I had rewrote the story (not completely)
Summary: I had always wondered what it would be like if Natsu remembers his past and if he did would he change as a person or would he stay the same, did he go through a lot of pain and hardships before he died or did he die happily. Sorry for those who love the happy and carefree Natsu but in this story he's more serious. Of course, he will still be his usual self but with a twist. WARNING THERE'S CURSING

But for those of you who didn't please, please, please watch ALL of Fairy Tail before reading because there will be parts in this story that will reference the show, and I don't want you to not understand what's happening if you haven't watched the show.
(It don't really matter if you do or not, but I would prefer you all to)

The members of Fairy Tail found themselves once again facing a formidable opponent, causing them all to hide inside the guild hall. They all laid spread out across the floor and tables trying to keep away from the chaos the outside threaten to bring inside as they come up with ideas how they can defeat the once ally.
It's noon and the sun was beating down on the town relentlessly, even with the ac cranked up everyone could still feel the heat.
"Ahhh," Gray stood up suddenly one foot on the table "why is it so damn hot!" he yelled pushing out more of his magic to make it cooler inside the guild for him and his friends. For once Gray only wearing is briefs underwear isn't so weird anymore because most of the guild was down to their underwear as well, sipping on iced lemonade Mira handed out.
"You yelling isn't helping!" Gajeel yelled at the ice make wizard.
"I know." Gray said in defeat as he sank back down into his chair next to Juvia.
"Natsu, and Lucy still haven't showed up yet?" Erza asked as she looked around for her teammates.
"Not yet. I'm sure they will show up later." Mira replied giving her another cup of lemonade.
"He's probably raiding her fridge again while she's sleeping." Gray laughed.
"Or Lucy thinking smart and staying inside until the sun goes down." Levy suggested
"Or maybe they finally confessed their feelings for each other and their making out in her apartment as we speak." Cana said laughing as she drank from her barrel of alcohol, causing the most of the guild to laugh as well.
"Yea right, like that would ever happen." Gray said gaining the rest of the guild to laugh harder.
"I don't know about that Gray. The war was hard on everyone especially Natsu. He probably came to the realization that he's not getting any younger and they should settle down." Master Makarov suggested taking a sip from his drink. A moment of silence fell over the room as they all reflect on what happened in the battle against Alvarez, Zeref, and Acnologia two months ago.
"Gee hee" then that moment was gone when Gajeel burst into laughter followed by everyone else "Yea right."
"That sounds exactly how our night went last week. Right Darling!" Juvia said as she threw her arms around Gray's neck practically sitting in his lap while he threw a arm over her shoulder.
Meanwhile
Slightly behind the guild hall was Natsu wearing nothing but black swim shorts, that had flames rising up from the bottom, and his white scaly scarf around his neck. Even though the heat threatened to smack the smile off his face as he stood tall bouncing on the balls of his feet preparing to dash into the pool, with Happy latch onto the top of his head.
"Ready buddy!" the dragon slayer said smiling up at the blue cat not waiting for an answer as he took off in a half jog, half sprint towards the Fairy Tail pool in anticipation.
"Aye sir!" not caring if the dragon slayer didn't wait for his reply.
"Cannon Ball!" Natsu yelled as he jumped into the water causing it to splash off the sides in waves onto Lucy, making her jump to her feet.
"Damnit Natsu! You idiot, I was almost dry!" She yelled waving her arms around in the air rapidly, making him laugh at how ridiculous she looked when her hair flew over her face from the water splashing her.
"Oh, lighten up, I did you a favor. It is over 100 degrees today, I was just trying to cool you off." Natsu said nonchalantly as he adjusted himself on a donut floaty..
Side eyeing him dangerously "Oh really." She said slowly walking to the edge of the pool.
"Yea, you could've gotten a sun burn." Natsu said throwing his arms behind his head and closing his eyes.
Seeing him so relax and calm she took this as an opportunity and got into the water carefully not to alert him, and softly moved closer to him. She grabbed the sides of the floaty with a devious smile on her lips and gave Happy a warning look. Happy understanding her intentions flew out of the way covering his mouth trying not to laugh too early. With all her will power she flip the floaty with Natsu on it causing him to let out a small squeak as he fell into the pool. When he popped his head back up his hair was over his face and a dumbfounded expression causing Happy and Lucy to laugh at his reaction.
