Hello, UltimateDemonBeast65 back with the next chapter of Infernal Ages! Thank you to the people who liked and followed the story, and without further ado enjoy the chapter!
Within the household of the Helltaker, three female demons still remained. Malina the Sour Demon, who was in the living room, currently playing one of her turn-based strategy games while downing shots of vodka and loosening her shirt and vest as time went on.
"Almost there….almost done! I've almost taken out all of you fuckers, just four more moves, and you're history!" Malina exclaimed with a mix of excitement and arousal.
"I still don't understand how she gets turned on by playing…", Modeus thought as she heard Malina play her game, "Even so, I kind of want to try it out for myself."
"Seems like she's having a great time.", Pandemonica mumbled as she looked up from the piles of paperwork she was given for the day, then she looked back down to continue her work.
Malina was on the verge of winning the round in the game to the point where she now had her bra exposed and was ready to make the final move.
"That's it…one last move….eh…heheheheheh…" Malina mumbled in a euphoric tone before the sound of the door swinging wide open could be heard, startling the Sour Demon and causing her to make the wrong move. "What, wait no, no, no, NO!"
Both Pandemonica and Modeus paid no mind to Malina's rage as they turned towards the door to see Helltaker and the girls that went with him. Though, the two of them were confused when a man that appeared to be homeless entered the house with the group that went out earlier. Pandemonica took more notice of how each of their clothes looked roughed up with some rips and tears, as if all of them had got in a fight.
"Who or what did that to you guys?", she asked with a hint of concern, walking up towards Helltaker to examine the damage further.
"One of these bastards.", the man who looked homeless, in truth the angel Samael, said as he threw the High Goblin to the ground.
"I see...", Pandemonica said as she looked down at the goblin.
"There were other Fae creatures as well, gnomes and golems to be specific.", Justice added, "Luckily we managed to fight them off, including the one that was as big as a skyscraper!"
"A skyscraper? What, like some Kaiju shit?", Malina asked as she grasped her forehead from how intoxicated she was.
"You'd have to see it to believe it.", the Helltaker replied. "And can you not just plunk someone on my floor like that?!"
"You prefer that I throw him on the couch?", Samael retorted.
"Enough bickering, we should get cleaned up, then interrogate the High Goblin.", Lucifer stated.
"And…who is he then?", Modeus asked as she pointed to Samael, in which Pandemonica was also curious and looked at the hobo, "He feels…different from the rest of you guys."
"He's an angel like me.", Azazel replied with a grin.
"Not like you, Grigori." Samael said. "I was the High Accuser."
"T-T-The Accuser? Poison of God? This hobo is him?!" Malina exclaimed, still drunk from her shots of vodka.
Pandemonica and Modeus were just as surprised at the revelation, with their eyes widening, and even took a couple of steps back away from the Accuser.
"Relax you guys, he's cool with us.", Justice chuckled.
"Apparently.", Zdrada said while rolling her eyes and lighting a cigarette by snapping her fingers, starting to smoke once more and walking to the window she normally smokes at.
"I'll get the bath and showers going." The Helltaker said as he headed to the bathroom. "Come in the bathroom to get washed up."
"Good idea." Lucifer said as she quickly pulled off her blazer, slacks and shirt while entering the bathroom.
"I'll go clean myself as well. Is it alright if you guys try and get some answers out of the goblin here?", Justice asked the others as she looked down at the High Goblin.
"When he wakes up, we will.", Samael replied.
"Alrighty.", Justice said with a nod before going upstairs to clean herself up as well.
Cerberus also went to go and wash her bodies off, while Judgement just sighed in frustration before she simply washed or wiped out the dirt and grime from her body. Modeus was curious about the goblin and went up to get a closer look at it.
"I was told about the Fae, but I didn't think they actually existed.", Modeus said, while tilting her head in curiosity as she kept looking at the High Goblin.
"Why did you think that?" Samael asked.
Modeus just turned to Samael and responded with a shrug, to which the fallen angel sighed and sat down feeling exhausted, something that actually surprised him as he hadn't felt fatigue in centuries.
"I'm tired…?" Samael said to himself. "Did I really use that much strength?"
"Those guys were tough as shit.", Zdrada said out loud as she blew a cloud of smoke outside, before turning back inside, "But what I want to know is what were the Fae even doing here in the first place?"
"Another one of their attempts at instigating a war with humanity." Judgement replied after she finished cleaning herself off.
"How long has this been going on exactly?", Zdrada asked, "I don't recall ever hearing or seeing any Fae attack on Earth."
"The Fae have raged war with humanity for as long as they set foot on the Earth, going on for several millennia.", Pandemonica replied, "But to the entire globe, the Fae were still nothing but a fairy tale, even to this day."
