Remnant is a world housed by the remains of a people constantly warring with soulless monsters that would see them extinct. Yet they aren't the only remnants on their planet. Remnant is far older than any of its denizens could imagine, older than even their Brother Gods. One of these relics of their past is not as dead as the rest, and its awakening will bring fate to its knees...

Ruby suffers just because of the way she was born.

The Ashen One completed his journey. He defeated every challenge he faced in his world and allowed the First Flame to die out so that Humanity may flourish. However, a blaze from his Firelink Armor and Sword sends him to another world entirely, where while it faces its own struggles, is nothing like his own. Can he survive in this new world or will he succumb to bloody evolution?

Ruby should have died that night. She should have died, making the same mistake as her sister. Yet, she did not. Her fire, reduced to an ember in the dark, endured. And, as long as there are Embers, Ash will seek them out. Saved by the Ashes of a long forgotten age, Ruby is now left looking after an old knight, the last of his kind. Now trapped in a world of bloody evolution he must find a way to retain his sanity or otherwise imprison himself for eternity for the good of all.

He had finally done it, he had rekindled the first flame, but at a price, he was now in a completely different world with absolutely no idea of what to do, thankfully it seemed that a group of kids on a quest to stop Salem require his talents. It seems that he will have to be the chosen undead once again.
