I do not own Percy Jackson and the Olympians, nor do I own the Heroes of Olympus

This story will range from the lightning thief all the way to the blood of Olympus, and beyond.

I'm not that great of a writer, so do not be surprised if you find something that doesn't have enough detail.

Narrator's PoV

There were countless pantheons as it stood in the world, some more powerful than others, others less than some. Yet each and every single pantheon has its role. Some knew of others, yet some were isolated through choice and ignorance.

Some of these pantheons are more commonly referred to in the mortal world as mythologies. Some had faded from lack of worship, others faded due to laziness, and some due to war. Yet remained only a few mythologies.

Of these few were the Greek/Roman pantheon, the Norse pantheon, the Egyptian pantheon, the Hindu/Buddhist pantheon, the Shinto pantheon, and the Celtic pantheon.

In each of these mythologies, each has a form of a creator.

For now, we will only focus on the greek/roman pantheon. There were countless mythical creatures in the present modern world, ranging from nymphs to naiads and even "monsters." The mortals are known as humans, and the animals, some for domestic purposes, like livestock. The others were kept in the wild unable to be tamed. There was a few other types of creature in the world. These were known as 'gods.'

These gods were split into major and minor gods vastly outnumbering the major gods. The major gods formed what is known as the olympian council to reign over the little gods as a democratic monarchy.

It was a relative time of peace, at least currently. Millenia, before the present, the gods had defeated the titans. The previous rulers.

The rule of titans was cruel and agonizing for those who weren't of the lineage of a titan. Violence reigned supreme in the world of man. Peace was limited and was few and far between.

The Titans were led by their king Kronos, the titan lord of time and the keeper of ages and harvest. After the defeat of Krono's father, Uranus, at the hands of Kronos and four of his brothers, a prophecy was foretold.

Kronos was told that just as he had done to his father, so would be done to him.

After a long while, consuming five of his six children, he would be overthrown by his son Zeus.

Zeus would then be crowned king of the gods and rule the world next to his siblings, Hera, Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, and Hestia.

After a long while, the Olympian council would comprise Zeus, Hera, Demeter, Poseidon, Ares, Hephaestus, Apollo, Artemis, Hermes, Diyonisious, Aphrodite, and Athena. Hestia was the keeper of the Hearth; she was the "peacekeeper" of the olympian council. Hades was the god of the underworld and, as such, was only allowed on Olympus on two separate occasions every year.

Even before the Titans were another council, unknown to the titans and gods. This council was known as the primordial council. This council comprised members representing a particular domain with the rare occasion of a couple of members.

These members were: Gaia, the primordial of the earth; Uranus, the primordial of the sky; Ouranos, the primordial of the stars and constellations; Tartarus, the primordial of the pit; Pontus, the Primordial of the sea; Oceanus, the primordial of freshwater; Aether, the primordial of Light and Upper atmosphere; Hemera, the primordial of the day; Nyx, the primordial of the night; Erebus, the primordial of darkness; Annake, the primordial of compulsion and inevitability; Chronos, the primordial of time; Eros, the primordial of love; Phanes, the primordial of procreation; Hydros, the primordial of liquids; Phusis, the primordial of nature; Ourea, the primordial of mountains, and the Moriai, the three primordials of Fate.

This council ruled silently, preferring to be in the background rather than in the forefront of attention. As such, they didn't need worship to be present.

The primordial council ruled in the background of both the Titans and still reigns in the rule of the gods.

Now unknown to the olympian, othryian, and the primordial councils, there were creators of everything before them.

These creators spanned through each of the mythologies.

From the Greco-roman pantheon came Chaos and Order; from the Norse pantheon came Yggdrasil; from the Egyptians came Amun-Ra and Maat; from the Hindu/Buddhist pantheon came Brahma; from the Shinto pantheon came Amenominakanushi-no-Kami, Takamimusubi, and Kamimusubi; and from the Celtics came Anu.

There were plenty of other creators, but these were the major 'players' when creating the world and how things came to be.

However, even to the creators' knowledge, who some spoke themselves into existence, there was one who existed before them.

This person's name was lost in the void of emptiness.

Some mortals may ask themselves theoretical questions about mythologies written down by famous writers in the BCE era. But when they search for answers from the person who came before the creators, they find no definitive name, only a dangerous title to speak to. To swear upon a creator's word and be proven wrong or break their oath, their essence and soul will be torn apart with the strength of multiple black holes for eternity.

If you were to swear upon this person and have broken the sworn oath, the punishment would be to have any trace of your existence be erased, before being erased from time, and having your essence destroyed.

This person's title was simply the Ancient One or merely the Ancient.

The Ancient was powerful, inexplicably so. His domains were the void, emptiness, creation, destruction, apocalypse, existence, inexistence, loyalty, betrayal, energy, matter, temperature, sanity, annihilation, death, war, pestilence, famine, conquest, decay, life, genocide, space, reality, universe, multiverse, possibility, choice, pain, torture, fatal flaws, sin, virtues, balance, beginnings, endings, infinity, fantasy, punishment, knowledge, and intelligence.

His titles were equally as long, the keeper of the void, the empty(emptiness), the before and after(creation, destruction, existence, inexistence, beginnings, and endings), lord of the apocalypse, king of the four horsemen, the all-consuming decay, the birth of life, the bringer of genocide, the vast(space), lord of loyalty and betrayal, the embodiment of energy and matter, ruler of temperature, creator of sanity, lord of overwhelming force(annihilation, conquest), the birth of the planes of reality, the keeper of the universe, father of the multiverse, the all-father of choice(choice, possibility, and balance), creator of sin and virtues, the infinite, the creator of imagination(fantasy), the punisher of wrongdoing(punishment, torture), and the father of knowledge( knowledge and intelligence).

The Ancient has grown tired of the arrogance of the world's deities. He has grown tired of watching as countless demigods die, as numerous races of monsters are murdered in genocides by the wish of arrogant gods who think themselves all-powerful.

The ancient would begin to change the world, well, at least the world of the Greco-roman pantheon. The other pantheons focused upon different realities. Those realities could wait their turn.

Let me know how I'm doing. Don't be afraid to answer the poll on my profile, it will determine the love interest in the story. There will be no lemons as I am not good at writing as it is, and I'm unable to write anything of the sort as of right now.