"Heaven wanted to keep it that way, believing that humanity was not ready for a war against the Fae as well as what cataclysmic effects it would have on the Earth." Azazel said.
"So they covered it up? Rather than let mankind know the Fae are real and a threat, Heaven chose to intervene and hide the truth." Samael said, glaring at Azazel.
"Regardless, we need to deal with them as soon as possible.", Justice said, coming down the stairs after getting herself cleaned and dressed up.
"Indeed, let's not waste any more time and wake up the goblin here.", Pandemonica stated.
Judgement nodded and lifted the High Goblin off the ground and put him in a chair before wrapping chains around their body and the chair for extra reinforcement. Lucifer, Cerberus and the Helltaker soon got out of the bathroom and got dressed before entering the lounge room downstairs.
"Is everyone here?" Samael asked.
"I think we are all accounted for.", Pandemonica replied after counting heads.
"Good, Justice, wake the High Goblin." Lucifer said as she finished tying her hair up.
The Awesome Demon gave a nod to Lucifer before turning back to the goblin and smacked him across the face, which then woke up the High Goblin. As he opened his eyes and looked at his surroundings, he screamed and tried to flail his arms in both a panic and in trying to shoot magic at his foes, but then looked down to see that his arms and body were chained down to a chair.
"At last, you're awake." Lucifer said, sitting in front of the goblin mage.
"The Devil herself?!", the High Goblin exclaimed, jolting backwards in the chair trying to move himself away from Lucifer even though he knows he's tied down, "What are you going to do to me?!"
"Don't fret, I'm not going to kill you, yet…" Lucifer said. "All I want is information. Who authorized the attack, and why this city in particular? What's so special about this part of the country?"
"...a-alright…we attacked this area because, w-well it had a high population density, so that would make news about us spread faster and much more likely.", the High Goblin answered, "A-as for who authorized this, it was just one of the High Generals…
"Which one?" Lucifer asked.
"It was High Goblin General Vekter…", the goblin replied with a sigh of fear and frustration.
"Is Vekter here? In Vice City?!" Samael exclaimed.
Before the High Goblin could answer, his body started to glow a bright green. He was confused at first, but then he looked down at himself to notice that he was the source of the green glow. He also noticed this painful sensation running through his veins. The demon girls were also surprised and confused at the sudden glow that was coming from the goblin, with some of them already backing away.
"W-what's happening?!", the High Goblin exclaimed in fear.
"Get behind me!" Lucifer yelled as she created a barrier in front of herself.
"Wait what?! If that guy is exploding, then just throw him out of the house! I am not spending any more of my life savings on repairs!" The Helltaker yelled with a mix of fear and anger.
"Fine! Judgement, Justice, grab the High Goblin and throw him into the stratosphere!" Lucifer ordered.
"You got it!", Justice responded as she then quickly ran towards the High Goblin and grabbed him by his cloak, dragging him through the back door along with the chair.
Judgement followed Justice and once they were outside she lifted the High Goblin up by his chair and looked at the Awesome Demon for confirmation. Justice then gave the High Prosecutor a nod as soon she felt that Judgement was outside with her. Judgement began to emanate a white aura while Justice emanated a red one as they held on tight to the High Goblin and the chair before reeling their arms back to channel all their arm strength into this throw. The screams from the High Goblin could still be heard as he was thrown far into the air, with the green glow being brighter before an explosion could be seen and heard by the whole neighbourhood, even the others inside were able to witness it.
"Holy shit!", Everyone excluding Lucifer, Judgement, Azazel and Pandemonica yelled collectively.
"That would have taken out the entire block!" The Helltaker exclaimed in horror.
"Well, it's a good thing that it didn't!", Justice said in relief.
"Self-destruction spell. No doubt placed on him to prevent us from learning the High Generals' locations." Lucifer explained. "My barrier would have been enough to block it, but I suppose we can't afford to lose an entire street."
"It certainly was a better decision to throw him as far as possible.", Pandemonica stated.
"But now what? I don't think we can get more information other than what he gave us.", Zdrada said.
"We have enough for now.", Lucifer said before adjusting her hair.
"Alright, I have been patient, more patient than usual. I get that we fought gnomes, goblins and golems, and you called them the Fae? Do you mean Fair Folk? Like fairies, pixies, sprites?", The Helltaker asked, with a bit of frustration.
"The Fae are a menagerie of beings from the island of Avalon.", Azazel replied as she started to take notes. "As you said, these species include fairies, gnomes and goblins and other creatures."
"Avalon from the stories of King Arthur? That's a real place?", The Helltaker asked.
"It is the homeland of the Fae and where Arthur Pendragon was put to rest after falling in battle to his son Mordred.", Lucifer explained.
