Kakariko Village
Link, Roxas, and Dorian returned only to find a group of villagers surrounding an injured Cado.
Dorian got them through the crowd before setting the heirloom down. "Cado!? What happened to you?"
"It was a man in a black coat." Cado stated. "Not Roxas. He was too tall for that."
Roxas tensed up since there were only so many people with black coats like his. That meant this was either the Organization's doing or that guy not part of the Organization was behind this.
"Their holding Ladies Impa and Paya hostage." Cado stated. "They put me through some swirling, black doorway that dropped me off here." He looked to Roxas. "I think it was meant as a message because he said he was here to collect you. Dorian… I was no match against him."
Roxas was always taught that avoiding people was the best option, and that coated guy seemed to avoid people as well. If they were going against that instruction, then they must want him more than the younger Nobody thought.
"Maybe you weren't, but I can be." Roxas declared before turning to the direction of Impa's house. "I'll take whoever is behind this on and free those two in the process."
"You're not going alone." Link declared firmly. "Just as you've made my quest your problem, I'll make your quest my problem."
"Thank you, Link." Roxas stated genuinely. "I appreciate this; however, just as you had something to prove, I want to take this person on alone."
Link nodded at that.
"If you two are going, then I'm coming with as well." Dorian declared. "Whoever this person is, they've taken people from my village hostage." He looked Roxas in the eyes. "After what happened tonight, I won't abandon you either."
Roxas nodded at that before the trio set off leaving Cado in the hands of the other villagers. When they approached Impa's home, the figure in the black coat stepped on out.
"Hey there kiddo." The voice stated. "I must say, the direct approach isn't what I was expecting form somebody part of the Organization. Then again, who I am I to say that when I went with it myself. Of course, I took the direct approach without back up, so…"
"I don't even know why you decided to reveal yourself without lowering your hood." Roxas informed. "After all, I know who all of you are just by your voice, Xigbar."
"Well, you always were the observant type." Xigbar stated before dropping his hood.
The figure revealed a confident grin and that signature scar that ran up his cheek to the bottom of his remaining eye with the other covered by a black eye patch. His yellow eyes were staring Roxas down.
"You're coming with me Roxas." Xigbar declared. "Failing that, I'm destroying you. Those are your two options."
"They only sent you out here to do that?" Roxas questioned.
He was trying to gather just how many were here for him, and silently buying himself time thinking about how he would be able to combat Xigbar. The young Nobody had seen what the man could do, and it was rare to see a Heartless touch him.
That was down to Xigbar's ability to alter the very space around himself; however, Roxas remembered how the man was somewhat arrogant with his abilities, and this was what made him sloppy.
"They sent everybody out for you." Xigbar shook his head. "You're everyone's target now kiddo, and I bet the rest of the members are searching world after world for you. I was just the first one crazy enough to check here. Guess I got lucky."
"Crazy?" Roxas inquired "What makes you crazy for following me here?"
"This world was never part of Xemnas' plans, but you could say it's also at the bottom of the list when it comes to potential worlds that are." Xigbar alluded. "It was determined that you, No. XIV, and another by the name of Naminé are the only ones who could safely remain here."
"What does that mean?" Roxas barked back.
"That's not important." Xigbar stated. "Like I said, everybody, including Xemnas, is waiting on you to be resolved."
"What, do they have nothing better to do?" Roxas responded coldly while trying to understand why this world was avoided.
"Oh, we do." Xigbar declared. "That is why it is so crucial that we resolve your problem one way…" His choice of weapons, the silver metallic arrow guns, flashed into his hands. "…or another, traitor."
"You and I will sort this out without the hostages." Roxas declared firmly. "Where are Impa and Paya?"
Xigbar chuckled. "Well, since you asked…"
He raise a hand and from the floor came the familiar dark portal. Not two seconds later, Paya walked out with Impa leaning on her.
"Ladies Impa and Paya!" Dorian exclaimed before rushing to aid them.
Xigbar's gaze was on them, so Roxas summoned Oathkeeper before charging forward. Just as the Organization member looked at the traitor, he'd gone low and swung at the man's legs swiftly bringing him to the ground. Roxas then swung at Xigbar.
It barely made contact before the space around the man appeared to distort and warp. He vanished entirely causing the blade to impact with the ground. The young nobody's eyes narrowed as he knew it wouldn't be that easy.
"Dorian, get Lady Impa and Paya out of here." Roxas commanded as he now summoned Oblivion as well. "Link, stay on guard if you're going to be sticking around."
