Far away from the planet Earth and hidden among two uninhabited planets and scattered meteors is a floating spaceship.

In the spaceship was a dark bridge room with four massive pods inside at the far back, each in their own respective colors with symbols over them.

The first on the left was red, with the second blue, the third orange, and the fourth green.

It was empty as nothing was lit or active until a beeping sound came from the monitor as static appeared.

Then, a robot's face appeared on the screen, which was in the color scheme of red and blue, with the slight appearance of a semi-truck, with the windows, lights, and exhaust pipes on the back.

"I have a message for all the Autobots scattered throughout the galaxy," the robot spoke, as his voice was deep. "Though Cybertron has fallen, we still stand."

Then the screen switched to a map of a galaxy with arrows pointing at a planet among the stars and other planets.

"Follow these coordinates to join us," the robot continued speaking as strange letters appeared on the screen next to the picked planet. "Priority Prime."

After the screen played, the entire ship lit up, revealing the inside of the dark bridge as it showed large seats with one in the center and the three at the commands, with screens lighting up and the view of space appearing.

Then the ship started moving through space by command, exiting out of the meteors and leaving the planets, jumping into hyperspace.

Soon, the spaceship approached space and crashed landed on an island, landing on an empty spot of a base and crashing into the side of a tower.

After the spaceship crashed on land, the front of the spacecraft hissed and slowly lowered, extending a little as it created a bridge to step outside.

Then, slow footsteps echoed from inside the spaceship as two pairs of feet appeared in the sunlight, and a robot appeared, looking slightly dizzy as they wobbled a little.

The robot was buff and red with yellow pinprick eyes, looking around with confusion as they slowly stepped out.

Soon they were followed in pursuit by another robot from behind, except it was blue with yellow pinpricks.

They were slimmer than the first robot but at the same height as the first and were slightly groggy, lifting their hands up to cover their faces from the sun.

Then a third followed behind the second, a little thinner around the hips and orange, looking nervous about their new surroundings but groggy.

A final robot appeared from behind the third, having broad shoulders and green with round eyes instead of pinpricks like the others, blinking a few times before looking at the surroundings.

Everything looked shorter than they were at their height, towering around fifteen feet tall compared to the empty houses.

"What is this place?" the robot in green whispered, still slightly blinking as they grew accustomed to the light.

"Earth." The same voice from the video responded as all four turned around to see the same robot from before.

He was standing in a large empty room at the entrance of the shadows, staring at them.

Then, he stepped out of the shadows into the light, appearing to them as he towered slightly above their height.

"And I am Optimus Prime," the robot introduces himself, walking up to the group and stopping.

The robot in red saluted Optimus Prime, explaining, "Rescue Force Sigma-17 reporting for duty."

Optimus Prime's visor and battle mask dropped after the robot in red saluted him and said, "I was not aware rescue teams were…" he paused. "Still active."

"Wherever there is an emergency," the robot in blue explained. "There are rescue bots, sir."

"Wait, why wouldn't we be active?" The robot in orange asked, sounding confused. "How long were we in stasis?"

He turned to the others and said, "We better check in with Cybertron HQ."

"That will not be necessary," Optimus Prime spoke up. "Or possible. Cybertron is no longer our home. This planet is."

All four Autobots glanced at each other in horror, realizing that their home was gone forever.

On the island, there was a sign that read, 'Griffin Rock 1649,' as a seagull landed on the wooden sign.

Then a robot hand popped out from behind the wooden sign and shooed the seagull off the structure, prompting it to fly into the sky.

The seagull flew higher into the air before turning to the right as a blimp moved in front, showing the full view of the city of Griffin Rock.

An elderly man was mowing his front lawn when a businessman stepped out of his house and placed his helmet on, as it had a hat on it.

After putting his helmet on, the businessman took off in the air in his helicopter jetpack.

Then a young boy with fair skin and short, clipped blond hair came peddling down the sidewalk as a card was attached to the back wheel of his bike, clicking against the metal as he pedaled.

He wore a brown bomber jacket with fur around the collar, medium gray pants, brown boots, and a black helmet on his head.

The kid stopped pedaling and looked up at the sky, watching as the businessman in the helicopter jetpack hovered over him.

"Hi, Mr. Harrison!" the kid greeted him as he waved his hand.

Mr. Harrison did the same, though he stumbled with his helicopter jetpack as he shouted after flying over the kid, "I'M OKAY!"

In the background, a young girl was jumping rope on the sidewalk of her home, but the jump rope was automatic with no one else with her.

The kid returned to pedaling his bike down the sidewalk when a police siren went through the air, causing him to stop pedaling and look over to the road.

"Cody Burns," an adult voice spoke as a police car with a griffin symbol on the door stopped next to the kid named 'Cody Burns.' "Griffin Rock PD. Please pull over."

Sitting in the driver's seat was a middle-aged man with fair skin, short graying hair, and a mustache.

He wore blue police officers' clothes with a pocket on the right side of his chest and a clip on his collar on the right side.

He also wore black pants with a belt around his waist, a pouch on the right, and black shoes.

"I figured you wanted to say goodbye to the old rustbucket," the police officer mentioned, gently patting the bottom of the rolled-down window. "It's her last day on the job."

Cody sighed as he asked, "I still don't understand why the city is giving you a new car, Dad. This one works fine."

"Progress, kiddo," Cody's dad assured. "Our town wouldn't be a high-tech testing ground if we stayed bad."

Sitting next to him in the passenger seat was a young man with fair skin and short red hair with bangs.

He wears a white, short-sleeved shirt, brown suspenders with a clip on the right strap, yellow fireman's pants, and black boots.

