Sorry for the late update, the school has been tough on me lately and I have been dealing with personal things.

I occasionally will get writer's block and so I won't write for a little while, so don't be surprised if I don't update for a week or two.

Like always, I don't own any of the Percy Jackson Series.

There will be references to other book series and or games in this chapter. Yes those references will eventually turn into chapters.

So enjoy today's chapter.

Dreamscape Percy Pov

Rather than a dreamless sleep, I found myself once again in a dream. I was almost actually present wherever I was.

I stood under the roof of an oddly shaped building. The rain came down in cascades of heavenly tears. The building seemed to be made out of a mix of small stones, mud, wood, and whatever plants were long and pliable. There weren't that many people in the surrounding area, but the place seemed filled with life.

I suddenly saw him again. The same man from before. What had he called me? His transmigrate? This time he was dressed in weird robes. The robes were dark black and armored with steel or iron. The hood perfectly covered his eyes and came up to a small point on the top brow of the hood. On his shoulders were straps of throwing knives. On his left shoulder was an early version of a crossbow. On his right shoulder was a two-handed bearded ax. On his waist was a standard-sized 13th-century dagger that screamed a hidden power.

The man briefly looked at me and slightly nodded his head at me in acknowledgment. He continued walking into the building. The building didn't look anything special, yet it seemed to hide something vitally important.

As he continued to walk into the building, I was forced to step in after him.

As we walked in, it turned into a pub-styled bar. People of all social classes were within the building. Some were dressed in miss-matched garments with patches of scrap clothing. Others were dressed in average clothing for the time. There were only three in the room that had expensive-looking clothing.

The man from before, The Ancient One, I would guess. He walked into the back and sat in a small booth. I blinked a couple times and found myself in the booth next to the man. We sat there for about twenty to forty minutes before another man sat down.

The man sitting before us was of large stature; he had bushy black hair a bushy mustache that would put hulk hogan to shame. He was dressed in moderate armor. Leaned up against the table was a two-handed greatsword.

The man looked nervous, almost terrified. The man, despite his appearance, spoke in an average pitch, "Ezio, I am scared. My brother and his family will be executed for merely being related to the assassin cause. They don't deserve to be killed for such things. The templars are going to kill innocent children. Please, do me this favor, I'll do anything to repay you."

The ancient one, or Ezio as he was known to the man, responded slowly. "I will do my best to keep them from being executed. However, some things will be set in stone that can't be broken out of the set balance. Although, I will most likely keep the older children from being executed. I will be honest, Mario, if I think it is, I won't be able to do much. If you do this for me, I want you and the others to train the Oldest of the children to be the next Assassin Grandmaster; what was his name? Ezio, was it? He will have an excellent reputation to fill in. Teach him well, my friend, and remember, Niente è vero, tutto è permesso. (Nothing is true, everything is true.)

Mario muttered the same thing back to Ezio. We soon left the booth before sauntering through the pub. Ezio slowly eyed each person in the pub before moving his arm behind a man's head and hovering it above his kneck. Ezio brought his hand back oddly; there was an odd shlink sound in the second after. The man in front of Ezios's hand stiffened for a second before leaning forward into his food. The man who had slumped over was one of the three extravagantly dressed men. Ezio sat him upright in his chair and revealed a necklace with a weirdly shaped cross as the emblem. What I hadn't noticed was the trail of blood trailing down the man's neck from a one-inch hole.

We continued walking out toward the door. We exited the pub, and Ezio turned back to me. "Soon. You will remember everything. Soon. Just be ready; your world is about to become crazy." I began to wake up by shimmering out of the dream world.

Dreamscape end

I woke up with a loud gasp. I was covered in a bout of cold sweat. My chest rose in silent anxiety. My mind raced, trying to figure out what had transpired in my dream.

That wasn't a dream Perseus. It wouldn't have been anything like that if it was. It was a memory of a past life.

Breaking myself out of my thoughts, I got up and quickly altered my appearance. I was dressed in black punk clothing. A leather jacket around my shoulders unzipped down the middle, a black shirt with trails of red under it. The trails seemed to show like blood. I wore form-fitting black jeans that tapered down over my spiked combat boots. I wore a golden necklace with a pendant shaped like a sword.

I walked out of the Hermes cabin and found that the sun hadn't risen, yet I could still see perfectly. So I went on a run. I was lost in thought and trying to figure out what Ezio or the Ancient one had possibly meant in the memory. It was strange, it held the qualities of a demigod dream, yet I remembered both perspectives of the memory. I remembered telling myself what was spoken, but I also remembered being told to be ready.