Dorian simply nodded firmly before helping the pair walk away. Link was determined to stay with his friend, so he opened all his senses and stayed on guard. Roxas suddenly saw the flash of a purple surge toward the retreating trio.
The younger Nobody lunged forward slashing the shot out of the air before lifting Oathkeeper. "Thundara!" The lighting came down near the darkness cast by a house illuminating Xigbar just as the space around him distorted and he warped out of existence. "Get out of here you three!"
"Understood." Dorian declared. "Come along Lady Impa and Paya."
They left the area.
"Well done, kiddo." Xigbar taunted from the roof of Impa's house. "Nothing like the rush or lighting to get the party started."
"Shut up!" Roxas whipped around and aimed Oblivion at him. "Aerora!"
A violent gust of wind shot across the room and reached Xigbar before he could react. The resulting force slammed him back along the roof. A wind formed around Roxas and appeared to aid him as he dashed forward taking to the air.
He closed the distance to Xigbar before the older Nobody could recover and slashed out with Oathkeeper catching the sharpshooter across the chest. He then pivoted around the man and followed it up with a lunge at the man's back with Oblivion.
Xigbar grunted in pain as the resulting force was enough to send him crashing down to the ground. The older Nobody struggled to regain his footing and resisted the urge to rub his back as Roxas moved to press his advantage.
The younger Nobody's attack failed to connect since the sharpshooter managed to raise both his guns in a cross formation stopping the attack. Roxas moved to slash at his opponent's midsection but found the attack passing right through him as again the space around Xigbar distorted.
Roxas spun around and scanned the area intently as he tried to decipher just where the man had warped to this time. Suddenly, a high piercing sound rang out and a bright purple light barreled at Link. The hero drew his shield and managed to block the shot.
Roxas growled as this action might have allowed him to spot the sharpshooter, but Xigbar had once again targeted someone not in this fight. Thinking on his feet, the younger Nobody had turned the other way.
"I found you creep!" Roxas exclaimed before dashing away from Xigbar's location.
As he turned a corner, Roxas summoned a dark corridor and sprinted through it. This put him right behind the older Nobody. In one, swift motion, Roxas moved past Xigbar while crossing his keyblades across the man's back. The sharpshooter hollered out in pain as he stumble ran.
Xigbar was trying to get some distance from the younger Nobody, but Roxas was having none of it. He followed the older nobody and brought his keyblades down on the man's shoulders. There was a definite cracking sound as Xigbar was sent tumbling to the edge of the fall into the water.
Roxas approached the older Nobody with Oathkeeper raised. "Thundaga!"
Powerful lighting came down, but Xigbar threw himself over the edge. Roxas rushed forward, but he couldn't spot the older Nobody. That either meant he'd somehow gotten away, or the attack hadn't ended him.
"I got to hand it to you, kiddo." Roxas heard the voice behind him, but when he turned around, he found no one. "I really didn't expect you to catch me off guard like that." This time it came from the left, but he again found nothing. "I assure you that won't be happening again."
That last sentence was spoken with rage, and Roxas whirled around only to catch a glimpse of the air returning to normal from a slightly warped and distorted state. Just then, Roxas felt a hot beam burn his back shoulder causing him to stumble forward from the pain.
"Roxas!" Link shouted worriedly.
"Link!" Roxas held out his hand generating a dark corridor. "Take that right now, and it'll put you out with the villagers." Link looked at him worriedly. "Go!" He whirled around and managed to deflect a shot. "I'll handle this and join you shortly."
Link sighed as he turned to the corridor. "You better."
He ran on in and Roxas closed it before a surge of purple light struck the younger nobody in the hip. "Screw this!" He lifted Oathkeeper towards the sky. "Aerora!"
The air around him suddenly began to violently surge, and Roxas managed to catch sight of Xigbar as he appeared in a new location. The younger Nobody sped on over to him and unleashed a flurry of strikes. All of them landed jerking and contorting Xigbar's body.
"Enough!" Xigbar shouted.
He again used one of his sharpshooters to deflect one of Roxas' swipes before the space around him distorted, and he warped out of existence.
"NO!" Roxas shouted before whipping his head side to side. "Aerora!"
He put more energy behind the spell before sending out the tornado into the area seemingly stopping any other shots. By this point, the younger Nobody was panting from exhaustion. He had put just a little bit too much energy into that last spell and fatigue was starting to show.