"Why would you do that!?" Natsu yelled. "And why you ain't say nothing Happy, we supposed to be partners"
Happy giggled "Sorry Natsu, Lucy had a scary look in her eyes"
Shrugging her shoulders, "I was just trying to cool you off" she mocked him.
Natsu tilt his head back a little brushing his hair from his face "I'm fired up now!" he said with a playful gleam in his eyes that almost made Lucy regret what she did.
"You gonna get it now Lucy!" Happy said laughing in the air.
Cold sweat dropped down the side of Lucy head "Wait..." Still holding on the Donut float as a shield between her and the dragon slayer "Natsu... I'm sorry. How about we go inside for some ice cream." She tried to bribe him, but the look in his eyes says that won't work.
"That won't work on me Luc-" Before he could finish talking, he got a massive headache that caused him to grab his head in pain and his eyes started flashing white. "Shit, not again" he whispered.
"Natsu, are you okay?" Happy asked getting Lucy to uncover her face to take a peek at her dear friend.
"Natsu..." Lucy reached out and touched his shoulder. "What's wrong?" she said in a sincere voice making him look up to her with a small smile.
"I'm fine, just another headache." he horsed out "It'll pass soon."
"Again, that's the third time this week." she stated. "Maybe you should have Wendy check that out later." sliding her hand down to his back to get him to move closer to the edge of the pool in case they need to get out in a hurry.
Putting a arm on the edge of the pool to steady himself so she won't have to. "Yea. I'll ask her later... but it looks like it stopped for now though." he said moving his other hand down from his face.
Natsu looked over to Lucy, now realizing just how close she was pressed up against his side and how the sun light kissed her skin making it look even more soft and creamy, almost like vanilla ice cream. Her eyes glowed a rich chocolate, hypnotizing shade of brown, if he could get a closer look, it almost seems as if she had stars in her eyes. Her hair was down in a wet and wavy look, and a light blush was spread on her cheeks and the top of her voluptuous breast. Her nipples poked out through her white bikini top that had a little dragon on the right breast making it hard for the dragon slayer to peel his eyes away as it swayed with the water. Her thick tongue exposed itself as it traced her full plumped lips bringing moister to them tempting him to move closer. When he did, he felt that she slightly lost her balance making him quickly but softly move his hand up her side and grab onto her thin waist to keep her sturdy.
Lucy was now turning a darker shade of pink as she finally noticed that Natsu was actually checking her out. Glancing up to look at his eyes she seen how they flickered with love and lust for her. She didn't know if he was really into her or if he was playing a trick to get her to let her guard down some more so he can dump her in the water, but at the same time, she didn't care. She hoped he was looking at her in that way, because she was looking at him in that way too.
The sun made his spiky pink hair looked glow as if it was a rare fiery flower dazing her from reality. His tan muscular body flexed with every move he made mirroring just how powerful, yet gentle he is. His head move slightly forward causing her to lose her balance a little but she threw a hand on the edge of the pool to catch herself as her other hand wrapped itself around his shoulder. Shivering a little as she felt Natsu hand slowly trailed up to her waist to help support her, not caring that his hands was on her hip slightly touch the top of her ass in the first place.
Shaking herself back to reality as she decided to end the torturing thought that Natsu could even love her in that way correctly. "Natsu..." Lucy called out, gaining him to look back into her eyes. "Are you sure, you're okay?" she asked, pulling him in a little tighter. Her plumped lips tempted him as each word left her mouth sounding like a sirens call, calling for him. If she didn't knew any better she would've thought his dark onyx eyes were glistening with longing for her at this moment.
"Yea." giving her a toothy grin making her slightly smile back. "Um..." his cheeks turn a light shade of pink "I got-" Suddenly a flash went off interrupting the moment the two was having, and a Happy giggling revealing himself from behind a lacrima camera
"Yoouuu liiikkkeeee eaachothherrrrr" He teased.
"Don't you dare show that around, you idiot cat!" Lucy threatened. She was about to chase him around until Natsu tighten his grip around her waist preventing her from moving any farther away. "Let me go Natsu, if anyone sees that they'll get the wrong idea about us." She looked at him dangerously getting him to let go.
Throwing his arms behind his head gin, as he leaned back against the poolside. "Who cares." he said nonchalantly.
"I do!" Lucy yelled. Looking him in the eyes, "Natsuuuuu..!" She pleaded with puppy dog eyes knowing he can't always say no to her.
