My lie had backfired securing a place for Rapunzel in Ravadyn. This wouldn't do at all and when I tried to take her home, the place she had always known, my flower refused me. As she grew older, my charade was failing me. Always a curious young woman and always one to ask questions. The thief, Flynn Rider, has grown fond of her. It was easy to tell in the way he looked at her so caring and protective. When Rapunzel sent me away that night, I monitored the outside woods for any opening I could find to take her away from this place. Relishing in that fact right under Conwyn's nose, it was easy to tell her visits outside were limited. Xander too was keeping her hidden away. /span/p

Stitched on the inside of the cloak on the left side was a spell etched in a long forgotten language. A spell to summon a guardian that wasn't human to protect Sol Lillitalus from the cruelty and selfishness of man. The cloak must be worn and the spell called upon to unleash the summoning of the beast Dkava. My mother failed to tell me that the wearer becomes Dkava. A wolf of swift speeds, keen sense of smell, claws and teeth for ripping apart enemies or those who would take Sol Lillitalus. I was young when I first cast the spell and the cloak came alive cocooning my body and enveloping me in its magic power. Reshaping my body into that of Dkava was a brutal experience, but I found I had a sense of self as the creature. I was in control and to revert back I just had to carve a symbol on the ground in the beast form. When Xander broke my heart, it was tempting to take out my rage as Dkava, but I resisted that urge. Traveling as the beast alone in the woods was handy on more than one occasion. /span/p

I summoned Dkava to keep warm outside as I circled the Briarwell grounds and my patience paid off when I saw Rapunzel emerge from the manor. The thief got her outside. I detested the company she was keeping. I watched them go riding in the snow at a distance and she cozied up close as the night wore on. This man was trouble even more than those two twin idiots I hired. They remained out all night together and when Lachlan found them I was quite relieved. Again I was alone and I waited, but when more people emerged from Briarwell saddling up horses, I knew something was up. Rapunzel came out joining the party along with the thief. Following them carefully and stealthily, I clawed the symbol to return human as I neared the harbor. Xander, Rapunzel, and the rest of the party docked a ship, which I had to move quickly to board as well hopping into a cargo trunk to be taken on board. Hiding out in the hold for the majority of the journey, I waited until the ship came to a stop. Rapunzel and the rest of the party of protection got off the ship and with my dagger, I slit the throat of every sailor on board to avoid detection. Rapunzel and the others climbed the hill from the snowy cove where we had docked. The winter cold here was unlike any I had ever experienced. I knew Odonrora was rumored to be cold and desolate, but not to this degree. Walking down the gangplank, I threw up my hood and conjured the spell to summon Dkava. Xander was after his flower for power and I was coming to reclaim mine./span/p
