My imagining of Willow's and Tara's first time.

I do not own Buffyverse.

It was late at night, when Willow had retreated to the dorm after one of the frat parties on campus and read some books, which weren't really her thing due to her being a bit shy and meek but after some insistence from Buffy and Willow Tara had joined and had some fun but then decided to return to her room some time later and Willow was reading a book at her bed with the lamp shining onto her, when she turned to see Tara enter and turning on the light and Willow looked a bit embarrassed.

"You left the party a bit too soon." Tara said.

"Well, it was fun but it wasn't really… my kind of thing." Willow said hesitantly. "Don't get me wrong, I had no complaints but…"

Tara nodded in understanding. "Drinking and partying isn't exactly my thing either." She said and Willow nodded appreciatively before Tara's attention turned to the book in Willow's hand. "What are you reading?"

"It's… It's just a collection of love poems. It's not for school but… sometimes I do wonder how it must feel like to have that kind of inspiration and dedication and heart to feel what they feel in those words." Willow said before she shook her head, looking timid suddenly, like when they had first met. "It probably sounds silly…"

"Not at all. You won't mind if I read with you?" Tara asked and Willow shrugged as Tara took a look next to her, Tara's eyes turning to the words on the pages.

"I carry your heart with me
(I carry it in my heart)
I am never without it
(anywhere I go you go, my dear;
and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling)

I fear no fate(for you are my fate, my sweet)
I want no world(for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart)"

Tara finished reading as she turned to Willow, smiling. "I think it's sweet."

"Thanks." Willow said as she got up and placed the book on the desk. "When I was reading it, I began thinking about…" She trailed off as she met Tara's eyes, unsure whether to say it or not but it became obvious to Tara about who was Willow talking about and at first Willow felt embarrassed by having to admit to have a crush on Tara but Tara seemed to only smile in return.

"Are you afraid?" Tara asked, holding Willow by her hand. "You don't have to be."

They met each other's eyes and next thing they knew, they kissed and Willow felt her hands being lifted above as Tara lifted her shirt away gently, while the skirt slipped down Willow's legs and suddenly, Willow stood before Tara naked and instinctively, Willow's arms went to her chest in an attempt to cover her breasts but Tara's hands intercepted her movement, gripping Willow's wrists gently as Tara gave her an assuring look.

"It's alright." Tara said softly. "You're beautiful, Willow."

Suddenly, Willow felt her heart racing, every heartbeat faster and louder with each moment as she began breathing rapidly before their lips touched and Tara allowed Willow to reach to Tara's waist as the sleeves of her shirt slipped through her arms and over her head, while Tara ran her mouth to Willow's nipple and her hands running down Willow's arms, while Willow's fingers were touching Tara's breasts, their bodies pressed against each other as fierce desire took them over.

Suddenly, Tara pushed Willow to the bed, laying on top of her as Tara's mouth went close to Willow's breasts, while ecstatic soft moans escaped Willow's lips before Tara met Willow's eyes.

"Is this your first time?" Tara asked.

"With a girl." Willow admitted.

"How is it?" Tara asked.

"Keep going." Willow said.

Tara's mouth traced down Willow's chest to her thighs as Willow panted out, losing herself in the ecstatic pleasure, every muscle in her body going rigid and tensing. She reached down, her hands twisting Tara's hair in her fingers before Tara made her way up to Willow's face as their lips touched and they held each other by their cheeks, kissing passionately before they pulled away.

"You and me tonight… it means everything." Willow said.

"Just us and no one else." Tara said as their legs entangled beneath the covers of the bed and their hands were pulling each other's heads towards another kiss as they resumed losing themselves in each other under the moonlight.
