I'm so damn tired, and I've got a lot of shit to do over the next few days, but this is one of those things, and just… ugh. Be patient with me if this is a day or so late on the upload. But I'll try to keep the schedule and still give quality content.
I appreciate every single one of you who read my story, I didn't think so many people would be interested or bother to stick around this long, but still, I'm genuinely thankful. Of course, leave a review if you want, whether it's compliments or criticism.
Anyway, on with the story.
"Hello.": Normal talking.

The soft clicking of the turn signal could be heard as it turned on due to the impact. The front bumper was heavily dented in the middle and the engine was currently smoking. The panting of everyone in the vehicle could be heard as they were all buckled over from the crash.
"Sound off… who's still alive?" Cass asked in between breaths as he was leaning up against the steering wheel.
"Here." Yasmina said from right beside him as she tried to catch her breath.
"Here." Darius responded as he was taking deep breathes.
"Here." Kenji and Brooklynn said at the same time in between their attempts to breath.
"Here." Sammy let out weakly.
"Here." Ben said as Bumpy let out a squeal, proving she was here too.
"Good." Cass said after one last deep breath and sitting up straight. "Now let's get the fuck out of this thing." He said as he opened the driver side door and began walking away in order to stretch his body.
After Cass had left, and everyone had taken a few more seconds to gather themselves, Darius asked. "Is everyone okay?"
"Is everyone…?" Yasmina asked in an upset manner as she let out a chuckle that held no humor and got out and followed after Cass, not wanting to be near the one who caused her this emotional pain, slamming the door behind her.
No one had seen or heard her sound so broken over something, so the campers could only look at the girl in worry and shock.
"Yaz, wait!" Sammy called out to the girl. She hopped out of the van. "Wait! Yasmina!" She said as she went after her.
Soon the other campers got out of the van and tried to roll and stretch the knots out of there system.
"We're not okay!" Yasmina shouted.
"Yaz—" Sammy tried to say but Yasmina kept going.
"We're in the middle of a jungle with a monster dinosaur out there, and you…" Yaz turned around to face Sammy. "You…" She couldn't get the words out.
"Destroyed our only way to get help and lied about it!" Brooklynn shouted from beside the van. "I told you guys!"
"So, you did take Brooklynn's phone? Why? What were you doing?" Darius asks the girl.
"Probably trying to erase my video of her taking those samples from the sinoceratops." Brooklynn accused and let out a gasp. "And you knew about the Indominus rex because you were snooping around Dr. Wu's office when I ran into you. I knew it!" She fired again.
"I didn't mean to destroy the phone. I fell on it when the zipline came down and-" Sammy tried to explain but was cut off.
"But you did steal it? You had it that whole time and didn't tell us?" Ben said to her.
"Hold up. What were you doing in Dr. Wu's office, Brooklynn?" Darius asked.
"I… It doesn't matter. I didn't break our only way to call for help and then lie about it! This is not my fault! This is her fault!" Brooklynn yelled out.
"I'm here to spy!" Sammy blurted out as she couldn't take the pressure anymore.
"Well that was easy." Cass said as he put a reassuring hand on Yasmina's shoulder and gave a light squeeze and a soft smile, while mouthing the words "We'll talk later." But no one noticed that last part as they were all staring at Sammy in shock.
"For a company called Mantah Corp." Sammy explained as she held herself.
"Mantah Corp? They're a bioengineering company, big rivals with Masrani. They tried to make dinosaurs, too, but Wu beat them to it." Darius explained to them.
"You doomed us all for some lousy company?" Ben asks.
"Our ranch was in trouble, so my folks had to borrow a lot of money from some shady people. We didn't know they were fronting for Mantah Corp. They said we'd lose everything unless I spied for them. Use the behind-the-scenes access I'd get at camp to gather info from Wu's lab, and DNA from dinos, and whatever else they needed." Sammy explained with a wobbly tone to her voice as she paced about in front of the group. "But then Brooklynn caught on, and I got scared, and then everything went wrong." She then moved and stood in front of Yasmina and looked at the girl. "This is the last thing I wanted to happen."
"Oh." Yasmina lets out a scoff. "To be next to a broken van on Killer Dinosaur Island? Hey, me, too! What are the odds?" She said sarcastically.
"Yaz, I-" The Texan tried to speak.