After what had felt like a couple of minutes had been, in reality, about an hour. I was brought out of my thoughts as I heard a scream filled with terror. I ran over the hill and discovered a boy of about eight years old running towards me. His face was stricken with a near-fatal amount of fear. Behind him were a bull-man, two overly large mutts, and the queen of math teachers, Mrs. Dodds.

My hand instinctively went to my pocket and found nothing.

"That's odd. I feel like something should have been there."

I sidestepped to the side and let the panicked eight-year-old pass by me. I stepped back into the path of the monsters. I began to take in my surroundings.

I was at what I was guessing camp half-blood hill. The stone entrance surrounded me. On either side of the monsters were lines of trees with an abundance of sticks lying on the ground.

Two torches hung on their metal holders embedded into the stone.

I didn't have anything to fight, so I did something stupid. I simply raised my hand and closed my eyes.

I began to chant inside my head:

Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die!

I soon felt an odd energy move through my body before moving down my arm and condensing in front of my hand. I wasn't sure what to do from here, so I decided to throw the object, or whatever was in front of my hand toward the monsters. I opened my eyes to the sight of four dumbfounded monsters looking at me before a grey orb materialized from thin air between us. Their dumbfounded expressions changed to bewilderment than to terror. The orb landed on the ground before them. The monsters had a slight smile on their faces before laughing.

The smiles were just as quickly blown off their faces as they had come, as the orb of grey energy exploded. The monsters' bodies began to decay and crumble to silver dust. In the back of my mind, I knew that they wouldn't be coming back ever again.

I turned around and found Chiron standing there.

"Perseus, what was that?"

"I..I don't know. Chiron, swear on the styx that you won't tell anyone about this. Not even the gods, at least not until I figure out what I just did. Please." I spoke to the Centaur.

Chiron nodded and swore. The rumbling of thunder sealed the oath.

We began walking back into the camp, the sun just starting to rise. On the way back into the camp, the young boy came back to me. Instead of silverish-black hair, it was orangish-red, and it was long. It went down to the middle of my back; it was curly. There was also the fact that my chest grew, not much, but still noticeable, even with the leather jacket.

The boy was dressed in tattered shorts and a green shirt. He was adorable, with sandy blond hair and greenish-grey eyes.

There were visible trails of dried tears on his face, his eyes were puffy, and yet he still had a slight smile on his face.

He came up alongside me. "My name is Ethan; what's your name?" Ethan asked with an almost joyful tone.

I kneeled down in front of Ethan and wiped away the trails of tears from his face. "My name is Perseus; it's nice to meet you, Ethan."

"Per. Pers. Purse." Ethan struggled to pronounce my name.

Chuckling, I spoke, "It's okay, Ethan, just call me Shado."

"Okay! Thank you for saving me, Shado." Ethan spoke.

"You're very welcome. Come on, let's go eat. We don't want to miss breakfast."

"Okay come on," Ethan said while pulling me toward where the other campers were moving toward.

The pavilion was excellent. There were tables for each of the tables. Despite my inability to eat or drink, I still put food on my plate. I helped Ethan with his food, and we gave a portion of our food to the gods. I put my entire plate of food in the fire. A second later, a heavenly smell of burgers and french fries filled the air; the fire turned the color of the sea and died down after a moment.

Ethan and I sat back down at the Hermes table. I helped Ethan eat his food, and then we got up to go to our lessons.

Later in the day, after some introductory classes. Such as archery with the Apollo cabin; combat tactics with Luke Castellon from the Hermes cabin; Healing with a boy named Will solace; Ancient greek and greek history with the Athena cabin. I even attended some classes with the Demeter cabin and two boys similar in appearance to Mr. D... Though I found the Hephaestus cabin particularly remarkable as they had a forge built into the cabin. When I say forge, I don't mean some little fire contraption in the corner of a garage. I mean, like a full-sized commercial blacksmithing shop. It was built underneath the cabin so it wouldn't look bulky. I had already had some plans worked out with the head counselor of the Hephaestus cabin, a boy named Charles Beckendorf.

If I hadn't mentioned earlier, I have an eidetic memory, meaning I remember anything I hear or see. So when I had seen the pen Chiron had thrown me and turned into a sword and then turned back into a pen without me noticing, I had some ideas.

The results of my classes had given each head counselor ideas of which godly parent I had.

Lee Fletcher, the Apollo cabin counselor, was astounded by my ability to use a bow and my healing powers, both for myself and others.

Charles Beckendorf, the Hephaestus counselor, was amazed by my ideas, forging abilities, and high intellect. Beck(nickname) had stated that "your ability to do complicated equations inside your head in a matter of seconds is crazy. You are doing college-level equations at the same time as making complicated contraptions. It's like making a computer focus on two seperate tasks at the same time with the same speed and accuracy."

