The two men ran down the dimly lit corridor of the prison. Naruto was taking the lead, and Sasuke was only a few steps behind him. Both with bare torso and no weapons against an entire city, fair enough.
Naruto's eyes widened slightly at the sight of two men further ahead. Gritting his teeth slightly, he leapt onto the flat surface of the wall using it as momentum and delivered a drop kick to one of the guards, throwing him violently into the wall of the interconnected corridor.
The other guard was startled and tried to grab his sword, but before he could, Sasuke threw him against the wall and punched him hard in the neck, catching the blade soon after.
- Shit, this sword is too small.
Naruto grumbled, waving the dark metal sword lightly. He felt like he was swinging his own arm. He could barely feel the weight of the sword.
- Any idea where Tayuya and Sakura are?
Naruto asked, not holding out much hope as he continued to run down the hall.
- I think I might have an idea.
Sasuke said, sliding his body across the floor and driving his sword into the leg of one of the guards ahead. Naruto jumped over his body and pierced the chest of the other guard, falling on top of him in the process.
A commotion could be heard through the corridors they just ran, and both men clicked their tongues.
- I think they realized that we got away.
Sasuke said, continuing to run down the corridor.
- Damn, this place is like a maze.
Naruto grumbled after some time moving through those corridors that seemed to be the same as each other.
- Yeah, almost like they don't want us to leave or something.
Sasuke joked, and Naruto rolled his eyes as he pressed another guard to the wall.
Bells were heard everywhere, screams from prisoners echoed through the corridors, becoming louder whenever the two men passed in front of a cell.
The two came across a number of soldiers approaching in the direction they were running, blocking the corridor with spears and swords in hand.
Naruto took the lead, throwing his sword towards the group of guards, hitting one of them in the chest and causing him to fall backwards, destabilizing the small formation of soldiers.
Sasuke moved forward soon after, his analytical eyes running all over his opponents. Two of them tried to attack him at the same time, but he deftly deflected, almost as if he were dancing in front of his enemies... almost as if he could predict their movements.
Sasuke slit the throats of the two guards and watched Naruto grab the body of one of them and throw himself against the formation of soldiers, using the protected body of the dying soldier as a shield from the spears and swords being wielded in his direction.
With his enormous physical strength, he pushed the row of soldiers back, while Sasuke killed all those who fell to the side or who were in a favorable position within his reach.
Until after some time, Naruto released the dead body of the soldier as they left the corridor and stopped in an open area, probably where the prisoners stayed in their free time from their cells. He picked up one of the fallen men's spears, a black-bladed halberd with silver detailing. With a swipe of his weapon, he decapitated one of the men and struck the side of the body of others, ignoring some of their armor and destabilizing them. If he had his sword, that blow would have done far more damage.
Turning, he defends a vertical slashing attack from one of the approaching soldiers and counterattacks with a kick to his stomach, sending him backwards. Turning his halberd, he drives the blade of his weapon into the soldier's head, using the handle soon after to deflect the second guard's attack.
Sasuke appeared right next to him, thrusting his sword into the man's unprotected neck.
Naruto picked up one of the swords that fell to the ground and ran alongside Sasuke, his eyes focused on an iron door ahead.
- I think that's our way out.
Sasuke said, going through the door first, and closing it just after Naruto had passed. The alerted soldiers were so focused on capturing and/or killing them that they forgot to lock the door. Some good protection.
There were two corridors ahead, very wide corridors that converged. Corridors crowded with soldiers, this time with shields and heavier weapons. Naruto rolled his eyes as Sasuke muttered softly, pulling him back and running down the only corridor they had access to at the moment.
It was one of the central corridors, where several other corridors from different areas of the prison converged, which made it so that the soldiers never lost sight of them.
At one point, they found themselves at the connection between three corridors, the one they were running down, one on the right crowded with soldiers, another on the left also crowded with soldiers, only one window barred with bars in front.
Naruto advanced toward the window and threw himself against the bars, using his strength to force it forward, destroying a small part of the window's sides. The two men jumped out, not caring how high they fell, and landed as best they could on the ground.
By luck, fate, or script, they didn't break anything, even though the fall was from the second floor.
They recovered quickly, and Sasuke's eyes focused on some boxes further ahead.
He ran to these boxes and opened them quickly, smiling as he realized that they were boxes of gunpowder.