"Was it all a lie, wanting to be friends? Pretending you cared about…" Yaz couldn't get words out without breaking, so she just took a deep breath.
Sammy could only look down and shed a tear at what was happening.
"You just needed someone to hide what you were doing. Tell me I'm wrong." Yasmina said as she collected herself to the best of her ability.
Sammy could only close her eyes and sob to herself.
"I'm such an idiot." Yasmina says as she turns and walks away.
"You are wrong! I just didn't know how to say it, how to explain it to you. Just because I spied doesn't change who I am." Sammy says as she chases after Yasmina and places a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't touch me!" Yaz shouts as she pulls away from her. "Go away, Sammy." She says coldly and with a glare.
Sammy could only look at her in shock as she whimpers and cries. The girl runs away as to create distance between the two.
Yasmina walks towards the others and joins them. Cass places his hand on top of her head, as a sign that he's there for her. Yasmina turns her head and looks at the taller teen, before looking down at the little ankylosaur that tried to lean on her while letting out small whines. "Not now, Bumpy."
"Look, I know the situation we're in is suboptimal-" Ben started.
"It's shit. Just say it's shit, Ben." Brooklynn said as she pinches the bridge of her nose.
"Yes, but despite the obvious shititude… we… we need to-" He kept being cut off by Bumpy's whining and jumping. "Bumpy, what are you…"
* rumbling *
The quickening approach of the thumps caught the campers attention just as the Indominus burst through the tree line, letting out a roar as it charged forward. The teens let out their screams of shock as they ran to the van and hid behind it. "This is shit! This is shit!" Ben yelled out as they hid.
But the Indominus payed them no mind as it kept stomping forward, not even looking in their direction.
"What the hell?" Darius asked as they all witnessed the beast ignore them.
* helicopter whirring *
A helicopter flew above them and chased down the Indominus, letting out gunfire from the side in an attempt to kill the monster.
"Masrani's helicopter! That's his call sign on the tail!" Kenji yelled out as he pointed at the helicopter.
"They're shooting at the Indominus!" Darius yelled back as he took off after the two, with Kenji and Ben following right after.
"And why do we care?" Cass asked with a sigh and a shake of his head as he chased after the boys of the group. The girls, including Bumpy, followed after Cass as he went to catch up with the three.
The Indominus let out a few more roars as it looked back at the chopper and ran towards the giant aviary in the distance. Masrani's helicopter kept up its assault of bullets towards the beast as it stayed in pursuit.
* crash *
"What was that?" Brooklynn asked as the group heard the loud noise.
"Yeah! Kick its ass, Masrani!" Kenji yelled out and cheered. "We're saved! Yeah, baby! Ah! I told you, they've got it totally under-" Kenji's celebration was cut short as a small explosion let out from the tail of the helicopter as it was being attacked by a group of flying dinosaurs.
Kenji and the others could only stare in shock as the helicopter went down, falling down through the glass of the aviary, creating a massive hole that let out all the other dinosaurs that were being held in there.
"With those pteranodons loose, we're sitting ducks! We gotta take cover!" Darius yelled out as he and the others watched the massive flock of them left their cage.
Kenji let out a gasp as he snatched the tablet from Brooklynn and looked at it. "The Kayak River!" He exclaimed as he pointed on the map. "The entrance is near here. It goes underground, beneath the ridge. If we follow it, it'll take us right to the main park." Kenji tells the others.
"Then let's fucking go, people! Move it!" Cass yelled at them as they all listened to him and began running in the direction of the Kayak River. Ben and Darius stopped and turned around to grab Bumpy, seeing as she wouldn't be able to run too fast. The two managed to pick her up and run with her.
The group's order was Kenji, Yasmina, Sammy, Brooklynn, Ben and Darius, then Cass in the back to make sure that no one got potentially snatched by a pteranodon. Though that didn't stop them from trying to do so. One let out a screech as it dove towards the campers but missed as they all ducked.
"Come on!" Kenji called out as he waved the group to the right and everyone followed his direction. Said boy was panting as he checked the map and made sure they were still going in the right direction as they ran.
"Hurry up!" Yasmina yells as she snatches the tablet from him and runs ahead. They make it into an opening with the cave being right in front of them, but Ben and Darius fall, dropping Bumpy, as the others ahead of them made it into the tunnel already.