Malcolm Pace, and Annebeth Chase, the Co-counselors for the Athena cabin, had been amazed by my greek mythology knowledge and my fascination with anything that could be known. I had been interested in pretty much anything, from battle tactics to the origins of metals, architecture, myths, and even combat strategies.

Katie Gardner and Miranda Gardiner, the Co-counselors for the Demeter cabin, had found my talent with plant life to be excellent. It was said to be "almost on par with Demeter herself.l" Although I vehemently protested the Praise saying "that I could never attain such skill as the god of agriculture herself." (little do they know)

Luke Castellon, the Hermes cabin counselor, was intrigued by the amount of skill I had shown with each type of weapon aside from the bow. I assumed that he figured I was a child of Ares, but I kind of put that assumption aside when I didn't show any arrogance or "mean-headdedness."

Flashback Training Session with Luke

We stood in a semi-circle around Luke, I didn't know about the others, but I was paying attention to every single word and syllable that came out of Luke's mouth. I also committed every move to memory.

At this moment, Luke was talking about how to disarm an opponent.

He asked for an opponent to demonstrate on; without hesitating, I stepped forward, ignoring the bewildered stares upon my back. I wanted to figure out how to make a move against all types of opponents with different skill levels, so I asked, "If I want to learn how to do this against an opponent(s) which skill-level should I demonstrate with?"

Without a single moment of hesitation, Luke responded with a joyful tone, "Let's start out with a beginners skill level and raise it up from there so others can learn without being confused, okay?" I merely nodded in response.

Luke gave a shout of "Start!" to start the demonstration.

I ran forward and went to swing the sword to my left from my right side, aimed for mid-chest in height.

Luke blocked the blade with his own sword held in his right hand. His left hand gripped my sword just above my hand. He then planted his left elbow into my forearm before shoving my body away with a push. The action caused me to lose my grip on the sword.

Flashback End

So then Luke had begun to teach me sword combat, including offense, defense, dueling, and even how to face multiple opponents.

Soon, the day had turned dark, and we were again at the pavilion for dinner. The table seemed less crowded than during breakfast, but Luke said a few campers probably skipped dinner.

Soon dinner was over, and we were led back to our cabins for the night.

That night I once again had another dream/memory.

Dreamscape Start

I was once again confused as to where I was. This time we were inside a castle. It looked old, yet modern, if that made any sense. The paintings on the wall seemed to be alive; most of the painted images moved and could speak. Students dressed in robes and pointed hats. We were in a hall of some sort. Not like a hallway, but a hall, like a very large room. Chandeliers hung from the ceiling; the architecture dates back to 11th century Europe, possibly Britain. Four long tables stood in the central part of the room. At the end was another table with adults sitting at it. A line of students lined up at the opposite end of the room. A woman, obviously elderly, I would guess around the age of mid-sixties.

She started calling out names, and a hat was placed upon the heads of the aforementioned students. The cap would then call out a word, and the students would go to the appropriate table.

There were only four names that the hat would call out. Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each time a student was divided, the according table would cheer out in unison.

I felt that a few students would become vitally important in my future, or at least the children of these students perhaps. The students were Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, James Potter, Sirius Black, Alastor Moody, Severus Snape.

I eyed what I assumed was the teacher's table and found the man I now knew as Ezio. I immediately figured that the man was immortal. The architecture and clothing fashion seemed vastly different, almost as if centuries had passed. An older man with a not quite as mid-chest length wispy white beard stood and began speaking. I couldn't hear whatever was said, but I could tell it was directed toward Ezio. Only now, he wasn't known as Ezio, but rather Professor Eli Falcon. He was the new professor for the defense against dark arts. Whatever that was.

Professor Falcon, as I'm going to call him, met my eyes and mouthed "soon." Then the images surrounding me faded.

I was on the hill leading down to Montauk beach, where my mother, Sally Jackson, would take me to in the summers to help me transition to home life from the overbearing School life.

The weather was violent, the wind swirled quickly. Rain pounded onto the ground. The waves crashed on the shore violently, more so than ever before. The waves stood at massive heights of fifty feet. On the beach, a horse and eagle were fighting. The horse was black-colored, and the eagle was like an average eagle, except that both animals seemed to radiate power. Unknown to the horse and eagle, a raven stood off to the side, cawing wildly, almost as if it was encouraging the two to fight.

Suddenly the weather seemed drowned out, almost silent; a giant shadow of a hand connected to a deformed body with an evil-looking head. It was laughing wildly. A booming voice suddenly made itself known to me. "Fight my children, FIGHT!" It didn't seem to know that I was there. I just watched silently as it continued. I soon started to wake, my image fading as I exited the world of Morpheus and Hypnos.