- Help me carry these boxes to that little grid on the floor.
Sasuke said, and Naruto arched an eyebrow, but didn't ask any questions, just did as Sasuke had said.
Tearing off a section of his light brown pants, Sasuke, with effort, set fire to the fabric and tied it around his sword. With one swift motion, he throws the flaming blade towards the boxes from a safe distance, and a large explosion occurred, destroying a portion of the floor and nearby walls.
Naruto's eyes widened slightly as he saw the hole in the floor leading into the sewer, but before he could say anything, arrows started to be shot towards the two men, who were without armor, so those things really were dangerous at that point.
Quickly, they both ran to the sewer and threw themselves into it, making brief faces at the strong smell that invaded their noses, and an effort to ignore the stench that made their eyes water.
They looked around and headed down the sewer as fast as they could, with luck, they would find a direction that led to the river, or a direction that led to an opening outside the prison, either way, they had to go fast.
- Damn, the smell still makes me want to puke.
Naruto grumbled after a while, looking back for a few moments, before running his eyes around looking for anything, any place they could use to get out of there.
- Still? Have you been chased by guards into a sewer before?
Sasuke asked jokingly, blinking a few times as he saw Naruto look at him.
-... Really?
- A few years ago, yes. Just before I met Konohamaru.
- Holy shit.
They continued walking, this time at a slightly slower speed, since they heard no guards behind them and still had to look for a way out.
- So, what did you do back then to be chased?
Sasuke asked, and Naruto sighed. He still didn't like reliving those memories.
- I... killed someone who tried to attack me.
- Shit, on the move early on, huh?
- So to speak, but that's not important. You were one of the experimental subjects of this Orochimaru guy, right?
He asked, and despite Sasuke's somewhat somber expression, he was attentive.
- So, you have this special eye, Sharingan, whatever. Why didn't you use it on the guards? I don't know, put them in a hypnosis too.
Sasuke scratched the back of his head, staring at a ladder at the end of the corridor they were standing on.
- As I said, each one has a different ability, or abilities. Although I have the capacity to use the eye of hypnotism, I don't have enough training for that level.
Naruto arched an eyebrow, and Sasuke sighed.
- I ran away before Orochimaru did any more tests, before I went through the training that others went through. I can use the Sharingan up to a certain limit of ability.
Naruto continued to stare at him even after they reached the stairs, remembering Sasuke's old words and everything that happened after the first time they met. There were times in battles, especially when he was against more than one opponent, that Sasuke's manner of walking, and battle stance would change, almost like...
- You can imitate the enemy's movements.
Naruto said, despite the slight doubt in his voice. Sasuke tilted his head slightly to the side and smiled in surprise.
- Boy, you really are smarter than I thought. Yes, I can copy the enemy's movements and adapt them to my own style. But, as you can imagine, there is a certain limit.
Sasuke said, going up the stairs and opening the bars slightly as he looked around. An alley, with people walking not far from there, but it was far enough.
Naruto quickly climbed the stairs and they both hid behind some barrels present in the back of one of the surrounding houses.
Leaning his body to the side, Naruto tries to locate himself. It didn't look like they were downtown, he couldn't see any prominent establishments and there wasn't much movement in the streets. But it also didn't seem to be somewhere very far away, since the clothes of the people walking ahead were decent and the few establishments they had were clean and organized.
- Okay, you said you could get an idea of where Tayuya and Sakura are. Well, start talking.
Sasuke leaned to the side right next to Naruto, also running his eyes down the street ahead.
- Okay, as you probably already know, women are not treated the same as men. I was surprised to see that you didn't make any mean comments or sneers when you saw Sakura and Tayuya as mercenaries.
Sasuke said, walking down the back alley of those closed houses and buildings, focusing his eyes on a few buckets of water ahead. He preferred clean clothes, but that was enough to take away the smell.
- With training and dedication, anyone can go to the battlefield, regardless of gender.
Naruto said, picking up one of the buckets of water and pouring it over his body.
- Good, good. Anyway, women prisoners are taken to places near wealthy neighborhoods, they are more valuable than men, so to speak. So it is no surprise that that woman, Ryuzetsu, was asked to marry someone important. Women warriors, especially, are looked at with different eyes.
Sasuke did the same, sighing with relief as he felt that awful smell being washed away with the water, though still present on his legs.
- I got it, we just have to find a rich neighborhood.