"Just get moving, I've got this." Cass says to the two boys as he noticed they were gonna try and carry the dinosaur again. Cass picked up the baby ankylosaur and put her on his shoulder just as he heard the screech of another pteranodon coming down on them. Thankfully the three managed to get out of the way and started to run as it landed behind them, letting out another call as it flew after them.
Cass, Bumpy, Ben, and Darius all make it into the room with the others, and just as the dinosaur was gonna try and take a bite out of them, Yasmina slams the metal door in its face. The campers all let out their pants of exhaustion as they finally had a moment to breathe, and Cass set down Bumpy.
"Jurassic World River Adventures." The automated message said through the intercom.
"What?" Ben questioned as he looked up to find the speaker.
"Prepare yourselves for the wonder of the underground river." The voice spoke once more as the group finally caught their breath and headed deep into the cave where the kayaks were. "Two adventurers per kayak. Life vests must be worn at all times. Adults, please fasten your own life vests before helping little adventurers. Remain seated at all times. Your journey begins now." The voice announced to them as they walked down onto the dock and grabbed and put on their respective life vests.
"You heard the lady, adults have to help the little adventurers put on their life vests." Cass teased Yaz as he held up a vest.
"You can't be serious?" Yasmina looked at him with slight embarrassment.
"Oh, I'm completely serious." Cass chuckled with a smile. "Safety first and all that."
"Ugh, fine." She gave up and threw her arms up, almost like a child waiting for this to be over with already.
"Okay, Okay. No need to give me attitude." He laughed to himself as he slid the vest onto her and clipped it onto her appropriately. "There, don't you feel safer already?" Cass teased as he leaned down towards his only friend here.
"I feel embarrassed more than anything." Yasmina huffed as she turned away.
"You get used to it." He responded by ruffling her hair a little.
"Brooklynn and I call the CKK." Kenji casually told the group.
"CKK?" Said girl questioned.
"Cool kids' kayak." Kenji said confidently as he pulled out a random pair of sunglasses and put them on his face. He got into said kayak as Brooklynn could only scoff at the boy and join him.
"That is one letter off of being something really bad…" Cass whispered to Yasmina, who could only nod in agreement.
"Ben and Bumpy can go in this one." Darius said as he led the two to their kayak.
"Cass and I have this one." Yasmina said as she got into one with Cass following soon after and sitting in the back.
"We technically have three sets of two so far, that just leaves Darius and Sammy, you two okay with that?" Cass said as he rolled his shoulders and grabbed his oar.
"Yeah, that's fine. Right, Sammy?" Darius asks the girl.
"Huh? Oh, yeah that's fine." Sammy says dishearteningly as she looks towards Darius.
"Hey, Ben. You sure that you can handle that on your own?" Yasmina asked the skinniest kid here.
"Oh… uh, yes?" Ben said nervously as he just realized that he'd have to paddle by himself with Bumpy on board.
"Don't worry, Yaz and I will keep an eye on you, and help you when you need it." Cass assured him in his usual calm tone.
Ben could only nod at the oldest of the group with a smile, before letting out a sigh. 'Thank god.' Ben thought to himself.
And with that, the campers began to paddle themselves down the river and deeper into the cave.

WITH DAVE AND ROXIE
"Ladies and gentlemen, we'd like to thank you for your patience." Said an automated voice over the intercom of the building that Dave and Roxie were in. They were running down the halls as scientists and other workers were moving around trying to do their part in fixing this mess.
"Darius, do you copy? Kids, please answer." Roxie calls into the handheld radio. "Still nothing." She says with a sigh.
"Look! There's an ACU tablet and vehicle on the move here." Dave said as he pointed at the location on his own ACU tablet.
"That must be them! They said they had a van, but they're still not safe out there. We've gotta get to them." Roxie tells him as she switches the channel on the walkie-talkie. "HQ, this is Roxie from Camp Cretaceous. Do you copy?"
* radio static *
"Who- This frequency is for emergency us only!" A woman exclaimed on the other end of the radio.
"This is an emergency!" Roxie shouted into the radio. "We've got kids in Sector Seven outside the containment area, and-"
Dave took the walkie-talkie from her hands and gave her the look that he's got this covered. "Hey! Dave here. Sounds like you got your hands full over there. Tell you what- if you let us borrow a park vehicle, we can just bring the kids in ourselves, just-" But he was cut off.