"Give it up, Dad," he remarked with a chuckle. "If Cody had his way, we'd be pedaling everywhere."

Then a young woman with fair skin and short, spiky dark brown hair, wearing a pilot's suit, except the jacket is off and tied around her waist, revealing her white short-sleeved shirt and brown shoes.

"Of course, you'll be still on training wheels, Kade," she remarked as another man from the back reached over to him, named 'Kade.'

He has fair skin and short-medium brown clipped hair and wears black rectangle glasses and a long-sleeved dark pearl shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his biceps.

He also wore navy blue jeans and black boots, with a tool belt around his waist filled with various items, a mint tie, and a pocket on the left side of his chest with a clip on the right side of his collar.

"Yeah," he laughed as he ruffled Kade's hair. "The helmet might mess up your hair!"

"Quit it, Graham!" Kade barked as he sat back down.

"Don't forget to be at the dedication this afternoon," the father remarked.

Cody walked closer to the police car and asked, "Think I could test drive the-?"

"Cody," the woman interrupted. "We're getting rescue vehicles, not go-karts."

"Sorry, pal," Graham apologized as he showed his badge to Cody. "For authorized emergency responders only."

Graham shrugged after explaining to Cody, as Cody sighed, saying with a sad expression, "So basically, everyone in the family but me."

"I have to drop these troublemakers off and catch a chopper to the mainland," the father explained. "You get your bottom to school."

Then he reached over to Cody and placed an assuring hand on his shoulder, adding, "And Cody, give it time. You'll find your place."

The police car drove off as Cody watched it drive away, thinking to himself about what his dad said… although he did want to be a part of the team.

Meanwhile, Optimus Prime looked at the line of Rescue Force Sigma-17 members and named each one of them.

"Heatwave, Chase, Blades, Boulder," he named, going from the robot in red, blue, orange, and green. "After careful consideration, I have chosen your new mission."

"Nice!" Heatwave smiled as he fist-pumped.

"We are happy to join the battle, sir," Chase saluted.

"So when do we 'roll out?'" Heatwave asked.

"You do not," Heatwave's smile faded after Optimus Prime answered, turning back around to them. "As perhaps the last rescue bots in existence, you are uniquely suited to help the people of this planet, even learn from them."

"You mean we'll interact with humans?" Boulder asked, glancing over at his friends.

"You will be ambassadors to the people of this planet," Optimus Prime explained. "The first Autobots to live with a human family, study their customs, obey their rules, and work together to keep this planet safe. During this mission, you four must appear to the humans as machines. Robots in disguise."

Heatwave had his arms crossed over his chest with an unamused expression on his face after Optimus Prime gave his speech, hissing, "What?"

Optimus Prime understood Heatwave's expression and explained, "While the people of Earth are comfortable with advanced technology, the idea of alien beings living among them will undoubtedly cause panic."

"So we can help the humans as long as we hide our true selves," Heatwave explained, still having the unamused expression.

"You are right to question what is right for your team, Heatwave," Optimus Prime assured. "That is why I am asking you to lead this mission."

Optimus Prime held out his hand to Heatwave for a handshake, and Heatwave hesitated before accepting Optimus Prime's handshake.

After Heatwave shook Optimus Prime's hand, Optimus Prime walked over to the garage and pressed a button, revealing four vehicles for each rescue bot to have for themselves.

The first was a red fire truck, the second was a green bulldozer, the third was a blue police car, and the fourth was an orange helicopter.

"To maintain your cover," Optimus Prime explained as the garage revealed the vehicles. "You will each adopt a vehicle mode based on Earth technology."

"Whoa," Boulder remarked as he stepped forward, mentioning the bulldozer. "Look at those lines! This thing's a powerhouse!"

"Boulder," Optimus Prime spoke as Boulder glanced up at him. "Do you wish to scan first?"

Boulder nodded after Optimus Prime asked and turned back around to the bulldozer as his eyes glowed green, and a scan came out of them, scanning the bulldozer from the front.

After scanning it, Boulder soon transformed into the vehicle, which fit perfectly for him.

Heatwave stepped up next and looked at the firetruck, remarking, "Huh. Primitive, but apparently, they did this one for what I did back home."

Then Heatwave's eyes glowed red and scanned the firetruck, transforming into his new vehicle mode.

"Is this what Earth authorities use for rule enforcement?" Chase asked, mentioning the police car.

Optimus Prime nodded his head after Chase asked, and Chase's eyes glowed blue, scanning the car before transforming.

All that was left was Blades as he looked at the helicopter, hesitating to take his chance to scan the vehicle.

"It seems your choice is made for you, Blades," Optimus Prime mentioned as Blades glanced over at the helicopter.

Blades walked up to the helicopter, and his eyes glowed yellow, scanning the helicopter and transforming.

Then he hovered over the air for a second as he exclaimed, with a terrified tone in his voice, "Wait. This thing flies?!"

Boulder moved up after Blades exclaimed, explaining to Optimus Prime, "He doesn't like heights."

Then the door opened as Optimus Prime glanced over, watching as the man from before stepped inside.

"This is Chief Charlie Burns," Optimus Prime introduced. "He knows our secret, and we'll help you keep yours. Rescue bots, good luck."

Chief Burns glanced over in the wrong direction and said, "It is an honor and privilege."

"Over here," Heatwave responded as Chief Burns glanced over in the right direction, seeing a slight mix-up between the eight of them.

Meanwhile, Chief Burns was attending the show in the center of the town while Cody was locking his bike in the bike rack when a voice shouted, "Cody, come here!"

Cody glanced over and saw the young girl poking her head out of the crowd and waving her hand at him, holding a flier in the other.