- Huh, that sounds so easy.
They heard the loud voices of soldiers running down the street, news of two escaped prisoners already spreading through the city.
- Oh, shit. I'm not going back to that sewer again, not even dead. - Naruto turned to Sasuke. - They know we escaped, and they also know we are related to those two women... surely they will increase the security of the place or transfer them somewhere else.
Sasuke blinked some, looking surprised, something that for some reason irritated Naruto.
- If you say I'm smarter than you thought once again...
- Relax. - Sasuke smiled, resting his sword on his shoulder and walking down the alley. - I was going to say I thought the same thing.
Naruto rolled his eyes and also leaned his sword on his shoulder, walking a few steps behind Sasuke.
- Then it makes no difference whether we are seen or not.
Sasuke stared at him.
- You're not thinking about-
- Too late.
Sasuke's eyes widened as he watched Naruto run into the street and steal the wagon of a man wearing a suit.
- What are you doing there? Come on!
The blond man shouted, snapping Sasuke out of his initial shock and causing him to run to the wagon, sitting down beside Naruto who was advancing with the horses.
- You're crazy, you know!
- What?
- Naruto, we just stole a man's wagon!
- Oh, please! He'll live. And I like to think we borrowed it!
Naruto gritted his teeth as the horses swerved around a small wagon stopped on the street in front of an establishment, the gazes of the civilians following the unruly horses.
- Really, that's your plan!? Didn't you think we could do it without drawing so much attention!?
Sasuke exclaimed, worried about the guards who spotted them, but he would be lying if he said he wasn't having a little fun.
- Oh, I'm sorry, mister sneaky. But look at my hair, do you really think this thing would go unnoticed? Or rather, my size? - He didn't care that he ran over a soldier making a turn.
- I don't know, we could have found a soldier with armor that fit you, have you thought about that?
- And run the risk of being caught in the act? No way! Now pay attention to your surroundings, we need to find them.
Sasuke rolled his eyes and stood up, leaning on the small wooden wall in the wagon and running his eyes around the streets that followed.
After some time of causing chaos throughout the city, more and more soldiers began to appear, but luckily, Sasuke spotted a place that caught his attention.
- There.
He shouted and Naruto looked at the spot he pointed to. It was a large building at the top of a downhill slope that curved to the right. There were a few women chained in front of the door, and several men, soldiers and nobles around.
- Are you sure?!
Naruto asked, still holding the reins of the horses but standing upright, holding his sword between his left arm and the side of his torso.
- Trust me! I'm sure of it.
Sasuke said, jumping out of the wagon. Naruto rolled his eyes and did the same, rolling on the ground a few times before getting up and running towards the building.
The soldiers widened their eyes briefly and picked up their swords as they saw two men advancing toward them with unfriendly expressions.
Naruto gave a horizontal cut to the first soldier, who tried to defend with his sword, but the force of the blow was so strong that his sword was thrown from his hand and his body was thrown to the side, with the top of his armor crumpled, almost destroyed by the blow.
Sasuke dodged the second soldier's blow, ramming his sword into his neck without stopping running. Further ahead, another soldier tried to attack him, but he deflected the attack with his sword and drove his sword into his enemy's waist, cutting his throat soon after.
Inside the place, Sakura and Tayuya were kneeling with handcuffs on their hands inside a cell with an open door. There were several cells around, plus other women in similar situations of restraint. However, they were like the biggest jewels, their cell was bigger and they were on a small stage with a wooden floor.
What most intrigued the two women was not the fact that they were chained in a cell wearing only skirts of questionable material and sashes covering their breasts, surrounded by men who looked at them like merchandise, no.
Many women were clearly frightened, resisting being taken to a room on the second floor. But when they returned, they were smiling with an expression of relief and happiness, a strange gleam in their previously frightened eyes.
They were not stupid, they knew what was happening, the reason for this change, and this was exactly what they feared and what puzzled them.
- What the hell... where is my knight in shining armor when I need him?
Tayuya asked, and Sakura glared at her.
- Never needed one.
Tayuya smiled slightly.
- At certain times, yes I needed it, everyone needs it sometimes. Now, for example, would be good.
Sakura was silent for a while, before sighing as she saw yet another woman being converted by something from upstairs.
- I won't lie that it would be of great help now.
She said amidst a defeated sigh.