"No, we can't just let you take a vehicle! Yours is not the only emergency happening." The woman told them. "What? I don't know. I don't know. They said they're from the camp." They heard her say to someone else.
"We don't have time for this. Clear the line!" They heard a male voice say.
* beep *
"Hello? Hello? They hung up on me. They hung up on me!" Dave said as he tried to contact them again but nothing was heard.
"If things are as bad as we think, there's no way rescuing seven teenagers is gonna be their top priority." Roxie told him.
"What are we gonna do?" Dave asked. "Jack a park vehicle, go storming across the island?" Dave asked rhetorically.
Roxie just looked at him and smirked.

"Stop!" Shouted a female park worker.
"Hey, you don't have authorization!" Yelled the male counterpart.
And sure enough, jacking a park vehicle and storming across the island is exactly what they're doing. Because nothing was gonna stop Roxie from trying to save her campers. Dave could only look back at the two workers and then slowly turn his head towards Roxie and then facing forward with a look of shock.
Roxie on the other hand, had a look of nothing but determination as she sped through the jungle on her way to where the kids were. 'Cass, I hope you weren't lying when you told me that you'd keep them all safe. So you better be safe as well.' Roxie thought to herself as she took a sharp turn into the jungle and kept going.

INSIDE THE KAYAK RIVER
The campers were rowing down the river, with them being in the order of Kenji and Brooklynn, Darius and Sammy, Bumpy and Ben, then Yasmina and Cass. And everything seemed to be going smoothly for the last five-or-so minutes that they've been here.
"Hey, the cave's getting bigger." Brooklynn shouted out to the others. "And brighter?" She questioned.
And sure enough, both statements were true. The tunnel that they were in opened up to a larger underground cave that had a waterfall at its far left wall. As for the glowing, looking up at the ceiling and some of the upper walls of the cave, it looked as if they were under the stars. The campers, including Bumpy, could only look up at the beautiful lights that adorn the cave as they float next to the waterfall.
"Even with the glowy stuff, it's really dark in here." Kenji said as he was rowing. Brooklynn just removed the sunglasses from his face. Kenji just blinked rapidly in order to readjust to the new brightness of the cave, before turning around and taking the sunglasses back and putting them on his face once more.
"I could have used my phone as a flashlight if Sammy hadn't broken it. Of course, if we had my phone, we wouldn't be here at all." Brooklynn complained.
"Hey, will you stop harshing the mellow of the CKK?" Kenji asked.
"How many times are you gonna say CKK?" Brooklynn asked him.
"CKK? Why? Would you like me to stop saying CKK? CKK. CKK. CKK." He said just to annoy her.
"You're acting like this doesn't affect you, too." Brooklynn said with a sigh. "We're here because of her."
"Or maybe something else would have happened and we would still be stuck here. Look, I- I know you're mad at Sammy, but getting mad doesn't get us out of here. It just makes more people mad, you know?" Kenji said as he looked back at the girl. "Put yourself in her shoes. At this point, is there anything you could say that could make Sammy feel worse than she already does? Take it from someone who has ample experience in rubbing people the wrong way." Kenji concluded by turning forward and rowing again.
Brooklynn could only look down into her lap before turning around and looking at the Texan girl that she blamed for all this.
"Just ask." Sammy said to Darius as the two had been sitting in silence for awhile and could feel his want to say something.
"It's just that you talk so much about your ranch and your family. But your family sent you here to break the law." Darius said.
"Don't, Darius. You don't know anything about my family." Sammy said to him.
"I know they put you in danger when they sent you to spy on the park. How can you still defend them?" He asked the girl.
Sammy sat in silence for a few seconds before answering. "Because they didn't send me." She began paddling. "They said no to Mantah Corp. They said they'd rather lose everything than to use me like that." Sammy turned and looked at Darius. "I was the one who contacted the Mantah Corp agent. I agreed to come here. My family… they didn't even know what I was planning until I was already on the ferry. Smashing the phone was an accident, but Brooklynn's right- this is all my fault." She said as she closed her eyes and shook her head.
Darius was quiet for a moment before speaking in a more soft tone. "I still don't see why-"
"If your family was in trouble, wouldn't you do anything in your power to save them?" Sammy asked as she turned to look at the boy behind her.
And the only response he could give was silence, for he didn't have an answer.
"Ben, you need to start paddling again or else you'll be left behind." Yasmina said to the younger boy as he had set down his paddle to check on Bumpy.
