A new doctor comes to join the 4077, captain John Watson. It isn't until a spy with an injured leg comes in that John begins to loosen up and make friends at the M*A*S*H unit. It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that soon John Watson, Hawkeye Pierce, and the famous spy Sherlock Holmes get a long very well. (Title from my favorite quote of Hawkeye's)

Father Mulcahy has a problem and Major Sherlock Holmes is bored. It's a match made in heaven, and although Captain John Watson and Corporal Radar O'Reilly will be put through hell, in the end, it's all in a good cause. The 4077 MASH had regretted losing Dr. John Watson when he returned to his old unit. They regret his return as a patient even more.

Dr. John Watson's birthday had apparently passed by unnoticed when the 4077 MASH was innundated with casualties. Not a matter of consequence in the grand scheme of things, unless one is far from home and feeling very much alone.

Major Sherlock Holmes finally pays a visit to his friend, Captain John Watson, at the 4077 MASH. He's intrigued by what he's heard of Watson's new colleagues and wants to meet them. This could be so not good, especially when the first person to cross his path is Corporal Klinger.

It's Christmastime and Dr. John Watson is still in Korea and still with the 4077 MASH. To top it off, his leave has been cancelled. Things are more than a bit not good, but John never could stay down when offered the opportunity to help someone else.

A different time, a different place and a different war, but Dr. John Watson is as reliable and talented as ever.