"Sorry Roxas, but you can't use the same trick twice." Xigbar stated. "Not on me."
Roxas hear him call out from somewhere, but he couldn't spot the man. "You are a coward!"
He was honestly trying to prompt the sniper to reveal himself. All that comment earned him was a painful bolt of purple energy that struck him in the ribcage. The younger Nobody grimaced and held his side.
"Not cowardly!" Xigbar retorted. "It's called being tactical, kiddo!"
Another shot fired out from the darkness, but Roxas was able to block this one with the side of his Oathkeeper. Suddenly, a flurry of shots from the opposite direction flashed into existence giving Roxas only enough time to dive out of the way without taking the brunt of the damage.
"Face it." Xigbar announced. "You've got no chance."
Roxas didn't waste his time responding. The odds really weren't in his favor since this little village provided Xigbar plenty of cover. The darkness also didn't help Roxas' vision as he did his best to scan around in hopes of being able to block whatever attack was soon to come his way.
Roxas took a deep breath as he embraced the light causing himself and his keyblade to glow. As the bolts came to strike his left biceps, Roxas' eyes widened. He avoided them before leaping onto the roof across from Xigbar.
"Whoa boy Roxas, looks like a fire has been lit within you since turning traitor." Xigbar commented. "Well done on that kiddo. Axel would be proud."
Upon hearing the name of his old friend, Roxas found his anger increasing, and he lunged at Xigbar who seemed particularly confident. The man tried to vanish again, but he didn't account for the younger Nobody being much faster than the last time the sharpshooter had seen him.
Roxas caught the older Nobody of guard and unleashed the full powers of his Limit with a series of powerful hits with his keyblade and finishing it off with the beams of lights.
Xigbar stumbled back to the edge putting him just above the water once more. "That… hurt." He growled angrily at the boy. "That hurt a lot!"
Roxas' Limit Break ran out leaving the younger Nobody feeling so tired. Anywhere Xigbar had struck was aching, and his legs protested standing.
"Just leave me alone already!" Roxas yelled.
He threw both his keyblades which caused Xigbar's eyes to widen as he did not have any more energy to vanish. Oblivion pierced his neck while Oathkeeper cut into his chest, and he was sent over the edge.
"Not bad, kiddo…" Xigbar thought with a chuckle as he faded into darkness.
Roxas had moved to the edge and spotted the last remnants of darkness before they vanished completely. He wondered if the nobody he had known was really gone.
"Nothing left when a Nobody dies…" Roxas thought.
The younger Nobody slowly made his way to the gate where he'd sent Link.
Upon arrival, Link ran over and supported his exhausted friend. "Are you okay?" Before Roxas could answer, the hero had already checked him over. "You have some injuries, so we'll need the Sheikah to patch you up since I don't think you got any magic left to heal yourself."
Link was assuming Roxas would have done that if could, so he led him over to the Sheikah with those capable treating his wounds. Many of the people were looking at Roxas. Most of them seemed to understand, through Impa or Link, that he wasn't with that other man. A few of them still looked at him suspiciously.
"Young man, who was that?" Impa had approached him. "I could tell by his coat that he was one of the people you warned us about, but still…"
Roxas looked from the Sheikah to Link and sighed as he knew he'd have to come clean with more of the truth. Some things still needed to be kept close to his chest, but now they had all been directly involved.
"His name was Xigbar, and he's a member of the same organization I was once part of." Roxas sighed. "It's called Organization XIII. Xigbar was here tonight to bring me back to the life I had or end it provided he couldn't do that."
A couple of villagers had questions.
"What does that mean?"
"Who were you before?"
"I stood for a cause that I shouldn't have." Roxas replied. "I was a big part of Organization XIII and did a lot to help them. That coat I wore was from them. It's what we wore to denote us as members of the Organization."
Many of the villagers seemed bewildered by the information with only Link, Impa, Paya, and Dorian unaffected. They had heard, at different times, most of this before.
"I'm sorry." Roxas stated. "Given what you've experienced with the Yiga, it probably doesn't sound that good, huh?"
"He's not part of them now, at least!" Link stepped up to his side and showed that he was on Roxas' side. "No matter what he may have done before, Roxas is done with them now. That should be obvious since they see him as an enemy."
"I for one, agree." Impa stated. "I was there until Dorian dragged my granddaughter and I away. "It's clear to me that this boy is not the person who stood with this Organization. He is more than who he was before. That means a lot."
