This story is an alternative vision for the Star Wars universe. It opens shortly after the Emperor and Lord Vader's death and the destruction of Piett's SSD flagship at the Battle of Endor aboard the ISD Mk II Ascension. It is the story of how one Imperial Captain and those around him chose to fight their allotted Fate by declaring a Holy War on Destiny itself.