She had dark skin and puffy jet-black hair in two pigtails and wore a long-sleeved light pink sweater with a knee-long sky blue dress, fair-colored tights, and white sneakers with medium blue socks.

She re-entered the crowd after waving at Cody, and he followed the girl into the group as he squeezed through.

Soon, he reached the front of the stage and found her standing next to a man.

He has dark skin with jet-black dreadlocks, but the sides of his head have gray streaks.

He wore a pair of goggles on top of his head, a blue-ish purple long-sleeved shirt with a collar, a white lab doctor's coat with a pocket on the right side of the chest filled with pens and pencils, a purple tie with green polka dots, dark blue pants with baggy ends, and black boots.

"Hey Doc, Frankie," he greeted as he placed his hands in his pockets.

"Isn't this exciting?" Frankie asked, now with the flier open. "The tech is like something I have never seen!"

Chief Burns cleared his throat after everyone came to the stage, as Cody glanced up at his dad, announcing, "Um, thank you for coming, folks."

He smiled after his dad announced, as Frankie explained, "I'm not talking about the rescue stuff. I'm talking about this!"

She pointed at the front of the flier as it showed a picture of a T-Rex ripping through the page as she explained, "The new exhibit at the museum!"

"Cyberwired saurian structures infused with cretaceous DNA!" Frankie remarked as she read what was in the pamphlet.

"Our town has a long history of being on the cutting edge of new technology," Chief Burns continued. "Now, thanks to our friends in Washington, I give you the latest emergency response, the Rescue Bots!"

The bottom of the stage behind Chief Burns opened with the same colors as the previous vehicles, as a platform underneath them slowly revealed itself to the public.

First was the fire truck, then the bulldozer, the police car, and the helicopter.

The crowd murmured and clapped their hands after the vehicles appeared, then Chief Burns turned around to the automobiles, commanding, "Robots, transform!"

The fire truck transformed into a robot from Chief Burns' response, including the bulldozer, the police car, and the helicopter.

Each of them had visors covering their eyes and a symbol on their chest, but it looked strange to Cody with those symbols.

The crowd's murmurs and cheers grew louder after the vehicle transformed, amazed at how much work was put into them.

"These robotic rescue vehicles will streamline our resources," Chief Burns continued. "Now one human teamed with one robot can do the entire work of a police force."

He mentioned the police robot before mentioning the firetruck robot with Kade, who is wearing a fireman's helmet, black gloves with a jacket, "Fire department."

Then he mentioned to the helicopter bot with the sister, wearing her jacket and dark brown gloves, "Emergency response unit."

And the last was the bulldozer bot with Graham, wearing a helmet while holding a tablet in his hands, finishing, "And engineering corps."

"Each robot is programmed to respond only to the commands of its handlers," Chief Burns explained as the kids walked up to him as he finished. "So you can sleep at night, knowing that Griffin Rock is protected by the best technology and humanity that it can offer."

Everyone cheered after the introduction finished while a figure hiding behind a tree watched everything, having an expression of worry before hiding slightly.

Then, a butterfly flew over to the bulldozer robot, landing perfectly on its nose.

The bulldozer robot lifted its arm up to touch the butterfly when the firetruck robot next to it elbowed it in the chest, causing it to glance over at the other and move its hand down.

Cody perked after watching the two robots move and even watched as the bulldozer robot blew the butterfly off its nose.

"Hey," Cody spoke to Frankie as she was still distracted by reading the dinosaur pamphlet in her hands. "That robot moved on its own!"

Seeing that Frankie was not noticing, Cody climbed onto the stage by himself and walked up to the bulldozer robot, staring at it in confusion.

In confusion, Cody knocked against the bulldozer's foot to see if it would move again, but it did not, as Cody looked suspicious.

"Hey, kid," Cody glanced over to the side to see a reporter with a floating recording camera, holding a spare in his hands.

He has fair skin with short, neat light brown hair and wore a dark red suit with a white button-up shirt and white shoes.

"Can you move?" he asked as he made a 'shoo' mention with his hand. "I want a photo of the Burns family of heroes."

Cody glanced over at his family after he asked as they were getting their pictures taken, prompting Cody to sigh again and wince when the light from the camera flashed in his eyes.

Then, Chief Burns' clip on his collar beeped as he pressed the green button, saying, "This is the Chief. Go ahead."

Someone spoke through the clip after Chief Burns gave the permission, as he turned to his siblings, "Fire at the Natural History Museum."

Instantly, the firetruck robot transformed into its vehicle mode as Cody watched in shock, seeing another thing happen again as he took a step back.

"Hey," Kade remarked after the fire truck robot transformed. "I didn't tell it to do that!"

"It's new technology, son," Chief Burns assured. "Bound to be some bugs."

So everyone got into their new vehicles and started to drive off to the Natural History Museum while the sister was having trouble with her bot.

"Oh, come on!" she huffed. "Faster! We're being outrun by a bulldozer!"

"I do not understand," the helicopter rescue bot responded.

"Not. So. Slow." she slowly explained, trying to push the controllers forward.

"Fly low," the helicopter rescue bot nodded. "Understood."

She groaned after the helicopter rescue bot affirmed her commands in the wrong way as everyone continued heading towards the Natural History Museum.

Meanwhile, Cody watched the rescue from behind before becoming more suspicious and decided to follow them to see further into the investigation.

Chief Burns was the first to arrive at the scene as everyone was at the steps of the building, and he commanded, "Transform and clear the museum of civilians."

The police rescue bot transformed and spoke, "Please evacuate in an orderly fashion."