Dreamscape End

I soon woke up in the same bed. I went to go shower and get ready for the day. After leaving the bathroom, I got dressed in the same outfit from yesterday. This time I was inside a male body, except for the genitalia, of course. I had a lean and muscular bodybuilder physique. Not overly bulky, but enough so that most people would know well enough to leave me alone. I stood about five foot seven inches.

I decided to go on my run again.

By the time I was done with my run, it was just about time for breakfast.

I was walking toward the Hermes cabin when a voice called out, "Hey Newbie, it's time for your initiation."

The voice belonged to a girl roughly five foot six inches in height. She wore a brown leather jacket over a faded orange camp half-blood shirt. She wore spiked combat boots with denim jeans. She was bigger than the other campers I had seen, but I could tell it was more muscle than anything else.

"Okay. Lead me in the direction miss." I replied with a monotonous tone.

She looked at me weirdly for a second. "Y'know you seem different to me. I'm going to give you a differenet intiation than I normally give."

I hesitantly nodded for a moment before following the girl to wherever she was taking me.

After a good five-minute walk across the camp, we arrived at the Arena. Inside was a crowd of demigods. Most were dressed in armor. They all looked tough and fit, eager to battle.

The girl led me down to the Arena floor, where she began to speak, "Brothers! Sisters! I bring you one of our "newbies." We are going to give them a proper initiation. Let's do our thing. Let's start out with hand-to-hand combat, then knives, daggers, swords, spears, other weapons, and just for fun archery."

The demigods began cheering even louder if possible.

Hesitantly I shifted into a mix between a Muay Thai and a Krav Maga stance.

The boy in front of me was in a standard boxing stance with his fists raised at the perfect height for defense while still seeing.

He approached me rather quickly with a double jab. I leaned to the side, letting both slides by me.

I shifted my weight slightly, allowing me to kick if necessary.

The boy ran out of patience and went for a heavy line drive with his right arm. I sidestepped to my left and kicked into the boy's stomach. The kick knocked the wind out of his lungs as he layed on the ground for a few seconds. A moment later, he got up and charged at me.

I assumed he was in a "battle rage" as his movements were clumsy and sloppy. His attacks were reckless, and his defense was filled with holes.

The boy went to strike at me again with a feint. I dodged the feint and blocked his actual strike. I quickly shoved him back and delivered an ax kick to his shoulder, knocking him down.

The boy fell to the ground quickly, and I knelt down above him, fist pulled back to hit his face. "Do you yield?"I asked.

He didn't reply audibly but rather tapped my leg twice. I got up, and he let out a gasp of air, suddenly able to breathe.

Soon we were moving on to knife fights which I quickly won. Then onto daggers, again I won. Then onto swords where I decimated anyone who came against me. Then onto spears. I decimated most. Only the girl who led me here could keep up with me, but she was constantly on the defensive, and when she tried to take advantage of my breaks in combat, she was soon on the defensive. So I was essentially on par with her.

And, so on it went, weapon after weapon, I defeated anyone who wanted to try to "initiate" me.

Then we got to archery. I was so good at it that most of the demigods present were sure I was a child of Apollo. The speed at which I could draw and fire an arrow was astounding. Pair that with the fact that my range and accuracy were deadly. Even on moving targets, I was perfectly accurate.

The girl from before came back up to me. She began speaking, "Whats your name?"

"Perseus, but I would rather go by Shado." I replied in an even tone.

She nodded for a moment, "Okay. I'm Clarisse; I'm the head counselor for the Ares cabin. You've earned not only my respect but the entire cabin of Ares' respect. You will always have the house of Ares as an ally. Speaking of which, tomorrow is the weakly capture the flag game. Would you do us the honour and fight with us to steal the flag of Athena?" Clarisse asked.

"Of course. It would be my honor to fight alongside great warriors like yourselves." I called out to the crowd.

The demigods from cabin five roared out in exclamation.

Soon we were directed to the Pavillion to eat food. I sat at the Hermes table next to Ethan. I helped the eight-year-old eat his food as some of it was difficult to cut.

That night I had another dream, though it was another memory.

Dreamscape Start

I appeared in a temple of sorts. No, more like a throne room; people were kneeling before an old man. To the side of the man was Ezio. I could tell it was Ezio rather than Professor Falcon, as he looked slightly younger, if at all possible because the mask was still upon his face. There were large pillars on the sides of the room. Images of different points in Egyptian history were displayed. Glyphs and hieroglyphs marked the edges of the images and lined the pillars.

Ezio merely mouthed "soon" once again as the images faded once again.

