the earth, this much I can confirm. Where I landed, where Gehrman sent me...is different. The animals here look slightly different than where my home was. the woods where I am has strange trees as well. I guess I should explore; find materials, and scout the land I am in.

Also, I seem to have all my gear with me, as well as my items being refilled such as all my 20 blood vials and quicksilver bullets, among other things consumable related. My hunter's garb and weapons are all in... pristine condition? I don't understand any of this. And... Gehrman's Burial blade is beside me...I don't know if this is a trick or not, but I'll find out sooner or later.

For now, I will just carry it with me and use it for the time being.

Diary end

(Music: Johannes bornlof- Burned Letters)

Jace is speechless. for hundreds of years..he thought he would have never gotten out. He had been trapped in that world for so long that he was beginning to forget how actual living trees looked like, or how grass feels!

Jace was overwhelmed for a moment, not knowing what to do...but laugh.

"heh...hehe...hehehAHAHAHA!

The hunter lets out a hardy laugh, not of insanity, but joy. However, his joyous laughter slowly died down, and was replaced with a solem expression as he realized something...

Jace would never see the doll again.

The only person he truly felt anything for while he was there in that...city, in that world...was gone. A minute or was carried out by the silence and ambience of the nature around him as these thoughts kept knawing at his souls as he realised how alone he was going to be.

'No!...I will meet her again...I Swear it! I will find a way!'

Jace declared mentally as he was suddenly slowly being filled with determination. She would have not want him to be like this, after all. she wpuld have berated him for it. With a more resolute and clear mindset, he gets ready to start his long adventure into this new world.

After checking out his gear and making sure it was okay, Jace takes in his surroundings, searching for any movement, waiting to hear any footsteps, but instead was greeted by the gentle sounds of the wind passing by his face and the soft rustle of the leaves and bushes by the wind. Satisfied, Jace begins to walk, but in which direction? He doesn't know, for everything around him is uncharted territory for the time being.

'This forest is beautiful. A sight for sore eyes' Jace thinks to himself as he traverses through the luscious, green forest. But all of that was cut short when a scream pierces the quiet atmosphere.

(Bloodborne Ost - Night unfurls)

Wasting no time, Jace promptly picks up his pace and heads to the scream ahead of him. As he gets closer, he sees a male, easily in his 20s, on the ground with cuts and bruises, pleading for his life as the thing with black skin and a mask with bandages as clothing begins to raise his machete-like weapon. Jace unbuckles his beast cutter and extends the crude weapon with an audible clank. The creature looked his way at hearing the noise, but it was too late as Jace quickstepped to him, cutter raised in the air, and swung down fast than the male and creature can react.

"Beast."

Was the last thing the creature heard as the weapon's non-serrated blade cleaved in middle the from the head down to the ground beneath the entity, causing the weapon to shatter the ground around them.

"There, that should do it."

Jace then turns to the man on the ground but is met with fear as the guy freaks out when they maintain eye contact.

"Ahh AHH! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME! I GOT A WIFE AND KIDS PLE-"

"Please stop screaming. I am not going to hurt you."

(Music: Vinland Saga - Small village)

Jace kneels to the injured man.

The man finally gets a good look at Jace. To the unknown male, Jace wore a dark leather trench with weird clothing he had never seen before. His head was covered with a cloth covering his nose and mouth with a strange hat with burned-off spikes at the end. The only he can see was the ocean eyes. The individual shivered at the sight of them. They were devoid of life, empty like the ocean as you swim deeper, an abyss of pain and sorrow.

'This person must have been through a lot'

Thought the hurt man.

"Here; Let me bandage you up."

The guy hesitated due to Jace's intimidating aura but accepts his help, nonetheless.

After a small moment of silence and the sound of the hunter wrapping up the man's wounds, the hurt individual breaks the silence.

"Can... Can you please tell me your name, sir?"

"...you can just call me hunter. And you? What is your name If I may ask?"

"Tommy...Tommy Bakersfield."

Jace nods in satisfaction at Tommy's response.

"Well Tommy, what are you doing in the forest on your own?"

Tommy then becomes a little embarrassed as he explains what he was doing.

"W-well, I was hunting for game in these woods to feed my family, but then a Hillichurl ambushed me and roughed me up. I-if it was for you, I wouldn't be sitting here."

"Hmm...Hilichurl...is that what this thing was?"

Tommy gives a small glance towards the cleaved hilichurl and grimaced at the gory sight

"Y-yea... wait, you don't what a hilichurl is?

"No, I don't unfortunately."

"They are everywhere here in Mondstadt! How do you not know about them?"

Tommy asks, shocked.

"I'm...not from around here. There. Finished. Your left leg is strained but not broken. Can you stand on it?"

"I think so."

Tommy tries to get up, but the pain is too immense

"Ah! Nope! I can't. Can you help me please?"

Jace flicks the weapon, causing it to compact to its shorter form, then puts away his bloody beast cutter on his back. He grabs Tommy by his arms and gets ready for a walk.

"Do you happen to know where a city is in... Mondstadt, was it?"

"Sure, just follow my directions and I'll guide ya there."

"Alright. Lead the way."

And with that Tommy and Jace walked to a nearby city, the city of Mondstadt.