"Why were they okay with King Arthur being buried there if they hate humanity so much?", Zdrada asked.
"Not all the Fae approved of it, but King Arthur was acknowledged as being one of the greatest kings to ever live and had he lived, could have been the man to even broker peace with Avalon." Lucifer replied. "But as we all know, there has never been a man like King Arthur since."
"The Fae also have their own court, with its most powerful and ancient members ruling over Avalon, but the king still makes the final decision. King Oberon to be more specific.", Pandemonica added, "The goblin that we captured before he exploded, was part of the High Fae, nobles and descendants of the original Fae."
"High Fae? So like purebloods?" The Helltaker asked.
"The noble class of Fae." Judgement replied. "The island of Avalon possesses a caste system, with the High Fae being just below Fae royalty."
"They have plenty of different groups within the noble class, such as the Generals, Forgers, Ministers, etcetera. From his clothing, I'd say that the one you captured was the High Goblin Mage.", Pandemonica said, "Seems like another will have to take his place. But going down the chain quickly, there is the Grand Army, the Lav Fae, who are the average and lower classes. And finally, the Changelings.
"Changelings? You mean like shapeshifters?" The Helltaker asked curiously.
"They're the offspring of Fae born with the power to change their appearance at will." Azazel said. "They are used as infiltrators, with most of them being used to replace human infants."
"You mean the Fae steal babies and replace them with their own?!" The Helltaker exclaimed, horrified by this information.
"And have the Changeling live out the life they stole from that baby, while the real thing is killed or eaten…" Judgement said with a hint of disgust in her voice, with most of the other girls also expressing their disgust with what the Changelings do.
"Fucking bastards…", Zdrada grumbled while gritting her teeth.
"I know they hate humans, but doing that to a baby?" Samael said shocked.
"That's all sorts of messed up.", Justice mumbled.
"Well, what do you expect? They're not the whimsical and enchanted creatures you read about in storybooks." Lucifer said. "They can and will kill humans."
"With one of their High Mages gone, do you think that their attacks will become more frequent? Or would they start attacking more on Earth as we speak?", Pandemonica asked the Queen of Hell.
"I wouldn't be surprised if this act alone was seen as a declaration of war between Avalon and Hell."
"So what's the plan then?", Justice asked.
"It would be best to gather the Stygian Council to alert Hell of the possibility of war..." Lucifer said, surprising all the demons within the room.
"Surely you jest, Serpent. You wish to invoke the Council simply because of a possibility?" Judgement asked sceptically.
"I feel as though we should alert them to at least be prepared to go to war with the Fae.", Pandemonica stated, "Though it was the right thing to do in stopping their attacks on humans, we're now involved, and they consider us enemies."
"Agreed." Samael said. "Hell is now involved whether we like it or not, especially by having the Hell Knights appear."
"Do we really have to?", Zdrada asked with an eye roll, "We seem to be doing fine on our own already."
"We don't have the time or energy to show up at every single attack that the Fae start on Earth. The Hell Knights would help us in that regard, while we can go to Avalon ourselves.", Pandemonica said, pushing up her glasses but then suddenly a small grin appeared on her face as she turned to the Bitch Demon, "And besides, you better behave while in their presence, or else."
"Dammit…fine. No promises though.", Zdrada groaned while having a slight blush spread across her face and turned away from Pandemonica.
Lucifer summons the same phone she used to call the Hell Knights and dials a number. The phone rings for a while, but then eventually someone picks up on the other end.
Within Hell's capital city of Pandemonium, there was a large tower, a skyscraper that had cables and satellite dishes that reached across Hell and the entire city, the tower having in large letters "Inferno Media" on top of it, the name of Hell's most powerful media network and company tasked with filtering and sharing information across the realm, all controlled and monitored by Lucifer's secretary and the CEO of Inferno Media, Berith. She appeared to be a demon with pale skin, red eyes, white hair and a black pointed tail like most of her species, but unlike most demons, she had white curved horns, displaying her status as an ancient demon. Her hair was done in a ponytail that reached all the way down her back, and had worn thin, rectangular glasses with lenses that were tinted black and had small red patterns on the black frame. For the rest of her attire, she wore a red undershirt with a black tie, a black pencil skirt that was an inch above her knees, an open black blazer, and black high heel boots with red highlights that reached her ankles. Berith was looking over paperwork, both concerning her company and the Stygian Council, when she heard her phone starting to ring. She glanced down at it and saw who was calling her before picking up.
"Your Majesty!", she greeted happily over the phone, "How can I be of service to you today? If there is anything you need, just say the word, and I'll get right on it! And I do mean anything, Your Majesty!"
"I want the Stygian Council to be summoned to the Great Hall for a summit, Berith." Lucifer explained. "Contact the Hell Knight Generals and issue a summon to all Council members."