"Thank you." Roxas stated with surprise since he thought that everyone, even Link, would end up shunning him should they ever be attacked. "Maybe I can reveal more about myself. Maybe… Maybe Link would accept me if I told him what I was."
Roxas pushed the thought aside since he shouldn't jump to any conclusions just yet.
"I feel the same way." Paya spoke up. "You defended by grandmother, and I. That means more to me than whatever was in your past."
Roxas smiled gratefully at her.
Dorian decided to step forward and cinch Roxas' good name in the eyes of the people. "For those of you who may not believe in this young man's good name, you will have to do the same for me. My wife was slain by the Yiga, you all know this.
What you don't know is that she was slain because I was a member of the Yiga myself." Many people gasped. "It was my punishment for leaving them; however, it was the love I felt for her that made me leave them to begin with.
Then, they threatened my daughters, and I gave them information about Link, Roxas, and this village. I know what I did was wrong, and even if I am no longer to guard Lady Impa and Paya, I will still serve this village… now, it will be with everything I have."
Link spoke up. "These two have made their mistakes; however, they strive to be better now." He nodded. "Despite the danger Roxas knew might come for him, he decided to aid me the moment I woke up in the Shrine of Resurrection.
I know he will continue to aid me on my journey, and I do not fear what may come for him as he travels with me. Both Dorian and Roxas have my forgiveness for their past, and I trust them now to do what is right."
Everything said that night really seemed to sway the Sheikah, and Roxas was soon able to return to the inn with Link. Despite how this night ended, he knew this battle was far from over. It was almost certain someone else would come.
"Link…" Roxas stated.
"Yeah Roxas?" Link asked.
"If you're really serious about us sticking together, then we both have to become a lot stronger." Roxas declared firmly.
"I'm right there with you." Link declared. "Calamity Ganon & Organization XIII… Let's work hard to ensure we're both ready to take them on. Before we head off to the Divine Beasts, we can even focus heavily on the shrines to help power us up."
Any time they had the chance, Roxas resolved to push every aspect of himself to new heights. He'd learn technique from Link, improve his own power, speed, and stamina, and master his magic like he never has before. Next time, he'd be more prepared for a battle like this.
"By the way, what was that black wisp thing you sent me through?" Link asked curiously.
"It's called a dark corridor." Roxas informed. "It basically took you where I wanted you."
"Whoa, that's cool." Link admitted. "Is there a range limit to this technique? Did someone teach it to you, or did you discover it yourself? Could you teach it to me?"
Roxas was bewildered since Link didn't usually give him so many questions. "Well, there is no range limit… as far as I know. It was taught to me by the people after me, and I don't know if I would be able to teach you. I mean, it's something I barely remember learning. It's also far from safe. I'm literally tearing into the darkness of the world to create a shortcut."
"What do you mean by that?" Link questioned. "Could something happen to us if we stay in the darkness for too long?"
Roxas had to think to answer this question "In all honesty, I don't know for certain. I've only been told that there would be consequences if I traveled from…" he stopped himself "Er… if I traveled too far without wearing the protection of my black coat."
"You mean that's why you want to keep your coat?" Link asked and received a nod. "Does that mean I'm not okay now? What about you since you're not wearing your coat?"
"We should be fine." Roxas replied. "Neither of us were in there for long."
They entered the inn and moved to Roxas' room. "Roxas, why don't you ever what to reveal who you are?"
Roxas took a seat on his bed. "Link, you'd come to learn that I'm not the person you think I am… You'd know I'm not truly a person… at least, not a complete one."
"Not a complete person…" Link didn't understand.
"Link… I'll tell you eventually." Roxas took a deep breath. "Tonight, was rather hectic, so is it alright to wait until I'm ready?"
Link was frustrated at having the answers he's wanted, practically since they met, dangled out in front of him before being snatched away. Sure, he's learned a lot about his friend, but there was clearly a lot he had yet to know.
In the end, Link just didn't have it in him to demand those answers. It was exactly because he thought of Roxas as a good friend. The hero didn't want to push him into something he wasn't ready for. That wasn't who he was.
"It's more than fine Roxas." Link put a hand on his partner's shoulder. "Come to me whenever you're ready to talk, and I promise you I'll be ready to listen."
"Thank you, Link." Roxas smiled at that. "I appreciate that."
"No problem." Link patted his shoulder before walking off. "Now, get some rest." He walked out the door. "You've earned it."