The surrounding nobles began to stir, startled, drawing the attention of the two women. They watched as guards ran to the front door, only to be brutally killed.
The two saw heads, arms, and blood flying around the place. Screams of terror echoed and people moved away from the center of the place, away from the bodies that fell to the ground.
Two guards tried to run, and that's when both women's eyes widened as they saw a sword sticking out of the back of one of the guards, right in front of their cell. Their eyes widened even more as they saw Sasuke and Naruto, both with bare chests and blood all over their wet bodies appear.
- Ah, fucking finally!
Naruto exclaimed, picking up the sword he had thrown at the guard and smashing the cell door with some effort, startling the two women as they saw the door made of metal bars being slammed into the wall.
- Holy shit, guys.
Tayuya said, watching Sasuke kill another one of the guards with great skill, just before she shifted her eyes to Naruto, who crouched in front of Sakura and touched the chains that bound her.
- You'll need the keys for the lock. It stays on the-
Sakura fell silent as she watched Naruto's torso contract, showing every fiber of his body, as well as his veins bulging in his skin and his eyes glowing a fiery blue. With a small growl, Naruto burst the chains that bound the girl, and stood up with a smile after seeing the metal fall to the ground.
- Great, the metal from the chains is still from the land of fire.
He said, walking to Tayuya and doing the same while Sakura took the sword that he left leaning against the wall and blocked the attack of one of the soldiers that advanced towards her. Taking a step to the side after pushing him forward, she spun her body and cut the neck of her opponent, deep enough to scratch the bone, and the soldier fell to the ground.
- We have to go!
Sasuke shouted as he saw more soldiers come through the front door and the back door.
Dodging a spear, he threw himself backwards, where he was supported by Sakura who put her hand on his back.
Sasuke gritted his teeth as he saw more and more soldiers coming, but what caught his attention was a man staring at them while keeping one hand on a lever on a wall opposite the one they were on.
Sasuke widened his eyes slightly and looked down at the wooden floor on which he was standing.
- Oh-
He tried to say, but the man pulled the lever and the floor opened. The four of them fell into a huge hole with no light at the bottom, until they landed on a soft, slightly rubbery, wet surface.
They rolled down what seemed to be a small hill of whatever it was until they fell to the ground with water up to their ankles. A rotten smell invaded their noses, and this time, they could barely keep from vomiting, since the smell was times worse than the smell of the sewer.
- What the... holy fuck!
Naruto growled as he stood up, drying his hand on the driest part of his pants and placing it in front of his nose. As he did so, however, he widened his eyes as he smelled the distinctive metallic smell of blood.
- Guys...
He tried to call out to them, but was interrupted by the soft but cold and frightening sound of a dangerous wind, and little by little, candles were lit in a long corridor ahead.
The four of them stared at it with wide eyes, there was nothing lighting the candles, but one by one they were lit, illuminating the concrete hallway stained a characteristic crimson red, illuminating the room they were in, and finally, illuminating the hallway opposite the first one.
The chandelier above their heads, right next to the hole they had just fallen into also lit up, and their eyes widened even more when they saw that they had fallen into a pile of human remains. Faces that had been dead for some time, ribcages with almost no flesh left lying on the ground, limbs, pieces of muscle atop the small pile were what cushioned the quartet's fall.
- What the... what is this place?
Naruto whispered as he saw that all the bodies there belonged to women as all the ribcages had decomposing breasts and all the fallen bodies had female silhouettes.
- Women who are too resistant to hypnosis are thrown in here.
Naruto whispered again, widening his eyes and taking a few steps back.
- No... the women who don't have chakra, or who don't serve their purpose, are the ones who get thrown in here. There's no way anyone could be resistant to hypnosis to the point of not being affected.
Sasuke answered, walking a few steps through the small pool of blood until he reached the corridor, in which the floor was concrete.
- But... why? What purposes?
Naruto asked, watching the two women a few steps behind Sasuke, both with dark, even pained looks on their faces.
- I said that women are seen with different eyes, and that we all have chakra, we just can't use it without something to activate it. Orochimaru uses the most promising women with the hope that the next generation will already be born with the knowledge of this energy, without the barriers we have. - Sasuke turned to Naruto, a look as dark as those of the two women near him. - Ryuzetsu was chosen to have a child with one of Orochimaru's men for this purpose, if she gives birth to a child without these restraints, she will be chosen to bear the children of several other men until her death.