"Heh, Hell Knights…s-sorry, Your Majesty! Yes, I will contact them along with the Council members right away!", Berith said nervously, even subconsciously bowing as if Lucifer was right in front of her, nearly hitting her head on the desk, "Any additional information they should know beforehand or should it all be saved for the meeting?"
"All will be explained at the Great Hall, just do what I have told you." Lucifer ordered.
"O-of course, Your Majesty! Right away! Pleasure to serve you once more! Okay, bye!", Berith said before hanging up the phone and sighed with a smile on her face, content that she directly spoke to the Queen of Hell after her departure to go to Earth. She then went on her computer to contact the Hell Knight Generals to hold a virtual meeting. After a few seconds, Berith could see the fifteen generals all together around the pentagram-shaped table through their camera. She couldn't help but look at them with a smug grin on her face while trying to contain a chuckle.
"Berith.", Chariot said, addressing the CEO of Inferno Media.
"Generals.", Berith said back in a condescending tone, "You may not know this, but be thankful that I'm here to quickly tell you that Our Majesty requests a summit. At the Great Hall, of course. Better move it along now!", saying that last part while waving her hand, gesturing for them to get going.
"And why exactly is Her Majesty wishing to have the Stygian Council gather?", one of the Generals asked, both annoyed by Berith's mannerism and confused by this sudden news.
"Oh, General. You forget your place, but if you really want me to answer your question that badly, that information is on a need-to-know basis.", Berith replied with a scoff and a shrug, "Only answer I can provide after asking Our Majesty. Maybe if you Hell Knights were only more important like me. Oh well."
"Just because you control what the people of Hell are allowed to know or not know, doesn't mean you're any better than us, Berith.", a female General said with a cold glare.
"But it does! It most certainly does, General Lysia!", Berith said while chuckling, "You may not know it, but it's really hard on choosing what to keep to myself and what only needs to be said. One slip-up from me and it could be disastrous for the entire realm. And I've been doing an outstanding job for centuries! All you really have to do is maintain order and discipline your troops, but even so, you and all of your little soldiers are hardly needed. Therefore, I am better than you."
At this point, Berith's words were starting to get on the Hell Knight Generals' nerves. She had always been this condescending towards those beneath her, but especially towards the Hell Knight Generals, as they were only a step below her. And they could hardly stand it, even though they hardly interacted with Berith for decades. All except for Chariot, who remained silent and stoic during the entire conversation, but he finally decided to speak up as there were more important matters at hand.
"We will make our way to the Great Hall, Berith. We appreciate you informing us about Our Majesty's request.", he said, catching the other generals off-guard.
"That's right.", Berith said with her grin turning into a wide smile, "Take notes from General Chariot on how to speak and address me properly, you could learn something. Now, please hang up, I have more people I need to inform."
"Sure thing…", another male General said begrudgingly before he hung up the virtual call, "I really fucking hate her…"
"So do I, but she is Her Majesty's secretary…" Lysia said, clenching her fist in frustration. "But even so, we do all the heavy lifting while she just sits on her ass telling other people what to do!"
"If you wish to continue discussing this matter, then do so on your own time after we attend the summit.", Chariot stated to everyone in the room before standing up and creating a portal to the Great Hall, "It could be relating to the Fae that rampaged Earth not too long ago."
"Right…", the other male general sighed while scratching his head before also heading towards the portal.
Currently, inside of Hell Knight Headquarters, many of its fine soldiers and operatives were currently in the cafeteria having their lunch, seemingly unaware of where their generals have gone. Though, what can those inside of the cafeteria really say? The food in there was to die for, and the place might as well be turned into a 5-star restaurant. Members of Jubokko Company walked in the room to smell the mouth-watering aroma that filled the air.
"Ahhhhh! I love this place!", Brandish remarked, "Only room I can say that's just as good as the firing range!"
"Yeah, yeah. Let's just find a place to sit down and get our food.", Apoy said, as they all lined up and each got a tray for their food.
The Jubokko Company lined up with their trays, waiting to be served by the one and only Nisroch, the cafeteria's chef known by Hell as the Master of Cuisine who once served the Triumvirate of Hell during its early days. He had red eyes, white hair tied back into a bun as well as a beard that reached down to his collarbone and white short horns showing his ancient status. Nisroch wore a red undershirt, black slacks with black dress shoes and a black apron with the word "Satan" on it, as well as wearing black rubber gloves and a chef's hat. In the small window to where he was serving food, white spectral clones of him were seen also cooking food other than some of the normal chefs that were there.
"Ah, Jubokko Company! Come to taste my masterpieces once again, have you?" Nisroch said in a boastful tone.