"I think Bumpy's seasick." Ben said as he tried to comfort the dino.
"Well to be fair, ankylosaurs aren't exactly used to being on boats… or being in or on the water at all. So like, that's gonna be a given." Cass said with a raised eyebrow as he paddled.
"I think… we need to prepare for dino-vomit!" Ben exclaimed to the two.
Cass brought their kayak right next to Ben's. "Hop in his kayak and paddle for him, I've got this one."
"You sure?" Yasmina asked her rowing partner.
"Positive. We can't leave anyone behind." Cass told her. Yasmina gave him a nod as she stood up and hopped over to Ben's kayak and started paddling for him.
"Thanks, guys." Ben said as he watched over Bumpy.
"Think nothing of it, Ben. We gotta watch each others asses on this island." Cass said as he pushed off and rowed beside them.
"Mhm, what he said." Yasmina said in agreement.
"You guys, should the algae be moving?" Sammy questioned out loud to the group as everyone looked in the direction that she was. And like she said, some of the glowing lights were indeed moving. They weren't just any glowing lights though, no, it was bioluminescent markings on a pair of parasaurs. The two dinosaurs groaned out at the campers as they drifted by.
"Don't panic, guys. They're herbivores!" Darius yelled out to the rest of the group. "Unbelievable! Dr. Wu must have put the bioluminescent gene into these Parasaurolophuses." He said out loud, but mostly to himself.
The parasaurs let out groans once more as turned and watched the campers, suddenly, Bumpy started to squeal as she looked at the glowing dinos. And said dinos caught sight of the baby ankylosaur and walked into the water and over to the campers kayaks, with two more popping out of the water, which makes for four bioluminescent parasaurs, which all surround the groups kayaks and roughly shove them together, almost like they were trying to get them to stop.
Bumpy once more began squealing at the dinos, but it didn't seem to do anything. And the campers all grunted and tried to push them away as the parasaurolophuses kept either shoving them together or shoving them up against the cave walls.
Out of nowhere, they just stopped and looked in the direction that the river was heading, and after a few seconds, one of the parasaurs bellowed out a call, and they all backed away from the group and returned to where they were, which was further back in the tunnel.
"Uh, cool kids to nerds, where are you?" Kenji asked because at this point in the river tunnel, there was no more bioluminescent algae or dinosaurs to light up the cave, so it was pretty hard to see.
"Over here!" Darius shouted back at him. "I think something scared the Parasaurolophuses."
"Darius, if we stopped paddling, why are we still moving forward?" Sammy asked her kayaking partner.
"...Shit." Was all Cass said after hearing her say that.
And Sammy spoke the truth, they were in fact moving forward without paddling, in fact, they weren't supposed to be moving forward per say, they were meant to be turning right. Both Darius and Cass looked where the current noise was coming from, and well… it was a current.
"Paddle!" Darius yelps. "There's a current pulling us into a different tunnel." He tells the group. Ultimately, it was pointless, for they noticed it far too late in order to get out of a current this strong, it was basically vacuuming the kayaks and their passengers into the tunnel. And as the kayaks got sucked down into the tunnel, one-by-one, the campers let out their screams, all except Cass. He just let out a sigh and accepted that nothing was gonna go his way.
First campers out of the tunnel were Kenji and Brooklynn, then it was Darius and Sammy, then it was Yasmina and Ben, then finally Cass came out of the tunnel as well. And since they were now sitting in dead water, they collided with each other, so all kayaks were essentially sitting right next to each other.
They all tried to catch their breath as their eyes adjusted to the new found brightness of day, instead of the darkness in the cave.
Bumpy let out her groans as Ben checked over her and himself. "We're okay. We're okay." The other campers leaned back in their seats or in Sammy's case, let out a laugh.
"You have got to be shitting me…" Cass said as he noticed where they were at.
"What do you mean?" Yasmina asks him.
Kenji still hasn't adjusted to light yet, and puts on his sunglasses. Now that he can finally see, he let out a gasp and said. "What?" He whimpered as he quickly looked around the area.
"Why did you gasp? It didn't sound like a good gasp!" Ben said to Kenji as everyone noticed his panicked state.
"'Cause I know exactly where we are, guys. We're in the Jurassic World Lagoon." He said in a shaky tone.
"And so is the Mosasaurus." Cass dropped the bombshell on the campers.