Now I stood on the edge of somewhere dark and desolate. I could hear screams of despair and loneliness behind me somewhere in the distance. Before me was a cliffside with a gigantic hole in the floor. It seemed bottomless as I stared down into the seemingly infinite darkness. Though in the back of my mind, I scoffed, "Infinite my ass." An invisible force seemed to almost try and drag me into the pit.

I mentally swatted at the touch, and the force disappeared. A voice suddenly spoke, "Interesting. Your are the most interesting of all my past grandchildren."

"Do. Not. Touch. Me." I grit out between clenched teeth.

"Oh, did I strike a nerve?" The voice said. The force came back down on me twice as hard as before.

I swatted it away again. I then repeated myself, "Do not touch me. Or do I need to tell it to your face?" I asked angrily.

"You do not have the ability to do so."

I didn't reply. I merely unfurled all of my wings and jumped down into the pit. With a few flaps of my wings, I was soon approaching the surface of rugged land at incredible speeds upwards of Mach twenty.

I landed on the ground with incredible force. The ground shook violently and continued to shake for an extremely long amount of time. I walked forward toward a casket-looking object. I could tell this was the source of the voice. I shoved open its top and yelled at the "empty" space inside. "Do not touch me!" I soon began to wake up, my image fading.

Dreamscape End

I woke up in my bed covered in sweat, my wings unfurled. I willed them to disappear as I didn't wish to be questioned.

I snapped, and I was dressed in goth clothing from yesterday. Only now, there were a few slash marks on the thighs of my pants. Revealing beautiful brown skin with tints of red to it.

I went on a longer run than normal, sorting out my thoughts and calming myself down. I didn't return to the Hermes cabin until mid-afternoon.

Timeskip Beginning of Capture the Flag

The campers were more excited than ever. After dinner, we were led to the woods, splitting into teams. Athena had allied themselves with the Apollo and Hermes cabins. The Ares cabin had associated with me, the Aphrodite, Dionysis, Demeter, and the Hephaestus cabins.

The plan was to essentially put the beat down on the opposing team.

I spoke up, gaining the attention of the others. "I have a quick question to you all."

It was silent for a moment; I continued, "How many times have you all won with this strategy?"

There were a few replies of only one, but most kept silent.

"Clarisse, we try the same thing we become readable. It won't matter if we are great warriors. A skill won't matter then if we don't have numbers. Since you never change your strategy, they don't need to either. So I propose sending most of our people to engage their main force. Send a small party to take over their flanks. Leave a couple of people to guard the flag, and you and I can go down the side of the boundaries to take their flag. They will leave it unguarded because they will be overconfident."

Everyone seemed surprised, and a few had their palms on their faces from shame. Clarisse stood there, surprised for a moment before we scrambled to our positions as the horn sounded off, starting the game.

Clarisse and I began down the side of the field. We could hear the sounds of fighting. Warcries of demigods sounded off one after another as the action only seemed to intensify. We continued down past the creek and into enemy territory. Soon we approached the flag, and like I predicted, the flag was unguarded. I picked up the banner and began running back to our side, with Clarisse keeping pace with me.

I could hear a shout from behind me. I didn't look back and decided to run faster, turning into a dead sprint. Clarisse fell into step behind me, acting as a defense from behind. As I approached the creek, I ran into Luke. We collided with each other. The breath knocked out of our lungs as I tried to get up quickly. I soon realized that both flags were lying on the ground, specifically in the creek. Stumbling to my feet, I picked up both flags and walked toward the Ares territory. Soon both flags turned red with a picture of a boar on them.

A conch horn sounded off as I crossed the creek. Chiron clopped through the stream toward us and yelled out, "GAME OVER! Team ARES has won!"

Cheers could be heard from around the field. Soon the campers were gathered around us. Luke looked happy for me. Annabeth, the blonde girl, child of Athena, looked mad. Other campers had mixed emotions. We were all brought out of our thoughts as a canine growl was heard from behind me. I turned around and dropped the flags; I held out my spear in front of me, ready for any threat. Everyone else had readied their weapons. Chiron had his bow out with an arrow at the ready. Suddenly, a large howl that could shake buildings ripped through the air. On one of the rocks above us was a dog-like wolf the size of a rhino, with lave-red eyes and fangs like daggers.

I faintly heard a shout from Chiron and Clarisse of "Run Shado!"

Dumbly I stood still and was promptly pounced on. Lucky I had enough thought to hold my spear in its jaws, keeping it from devouring my face.

I heard the twang of several bows and the thudding of arrows. The beast got off of me and backed up. I stood up quickly. I went for my spear but found it snapped in half. Clarisse tossed me her electric spear. I caught it and, just in time, stabbed it through the roof of the beast's mouth as it pounced. It soon crumbled to golden dust.