Huffing out loudly, "Happy.." Natsu warned. "You show that around, and I won't give you fish for three months. And you'll be sleeping in the woods." He said with a stern look in his eyes.
"Natsu!" she whispered, surprised he got so serious so quickly.
Happy drop to the poolside in front of the two in defeat "Aye sir... Here." He sad walked closer to the two and gave Lucy the camera, which she quickly took and looked at the picture.
After looking at the picture Lucy started to feel bad that Natsu yelled at Happy. "Well... You can still keep the picture, just don't show anyone." handing the object back to the little blue cat.
"Really!" Happy and Natsu exclaim.
"Yea, we look good together." covering her mouth in embarrassment that she actually said that out loud. The two looked at her with dumbfounded expressions, "What!" tossing her head to the side trying to hide her blush "We do..."
"Of course we do, Lucy." He threw his arm around her shoulder "we look even better with Happy." without warning he took the camera from the little blue exceed and pulled him between the two. Holding the camera up "Say cheese!" Giving the camera his famous huge face splitting smile. Shrugging their shoulders Happy and Lucy smiled up at the camera also.
"CHEESE!" They all said together as the camera flashed onto them. After they all looked at the picture, he gave Happy back the camera so he can put it in his bag.
Scratching his head "Now what was I about to do" he said pretending to as if he wasn't on to something.
Laughing in a strange way as he wiggled his fingers at his two friends. "Oh, I remember" As if they sense his plot and danger Lucy and Happy tried to run from the crazed dragon but he was too fast. "This!" He said as he grabbed them both and sank into the water. For as long as their lungs would allow they stayed under the water, swimming around each other, pushing the water around.
As soon as Lucy and Happy came up to the surface, the celestial wizard waved the blue hair cat over. "I got an idea!" With devious smiles they whispered among each other on a crazy but fun stunt trick they can pull on Natsu.
Just as they Finnish talking Natsu emerges from under the water, wiping water from his eyes. Wondering where Happy go since, Lucy was the only one on the other side of the pool he back facing him. Her back was slightly arched as she leaned on the poolside, body glimmering from the sun light making his shorts go stiff and his cheeks stain pink.
He quickly gained his composure fixing his pants, "Lucy." he said getting her attention.
She turned her head flipping her hair over her shoulder fluttering her eyelashes at him. "Yea?" She asked almost seductively making him swallow his spit, words getting caught in his throat.
"Um." Clearing his sudden dry throat, "Where's Happy?" He looked around trying not to let her see his blushing face.
She turned back around pushing her ass in the air just a little, trying to distract him from her lying. "Oh he said something about going inside to get a fish from Mira."
Now facing him elbows on the pool as her left hand hang and the right fingers combed thru her golden locks almost too slow. Knowing the dragon slayer she didn't want to make it too obvious that she was the distraction, so she had to keep the seductive act to a minimum until Happy get into position.
In simple tone "And he said something about wanting to ask everyone why they not in to pool on this," she took a deep breath pushing her breast out a little more "hot" she breath staring him in the eyes in a sultry manner. "Day" she ended pushing off the wall slowly walking to the distressed dragon slayer.
"Oh, okay." He said normally, "I was starting to think the same thing. I wanted to challenge the Popsicle to a swim race." he smashed a fist in his palm trying, than crossing his arms over his chest.
She stalked over to Natsu causing his cheeks to darken at how her curvaceous body move with the water. "Natsu?"
He swallowed thickly. "Yea" He said almost distracted by her hips until she stopped in front of him.
Softy laying a hand, one by one, on his tone biceps, "Can I tell you something?" She said looking up into his eyes.
"Of course you can!" He responded with a genuine smile, "You can tell me anything Luce, that's what friends are for." He finished, hating that they're still friends after all the time they spent together.
Glancing over his shoulder she noticed Happy in position giving her a thumbs up, covering his mouth suppressing a giggle "That's good to hear." She smiled. Leaning in as if she was going to whisper in his ear. "Sorry, but that's two points for me." Suddenly, not to waste the chance, Lucy hurriedly pushed down on his shoulders till his head dip under the water again. Before he came back up for revenge she ran back to her spot near the poolside laughing.
Natsu came back up to the surface, "You're gonna regret doing that Luce." a silly evil smile on his face. He charged forward too focus on Lucy, he didn't notice Happy sneaking up behind him.
"Now Happy!" She yell before he can get too close to Lucy.
"Wait… What the… Happy!" Stopping mid-step to look for the little blue fur ball.