They all let out a gasp as they sat up straight and finally took in the surrounding area.
"I assume the Mosasaurus is some kind of giant fish dinosaur that's gonna try and eat us." Ben stated.
"You would be absolutely right. But think of it less like a fish, and more like a solely aquatic alligator." Cass said to him as he looked in the water for it.
"Oh. Great." Ben said as he gave up more hope.
Darius let out a yelp as he and the others heard the low growling of the colossal beast of the lagoon, as it broke water roughly 75 feet from them on their right. They then saw the dino start moving through the water, creating ripples and waves as its spine broke through the surface of the water. Almost like it was purposely trying to intimidate them.
"It's circling, testing us. It's acting like a shark. We're intruders in its domain, so it's investigating us. Before it gets confident, decides to… to…" Brooklyn said to her fellow campers.
* snarling *
"This is bad." Brooklynn said.
"We have to get out now!" Kenji yelled to them.
"There's a ladder by the spectator stands." Darius pointed out, which were on the complete opposite end of the lagoon.
"How are we gonna-" Kenji started.
"Y'all?" Sammy said with a whimper as she looked down. And she had a reason to whimper, as the Mosasaurus was swimming beneath them, letting out its low growl.
"If you all don't start paddling now. That Mosasaurus won't be what kills you, got it?" Cass threatened the teens in order to kick-start them into action.
"You heard the scary man. Go, go, go!" Darius yelled out as the threat worked. And with that, all the campers paddled like their lives depended on it… mostly because they did.
"This is not how Kenji wanted to go out!" You know who yelled out as he paddled.
"This isn't on my to-do list either!" Yasmina yelled back at him.
"Come on!" Brooklynn screamed.
The campers were paddling as fast as they could, but they weren't even half way across the lagoon yet, and the Mosasaurus was starting to build up the confidence it needed in order to make the first strike.

ROXIE AND DAVE
The two camp counselors were parked outside the Kayak River cave entrance as they checked their ACU tablet.
"The kids must have gone in. The river leads to the main park, right?" Roxie says to Dave as he checks the ACU tablet. "There's no way that'll pick up their signal under all that rock."
"I see 'em. I see 'em." Dave says as he points towards their location. "They're not on the river anymore. They're in Aquatic Area One." He says before both him and Roxie remember what Aquatic Area One is. The two look at each other in shock before Roxie turns the vehicle and slams on the gas in order to try and get to the campers.

BACK IN THE LEVIATHAN POOL
The group was letting out their respective pants and grunts as they rowed their kayaks to safety.
"Keep paddling!" Brooklynn yelled out.
"Almost there!" Kenji said to her.
The Mosasaurus swam beneath the campers, as if it tried to disrupt the waters under them. Bumpy let out her squeals as she tried to maintain her balance on the kayak. And Yasmina let out a gasp of fright as the Mosasauruses tail broke the water off to their left.
"Don't look back!" Brooklynn yelled out. After a few more seconds of paddling, she and Kenji finally made it to the ladder and looked back for their fellow campers, and they noticed that they had just reached the halfway point.
Yasmina and Cass looked behind them and saw that Darius and Sammy were further behind them than they thought, which made them sitting ducks for the goliath that swam directly behind them, Sammy and Darius let out their whimpers of fear.
"No." Yasmina said to herself as she looked towards the pillar in the center of the lagoon, she then switched which side she was paddling on in order to get closer to it.
"Yaz, what are you doing?" Ben asked the girl as he turned to look at her.
"Whatever you do, don't stop paddling!" She told him as she hopped onto the ledge of the pillar and pushed the kayak forward.
"Yasmina—" Ben was gonna attempt to say something but got cut off.
"You heard her, just keep paddling!" Cass yelled out to the boy as he hopped out of his kayak and joined Yasmina on the ledge.
"Cass? What are you doing?" Yasmina asked the young adult next to her.
"I could ask you the same thing. But I know you don't exactly do stupid shit for no reason, so what's the plan?" He asked the younger girl beside him.
Meanwhile, Ben and Bumpy managed to make it to the ladder as Kenji and Brooklynn ran out onto the viewing platform.
"Come on, faster!" Brooklynn shouted.
"Don't look back, Sammy! Just keep paddling!" Darius said to the girl.
"I'm trying!" Sammy responded before noticing two people off to her right. "What's Yaz and Cass doing?"