Morning…
Link sat atop Epona while Roxas sat atop Sea Salt, and both were with Telma as what seemed like the entire village turned out to see them off. Roxas was dressed in a new Sheikah Set curtesy of the clothes shop. They gave it to him as thanks for protecting Impa and Paya.
They even took his previous set and offered to fix it up for their eventual return. All in all, Roxas and Link both felt traveling would be easier in their new attires than it had been in their previous ones. He looked back towards Impa and saw her give a small nod.
Next to her, Paya waved before blushing in Link's direction and clasping her hands against her chest. Nodding in return, they fixed their eyes forward and spurred their horses into motion riding out in front of Telma's cart.
Hyrule Field
The ride back to the Dueling Peak Stable went by peacefully. Once they cleared the pass, the group stopped for lunch and to rest the horses in the afternoon. After lunch, they got back on the road. Thankfully, there were no Bokoblins on this trip.
They eventually made their way back to the stable by the time the sun had fallen behind the Dueling Peaks plunging the valley into shadow. Telma offered to pay to board and feed their horses for the night which they gratefully accepted.
Roxas still wasn't into large group of people, and Link didn't want to be interrogated by any other old guards. That or hear Telma tell of their exploits to anyone who would listen after she bought some drinks. They ultimately took their meals back to their room.
The day's ride had left them, especially Roxas, sore and weary. Unfortunately, rest did not come easy for Link while his friend was out like a light. Now that they were out of Kakariko, things were really settling in for him.
The failure in his past, even though Link didn't remember it, made him feel shameful. He knew it didn't seem right that he should feel such a way for an event that he had no memory of. Still, the feeling was inescapable.
"Roxas…" Link asked. "Roxas, you up?"
"Yes…" Roxas eventually groaned. "What's the matter?"
"Do you think we stand a chance of stopping Calamity Ganon?" Link asked.
"We won't know unless we try." Roxas yawned. "In the end, I think that's all either of us can do with our respective goals. Give them our all."
"What if we fail?" Link sighed as he stared at the ceiling. "I just can't help but feel like this journey will end in failure like the last… This time, I'm not sure the Shrine of Resurrection will be enough… It might not even work meaning I may not get another chance."
Roxas sat up in his bed and rubbed his eyes. "Maybe we will fail, but for me, that's no reason not to try." His mind showed him images of Axel, Xion, and now Link. "I have people relaying on me to become stronger."
"You aren't bothered by all those people at Kakariko, everyone in Hyrule, wanting us to succeed?" Link asked not understanding.
"You think I'm doing any of this for them?" Roxas shook his head. "While it'd be great to free them, they're not the people I'm doing this for. I want to complete my initial goal for the person I promised it to, and a friend I had a falling out with over this.
I want to stop Calamity Ganon because this land is your home Link." He nodded. "One day, I hope you, I, and my other two friends can do something just myself and them used to do. That's why I'm here, and it's why I grow stronger."
"That's why you want to be strong, huh?" Link smiled at that. "You know Roxas, you can be clueless about some natural things, but you're also wise when I need you to be. Thank…" He looked over and noticed his friend had passed out. "Thank you, Roxas."
Link laid down and was able to fall asleep himself.
Next Day…
Link awoke with a start when he heard a cucco crow outside. Early dawn light had begun to filter in through the window slats in the room. Link rose and gathered up his belongings before noticing that Roxas wasn't in his bed. He ended up finding the Nobody in the dining room.
Link paid for a breakfast of eggs, sausage, and cheese before joining him. "Where were you, Roxas?"
"Training." Roxas replied simply.
"What!?" Link exclaimed. "You went out training and didn't bring me?"
"I tried to wake you, but you weren't having it." Roxas finished off his breakfast. "Trust me, I tried."
Link suddenly realized why he didn't wake up. "Sorry."
"It's fine." Roxas stated. "I know you had to have been up for quite some time last night."
Roxas might have been groggy when Link woke him up, but the Nobody remembered the conversation they had. After breakfast, they asked that their mounts be prepared for departure. Upon stepping out into the cool morning air, they saw Telma inspecting her goods for departure. This time, she was accompanied by a man they assumed to be her normal guard.
"You boys already hurrying out?" Telma asked and ended up leading them away from her guard after they nodded. "I know you've got a long journey ahead of you. Know that I have said nothing I've learned about you boys. I am quite capable of keeping a secret."