Chief Burns helped the others while the police rescue bot searched for other civilians before returning with two mummies in his hands after the firetruck Rescue Bot arrived. "These humans did not respond."

Chief Burns chuckled after the police rescue bot explained and said, "Well, I don't think we need to worry too much about them, partner."

Kade stepped out of his firetruck Rescue Bot and began to sweep the water over the fire to prevent it from spreading as the bulldozer rescue bot arrived with Graham.

"We need to move the planters to create a fire block," Graham explained.

"But I-" the bulldozer rescue bot stuttered before changing expression to a monotone, "That will destroy the harmonious nature of the plaza's design."

A confused expression appeared on Graham's face after the bulldozer rescue bot spoke, murmuring, "What?" but moving forward to pick up the planters and move them to the side.

Soon the helicopter rescue bot landed, and Kade chuckled, glancing over at the sister as she stepped out, "Nice of you to show up, Dani."

"Would have been here sooner if my ride wasn't stuck in neutral," Dani huffed as she walked over with a medical kit. "Next time, I'm walking."

Cody poked his head from behind the bushes to watch as the helicopter rescue bot sighed, feeling more suspicious about these strange creations.

Once the fire had died down from being washed out by fire, the rescue team entered the dinosaur exhibit as everything was dripping with water, even from the sprinklers.

"The short started the fire," Graham explained, looking at the tail of one of the dinosaurs. "But this should hold for a while. The cyber wire is too much for these old circuits."

In the background, Cody snuck into the dripping wet dinosaur exhibit and hid behind a column as Dani and Kade walked over to where Chief Burns and Graham were.

Then he peeked around the side of the column to look at his family, curious about what was about to happen next.

"Well, it's a good thing nobody got hurt," Chief Burns remarked with a relieved sigh.

Until the head of the Brontosaurus glitched and came off, heading towards Graham and Chief Burns!

Then Chief Burns hopped over to Graham to protect him until the firetruck rescue bot's hand moved forward quickly, grabbing the Brontosaurus' head before it could hit them both.

"I didn't tell it to do that," Kade remarked with a shocked expression.

In the background, Cody snuck behind the two and hid behind a T-Rex dinosaur, then hid again.

"I wouldn't complain," Dani remarked as they walked over to Chief Burns and Graham.

Over his shoulder, Chief Burns nodded at the firetruck Rescue Bot and glanced over at his children, explaining to Kade, "Your robot was still in rescue mode. You gave him the directive to save lives, so he did."

Kade smirked as he crossed his arms over his chest and proudly said, "You're welcome, Graham."

Dani groaned after Kade smirked while his firetruck Rescue Bot quietly growled in anger.

Graham only smiled a little after Kade remarked before leaving the dinosaur exhibit with the Rescue Bots.

Then, Cody poked his head from around the leg of the T-Rex, looking more suspicious about the robots until a drop of water landed on his nose, causing him to wipe it off and glance up at the T-Rex.

Seeing that the T-Rex was dripping water, Cody walked away from the T-Rex to follow his family.

Then, a drop of water landed on the T-Rex's circuits, and its eyes flickered before being reactivated.

At night, the Rescue Bots were in the spacious garage resting for a moment until Heatwave transformed and walked over to the panel.

"Where are you going?" Boulder asked as he watched Heatwave walk over to the panels.

"I need some space," Heatwave responded, flicking a couple of switches with the tip of his fingers. "Chief said that there's a bunker below street level. Relic of something they call the 'Cold War.'"

Heatwave carefully pushed another leaver, and the floor started to move down to the ground as Chase transformed.

"Apparently, we're getting some space too," Chase informed.

"Wait for me!" Blades called as he transformed midway, jumping and landing perfectly on the platform as Boulder did the same.

After the platform was halfway in the bunker, the top of the entrance was sealed with a door.

Meanwhile, the Burns family enjoyed dinner while talking to each other, as Kade and Dani were not wearing jackets or gloves.

Graham wore an unzipped dark powder blue sweater while Cody was not wearing his bomber jacket, looking silent as the four siblings talked.

"I still don't get it," Cody spoke as he barely ate his food. "How did Kade's robot know how to-"

"Pass the carrots, huh?" Dani interrupted as Graham handed her a bowl of carrots. "I noticed a glitch or two with my copter, but at least I had it under control."

She glanced over at Kade with a slight smirk as Kade glared slightly but was chewing a mouthful of food.

"A glitch is one thing," Cody continued. "But I saw-"

"Kade," Chief Burns interrupted, placing a bowl of mashed potatoes in the center of the table and wearing an apron with a woman's body in a bikini. "Dani, Graham. You guys did great work today."

The siblings smiled after Chief Burns remarked… while Cody sighed, seeing that he could not explain what he had seen.

So he glanced up at Chief Burns and asked, "Can I be excused?"

Chief Burns nodded his head after Cody asked as he walked away and headed towards the fire pole, sliding down to the garage.

Heatwave was punching a wooden dummy while speaking in anger, "Optimus or no Optimus. I don't know how long I can put up with this!"

Chase was wiping himself with a small towel while Boulder was looking at some artwork in his hands he found, and Blades was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest.

"Ordered around," Heatwave growled as he punched. "Letting others take the credit!" he said, striking the wooden dummy again. "Having to pretend we're tin cans."

After he growled the last sentence, Heatwave punched the ground of the wooden dummy stand in frustration as it emitted a small earthquake.

"Well, did you see the way my partner pilots me?" Blades asked as he pointed at himself. "My controls are still sore. It's always 'higher, higher! Faster, faster!' Still… it was nice to be a part of an emergency response again."

"I find our Chief quite competent," Chase remarked as he finished wiping himself with the towel. "There is much he can teach us about the Earth's law enforcement procedures."