Said chaotic dumbass duo at the moment saw the Mosasaurus break water as it headed straight for Darius and Sammy.
"Well?" Cass asked the girl.
"Make noise, that's the plan." She said as she began banging her paddle against the steel beam that they were standing on, and Cass could only nod and follow her lead.
The Mosasaurus was swimming through the water and opened up it's massive mouth as it got ready to eat Darius and Sammy. But thankfully, it closed its mouth preemptively as the banging and vibrations coming from the steel beam caught its attention. The leviathan then turned away from the kayak and circled around the lagoon.
"Over here! Here! Here!" Yasmina called out to the dinosaur to get its attention off of her fellow campers, which seemed to work. "Yes! Here!"
"They're distracting it, buying us time. Keep going!" Darius figured out their plan.
Yasmina and the other campers let out their cheers and laughter. All except Cass who just stared down the Mosasaurus.
"Now, how do we get out of here?" He asked his partner.
Yasmina immediately stopped laughing as she also turned towards the Mosasaurus that was now looking in their direction and swimming towards them. "I did not think this through." Was all she said.
"Shit." Was Cass's only response.
"We gotta do something!" Sammy yelled out as she and Darius got out of their kayak and onto the concrete structure of the stands.
* whirring *
The steel wire-cable that's used to feed the Mosasaurus was raising up and out of the water.
"Grab the chain!" Kenji yelled out towards them as he was at the controls.
"Ladies first." Cass said he watched the girl jump onto the cable and climb up, he soon did the same, sitting right below her.
Kenji pulled the cable up a little bit to get them away from the water and began to move the device, bringing them closer towards land.
"Go, go, go!" Brooklynn called out.
"Yasmina! Cass!" Ben yelled out their names.
The Mosasaurus began to circle underneath the two.
"No!" Yasmina whimpered as she was losing her grip, but Cass grabbed onto her and pulled her closer to him.
"It's okay, I'm not gonna let you fall." He quietly said to her as he adjusted his grip on both the cable and Yaz.
"Hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry up!" Yasmina whispered to herself in fear as she became more and more anxious hanging above the water.
"Come on you two!" Sammy yelled out.
The goliath below them had different plans as it began swimming in a straight line behind them, starting it's chase.
"Oh, no…" Ben said as he and the others took notice of the Mosasaurus behind them.
"They're not gonna make it." Kenji said as he began to lose hope.
And with one powerful leap, the Mosasaurus broke the water and opened its massive maw as it went to eat the two dangling campers. But Lady Luck and Lady Death weren't ready to let Cass go just yet, so the leviathan just barely missed the two and snapped onto the wire behind them, pulling and breaking it like nothing.
Now with the lack of a second anchor point, Cass and Yasmina began swinging towards the stands in front of them, and because of the momentum, the ACU tablet fell from Yasmina's jacket and into the lagoon below.
"Do you trust me?" Cass asked the girl quickly.
"Yes!" Yasmina yelled as she was scared at the moment.
"Then hang on!" Cass said back as he let go of the cable while holding Yasmina to his chest, taking her with him as they fell down to the stands below. But the much bigger boy wrapped his arms around the girls head and waist in order to protect her from the fall, and rotated them so that he'd hit the ground first. And hit it he did, as his entire back was what made contact with the concrete first, and after that, they began rolling until they hit a half wall.
"Yasmina! Cass!" Sammy yelled out as she and the others rushed down in order to check on the two.
"Are you two okay?" Sammy asked as she helped Yasmina up.
"I am thanks to him." Yaz said as she looked towards her savior.
"Cass?" Darius asked.
The young man had his eyes closed as he gave them a thumbs up. "Solid." Cass responded but it sounded strained. "I just need to get the air back in my lungs first."
Darius chuckled at his little joke. "You do that, man. But how about away from the water?"
"Yeah, that sounds good, too." He responded as he turned himself over and got up to his feet.
"Uh, also, where'd everyone go?" Ben asked suddenly.
And sure enough, as the group looked around they spotted no one. Not a single person in the stands.
The ACU tablet started sinking to the bottom of the lagoon, as its beeping faded out into nothing.

ROXIE AND DAVE
Roxie was driving them through the jungle as they made their way to Aquatic Area One.
"Rox, it's gone. The kids' signal is gone!" Dave called out to her.
