Kagome had been forced back to the empty shrine in the modern era, and, in turn, Clint was sent to observe her because of the jewel. Among all things, he chooses to adopt the 15-year-old miko and take her on as his apprentice. 3 years go by, and things flip upside down when Loki shows up. She's chosen for the Avenger's Initiative, but along with her come allies from the past!

Admittedly, there wasn't much that rattled Kagome Barton to her core. She's endured transcending time and fighting demons over some stupid magic marble. Her days time-hopping are over, but days of leisure are far from reach when she's recruited to the Avenger's Initiative following the appearance of Loki.

Things go awry when Kagome and Sango are knocked into the well during a fight, only to emerge in time that differed from their own. To make matters worse, the well seems to have sealed and left them stuck there! With him comes a new fight for survival, and Kagome finds herself in the center when Ultron sets his sights on her.

At his defeat, Naraku used the jewel to put a curse on Kagome that left her immortal. With the well sealed, she had no choice but to live through the years until she reached her rightful time once more. A chance situation leads Kagome to meet Bucky, and she falls head over heels for him despite knowing she didn't belong there. Imagine her surprise when they meet again decades later