"The humans do have some strange ways," Boulder remarked as he looked at the painting in his hands before showing it to his friends as it had red, yellow, light yellow, and black splatters. "But that's what makes them so interesting."

Heatwave jumped down from his wooden dummy stand and landed perfectly on his feet as he frowned, "I'm leaving."

"You can't leave!" Boulder mentioned. "You're our leader!"

"Then we'll all go," Heatwave snapped as he glanced away, still fuming with anger. "Those humans will never understand us. We'll never belong here!"

"I know what you mean." Heatwave glanced over to the side after hearing someone else's voice speak, seeing that it was the Chief's younger son who slid down the fire pole.

Instantly, they all reverted to 'robot' mode and stayed perfectly still as the kid said, "Don't bother. You're not fooling anybody. Trust me, living in Griffin Rock, I know robots and you guys," he paused as he chuckled, crossing his arms over his chest. "Worst robots I've ever seen."

"We've failed at our mission," Chase lamented. "Our cover is blown. If this human knows, he'll tell the others."

"Are you kidding?!" the kid exclaimed as he walked up to the others. "And waste the chance to know something they don't? Something this huge? I'm the best thing that could have happened to your mission. 'Cause I'm gonna teach you everything you need to know about Earth."

"Can you teach me how to make my human stop yelling?" Blades asked.

"Dani?" the kid remarked. "I don't think anyone can do that!"

Then he held out his hand to Blades and introduced himself, "I'm Cody."

"I'm Blades," Blades introduced himself as he gently shook Cody's hand.

"Boulder," Boulder pointed at himself.

"Classified," Chase nodded.

"That's Chase," Boulder mentioned to him.

"And I'm Heatwave." Heatwave stepped forward. "So, Cody, now that you know what we are," he leaned forward. "Name one good reason why we shouldn't leave this-"

He instantly stopped after something in the background shifted, causing him to glance over where the noises were emitted, along with the others, including Cody.

"What was that?" Blades asked, moving his knees together as he hunched down slightly.

"I don't think that was a raccoon," Cody remarked.

Heatwave instantly walked over to the noise as shifting noises happened again near a large round metal door.

Something fell over and landed on something that caused someone to yelp, seeing a slightly smaller person in the shadows fidgeting with something.

He moved closer, and the person stopped moving, gasping after seeing Heatwave loom over them.

"Uh, Cody?" Heatwave spoke after looking at the person, glancing slightly over his shoulder. "Is this human a relative of yours?"

A confused expression appeared on Cody's face after Heatwave asked, walking over to where he was to see a young girl with her shirt trapped underneath a box.

She had fair skin that was slightly covered in dirt and slight scratches and long, straight jet-black hair that reached down to her hips but was messy and looked like it had not had a bath in a week.

The young girl had cyber blue eyes and was staring at Heatwave with terror, frozen at where she was and not moving an inch.

She wore a long-sleeved dark brown oversized shirt with slightly ripped black tights with the ends destroyed.

"Uh, no, Heatwave," Cody winced as the other three robots glanced over where Heatwave was. "She's not a sibling."

They perked after Cody answered and reverted to 'robot mode' as the young girl panicked, trying to get away from them and Cody, but struggling with her oversized shirt as it was stuck from behind.

"H-Hey," Cody assured, stepping forward and placing a hand on her shoulder as she stopped. "It's okay. They are friendly," He paused and glanced up at Heatwave and the others, asking, "Right?"

They glanced at each other after Cody asked as Heatwave removed his visor, answering, "Depends. But if we are here to help humans, then we are."

The young girl stared at Heatwave with a somewhat confused expression as Cody removed his hand from her shoulder.

"We can help you with your stuck shirt if you want," Cody mentioned, pointing at her shirt as she looked over at it. "But you're going to have to trust Heatwave."

The young girl glanced up at Heatwave as he moved closer, causing her to flinch, but she did not move away from him.

He grabbed the box and lifted it up without a struggle, releasing the young girl from being stuck as she moved back.

Then Heatwave placed the box down somewhere else as she stood up to her feet from being in the shadows, seeing that she had almost invisible black lines around her joints.

The lines are around the bottom of her neck, her fingers, wrists, ankles, and toes.

She also has pointed elf ears with twelve ear cuffs on her ears, each in their own separate colors.

The first hoop ear cuff was red, with the others being orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, white, black, cyan, brown, and pink.

But she was a little shorter than Cody, reaching around three feet and five inches tall.

"Who are you?" Cody asked after the young girl stood up.

She opened her mouth to respond but closed it as she glanced briefly up at the Rescue Bots and nervously rubbed the back of her hand.

"What's wrong?" Boulder asked, startling the young girl as she flinched.

She hesitated after Boulder asked before thinking to herself before making an 'X' symbol with her first fingers over her mouth.

"You don't want to speak?" Blades asked.

She shook her head no and made the mention again, as it clicked in Cody's mind as she pointed at her throat.

"You don't know how to speak?" Cody asked, surprised that her parents did not teach her how to speak.

She nodded her head yes.

"But," Heatwave spoke, feeling confused. "You can understand what we are saying, right?"

She nodded yes after Heatwave asked, looking nervous about him and his teammates looming over her.

Cody paused after the young girl nodded his head before saying, "Wait right here."

He ran off as the young girl perked, looking worried about what would happen next but nervously looking up at the Rescue Bots.

"Why is she wearing those clothes?" Boulder asked with confusion. "Is that a part of the human's clothes?"

"I don't think so," Chase responded with a shake of his head. "Most humans I have seen have clean clothes, but barely any of them had dirty clothes or ripped."