2 hours later

It was an interesting walk for the good hunter. He and Tommy stopped a couple of times to rest due to his injuries and talked about his wife and daughter who I found out are named seraphim and crystal, fought off multiple hilichurls, and even came across a... female chef in the plains?... as weird as that was. But now they enjoy the comfortable silence, only taking in the sounds of nature.

'I don't know if I can find a way back home, but if possible...I can maybe settle here. Even though I can never unsee the horrors...can I ever move on?' Jace solemnly thought as he continues to carry Tommy to the city.

His train of thought was cut short when Tommy excitedly spoke up

"The bridge! And that's Mondstadt! We're nearly there!"

Jace looks ahead to the see bridge just as Tommy said. His eyes then traveled up to see the majestic buildings peeking over the wall the city of freedom that is called the city Mondstadt after the region itself.

"I must admit. It Is a beautiful place."

Jace says while softly chuckling.

"Heh, told ya."

Jace and Tommy made it to the bridge and are heading to the city gates.

Upon getting closer, 2 guards can be seen guarding the entrance. Their faces, now clearer, have fear and nervousness etched across them at the sight of the good hunter, but decreased slightly when they noticed Tommy, their local, in his arms and in hurt condition.

"Hey Marcus, Taylor. Can you guys help me to the doctor, please? I got ambushed on my way to hunt for some rabbits."

As they agreed and proceeded to grab Tommy off of Jace, they stopped and hesitated as they looked at the 6'5-foot hunter looking at them.

"No need to worry, I mean no harm."

Jace reassured as they literally quake in place. they nodded shakily and continued to help Tommy down. One of the guards called Marcus called for a stretcher and was soon greeted by one from another guard. As Tommy was being carried inside on the stretcher, he told them to please stop and beckoned Joe over.

"I never got to thank you, Hunter. Please, accept this as a token of my appreciation. Without you, I wouldn't be going home to my family at this moment. So, from the bottom of my heart...thank you."

Tommy reaches into his satchel to pull out a bag of what can only be guessed as this country's currency.

"Tommy, I appreciate the gesture, but I can't take this. This seems like too much."

"It's fine, really! Please won't you take it?"

Jace sighs as he grabs the heft bag of currency and attaches it to his hip belt.
He then performs the hunter's salute with utmost grace.

"I thank you Tommy Bakersfield. May we cross paths once more."

Jace says, having a genuine smile under his mask.

"Likewise, Hunter."

As they are taking Tommy away to see a doctor, he put in a good word for Jace to enter the town, assuring them to he is not hostile. They relented for a minute, but after seeing Jace Carrie Tommy all the way to the city, they conclude to let him in.

"Thank you, gentlemen, may you have a wonderful night."

(Vinland Ost - Father and son)

Jace thanked the 2 while heading inside. The 2 guards shuddered at the weapons the hunter had in his back, imagine what it can do to hilichurls, or worse: human flesh. After heading inside, Jace asked for directions to an inn from various locals, only for them to shy away from the hunter, or straight up ignore him due to his intimidating stature and clothing.

'What's with these people?' Jace annoyingly ponders.'
after a few minutes of asking around, he finally had a kind elder show him the directions to the inn. Seeing the stairs he was told to walk, he proceeded to go up, slowly reaching his destination.

Once he walked over the last set of stairs, the inn is facing straight across from him.

'So, this is the in... looks very medieval-like.'

within a moment later, he steps into the inn.

As he walks in, all conversations around the bar stop, and eyes turn to him, but it doesn't matter. Jace walks to the bartender who was clearly nervous but cleared his throat and wiped his sweat from his forehead.

"H-hello sir, welcome to Angel's Share Tavern! How can I help... you...?"

"I'd like a room for 5 days, and 5 nights please."

Jace's mannered words have calmed the bartender but still looks incredibly nervous as he just noticed the dried blood on his trench coat.

"C-certainly sir. That would be 100 mora please."

Jace unbuckled the pouch from his hip belt and gives the man the appropriate mora. The hunter counted the mora before he got to the inn and counted an even 500.

'This was mighty generous for Tommy to give me this much. I need to find a way to sustain myself, however. I'm sure there are bounties in this city as well as quests to complete.'

The bartender finishes counting the mora and grabs a key from under the county to give to Jace.

"T-this is your key to the room you w-will be staying for the night. We have breakfast at 7 am, lunch at 1 pm, and dinner at 8 pm. If you'd like, you can leave your coat outside, and our inn cleaners will promptly wash your coat as well as other clothes that you would like washed as well. We have an extra set of clothing in your room for you to wear while we wash yours. Have a g-great night!"

Jace takes the keys off the quivering hands of the barkeep and gives thanks to the man before looking down at his keys. He reads a small dog-tag-like item attached to the key that contains the room number and makes his way up the 2nd floor, all the while pretending to not notice the strange individual, he sensed that had been observing him the moment he set foot in the inn. Not wanting to cause trouble since he just got to the city, he decides to wait and see the end results, unsure of their intentions.

'Hmm..seems like I already might have a problem in the future.' He thinks while making it to his door and sleeps the night away.

Meanwhile, at a certain table at the corner of the inn, the mysterious person is sitting nonchalantly with a wine cup, dangling between their fingers.

"Hmmm...what an interesting person you are...just who are you?"