"Oh, but what other reason would we be here, Nisroch?", Chax asked humorously, "The food you make is always the best within the realm!"
"My dear Chax, you are always so complimentary when it comes to my work!" Nisroch said with a chuckle.
"But of course.", Chax said, giving him a wink, "What else can I really say, Nisroch?"
"Wow, are you trying to play with your own food here, Chax?", Brandish remarked.
"Oh hush, you.", Chax said turning to Brandish but then turned back to the chef, "But as for what I'll actually be eating, you can surprise me with whatever dish you have."
"I'll have the usual.", Zepar said, giving Nisroch a nod.
"But of course, Zepar my friend.", Nisroch said with a smile before looking at Apoy and Siga. "And what about you, young ones?"
"Don't call us, "young ones", old man.", both twins retorted in amusement, but then Siga spoke up for their order, "As for what we want to eat, we will have lamb ribs and mashed potatoes, please."
"Coming right up! Oh, by the way, have you two been practising the recipe I gave you?", Nisroch asked.
"Yes, we have!", both of the twins replied, but this time Apoy spoke up for the both of them, "We asked a number of people to try what we made, and they liked it, including our parents!"
"Glad to hear it, youngsters!", Nisroch said with a smile.
"And I'll have your gourmet burger, Nisroch.", Brandish said.
"You got it!", Nisroch said.
As the Jubokko Company waited for their food, they were thinking about what they had learned during their interview with the captured goblins and gnomes from the attack they laid waste to on Vice City not too long ago.
About a couple of hours ago, after the attack on Vice City, the goblins and gnomes were taken to an interrogation room within the Hell Knight Headquarters to be questioned about their attack by knights of the Jubokko Company. Brandish was the first one sent to interrogate one of the gnomes, while General Chariot and the rest of the squadron were watching through the one-sided window. The gnome within the interrogation room had brown hair that was starting to grey, green eyes and had a blue hat and a suit covered in stone armour pieces with runes engraved on them. Brandish inhaled as he sat down and looked at the gnome across the table, before finally deciding to speak after a couple of seconds.
"Alright, listen, there's no reason to make this more difficult than it needs to be. So you better answer these questions, understand?", Brandish asked the gnome.
"Like I'll tell you anything, demon scum.", The gnome said spitefully.
"Well, you've gotta tell us something one way or another.", Brandish said, "I'll start asking questions now and if you don't answer, I'm going to…bring out some tools, so let's not reach that destination. But let's move on, we know the Fae's hatred towards humanity and that you've been attacking them throughout the years, are there any more attacks planned for today?"
"Are you going to stop them, demon? That's not like Hell to save humans." The Gnome remarked.
"No, it's certainly not. But we don't take away their lives as they're on Earth willy-nilly, either.", Brandish replied as he crossed his arms, "To answer your question, that depends on what your superiors on Avalon do first. But now it's your turn to answer."
"I won't break." The gnome said sternly.
"Damn, so I guess you really want to do this the hard way.", Brandish sighed as he glanced at the one-way window, waiting for a response from Chariot.
"Not yet, I think it's still possible to get answers out without torturing him.", Chariot responded through Brandish's earpiece, then gave a nod towards Chax, to which she walked out of the viewing room and walked inside the interrogation room.
"Hello there~", Chax said with a grin as she placed both hands on the table, leaning slightly forwards to where her breasts were hanging in view of the gnome, "It seems as though you're not answering our questions and I don't want to see a handsome fellow like yourself to have your fingers cut off by Brandish here."
The gnome's eyes widened, and his face turned red, caught off guard by this.
"Uh…. I…." The gnome stumbled with his words.
Chax's smile had got wider as soon as she saw that the gnome became flustered. Being the most attractive female of Jubokko Company, she was most often used to seduce male suspects during interrogations. It was rather effective compared to other interrogators that either yelled or tortured the suspect. And at this point, the Hell Knights in both rooms knew that the gnome would start talking. Chax then placed a hand on her hip and leaned more to one side before she continued to speak.
"I know it's not easy to trust us demons, but we're more civilized than you think we are. Just please give us satisfactory answers to our questions. You wouldn't want to make things hard for a girl like me, would you?"
"Well… I uh….uh….well sure thing, little lady~" The gnome said, as it looked as if his eyes turned into love hearts.
"Every time…", Siga, who was on the other side, sighed with a hint of jealousy as she looked down at herself, while the rest of Jubokko Company weren't as bothered.
"Good boy~", Chax giggled as she then rubbed the gnome's cheek with one hand before standing back up normally, turning to Brandish, who was trying his hardest to not blush in front of the gnome, "You may continue."
"Of course…", Brandish said, clearing his throat, "So, any more planned attacks in the upcoming days or even hours, or no?"