Naruto widened his eyes again, this time with a dangerous glint in his eye as he digested that information. His fists clenched and his body tensed as it always did before a fight.
-... You're lying.
- No.
- Please. - Sasuke's eyes widened slightly in surprise as he heard Naruto's pained tone. - Tell me you're lying.
A plea hidden in frustration, Sasuke recognized well.
-... I'd like to say I'm lying, believe me... but unfortunately, I'm not.
Naruto closed his eyes tightly and leaned against the wall, lowering his head.
Sasuke was about to say something else, but was interrupted by a growling noise coming from the corridor he was in. The end of the corridor was dark, a place where candlelight did not reach.
He narrowed his eyes slightly as he stared into the dark place, and soon, yellow eyes stared back at him. A pair, then two, then four.
From the shadows, slightly hunchbacked creatures with tiger-sized bodies and black fur rushed toward them. Animal-like yellow eyes and sharp teeth covered in blood and saliva, large, thick noses similar to snouts, but relatively larger. They had human-like feet and hands but had claws instead of nails.
The creatures advanced quickly, and Sasuke turned, as did the two women to run from there. However, he was surprised when Naruto took the sword from his hands and cut one of those creatures in half in one quick movement.
The two parts separated and fell on opposite sides of the hallway, blood staining the floor.
Sasuke saw the anger and frustration in his companion's blue eyes, as well as the confusion as he looked at that creature's body.
-... What are those things?
He asked, his voice as deep as it had been when he had become angry back in that cell.
-... They are trolls.
Sasuke answered almost in a whisper, noticing the surprised looks of the two women behind him.
-Trolls are creatures made up to make children sleep. - He said with a bitter tone, but then turned to the other creatures approaching. The corridor was darkened by the huge number of trolls running towards them, some bigger than the others.
And among them, a relatively large one, using a piece of wood as a weapon. Apparently the leader.
- Naruto, I know you are trying to take your anger out on something, but we have to get out of here! There must be thousands of these things in here!
Sasuke said, and Naruto stared at him for a few moments, his eyes quivering in anger, until a sigh escaped his lips.
Turning around, Naruto snapped the head of another of the trolls in half and ran immediately after, standing next to Sakura who was doing the same. They ran down the other corridor, which was the only way. The sails went all the way down its enormous length, where they couldn't really see the end.
But they saw more trolls approaching from in front of them, not as many as were chasing them, but a lot.
Naruto and Sakura took the lead, the blond being the one going the furthest ahead.
Raising her sword, she hits one of the trolls that jumped towards her and breathing heavily as she prepares to attack again. Turning her body, she hits the other troll in front of her throwing it against the wall after splitting the creature's head in half.
Another troll leaped towards her, too fast for her to react in time with her sword, and instinctively, she put her arms in front of her body hoping to grab the creature and stop it from attacking her. However, she was surprised to see Naruto's sword cut the creature in half. A move so fast that it looked like he wasn't even holding a sword.
Spinning his body while crouching down at the same time, Naruto slashed at the next two trolls, thrusting his sword into the mouth of one that leaped toward him.
She was still amazed at Naruto's strength, even though she knew Choji would be able to do the same thing, if not even more. Maybe not with the same speed.
Maybe that was what surprised her, his speed. She knew he was... strange, to say the least. She had seen some situations where his body was in a different state than normal, as if his skin thinned and both his veins and the fibers of his muscles became extremely visible and he moved with incredible ferocity. She had seen it before in fights, in training.
For a few moments she looked at Sasuke, a silent question in which she was in doubt as to what the answer was.
Naruto threw his sword forward, impaling one of the trolls advancing towards him. Running, he grabbed the hilt of the sword before the creature hit the ground and used his body as a shield to throw himself against the rest of the trolls, piercing their bodies with the point of his sword as he ran and throwing them to the side, where Sakura was in charge of eliminating those survivors.
After some time running, they reached a place that converged in two directions, right and left.
- Ah fuck!
A door at the end of each corridor, each one different.
- Left.
Sasuke said, and Naruto turned to him.
- What? How do you know?
- The door is made to withstand pressure, see the peculiar shape? I know this town, I was here before it was taken and there is a big river nearby.
Sasuke said, walking down the hall and putting his hands on the round crank attached to the door.
- Damn, I'm going to need some help here.