"It's probably just a glitch, right? Reboot the system." Roxie said as she tried to avoid the thought that the kids were dead.
"Come on! Come on!" Dave chanted as he repeatedly as he reset the data on the locator app. "Give me something! Give me something!" He said in a sad tone as he didn't want the tablet to right.
Roxie slammed on the breaks, almost running over a group of compys. Roxie took the tablet from Dave and did the reset herself.
* tablet beeps *
"It's working." She said disheartened. "Their signal just stopped." Roxie said as she came to the conclusion of their disappearance, which was none other than the Mosasaurus. The two counselors shared a look as they just sit it the truck and mourn the loss of their campers.

BACK WITH THE CAMPERS
"Wednesdays are k-k-kids-eat-free days h-here at Jurassic World!" Said an automated message that was glitching out.
The campers were spread out across a set of bleachers. Ben and Bumpy were off to the side laying against each other and Kenji was looking around for any food scraps that might've been left. Yasmina was sitting on her own as she stretched her muscles like she did for Track and Field. But suddenly, the sunlight in front of her got blocked out, revealing to be Sammy standing in front of her.
"Thank you for saving us, for saving me. That was amazing. You're amazing." Sammy thanked and complimented Yasmina as she walked and sat beside her.
"Stop." Yasmina shut down the girl as she slapped her hands onto the ground and stood up. She looks down at the girl and says through grit teeth. "We may need each other to live, but don't for a second think that makes us friends again. Because we're not and we will never be."
Sammy couldn't find any words to say, so she just stared at Yasmina as she walked over to Cass and sat beside him. She sat down on the bench and pulled her knees to her chest, slowly becoming more and more visibly upset as she tried not to cry.
"You okay?" Came the unlikely voice of Brooklynn, as she walked down a few steps to get to her level and sat a few feet away from her.
"Naw. Not really." Sammy admitted honestly.
"Yeah. Dumb question." Brooklynn said as she tucked her hair behind her ear.
After sitting in silence for a few seconds, Brooklynn said. "I don't know her that well, but I think if you give Yaz some space, she'll come around." But got no response. "Maybe? I don't know, I'm gonna be honest- IRL friendships aren't really my thing, but, uh… sounds right, yeah?" Brooklynn and said while turning towards Sammy.
"Why are you being so nice to me?" Sammy asked the girl.
"Because Kenji is right. Ugh, that feels so wrong to say. Never, ever repeat that. Ugh. Gross." Brooklynn said with disgust. But let out a sigh and started again. "Listen, I've done my share of selfish things. I only knew what you were up to because I was also sneaking into places I shouldn't. You were at least doing it for family. I was doing it to impress a bunch of angry internet randos." Brooklynn said. Sammy's eyes widened and raises her eyebrows.
"Plus, when we get out of here, you're gonna give me the exclusive on all the juicy details of you spying for Mantah Corp. "Brooklynn Unboxes a Conspiracy" pow pow!" She announced as she made fake gun sounds while doing finger guns. "Try to tell me my videos are lame after that, angry internet randos!" Brooklynn said out loud while striking a pose.
Sammy just started giggling at the girl.
"So… deal?" Brooklynn said as she stood up in front of Sammy and offered her hand.
"Deal." Sammy said with a smile as she shook Brooklynn's hand.
"So, not to be a total downer, but Operation Find People to Help Us is, heh… clearly a bust." Kenji said eating some left over popcorn and walking over to Darius. He offers the boy some of his popcorn but he just shakes his head no. So Kenji just pours the rest into his mouth.
"My dad talked about coming here for years. And here we are." Darius said halfheartedly.
"Yep. Welcome to Jurassic World." Kenji said with a light hint of sarcasm. He and Darius just looked off into the distance as they saw the setting sun and dinosaurs flying through the sky, letting out screeches.
* alarm blaring *
Hearing the loud siren caught everyone's attention. With Kenji and Darius standing straighter, Sammy standing up and standing next to Brooklynn, Ben and Bumpy waking up from their nap they took and searching for the sound, Cass and Yaz slowly standing up and listening to the siren blare.
* alarm blaring *
* alarm blaring *
The siren kept blaring off from the speakers and into the evening.

As you could see, I removed Yasmina getting injured in the fall, which will open up a more active part for her to play in these next parts. Which means I'm gonna have to come up with my own shit in order to fill in those spots.
I do it for you guys, really.