"Two more attacks, one in Manhattan and one in Tokyo.", the gnome replied, then realised what had done.
"I can inform the other generals as well as Her Majesty about the upcoming attacks.", Chariot informed Brandish and Chax through the earpiece, with Brandish giving a nod.
"Alright, next question, is there a new weapon you plan on using or developing as well?", Brandish asked.
"That's classified.", the gnome replied before regaining his composure.
"Are you sure that's your final answer?", Chax asked, raising an eyebrow and slightly tilted her head.
"Uh….we just developed new golems…", the gnome replied. "As tall as a skyscraper and enhanced by Elven runes."
"We might press one of the others about that later, let's ask him something else.", Chariot stated to Brandish.
"Alright, we'll let you slide with that answer for now.", Brandish said, "Going back to the two attacks you have told us about, which Fae are going to be deployed?"
"I was only briefed on the attack on Vice City.", the gnome replied. "That's the truth. I swear."
"We should've asked him about his rank first, as perhaps some information is really not known to him.", Chariot stated, "Even so, we aren't sure if the number of responsibilities and clearance levels are the exact same as ours or militaries on Earth, so try and assert yourself anyway."
"Are you sure that's all you know? What's your rank among the Grand Army?", Brandish asked irritatingly, as if the answer the gnome gave him wasn't enough.
"I'm only a Corporal!", the gnome exclaimed.
"And as a Corporal within the Grand Army, that was the only bit of information that you were given?", Brandish continued as he squinted his eyes.
"Yes.", the gnome replied.
"So of those that we captured, who would know more about what's happening on Avalon?", Chax asked, deciding to chime in.
"A Captain or Commander…", the gnome replied, blushing at Chax's sultry tone.
"Do they have a name?", Chax added, leaning to the side where her hand was on her hip.
The gnome's face was red as he struggled to not get too excited, though there was already blood coming out of his nose.
"Come on, don't be shy.", Chax said with a giggle, "Just tell us if you know who they are."
"It…it…it…they're a goblin…", the gnome said before he finally gave in and tried reaching for Chax's rack.
"I can do you one better. You deserve it after all.", Chax said as she then grabbed the gnome over the table and placed his head in between her breasts. The gnome in turn let out a cackle as his nose bled more and was knocked unconscious from excitement.
This wasn't the first time someone had tried to touch Chax whenever she took part in the interrogation, though the twins and Zepar couldn't help but facepalm and or sigh every time it did happen. Chariot, Brandish, and even Chax herself weren't that concerned, as it wasn't the first time Chax had fully used her assets on a suspect. But the both of them were prepared if the suspect was trying to attack either of them instead.
"Well that at least narrows it down.", Chariot said and looked at the twins, "Go and find the highest ranking goblin in the holding room. Chax, that's enough."
"Okay okay.", Chax giggled as she then carried the gnome out of the room in her arms to take him back to the captured Fae, with Apoy and Siga following her shortly afterwards.
"So Chariot, you think that there's a chance that the Fae will retaliate as a result from what happened up there?", Brandish asked while they were waiting for the three Hell Knights that left to come back.
Like many of the Hell Knights, he felt rather bored in doing their usual activities in stopping their illegal sugar dealers, petty thieves, and constantly guarding the nobles and VIPs that look down on them everywhere. Of course, they were grateful and would uphold their duties no matter what, they yearned to experience what war felt like again.
"I would think that they are planning something as we speak.", Chariot replied, "We can't be too sure, but it's better to be prepared just as much as they are preparing for us."
"Right.", Brandish said with a nod, eventually seeing that Chax and the twins have returned with a goblin they have got from the holding cell, who was restrained by magic handcuffs. The twins then left the interrogation room, while Chax stayed with Brandish and made the goblin sit in the chair on the other side of the table.
"So, you're the one that seems to know more about what's going on at Avalon.", Brandish stated, "What's your rank?"
"Piss off." The goblin said uncooperatively.
"Oh come on.", Chax said with a fake sigh and leaned closer towards the goblin, trying to use seduction once more, "Make this easier, not only for us…but for yourself as well."
"Like I'd be interested in a filthy demon like yourself!" The goblin exclaimed.
"Well, excuse me, I'll have you know that I am one of the most beautiful of my kind.", Chax remarked, "Surely you can't say the same for yourself."
The goblin huffed and crossed his arms in defiance.
"You know, we let the gnome off easily.", Brandish stated assertively as he placed both hands folded together on the table, "And he told us quite a bit about what's been going on in Avalon already, but now you need to complete the puzzle for us. I can think of many ways on what to do with you in order to get that information. Our patience is running thin, so you better decide on how you want this session to go."
"Try me." The goblin said defiantly.