Both boys felt an immense relief at these words. "Link, I don't know everything that Impa told you, but you are the master of your destiny. I can't imagine what it must be like in your position. I certainly wouldn't blame you if you decided to take a different path."
He met her eyes. "Thanks Telma, but I know who this journey is for. While freeing the land for everyone is something I want to do, the people that will keep me going are the ones I meet. Roxas, You, Impa, Paya, Koko, and Dorian." He smiled. "I'm certain that number will only grow as we continue our journey."
"That's a good outlook Link." Telma then nodded to the Nobody. "Roxas, you remember that it's not the actions of your past that will define you in the eyes of people you've never met. It's how you conduct yourself around them now that matters." She smiled. "The boy I've seen all this time is someone I was honored to have traveled with."
"Oh…" Roxas rubbed the back of his head. "Thanks for that, Telma."
"You two are good men." She patted their shoulders. "Take care of each other, and I'm sure we will cross paths again someday in the future."
Telma was heading west while the boys rode north until it forked to the east. The eastern road wound around the north side of the large, swampy field where Link saw the ruins and Guardians. Since the horses seemed well rested, Link had them alternate between walking and trotting.
As a result, they made fairly good time before stopping to rest around midday. They sat down with their backs against a large, broken stump next to the road. The pair ate a meal of dried fruit and carrots before Link removed his Sheikah Slate.
"Impa told me that the princess had attempted to prepare the Sheikah Slate in such a way that she hoped it would spark some memories…" Link looked to his partner. "What do you think she meant by that?"
"I don't know." Roxas shrugged. "Impa does seem to think the answers lie with her sister in Hateno, so it shouldn't be long until you get the answer."
"That's fair enough." Link relented before standing. "Come on, let's hit the road."
"Can't we rest a bit longer." When Roxas stood up, he winced. "You might be used to riding horseback, but this is killing me."
"The only cure to that is to get plenty of horseback riding in before resting with the night." Link declared as he got into Epona's saddle.
"With Hateno being another two days away, I'm glad we made the agreement to stay in any settlements for a couple of days." Roxas thought as he mounted Sea Salt.
As they rode on the path alongside the nearby swamp, Link couldn't help but look over at it. Dozens of broken Guardians littered the area. Some of them were little more than their cylindrical bodies while others still had all six legs and looked ready to start moving again.
"What had happened here?" Link contemplated. "Did I do this? I mean, according to Impa and the king, this is where I made my last stand with the princess. Us being here would explain the sheer number."
The important thing to remember is that death is not the end for a Nobody. Roxas only assumes that because that's what he was told, but we all know better given games that transpired after Kingdom Hearts 2. As for the conversation between Link and Roxas, Roxas has always struck me as someone that ultimately does what he does for his friends. I think it's a slightly different flavors form how Sora's driven by his friends... If that makes any sense.
DARKPHANTOM13/Guest: I'll keep that in mind, but I will say I am going to pull a bit from Kingdom Hearts in teams of key chains. Like I know these are keychains Roxas got for his keyblade in 358/2 Days, but I do want Roxas to get something from helping Link conquer the Divine Beast. In my eyes, the Champions aren't going to impart their abilities on him. I think generating new key chains from these events is a nice compromise.
As for Great Fairy, that will come. Again, having multiple Great Faries was a game mechanic meant to give the player a sense of fulfillment through exploration. Yeah, you are right in my choice to have him not wear his dark coat while on this world. Especially since it could send the wrong message no matter how many times, he explains he's not affiliated with anyone wearing it. I'll keep that power in mind.
UltimateAvengers: I have a different vehicle in mind for Roxas to have from his keyblades. I don't know yet if I want to draw too much from Ven. Like, I know I said they should have some connection given everything about Roxas; however, he is still the Nobody of Sora.
ultima-owner: I was actually thinking that comes later.
Jebest4781 (Ch. 1-4): Thanks so much for all the reviews.
SomeOne Random (Guest): I got this review in my inbox; however, it's not showing up on the story for me or in my review tab. Still, I'll answer to what I can as the inbox has cut it off for being to long for a message. The Organization is pretty determined to get him back, and while there are some questions, he has people to vouch for him here. As for Roxas' weapon... This is Hyrule we are talking about. Magic isn't out of the question as a reasonable answer to accept. You know what, I will consider your idea and see what happens when the first Blood Moon comes about. This is where it pretty much cut off more. Sorry about that, but I'll answer whatever could be left of this review in the next chapter.