Happy latched himself onto Natsu back and flew straight up into the sky causing Natsu to squeal like earlier "Lucy, you better get out of there, this gonna be a big one!" Happy warned.
"Right!" and with that she got out the pool and grabbed her keys. "Alright that's high enough! Now, Let him go Happy!" She commanded.
"What the fuck you mean 'Let him go'!" Natsu said half scared and half curious as to what's going happen, then he looked down and noticed he was about 20 feet above the pool. "NOOOO DON'T DO IT HAPPY!" He screamed arms and legs desperately trying to grab something that's not there.
Happy wasn't listening "MEGA NATSU" he dropped Natsu into the water. "CANNON BALL!"
"I'MMA GET YOU GUYS FOR THIS!" Natsu yelled as he balled himself up and braced for impact.
"You should probably start running now, Lucy!" Happy said laughing as he flew away leaving her behind.
"Wait Happy, don't leave me like this!" She yelled watching him fly away through one of the guild windows "Asshole!" Lucy grabbed her towel and made a run for the guild hall.
Natsu re-emerge from the water looking around for his targets until he noticed Lucy running out and passed the pool gates, laughing. "Lucy! You know you can't run from me" Natsu yelled at the celestial mage as he got out of the water slowly and tauntingly.
She giggled "Yea, but I'm still going to try." She said still running at full speed, she didn't need to yell that loud thanks to his good hearing.
It didn't take long for him to catch up to the blonde "Gotcha!" Natsu said popping up behind her causing her to shriek out loud as he wrapped his arms around her waist. As soon as he lift her off the ground a puff of blue smoke appeared and two small creatures with blue colored bodies and two antennae was there in her place instead. "Gemini!" he couldn't help but laughed at how she tricked him again.
"Piri-piri!" the two blue creatures said and then poof they were off back into the celestial world.
"Sike!" Lucy teased sticking her tongue out at him as she opened the door and run inside the guild towards their friends for help. This caused Natsu to laugh harder.
"Get back here!" He yelled knowing that they heard him. "Lucy! Happy!"
Inside the guild
"Gee hee" then that moment was gone when Gajeel burst into laughter followed by everyone else "Yea right."
"That sounds exactly how our night went last week. Right Darling!" Juvia said as she threw her arms around Gray's neck, practically sitting in his lap, causing him to blush and throw an arm around her shoulders. The laughing slowly faded and all heads turned to faced the two mages.
"Oh… Ha Ha" Gray nervously laughed slightly looking to Juvia while scratching the back of his head with his free arm "Surprise" he said to his guild mates while throwing the same arm in the air. The room was quiet for 5 seconds before everyone jumped to their feet hooting and hollering for joy.
"About time you said yes!" Marco patted him on the back.
"That's wonderful guys" Wendy said in admiration.
Elfman was crying and saying "What a real man!" Gray was.
"And just think, soon we'll have little Grays and Juvia's running around here with baby Asuka" Mira said.
"This is my chance to be a bridesmaid" Erza tried to whisper to herself, but everyone heard and ignored her comment.
Having to be in a wheelchair due to his condition after the battle, Master cheered from his seat. "Time to celebrate!" Master Makarov said and threw an empty cup in the air along with everyone else. "Gray and Juvia are finally a couple!" He yelled.
Levy looked to Gajeel, who nodded his head giving her an answer to her silent question. Turning back to the newly announced couple she said. "That's great Juvia! Gajeel confessed to me on the battle field." Smiling big with Lily nodding his head yes on the side of her, made everyone go silent again.
"Gajeel!" Everyone yelled almost in unison, even Mira was shocked that, the black steel, iron dragon slayer had a soft side for Levy.
"Aye! Don't say it like that!" Gajeel yelled back. Soon they was all jumping out of their seats again for the second time cheering for the couples.
"Levy no…" Jet and Droy cried silently.
"Who would've thought, you two would become a thing." Wakaba said.
Erza walked to the middle of the room "Congrats you four, love is an amazing thing." She smiled, "here have a piece of cake" the wizard handed the four a plate of strawberry cake "Don't forget to make me a bridesmaid ladies, I already got my dresses picked out" she half begged, half demanded.
"Bring out the drinks!" Master said cheered.
Mira who was already passing out drinks, handed him another cup. "On it!"
"Yea more booze!" Cana influenced, happy that she wasn't the only one drinking heavily now. Thanks to the two couples the guild had forgot about the heat and started dancing, eating and drinking.