The young girl looked down at her clothes after Chase mentioned them, feeling self-conscious about them as she glanced back up at the four.

Cody returned with a notebook in his hands with a pencil, writing on the paper before showing it to the young girl, as it had two words, 'Yes' and 'No.'

"You can write in this notebook by marking underneath yes or no whenever we ask you a question," Cody suggested.

The young girl squinted her eyes slightly as she looked at the notebook but nodded her head as Cody suggested.

"Okay," Cody nodded. "First off, how did you get in here?"

The young girl pointed at the large entrance at the back of the bunker as Cody asked, "You used the underground tunnels?"

She nodded after Cody asked before Chase asked, "All alone through those tunnels?"

"Yeah, where are your parents?" Cody asked, turning his attention to her. "Do they know that you are here?"

The young girl paused after Cody asked, glancing thoughtfully at the notebook before using the pencil.

Then, she showed the notebook, as there was a somewhat scribble of a marking underneath 'No.'

Cody winced as the Rescue Bots glanced at each other after she showed them the notebook, as Heatwave asked, "So you snuck in here without us or Cody's family noticing?"

The young girl scribbled something on the notebook and showed it to Cody and the Rescue Bots, as she had scribbled underneath 'Yes.'

"That is very dangerous," Cody spoke to the young girl as she listened to him. "You could've gotten lost in the tunnels or encountered something that could harm you."

"Yeah," Heatwave nodded. "Right now, we need to take you back home to your parents and explain what happened."

"Perfect idea," Cody nodded. "And I'll show you how to use the tunnels too!"

Then he turned to the young girl, adding, "And you will promise to never tell anyone about this, right?"

The young girl scribbled underneath 'Yes' and showed it to Cody, promising him to keep the rescue bot's secret away from the public eye.

"Good," Heatwave nodded before returning his attention back to Cody. "Back to what I was saying;" he knelt down to Cody and repeated, "Name one good reason we shouldn't leave this planet right now."

As Cody led the Rescue Bots and the young girl out of the tunnel, he explained, "There are tunnels like this one all over the island."

He climbed onto a rock at their height as the young girl did the same, sitting comfortably on it while looking at the surroundings.

"And they all end in the bunker," Cody grinned, mentioning the tunnel with a jab of his thumb as the young girl glanced over at the tunnel curiously. "Great for sneaking out of the firehouse."

"Whoa," Chase and Cody glanced over at Boulder as he stared at the view of the night sky, looking mesmerized. "It's like a million optics set in carbon. So beautiful."

The young girl glanced at the sky, silently agreeing with him at how beautiful it looked from where they were.

"I guess it kind of is," Cody agreed with a slightly confused expression, then turned to Heatwave. "So, why would you ever want to leave?"

Heatwave repositioned himself after Cody asked and explained everything to Cody, even how he felt being treated.

So, to help Heatwave and his friends with the slight bumps on the road with their partners, Cody introduces them to an old-fashioned drive-in movie nearby, deciding to wait until morning to find the young girl's parents with Chief Burns.

He does not want to do it right now, or else the parents would wake up the neighborhood with their loud scolding.

The movie showed a robot attacking the city, and Cody explained, "This is what everyone will expect you to act like."

He was sitting on the top of Heatwave's wheel while eating a bucket of popcorn, mentioning the movie as he said, "See?"

Then he handed the popcorn to the young girl as he hopped off, showing them and explaining, "Lock your legs, and stick out your arms." He gave a brief demonstration before turning to the others. "You try."

The Rescue Bots transformed while the young girl was eating Cody's popcorn he handed to her and watched as they did the same thing as Cody did, walking around like actual robots.

All except Heatwave, as he watched his teammates walk around like robots before glancing down at Cody, who slightly glared at him and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Really?" Heatwave asked, rolling his eyes and looking briefly at the readers before doing the same thing.

In the background, Blades was doing the robot dance moves while making robot noises as Cody chuckled, "I don't know where you learned that, but no."

So Blades stopped and returned to what he was doing as Heatwave knelt in front of Cody, asking, "Look, Cody, I understand what you are doing, but what I don't understand is how," Heatwave changed his voice to a robot voice as he said, "Talking like this." Then he switched back to normal. "Is going to make my ride-along respect me?"

"The trick with Kade is to make him think he's in charge," Cody explained as he had his arms crossed over his chest. "Trust me, I've been doing this for years."

The young girl perked after Cody explained to Heatwave as she finished the bucket of popcorn, glancing away from him for a moment before looking back at him curiously.

There was something that she wanted to say… but she just could not find the right words to say or how she could speak them.

Even writing was hard for her since she had never had experience with it.

A sudden dinosaur's roar perked everyone's attention as they glanced over as Blades asked, "Is that part of the film?"

But it was not coming from the film until they glanced over at the street, watching as a T-Rex was storming down the road, biting down on a street lamp and tossing it as if it were grass.

"I know I'm new here," Blade spoke as he glanced at the others. "But aren't dinosaurs extinct?"

The T-Rex roared again as Heatwave frowned, saying, "This one's about to be!"

He slammed his fist against his palm and was about to charge toward the dinosaur when Cody and the young girl stood in front of him, and Cody exclaimed, "Heatwave, wait!"

"Look, if anyone sees you are taking down that dino on your own," Cody explained. "There goes your cover and your mission."

The T-Rex looks up at the sign of the drive-in movie theaters and roars as Boulder remarks, "It's attracted to the lights!"

Then the T-Rex entered the drive-in and peeked through the back windows of the cars.

Cody quickly turned to Chase and ordered, "Chase, hit your lights!"

