Annabeth had a life plan. Get accepted to the School for Good, come out top in every class, get her own (famous) fairy tale, and make her parents proud. Percy and Hazel had their own plan. Stay in Gavaldon, talk by the lake every night, and just be friends. Their plans all change when Annabeth meets the mysterious, green-eyed Never who doesn't speak.

The gang gets called by Scipio to investigate a strange castle that pops up out of the blue in Venice, but when they get sucked into a portal to a dying world, they get caught up in an adventure unlike any other, one that will push them to the limit. In the School for Good and Evil, Percy and Annabeth are Readers in Gavaldon. When they get swept into the School of Good and Evil, their relationship ceases. Can they make it through? Or is Percabeth a lost cause?