Some how Mira and Gajeel ended up hosting a talent show with them as the main event. Gildarts, Master Makarov, Cana, Wakaba, and Macao was all drinking and talking about the new couples. Jet and Droy stopped crying over Levy being Gajeel's girlfriend instead of one of theirs, and began enjoying the celebration alongside the rest of the guild. If it wasn't for the loud cheering for the couples, the guild seem like it was back to normal. The only thing that was missing was a pink haired dragon slayer, a celestial wizard, and a talking blue cat.
As the party went on no one noticed a soaking wet Happy fly in from the back until he dropped on the table in front of Gray and Juvia sprinkling water on their faces. "You guys gotta help me!" He said. The loud talking and laughing stopped throughout the guild, and everyone zoned in on what was happening with Happy.
"Woah, Happy! why are you soaking wet" Gray said as he wiped away the drops of water from his face. Happy didn't say anything just breath rapidly and rolled onto his back, to the people in the guild it seemed as if he's been running for his life.
Erza rushed up to the table worried for her friends. "What happened? And where's Natsu and Lucy?" Erza implored the Little blue exceed in fear of something bad happening to them.
Happy started weeping, "Natsu's gonna get me!" He weeped harder "He probably already got Lucy!"
"Wait, Happy, what are you saying?" Erza asked desperately. "You're running from Natsu? Why?"
"And where are they?!" Gray ask in the same manner as Erza.
"We was at the pool and…" Happy started
"We have a pool?" Droy inputted to Jet.
"and Lucy got the crazy idea to.." Happy tries to continue but was interrupted when the doors open revealing Lucy who was only wearing a bikini and holding a slightly dampen towel.
"Sike!" She yelled passed the doors outside before running all the way in. "You guys! I'm glad you all here!" She said urgently but got distracted when she noticed Happy on the table. "There you are, you damn cat!" She yelled rushing over the the him angrily, making Happy sit up quickly.
Happy face lit up mistaking Lucy's angry walk towards him for gratitude. "Lucy!" The little blue exclaim with a smile on his face .
Stopping in front of him. "Don't you 'Lucy' me!" She yelled.
"Hey Lucy, what's going on?" Wendy asked wary.
Not hearing what the little sky dragon asked she continued to yell at Happy. "How could you leave me like that, he could've killed me!" She yelled.
Happy relaxed a little after Mira gave him a fish to chew on, "He wouldn't killed you." he said calmly.
"You little fur ball-!" Lucy started.
She was interrupted when Erza called her name. "Tell us, what's going on." Just when Lucy was about to inform them on what she and Happy done, they all heard Natsu outside the guild walls yelling, making them all turn and face the guild doors.
"Get back here! Lucy! Happy!" The sound of him yelling made the two grab onto each other fearful for him to come inside.
Still holding onto Happy, "uh.. me and happy probably did something really stupid." she laughed nervously.
"What did you two do?" Makarov asked rolling up besides Erza. As they still hold onto each other for dear life, the two hurriedly and told everyone in the guild what they did to Natsu at the pool. Expecting their nakamas to help come up with a plan was a bad time wasting. because all everyone did was laugh at the three goofiness, and asked how stupid Natsu looked when Happy dropped him, resulting in the two lowering their guards.
"Wait so why wasn't you guys at the pool?" Lucy asked out of Curiosity. "It's 100 degrees today, we thought everyone would be there." She inquired. Everyone glanced at one another mentally asking the same thing."
"I guess we forgot we had a pool" laughed Gildarts.
As they all began chitchatting among each other Gajeel got a whiff of Natsu's scent inside the guild. "Well would you look at that, I thought he got distracted by a pretty butterfly or somethin'." He said to no one in particular. Chuckling to himself he decided mess with Natsu's prey. "He's here!" He said tauntingly scaring the two back into each other arms again. Making everyone one in to room look around the room for the crazed pyro.
Shaking as they held each other "Where!" They said at the same time, still looking around but not seeing him.
He pointed behind them. "There" Gajeel said.
At the same time Natsu jumped up from behind them as if he was jumping out the floor, making most of the guild jump as well, "Gotchu now!" While he was throwing a screaming Lucy over his shoulder Happy got loose from her grip and thought he was able to get away, "Where do you think you're going?" Natsu teased as he caught him by the head and started walking towards the door.
"No, Natsu! It was Lucy's idea!" Happy pleaded. Making the members of the guild laugh.