Ethan came running up to me. "Shado, are you okay?!" Ethan was on the verge of tears. "Of course, buddy. I'll always be here to protect you." I spoke in a soothing voice.

Suddenly there were gasps of surprise.

There was a soft green glow surrounding Ethan and me.

Above Ethan's head was a three-tipped spear: the trident.

And above mine was a trident, but behind it to the right was a scythe with a watch next to it, and behind the trident to the left were multiple symbols. A lightning bolt(Zeus); a peacock(Hera); a hammer striking metal(Hephaestus); a sun(Apollo); a skull(Hades); a grapevine(Dionysis); a helmet(Athena); a spear(Ares); a dove(Aphrodite); a leaf(Demeter); an envelope(Hermes); and then finally behind both sides was a star surrounded by even more stars.

Chiron looked on in shock, "Di Immortales! Hail, Perseus "Shado" Jackson, Son of Poseidon God of the seas, Earthshaker, father of horses. Grandson of Kronos, Titan of Time, agriculture, and keeper of the ages. Descendent of the Olympian council excluding Artemis. Great-great grandson of Chaos, creator of the universe.

Hail Ethan, son of Poseidon, god of the Seas, Earthshaker, and father of horses."

All the campers kneeled.

Suddenly I felt heat around the place where my eyes were, on the mask, the space where my eyes were beginning to melt. Soon trails of metal began trailing down the mask and hardening, creating the image of a crying face.

There were even more gasps as I opened my eyes. Unknown to everyone, I could literally and figuratively see through them. I could see all the physical details of their bodies. Still, I could simultaneously see their bone structure, the blood flowing through their bodies. I could see the tiniest details on their bones, through their muscles, and if I strained hard enough, I could see the synapses firing inside their brains.

I was broken out of the fascination of my eyesight as Chiron coughed. I noticed that they were standing there staring at me.

"Hmm? Oh. Why are all of you staring at me? Is there something on my mask?" I asked, confused.

Mr. D suddenly appeared and procured a mirror. To my surprise, the mask was gone entirely; it revealed the most beautiful face that I had ever seen. The eyes were the most fantastic thing. They were mainly sea green in appearance. A star of sky blue(Zeus) mixed into the green, a rim of black(Hades) on the edge of the iris, speckles of dark green(Hera), light brown(Demeter), gold(Apollo), yellow(Hermes), orange(Hephaestus). Red and grey arrows pointed inward toward the iris from the sclera(Athena and Ares). Two rings of color surrounded the iris. One was purple(Dionysis), the other pink(Aphrodite). The pupil that should generally be black was gold, and outside the pink ring was a solid back with dots of white.

I let out a breath as I realized that it was me in the reflection. I was myself. This was who I looked like under the mask.

Soon the excitement of the night dissipated as we began to walk back to our cabins.

Chiron led Ethan and me to the Poseidon cabin. As we climbed the hill and began walking down toward the lake was a one-story cabin, open-walled. Mostly made from grey marble, a glowing trident stood on the top of the door. The scent of a sea breeze entered our noses and put us to rest.

As Ethan walked in, Chiron called out for me to stay. "Shado. Stay for a moment please."

I nodded and walked back to Chiron.

"Shado, I hate having to be the one to tell you this, but your Mom, Sally, was murdered by your step-father Gabe Ugliano. It turns out that Gabe was then killed trying to get smuggled over to Europe on a cargo ship. I just wanted to let you know."

His words hit me like a freight train, and I staggered back.

"Th-thanks for letting me know Chiron." I stuttered before walking into my father's cabin.

Ethan and I soon fell asleep to the sound of crashing waves.

Dreamscape

Hundreds of images began to flood my mind. I experienced all the memories that were all locked away. I remembered being a professor at Hogwarts, being an assassin in the early 16th century, being an advisor to the leader of an Egyptian sect, and hundreds of other things. My favorite of the memories was locking away Hercules into the void.

I soon appeared in the dream.

I stood on the hill to Montauk beach. Once again, the wind, rain, and waves fought violently. Two men fought hard, with a raven encouraging the fighting. One was dressed in blue robes and the other green. Each had unruly beards; they wrestled, grappled, punched, kicked, and head-butted each other. Each time they struck each other, lightning would strike, the sky grew darker, and thunder and wind wrecked across the sky.

I watched it go on for a moment before yelling out, "STOP! All three of you are gods. So stop fighting and act like it." With that, the animals regarded me for a moment before going back to their fight.

Dreamscape end

I suddenly woke up in a cold sweat.

