Instead of Momo freeing her from the tree after she stole the water bending scroll, Zuko manages to take Katara back to his ship as bait for the Avatar. Their hatred lessens as they learn about each other and Zuko realizes just what the Fire Nation has done.

Zuko succeeds in capturing the Avatar. Yes! His life's goal has been accomplished! But what seems like a blessing may really be a curse. Now that he has no Avatar to chase, Zuko can't keep running from his past, or from a certain someone who refuses to be forgotten...

The world has fallen to the might of the Fire Nation. The Earth Kingdom surrenders after their Northern Territory is burnt by Ozai. The Northern Water Tribe surrenders in fear of similar retaliation. But even as the Emperor of the Phoenix Empire, Ozai's ambition extends beyond even his own world. I don't own the Avatar Universe or anything in it.

Qin's life hasn't been great. Losing her father and elder brothers to the war, it left her family broken and scarred. When Qin's mother cast her aside, Iroh took her in, and when Zuko was banished, Qin went with them, in hopes of making herself useful. However, when Zuko catches Aang, Qin becomes confused on who to help. It certainly doesn't help that a cute boy was helping Aang.

/SOKKAxAZULA/ After Suki's untimely death, Sokka needs to do a little soul-searching. Along the way he finds Azula living in a small town, making a humble living as an artist. He also discovers she's keeping a secret she didn't even know she had.