"Trader!" Lucy yelled, causing everyone to laugh harder.
Before they reached the door Natsu turned around giving everyone a full view of Lucy's ass, his hand was holding to keep her up. "Why we ain't celebrating with a pool party!" He asked like they should've been did it.
Using his back to push herself up a little, "There's a celebration?" Lucy asked.
Master Makarov threw his hand in the air that was holding a cup spilling some on the floor, "Let's celebrate, the new couples Gray and Juvia as well as Levy and Gajeel with a Fairy Tail pool party!" He cheered loudly with everyone else joining in.
Natsu threw the hand that was holding onto Happy in the air, and turned back around to continue his journey to the pool, "Come on!" He cheered, getting the rest to cheer along louder. "Mira! I want some fire barbecue!" He said, now running off with Happy in his hand, Lucy over his shoulder, and his teammates behind him yelling about a pool party.
A few hours of having and epic Fairy Tail style pool party, the sun started to go down and it began to get a little chilly outside, so everyone decided to take the party inside to enjoy the rest of the day. Most went home to get a change of clothes first like Lucy, Natsu, Gray Juvia, and more.
After returning they'd returned to the guild the party quickly picked up where it left off. Some would say it was just another day at the Fairy Tail Guild. Lucy sat at the bar in her usual stool talking to Levy about the most recent chapter in her novel, while Erza was sitting a few seats down from the two eating a piece of strawberry cake as if it was the last piece in the world. Cana was drinking, as usual. Macao and Wakaba were talking about how they envy the young ones these days, even Gildarts was having a drink or two with Makarov, who was sitting in his wheelchair Porlyusica assigned him after the battle.
The rowdiest of them all was Natsu and Gray. Who was, of course, in a brawl while Elfman was yelling about being a real man, which caused Natsu to throw Gray against him and start an even bigger brawl with Gajeel, Bixlow and even Freed joining in. No one dared to intervene, Laxus as busy talking to Mirajane, even the almighty Titania, Erza, was too occupied with her cake to stop the mini chaos that was taking place behind her.
"Show me what you got, flame-brain!" Gray challenged in nothing but his underwear.
"Bring it on, pervert!"
"Gray my darling... Your clothes.." Juvia said with heart eyes.
Looking down at his current attire "What the hell! How did that happen!" Gray all but screamed as he started looking for his pants. Juvia on the other hand was loving the private show she imagine he was putting on in her head, and every so often saying "Gray how bold" or "Gray maybe you'll strip for me later."
"I'm all fired up now" the young dragon slayer said grinning, thinking he had the upper hand on his opponent distraction and beginning to advance towards Gray, but what he didn't notice was that Gray was well aware of his movements.
Right before Natsu had the chance of punching him in the face, Gray did a jump kick and kicked Natsu, causing him to fly back into a table and breaking it in the process. Gray smirked of his achievement, and continued looking for his clothes. Natsu on the other hand wasn't happy about the loss and attempted to stand back up but fell back down in another hard crash grabbing his head in pain. This caused everyone to look up in worry, even those who were in mid brawl stopped in concern of their Nakama.
" Natsu Are you okay?" Lucy said as she reached her hand out to the young mage to help him to his feet. Which he took gracefully, enjoying how soft her hand is in his even for a second.
"Yea Natsu, are you okay?" Happy said, hiding a giggle behind a fish he was currently eating.
"I'm fine" the young mage said, looking at Happy with a slight warning look. "Just a headache."
"Really? That's the second time today. You know, Ever since the battle, I've noticed you've been receiving a lot of headaches. Are you sure you're alright?" You can see it on her face, Lucy was really concern for her best friend/Nakama. That worry soon vanished and a light blush of pink took its place across her face when Natsu gave her his usual face splitting smile.
"It's nothing, Luce. Can't no headache take me down" He said flexing the bicep with the Fairy Tail emblem on it. Natsu didn't want to admit it but Lucy was right, the headaches he been getting are gradually getting worsened each time. Sometimes his eyes would flash white or it'll be hard for him to move as much for a few seconds, but after a minute or two it would go away, so he never really gave it much thought.
Just as he finish talking another head splitting headache washed over him and he dropped to his knees in pain, pressing the heels of his palms into his eyes trying to get rid of the pain that seemed to be increasing by the second.
"Natsu! Someone! Get Wendy!" Lucy practically screamed gaining Erza's and the Master's attention, she kneeled down next to him with a hand on his shoulder.
