Fleeing from an unknown enemy, Peter Quill and the rest of the Guardians run into a strange and witty man who calls himself the Doctor. Little do they know, he's the only one who can help them get back home, protect Xandar, and save Peter from a horrendous fate. [Story is set when Rose and the 10th Doctor are still traveling together and about a year after GotG]

Rory swallowed the bit of blood in his mouth and shivered a little at the thought. An alien resembling his wife was about to kill him. He was trying not to see it as a metaphor. (Nod to Legends of Tomorrow as well but could only tag two things)

Okay everyone so as I promised here is the Doctor Who and Guardians crossover fanfic. The timing for it to fit into the main story is somewhere in the 18 year time gap between books 2 and 3 so this is after Orion was born but still while he was growing up on Xandar before joining the rest of the team. Also for any readers who have not made it that far in the show I am using Doctor

this is a surpise story.

The Doctor just stepped out for coffee and he changed the course of one man's life. The Doctor has touched more lives than he even realizes and so has Denarian Saal. This story will crossover between Doctor Who (Peter Capaldi) and the Guardians of the Galaxy movie (some spoilers for both). Hopefully the first of a few chapters. Constructive feedback is welcome.