"If you say so.", Brandish said before standing up and quickly grabbing one of the goblin's wrists, dragging it over to his side of the table and grabbing a knife from the inside of his trench coat. Stabbing it down hard onto the goblin's hand, with blood starting to pour out.
The goblin screamed out in pain, cursing in his native tongue.
"You think that this is too much pain for you to handle?", Brandish asked as he continued to put pressure down on the knife, "If so, then go ahead and answer our questions. What other weapons and technology are you developing?"
"Runes!" The goblin exclaimed painfully.
"That's enough, Brandish.", Chariot said, to which Brandish lifted the knife out of the goblin's hand.
"What kind of runes?", Brandish asked as he wiped the blood off of the blade, "And what are you going to use it on?"
"Weapons, what do you think?!" The goblin yelled.
"Not anything for your golems?", Brandish asked.
"Ask the fucking gnomes! They know more about them than I do!" The goblin retorted.
"We'll get to them later. But we're going to continue on what you know.", Brandish stated, "So how many of these weapons do you have? And what other equipment if you don't know anything about the golems?"
"Forget it, I said enough!" The goblin retorted.
"Chax, hold him still.", Brandish said, to which Chax nodded and got the goblin's other hand, placing it on the table. He then stabbed the goblin's hand once again, making them scream in pain, but then immediately got out another one and drove it right next to the first knife.
"Fuck you!" The goblin screamed.
"You want to be stabbed more?!", Brandish exclaimed, "Just fucking tell us what we need to know!"
"Enough to arm an entire nation!" The goblin exclaimed. "Enough to wipe those apes off the face of the planet!"
"What other information on these weapons do you have?", Brandish asked as he still held the other knife, "Anything about armour as well? If you tell us, then I will take this knife out!"
"Swords, knives, shields, bows, arrows, runes adorned on some while others are enchanted!" The goblin hissed, with Brandish pulling out the knife after he gave his response.
"Brandish. Chax.", Chariot said, to which the both of them turned towards the glass, "Zepar will go and get the other high ranking gnomes and goblins. We are going to interrogate the rest of them all at once."
"Understood.", they both said before looking back at the goblin, with Chax speaking up afterwards while taking the other knife out of the goblin's hand, "You're going with one of our other comrades to the holding cell. You are to point out the other high ranking goblins and gnomes within that cell, understood?"
The goblin then nodded hesitantly before he was taken away by Zepar and another Hell Knight to the cells where the Fae's allies were being held. The Crimson Vanguard glared at the goblin as if to tell him to show them which of his allies were his superiors, to which the goblin then started to point them out. The interrogation then continued on for about an hour with the rest of the high ranking gnomes and goblins that were taken back, and from there the six Hell Knights of Jubokko Company had learned more about what technology the Fae were developing on Avalon. Along with being recorded on camera, Chariot was taking notes to report what answers he was given to the other generals.
"Berith has been informed, the Stygian Council will be summoned." Lucifer said.
"Stygian Council?" The Helltaker asked.
"The governing body of Hell." Judgement stated.
"Essentially, but a small history of the Stygian Council, was that it was Lucifer that had established it along with the other fallen angels and the demons of the ruling class.", Pandemonica further explained, "Each season they all gather for a summit to discuss what has happened within the realm at the Great Hall of Pandemonium, and Lucifer herself is the one that makes the final decision."
"So it's not entirely autocratic.", the Helltaker said.
"I still have the final verdict on what happens, and I choose to completely deny what everyone else has agreed to!", Lucifer said with an egotistical glare.
"It was a council formed by the first of us, not just you Serpent, remember that we as a group built Hell into what it is today!", Judgement yelled angrily.
"Yeah, and this is the same Council that doesn't allow people like me, Pandemonica, or even…the Knights to have a voice about what happens in the Council.", Zdrada stated.
"We're not exactly important within the Council.", Malina said.
"But we should still have input regardless, Malinka.", Zdrada countered.
"We can explain demonic politics later, we should leave.", Lucifer said, then looked at Samael, before cringing at his attire and appearance. "On second thought, we really need to get you out of that horrid outfit and clean up that mess you call hair!"
"Yeah man, unless an angel like you wants to always be seen as a dirty hobo.", Zdrada remarked.
"What are you talking about? I look fine.", Samael said.
"I mean, I guess so, …if you think that looking like a heroin dealer is fine.", Zdrada said with a chuckle.
"Damn, she really got you there.", Justice said with slight amusement.
"Not to mention, he looks like he hangs around school playgrounds…", Malina said while texting.
"That's what I said back in the city.", Lucifer remarked.
"So what are we waiting for? Let's get him freshened up!", Modeus said.
"Grab him!", Lucifer ordered.
Justice was the first one to grab him by his arm, while Modeus grabbed his other arm quickly. Cerberus meanwhile held him from behind.