"She's in the bathroom!" Levy informed the celestial mage as she rushed over to her side.
"Dammit Gray! What did you do?" a deathly aura surrounded the red head scaring the poor raven haired mage.
"I only kicked him." The ice make mage hid behind Happy "Hell I didn't even use magic.!" .
"I.. It's nothing.. I'm f f fine" Natsu horsed out, grabbing on to the nearest object for support, which happened to be Lucy's shoulder. He tried to stand but another wave of pain washed over him and this time it happened to worsen than before, it was just as painful as it was to unlock his second origin right before the grand magic games. Screaming as he grabbed his head and he felt as if he was about to explode, literally. So he pushed Lucy and Levy back as far as he could and yelled "Get Back!"
Happy and Lily being aware of the situation, rushed to grab Lucy and Levy out the way just in time to see their friend get blown backwards by some unknown force. He was flown so hard that he broke a few more tables and had been knocked out in the process.
"Natsu!" Practically the whole guild screamed, wondering what happened and what had him so much pain, some even stood up ready for battle looking around for the source of their dragon slay pain. Lucy ran up to him lying face down on the floor, eyes shut tight, she tried shaking him awake but he didn't budge. With eyes that's asking for help, she looked up at everyone but no one knew what was happening or how to help. They stood there just as scared and lost as she was.
Flashback
One hand on his chest trying to ease the pain he never knew he could feel, falling down to his knees in despair tears streaming down his face, grunting in anguish as he fell to the blood stained grass, he couldn't hold his small body up anymore no matter how hard he tried. He was dying but his young mind couldn't process what was happening to the world he once knew. The once bright blue and sunny skies were now overshadowed by black smoke, the happy and lively village was now screaming in intense misery and inhuman roars. He finally manages to roll over onto his back, his left hand still clutching his chest, the only thing he can hear is his own rapid breathing and the faint screams of the villagers.
"Natsu!" He barely heard his name but somehow he knew it was his brother's voice he longed to hear since this mayhem began.
"Zeref?!" He reached over desperately with now crimson colored hands, wanting his brother's comfort, but he was too far away. Before he knew it the world began to darken around his eyes and the hand he reached out dropped, no longer with strength in his arm.
The last thing he saw was his brother crying, screaming his name, eagerly trying to get to his brother as fast as his small 9 year old legs could allow.
Defeated by the darkness he closed his teary eyes with the last words leaving his pale lips, "Stay a.. a.. alive…. Zeref."
End of flashback
"Natsu!" The young celestial mage managed to turned Natsu over to his back. Eyes filling up with tears for the man she grew to love but never told him her feelings, in fear of ruining their friendship.
Wendy was already out of the bathroom and next to Natsu's side in no time using her healing magic to help the pink haired mage. She put her hand over his chest and her hand began to glow a light shade of blue "I can't find nothing wrong with him!" she said with tearful eyes. She couldn't help it, her brotherly figure was in pain and there was nothing she can do to ease it for him.
With a light touch, almost scared she would cause him more pain, Lucy touched his cheek and his eyes began to open. "Natsu?" He shot up standing to his feet, eyes looking around as if he was looking for someone.
His precious Muffler barely on his shoulder, revealed a silver pendant connected to a matching chain around his neck."Where is he?" The pink haired mage asked almost desperately, everyone looked around confused on who exactly "he" was. Some thought he was talking about Gray to finish what they started but the look in his eyes and the fact that the Ice make mage was standing on the side of him says otherwise.
"Who are you talking about?" Gray asked in cold sweat, wondering if he actually kicked some screws loose in the dragon slayer.
Natsu turned his direction and looked him in the eyes "My brother? Where is Zeref?!" sensing as if he knew the answer but he couldn't quite shake the feeling that he was just with him. The look in his eyes didn't show anger or fear the mages surrounding him thought it would. Instead his eyes showed sadness, loss, and worry, he honestly believed he lost someone who was just standing next to him.
No one knew how to answer him, they all felt just as confused and lost as he did. For some this was the first time hearing that he was not just related to the late Black Wizard, but he was also his brother.
"Natsu, you know he's…" Titania started to tell him, but once he looked at her with troubled eyes she lost the words to speak. Natsu knew. He started to come back to reality but he needed someone to say the words.