There was pounding at the door. I moved over and opened it to see Grover standing there panting, drenched in water.

"Mr. D wants to see you."

Grover had gotten his searcher license and was finally able to go out and pursue his dream of finding Pan.

I merely nodded in response; I willed the punk clothing to appear on my body again. I then proceeded to run toward the big house. After a few minutes of running, I made it inside the big house; I sat at the table where Mr. D and Chiron were seated.

"Ah Shado your here." Chiron called out to me.

"Yes, Grover told me that Mr. D wanted to see me." I said.

"Yes, to put simply, Father lost his master bolt."

"It was stolen," Chiron corrected.

"Right stolen by someone, and he suspects your father, Poseidon to have taken it." Mr. D continued.

"Would Poseidon have taken it?" I asked.

"Not necessarily, but we can never be too sure, as Poseidon's style isn't to steal. Although Zues' masterbolt has to be stolen directly by a mortal, as any god can't steal it." Chiron answered.

"So Zeus thinks that either Ethan or I stole it. Despite us not knowing anything of the Greek world existing before we got to camp."

"Yes." That was the simple answer I got.

"Also, even though I have sworn on the Styx that I didn't steal it."

Chiron hesitated for a moment and began to speak. When a piece of paper popped into existence in front of me.

It read: "I don't care if you stole it, just find it."

I read it aloud to Chiron, and he told me to consult the Oracle for a quest.

I climbed the ladder to the attic and came into a very dusty room filled with items that most would consider junk.

In the back of the room sat a mummy. I walked toward it, and it began speaking. "Approach seeker and ask."

"How do I retrieve the bolt?"

Green smoke began to billow out of the mouth of the mummy, and within the smoke, four beings appeared. Ezio, Professor Falcon, the man that stood on the platform next to that king, and the man that stood next to the Egyptian leader.

"You must go west, and face the god who has turned,

you will find what was stolen and see it safely returned,

you will fail to save what matters most in the end,

you shall be betrayed by the one who calls you friend."

Soon I was back in the room with Chiron discussing the details of the prophecy. Mr. D left to go to a council meeting.

"Okay, Shado, who would be the god who has turned?"

"Well what do you mean turned?" I asked in response.

"If Zeus and Poseidon go to war, and cause world war three, who would stand to gain in the abscence?"

"I would assume Ares." I instantly responded.

"Well, thats a good answer, but I would have said Hades. But lets assume it is hades, because no one knows exactly where Ares resides when he isn't on Olympus."

"Okay, so I would assume then that the entrance of the underworld is in the west. If I had to guess, probably in California because that is as far west as you can get in America."

"Okay, the last two lines are a little hazy as they could mean a whole lot of different things. Now all you need to do is choose who you want to bring with you. You can only bring two others."

I instantly spoke, "Ethan and Clarisse."

"I understand, Clarisse, but why Ethan?'

"Because while practice and preparation are reasonable, it won't prepare us for anything in the real world. I want Ethan to be able to protect himself when we aren't here to do so."

Chiron nodded. "Okay, you have two days to prepare. I will have Argus take you into town to start your journey."

Timeskip

Clarisse, Ethan, and I stood on the hill on the half-blood hill, looking back at camp.

I was dressed in my average punk clothing. The only difference was that I wore two rings, a watch, a bracelet, a necklace separate from my sword necklace, and a pen in my right pocket. The rings would turn into a pair of hunting daggers(hunting knives, daggers mixed, a foot-long blade.) The watch turned into a celestial bronze shield with images that correlated to each of the gods. The pen turned into a one-handed celestial bronze sword about three and a half feet long. The bracelet would turn into a spear if I turned it to the left and a trident if I turned it to the right. There was a necklace with a trident on it that, if pulled, would turn into a bow that would never run out of arrows.

Each of the items was enchanted by Hephaestus to return to me if they were ever lost.

We began to walk down the hill when Chiron gave me a pen. I remembered the pen, Anakulumos-riptide. "Give that to Ethan; I don't want him to be defenseless." I nodded and hurried down to the van. I closed the door after me. Sitting in silence, I silently made a backpack filled with extra clothing and money appear at my feet.

Argus dropped us off at the Greyhound station. We sat at a bus stop for what seemed hours. We had begun to play hacky sack to pass the time. We played it for a good half hour before Ethan accidentally kicked into traffic, where it got run over. Fortunately, the bus came and picked us up a moment later.

We were going on for a little while when the bus broke down. We stood outside as the driver messed with the bus. I noticed three old women across the road. They were knitting a woolen sock that couldn't belong to any human. They spoke in unison, "Your journey begins Ancient One."

That sentence chilled my blood to ice.

"How could they know about him, or well me?"