Chase instantly used his police lights as the sirens went off, distracting the T-Rex from the drive-in movie theaters and heading towards the Rescue Bots.

"That got his attention," Chase remarked. "Now what?"

"We need to lure him somewhere with no people around," Cody ordered.

"Rescue Bots," Heatwave turned to his teammates. "Roll to the rescue!"

All the Rescue Bots transformed and headed down the street from where they were, as Cody and the young girl watched them leave.

But Heatwave screeched to a halt and backed up, stopping in front of the young girl and Cody, opening his doors for them.

Cody smiled and climbed into the seat as the young girl took the passenger seat next to Cody, as the T-Rex chased after them.

Heatwave and the group led the T-Rex down the street as it chased after them until Heatwave was next to it, causing it to roar.

Cody and the young girl gasped as Cody got a hold of the driving wheel, and Heatwave applied more speed, driving forward as the T-Rex snapped at the back.

On the screen, Cody and the young girl can watch as the T-Rex follows the group from behind, and Cody remarks, "He's following us, but we're going to need an assist."

Then Heatwave's face popped up on the monitor and said, "I'll comlink the Chief in."

The screen glitched briefly before Chief Burns' face appeared on the monitor as he said, "Rescue Headquarters, go ahead."

"Dad, uh," Cody stammered as the young girl winced but glanced up at Cody before glancing at Chief Burns. "Okay, first, don't worry. I'm with the Rescue Bots."

"What?!" Chief Burns exclaimed as he leaned halfway over the controls. "Who gave you permission to-"

"They did!" Cody exclaimed before correcting himself. "I mean, uh. Dad, I don't know how to tell you this, but the Rescue Bots aren't robots. They're from another planet! They're aliens!"

The young girl glanced at Cody with a shocked expression, as she did not expect that to come out of Cody's mouth.

Chief Burns only stayed silent after Cody explained everything to him as he asked, "How long have you known?"

The young girl glanced at the monitor with confusion as Cody asked, "Wait, you know?!"

Meanwhile, Chief Burns spoke through the microphone as he asked, "Cody, where are you?"

The screen glitched, and Chase's face appeared on the monitor and explained, "Chief Burns, if I may. We are headed westbound on Lake Street with a dinosaur in pursuit."

"A dinosaur?!" Chief Burns exclaimed. "Again?!"

Back with Cody, he was looking over his shoulder to watch the T-Rex as Chief Burns asked, "Cody, you aren't driving, are you?"

Cody glanced at the driving wheel in his hands and removed them quickly, answering as he placed them next to him, "No."

The young girl chuckled a little after Cody asked before Chief Burns asked, "Who's that next to you, Cody?"

"Uh, about that," Cody spoke as the young girl glanced over at the monitor, sheepishly waving her hand. "I'll explain everything once we handle the dinosaur."

Heatwave picked up his speed as the T-Rex chased after them from behind, as the same car Chief Burns drove in appeared on the street ahead of them, with the other siblings inside.

"Why did we take the old squad car?" Kade complained.

Then the sirens grew closer as the Rescue Bots drove past them with the T-Rex behind them, roaring and chomping at them but missing each time.

"That's why," Chief Burns mentioned, before adding that the siblings had confused expressions. "I'll explain later."

The Rescue Bots continued down the street before reaching a forest and hiding behind the bushes as the T-Rex followed them, searching for them as they had their lights and sirens off.

But the T-Rex eventually lost sight of them and walked away as Chief Burns arrived with the others.

Kade walked over to the firetruck Rescue Bot and opened the door, exclaiming, "Cody, you jacked my ride?!"

Cody stepped out from the firetruck Rescue Bot with the young girl and explained, "Listen, the T-Rex likes lights!"

Then Kade climbed into the firetruck Rescue Bot as Cody explained, "I think you should-"

"Less talk," Kade interrupted as he closed the door. "More action!"

Then drove off as Chief Burns brought Cody closer to him along with the young girl, pausing when he saw her condition.

Chief Burns moved in front of Cody and the young girl, shielding them both from danger as the T-Rex suddenly appeared in front of them and roared.

The firetruck Rescue Bot came in with loud honks of its horns and sirens as the T-Rex roared and tried attacking, but the bulldozer Rescue Bot moved in, tipping it to the side as it pushed with its left hind leg.

"Whoa!" Graham exclaimed as the controls moved underneath his hands, watching as they moved on their own. "This machine almost drives itself!"

The T-Rex roared again and chased after the firetruck Rescue Bot as Chief Burns led Cody and the young girl into the other police car, saying, "Stay here."

He closed the door before running over to the police Rescue Bot, climbed inside, and drove off, chasing after the T-Rex as the firetruck Rescue Bot was ahead.

Meanwhile, Dani was having trouble with the controls as she hissed, "Come on! We have to fly closer to the dinosaur, or we're useless! Cody, what did you do to our robots?"

"If you need him to do what you want," Cody responded through the microphone. "You have to ask nicely."

"Cody," Kade snapped. "Get off this channel! It's for emergency responders only!"

"Pipe down, Kade," Chief Burns ordered, silencing Kade. "Cody spotted the dinosaur first. For now, he's on the team."

"Fine by me," Graham shrugged. "Got any ideas, Cody?"

"Not exactly," Cody responded as he spoke through the radio as the young girl listened next to him. "But I know someone who will!"

The phone rang, and someone woke up from the phone ringing and picked it up, revealing it to be Frankie from before.

"Hello?" Frankie answered before perking after hearing the voice speak. "Cody? 'The dinosaur exhibit?' Fine, now you're interested."

Near the extra cell behind the police station, the bulldozer Rescue Bot is now punching the walls with Graham's help, looking at the schematics on his tablet.

