When the Captain suddenly comes down with a strange illness, Dr McCoy traces it back to the new supply of food cubes the Enterprise has just received. He discovers that if anyone does not get treated within 72 hours, they will die. It's up to good ol' Leonard to save the ship. Can he do it?

Spock is out of his mind trying to find a gift for Jim. He doesn't understand the human tradition anyway, but he'll get Jim the perfect gift if it kills him. Spirky fluff!