I focused back on the world and noticed the old women were gone. I got back on the bus with Clarisse and Ethan.

Soon the driver got back on the bus, and we were going back on the road.

After about three hours of driving, we picked up three old women. I don't know how, but I could tell they were disguised.

I recognized one as Mrs. Dodds.

I stood up suddenly and walked toward the old women. I sat next to Mrs. Dodds.

"Before you attack me, I want you to know that I know that Hade's helm has been stolen; I don't have it. Tell Hades that I will find it along with the bolt."

Mrs. Dodds nodded and spoke, "Just for appearence sake."

I walked back toward Clarisse and Ethan. I sat back down and spoke calmly, "Be prepared to fight."

Clarisse spoke next, "What happened Shado?"

"All three kindly ones are here."

Clarisse paled a little, and Ethan looked fearful.

"Ethan, it will be okay; I'll protect you." I spoke to him.

I gave him a reassuring glance and prepared myself to fight.

Soon the furies were coming toward us. We soon erupted into battle, and it distracted the driver to the point we rebounded off the wall of a tunnel we were in and crashed into several other cars. We came out of the tunnel and into a field. I stood mid-strike when I started to smell ozone; the hairs on the back of my neck alerted me to incoming danger. I yelled to Ethan and Clarisse, "Get off the bus now."

We had just gotten off the bus when a gigantic lightning strike totaled the bus. We didn't have many options but started walking down the road near us before the authorities came.

It was well after dark, and we were coming up on a building with hundreds of stone statues in front of it. The sign said, "Aunty Em's Garden Emporium."

We knocked on the door. A woman with a veil answered and let us in.

I had my suspicions, and when I had doubts, I was typically suitable. So while Clarisse and Ethan went to a table, I spoke to the woman, "You're Medusa aren't you?"

"Yes, how could tell?"

"I had a suspicion, I can remove your curse if you wish me to."

The woman stiffened for a moment but nodded.

"I need you to stare me in the eyes to do so, don't worry, I won't turn to stone."

The woman removed her veil and revealed multiple snakes on her head that acted as hair.

I pulled the bandana off my eyes and maintained eye contact with her. After a few moments and the snakes fell to the floor.

The woman remained a beautiful person who could have easily matched Aphrodite.

I created a clone of myself and spoke, "Try to turn the clone to stone. I want to make sure that you still have your ability."

She stared at the clone for a moment, and it turned to stone.

I nodded to her and joined Clarisse and Ethan at the table. We ate some burgers and fries and spent the night in the building.

Morning

We continued on toward wherever we needed to go. After hours of slow, uneventful walking, we found train tracks that eventually led to a train station. We got on the train and rode it out until we got to St, Louis where the train had to refuel.

While the train was refueling, we decided to go see the arch.

It was excellent, the architecture was fantastic, the history museum was awesome. We got to go up the elevators to it.

When we got up on the viewing deck, a small family, an old woman with a dog and a park ranger.

The family had a little boy with them; he noticed the dog and exclaimed it.

Soon the dog started yapping at me. The old woman sneered at me and said, "Well, Son, if you insist."

"Did you just call your dog, son?"

"Hmm? oh, yes. It's the Chimera, dear."

Instantly my breath turned shallow. The dog's barks got louder and louder, its size changed. It went from a small dog to a Doberman, to a lion, then tall enough that its back touched the ceiling. The family rushed into the elevator, same with the ranger. I nodded to Clarisse and Ethan to go.

Right before the doors closed, I heard Clarisse say, "Jackson! You better not die."

I smiled and turned back to the Chimera.

I pulled on my necklace and quickly fired seven arrows at it. Each penetrated the skin of the monster but only seemed to agitate it.

I put the bow away and activated my shield and trident.

I held the shield in my left hand and the trident in my right. I charged at the beast and rolled under the spray of fire. The floor where I stood had melted completely. I was now underneath the beast's stomach. I stabbed my trident into its stomach multiple times before aiming higher toward its ribcage. As the trident entered its skin, the beast crumbled to dust. I put away the trident and raised my shield just in time to block the woman's attack. Her appearance had changed, from an old woman to a horrible monster. She was Echnida.

Her clawed hands rose to strike me once more; I blocked the strikes and drew my sword, katastrofikós(Catastrophic). I swung at the unsuspecting monster, who dodged at the last moment and pushed me out of the arch and into the air.

I free fell for a moment. I unfurled my wings and propelled myself into the water below.

I was under the water for a second getting past the initial shock of hitting the water.

I quickly left the water to return to my friends. The sword and shield are back in their spots. We left the area soon, returning to the train. We then started moving toward the last stop on the train, Denver.