"How is it going, Graham?" Cody asked, speaking through the comlinks.

"Almost there," Graham answered before looking up at the bulldozer Rescue Bot and pointing. "Just a little more to the right."

The bulldozer Rescue Bot glanced over at Graham before punching the wall, and it finished removing the wall from around the cell, and the helicopter Rescue Bot hovered with the spotlight shining on them.

"Preparing to lift the payload," Dani remarked as she dropped the hook down for the bulldozer Rescue Bot to grab.

The bulldozer Rescue Bot grabbed the hook and connected it to the cell as Graham responded, "Good to go, Dani. Do you think this will hold the Tyrannosaur?"

"We'll find out," Dani remarked as the helicopter Rescue Bot lifted it to the sky.

Meanwhile, the police Rescue Bot continued driving down the dirt road while the T-Rex followed behind it, snapping at it from behind and roaring.

"Keep him busy, Dad," Cody remarked. "Dani's on her way."

Chief Burns made a tight turn after seeing no road ahead of him and a deep ditch with a mud pile in the middle.

The T-Rex did the same, still following the police Rescue Bot from behind, roaring and snapping.

Kade was spraying water down the side of the ditch to create a mudslide and stopped, asking, "Now, how are we supposed to get that thing over here?"

"Thought you'd never ask," a deep and gravelly voice spoke, startling Kade as he glanced over at his firetruck Rescue Bot, who had just spoken to him.

Kade exclaimed after the firetruck Rescue Bot spoke and automatically wheeled the hose in before transforming.

The firetruck Rescue Bot then climbed on the side of the ditch and turned its lights on, catching the attention of the T-Rex.

The T-Rex roared after the firetruck Rescue Bot turned its alarm on and charged toward the firetruck Rescue Bot as the firetruck Rescue Bot prepared itself.

When the T-Rex was close enough, the firetruck Rescue Bot then tossed the T-Rex over its body and into the ditch, sliding down the muddy slide Kade created using water.

The T-Rex roared and snarled as it tried to get up from the ground but slipped against the mud and landed on its back.

The T-Rex repeated the same process repeatedly but kept slipping on its back while roaring in anger.

Cody and the young girl watched after the T-Rex landed on its back as the helicopter Rescue Bot arrived with the cell, and Dani said, speaking through the speaker, "Incoming air support!"

The cell landed around the T-Rex, trapping it successfully as the T-Rex roared and kicked against the cell with its feet, trying to get itself out of its jail.

Cody and the young girl slowly crept close to the T-Rex as it struggled in its cell, and Cody mumbled, "I hope Frankie was right."

Before screaming in startlement after the T-Rex banged against the cell, causing Cody and the young girl to take a single step back.

The T-Rex banged again, and Cody quickly found the control panel, activating it as it showed a single switch inside.

He grabbed the lever and tugged, fighting against the T-Rex's fight and the stuck lever.

The young girl noticed the trouble and went in to help, grabbing the lever next to Cody's hand and pulling, managing to pull the lever down easily.

Once the lever was pulled and the T-Rex was shut down, Cody and the young girl sighed in relief and looked at each other.

Then Cody gave the young girl a thumbs up for helping him as she smiled brightly.

In the morning of the next day, the Burns family and the young girl were looking at the mouth of the T-Rex as Graham asked, "Uh, think anyone will notice?"

The T-Rex has been stuck on its back since it was shut down and did not manage to unstuck it from its position as Chief Burns took a photo of the T-Rex.

Kade glanced over at Graham and shook his head, responding with a "Nah."

Then the Burns family and the young girl stepped out of the Natural History Museum and headed toward the bots.

"Wait," Chief Burns spoke, causing the family to stop. "I want to get a picture of my heroes."

Chief Burns clicked the hover button on his camera, and the family positioned themselves… except for Cody, who stepped out of the camera's view.

The young girl noticed too and glanced over at Cody, seeing that he looked sad.

So the young girl walked up to him and pointed at him, silently questioning Chief Burns about him.

Chief Burns softly smiled after the young girl pointed at Cody and said, mentioning Cody standing in front of the bots, "All my heroes."

The young girl perked after Chief Burns mentioned that Cody looked surprised as Dani and Graham walked over to him, except for Kade, who crossed his arms over his chest.

"Oh, come on, Dad," Kade chuckled in defense. "Just because Cody answered one rescue call doesn't mean he is a part of the team."

"Yes, it does." that same deep, gravelly voice took Kade by surprise as he exclaimed, looking up at his firetruck Rescue Bot as its visor lifted up, revealing his eyes as it took a step forward. "Or we're not."

The two siblings backed away as the firetruck Rescue Bot knelt, placing a gentle hand on Cody's shoulder as he smiled while looking up at the bot.

"Cody is our liaison on this mission," the firetruck Rescue Bot explained. "He's the reason why we're even giving this place a chance."

Then the firetruck Rescue Bot moved close to Kade and growled with a glare on its face, "Are we clear?"

Kade gave a frightened squeak as he ran over to his other siblings and Chief Burns, asking as he mentioned to the bot, "Dad, did that thing just talk back to me?!"

"Something's definitely wrong with the robots," Dani muttered.

"We can't use tech prone to malfunction," Graham insisted.

Chief Burns placed a hand on the older son and explained as he looked over at the camera, "They're not malfunctioning. They're aliens."

"WHAT?!" all three siblings exclaimed after Chief Burns explained as the camera flashed, taking the picture at the right moment.

It showed a picture of Chief Burns smiling, Cody giving a thumbs-up as the young girl waved at the camera, and his three older siblings' shocked reactions to what their father had just announced.