"He's dead my boy.." Master Makarov said dreadfully gaining the young man's attention "You know this, you were there, you helped.." He couldn't finish. Natsu fell to the floor, one leg bent and his hands came up to his hair as he came back to his normal self. His arm was resting on his bent leg as if he was trying not to seem like he was hiding his face from his friends. Hands still in his hair as if he wanted to shake his mind back to normal, he slowly brought his hands down his face and let out a deep sigh.
"That's right," he confessed to himself. "But what the hell was that?" It seemed as if he was asking himself more than asking anyone around him…
Everyone been concern about Natsu that no one seemed to notice a golden blond hair woman walk through the door until the she spoke.
"That was a memory." she bluntly but gently stated, gaining everyone's attention. Her hair was tied lengthy back into a high ponytail and she had side-swept bangs, with two strands pf hair draped down the side of her head showing off the shape of her face. The golden hair mage was dressed in elegant red and white robes with a high-collared cloak. Overall, she greatly resembles an older version of her descendant Lucy.
"Anna..? What are you doing here?" Lucy asked the question that seemed to be on everyone's mind.
" Hello Lucy, how are you dear." She smile but not waiting for an answer, instead she answer her question, looking towards her objective "I'm here to help, young Natsu understand his state."
"You said it was a memory? What do you mean?" Master Makarov sat in his chair in front of everyone with a stern but curious look on his face.
"Well... That's up to Natsu, if he wants me to inform you all or not?" Anna asked more than telling, everyone looked towards the young dragon slayer for an answer. Somehow Natsu knew what she wanted to tell them.
The look of confusion, nervousness, anxious, and most of all worry was shown on his face, he stood up ever so slowly, turning away from the alluring eyes, crossing his tan arms over his chest. It seemed as if he was debating with himself. Natsu knew that a hand full of his guild mates knew he was END and was thankful that they hadn't been afraid or agitated towards him. What he don't know is how everyone else would react, for the first time he was anxious. He was worried that they all wouldn't accept him for who he was thought out to be. These thoughts soon left his mind after remembering that they wasn't just his guild mates but they was also his family.
Turning around and walking back next to Lucy, he looked as if they all should already know the answer "Whatever you want to say, you can say it." Looking Anna in the eyes, with a sheepish smile on his face.
"Are you sure about this Natsu, this seem a bit more personal than usual?" Erza said in her caring voice he rarely hear from her.
He threw a arm around Lucy to show everyone his carefree free smile to signal that he's not only feeling better but that he's okay with everyone knowing the truth. "Everyone in this room is not only my Nakama but also my family, even Gajeel" he said jokingly, pointing his thumb towards the iron dragon slayer, earning him a sarcastically small "Geeh hee, thanks."
"and you guys deserve to know the truth." as he finished he look at Anna and nod his head for her to continue with her brief information.
"Very well." She took a deep breath and took a couple steps deeper inside the guild so they all can hear her better. "I'm going to assume that most of you may know, Natsu is the former Dark Wizard Zeref's young brother." this caused most of the guild that did knew to lower their heads in defeat and the other half snap their heads towards the dragon slayer in shock and nonplus. Lucy felt Natsu stiffen up and tighten his grip slightly around her shoulder as if he was bracing for impact, but nothing came.
"But he" gazing at Natsu "died at a young age, along with his parents, and half the village they was living in."
As she talked, Natsu took his arm from Lucy's shoulder, looking around until he found a chair. Pulling the chair to where he stood next to Lucy, he sat down resting his elbows on his knees.
"Which caused Zeref much grief and confusion on why people live and die." She continued. "So he was cursed by a god, with the contradictory curse as punishment for trying to devise a way to bring Natsu back to life." She paused to allow the information to sink in.
Taking another deep breath and a few steps forward she continued. "But that didn't stop him. Zeref used the curse to bring his brother back to life, but in the end it was for a different reason." She looked to Natsu, who stared her in the eyes and nod his head for her to continue, but the words got caught in her throat once she looked at all the upset and confused faces in the room.
Lowering his head, Natsu took a deep breath and continued for her. "On the day of the battle, when I was fighting Zeref, he told me something that I'm still having trouble believing." Using one of his hands he rub the back of his neck not knowing how to put his thoughts into actual words.
"Y'all know about the demons he created, and with those demons there was END." picking his head back up he looked everyone in the eyes and said "Etherious Natsu Dragneel..." saying each word strong but slowly so everyone can soak it in quicker.
He stopped looking around the room, and looked Master Makarov in the eyes and said "he told me, I am END."