Sasuke said, and Naruto handed his sword to Tayuya, who immediately attacked one of the trolls that had gotten too close, cutting part of its head off.
- Be quick, they're on our tail!
she said, standing right next to Sakura and killing all the creatures that were dangerously close.
Naruto and Sasuke clasped their hands on the crank and started to open it, no one had been there for a while, it was visible. The crank began to turn, and soon, they opened the door.
Slowly at first, but the force of the water was so great that it threw the door into the wall and rushed down the hall.
Naruto held on to the crank, as did Sasuke, and both watched as the two women leaped toward them.
Sasuke grabbed Sakura's arms and Tayuya grabbed Naruto's outstretched leg, holding tightly around his thigh.
Resting his hand on the metal part around the silhouette of the door, Sasuke pulls his body forward, fighting against the current, feeling Sakura entwine his neck with her arms.
Naruto was next, making the same movements as Sasuke, he began to pull himself against the current and could see the bottom of the river through the crystal clear water.
However, he felt his body being pulled back, and as he turned his head, he blinked a few times as he saw a troll clinging to Tayuya's leg, who was struggling as best she could against the creature.
Naruto put his free leg around the door bar and grabbed Tayuya's arms, beginning to pull her towards him. The woman stared at him for a while, but soon grabbed his waist and pulled herself against him, helping him move her.
As she got close enough, she entwined his neck with one of her arms while Naruto grabbed the troll's head.
His arms flexed again, and he stabbed his fingers into the creature's yellow eyes, watching the blood wash away along with the water. Naruto pierced the troll's eyes even deeper, and the creature let go of Tayuya's leg.
The blond quickly threw himself forward, beginning to swim to the surface, mentally thanking Temari for teaching him to swim. Tayuya still clung to his neck.
After a few moments, they reached the surface and gasped for air, swimming slowly toward the riverbank.
- I never. - Naruto coughed a few times. - I will never take a job from you again.
Sasuke laughed lightly, just after checking Sakura for injuries, and stood up from the wet earth.
- Do you believe in the supernatural now? In monsters and creatures out of books?
He asked, watching Naruto help Tayuya up.
- No.
Sasuke blinked.
- Really? Even after all that?
Naruto grumbled.
- And does it make any difference? Those things, trolls or whatever, bleed and die when I pierce their bodies, that's all that matters. If I can see, and I can kill, I don't give a damn what they are.
He straightened his posture, and Sasuke laughed again, putting one hand on his waist and the other on his wet hair.
- I say amen to that, if you don't mind. - Tayuya said, checking the mark on her leg, but seeing no wound deep enough to bleed. Soon after, she turned to Naruto. - Thank you.
- It's nothing.
He said, running his hand through his hair and wiping away the excess water, just before he started walking at a slow pace toward the base of the forest, looking at the city not far away.
- I guess I should thank you too. - This time it was Sakura who said it, causing Naruto to arch an eyebrow in genuine surprise. - You helped get us out of there. You could have just walked away.
She said, and he scratched the back of his neck after giving a small nod. He was not good at this sort of thing.
- Why did you stay?
she asked curiously.
- What?
He turned to her.
- I was going to ask you the same thing. - Sasuke said, arms crossed and back leaning against a tree. - Why did you stay?
- I... it's part of my job.
- No. I hired you to fight the sound army along with the fire army under my command, not to be a bodyguard. You could have just left me alone to save them both.
Sasuke asked, and Naruto stared at him with a blank expression.
Why had he stayed?
- I... I don't know.
he answered truthfully. By this point, he was considering that Sasuke had hypnotized him with the Sharingan.
Sasuke smiled, Sakura scratched her head and Tayuya stared at him strangely.
- You didn't use those demon eyes of yours on me, did you?
he asked suddenly, and Sasuke laughed out loud.
- What? No! I told you, I don't have the power of hypnosis.
- Oh, you told him?
Tayuya asked.
- Yes, circumstances called for it. As much as I'd like to talk, I'd prefer to do it as far away from here as possible. We're still very close to the city.
Sasuke said, turning and walking in the opposite direction of said town. Tayuya and Sakura stared at Naruto for a while, until they walked along with him.
Naruto sighed, his mind racing furiously.
Temari, Mifune, Ryuzetsu, hypnosis, magic eyes, strange energy, creatures taken from a fairy tale book... fuck.
What was he supposed to feel?