"Hey! Wait a second, can't we talk about this?!", Samael exclaimed.
"Sorry, but this isn't your choice to make.", Pandemonica said as she walked up to him, with her eyes becoming slit and her horns grew longer out of her head, "So sit back and relax…"
Samael's eyes widened, and his pupils dilated in fear before letting out a gulp, and they all pulled him into the bathroom.
"Big sister, help me!", Samael yelled out, sounding like a younger sibling begging to not be punished.
"Have fun, little brother~", Lucifer said with a sinister grin, with Pandemonica shutting the bathroom door after.
Inside the bathroom, the girls threw Samael into the shower, to which the fallen angel looked back at the girls, who all had similar grins to Lucifer.
"I….uh…"
"Come on, it'll be fine, Samael!", Justice insisted, "Just get it over with!"
"Clothes off! Clothes off!" Cerberus chanted.
"Okay, okay fine!" Samael exclaimed as he started running the shower and took his clothes off.
As he washed the grime and dirt off his body, more of it became visible. He was tall and slightly lean, but he was well built, having muscles not as big as the Helltaker's but definitely impressive by human and demon standards. Samael swept his hair back as he washed it, doing his best to really try and get all the filth and dirt off his body.
"You were never able to find a water source to clean yourself after all this time?", Pandemonica asked.
"Still, though, he's totally stacked…", Modeus said as her face turned red from seeing Samael's body while he was cleaning himself.
Cerberus started panting like a dog while wagging her tails. Samael's face went red as he kept on washing himself until nothing was left but a clean and smooth body, though his hair was overgrown and still had thick stubbles around his face that made a beard. Pandemonica then brought out scissors, a comb, a razor, and a stool for Samael to sit down on.
"Sit.", she simply said, while still having a grin on her face.
Samael would have objected, but knew the look in Pandemonica's eyes, and so he slowly sat down. The Sadistic Demon gave him a sinister chuckle before she started to cut his hair that reached down to his back, while occasionally combing it straight. Samael hadn't groomed himself in decades, not since 1969 had he needed an excuse to clean up and look nicely. The fallen angel flinched a few times from Pandemonica's hairdressing skills, then suddenly felt a pair of smooth hands move up his body with a soft giggle coming from the right side of his body.
"Hey there…", Modeus said in a sultry tone as she continued to rub her hands on Samael.
"Uh….hi…" Samael said, blushing as Modeus' hands started to get closer to more "sensitive" areas.
"You sure aren't Taker, but you certainly feel just as good, you hunk.", Modeus said as she pressed her breasts onto him and reached down his body even further.
"Wha-what are you doing?!" Samael exclaimed as his face went red.
"Nothing much other than feeling every inch of you, of course. Just hold still.", Modeus replied with a giggle.
"You should hold still, otherwise I'll mess up your hair.", Pandemonica stated, "Though if either of you moves too much, I'll be glad to break a finger or two…"
"You could try." Samael said, showing the first sign of confidence since being inside the bathroom, though quickly stopped after feeling Pandemonica comb his hair far back, tugging on his hair painfully.
"Oops.", Pandemonica chuckled sadistically, "Must've slipped for a second there."
"Alright, fine, I won't move." Samael said before looking back at Modeus and nearly jumping when she saw where she was.
"Something wrong, handsome?", Modeus asked.
"You're…closer than before…." Samael said nervously before Modeus kissed him on the cheek, making him blush more.
"Are you enjoying it?", she asked.
"I….it's not bad…." Samael replied, averting his gaze.
"Good to hear.", Modeus said, putting her head closer to his.
Samael had a sensation flowing around his body, a feeling he hadn't experienced before that was light-headed and intoxicating.
"What is this…?" Samael thought as he then felt something on him begin to swell up, attracting Modeus' attention.
"Ohhhh~ I see that you have quite a large asset as well. Let's do something with that, shall we?", Modeus stated as she felt his manhood, before going in front of him and started to give Samael a blowjob.
"H-Hey! What are you doing with my penis?!" Samael exclaimed as his face went red.
"What do you think? Giving it a good time, handsome~", Modeus replied with a sultry tone before continuing with the blowjob, swirling her tongue around his penis as she kept sucking.
"A fellatio? This is what that is…?" Samael said, as the feeling of Modeus' lips around his shaft were invigorating.
"There goes Modeus being Modeus." Cerberus said with a giggle.
"Indeed.", Pandemonica said as she continued to cut Samael's hair while Justice stood there with a slight blush on her face.
Samael had not had sexual experience, despite the fact that he had used lust in the past as part of his mission to better teach mankind through temptation and conflict. But he had not engaged in sexual acts himself, and so this was a new sensation for him. Modeus giggled as she continued her act while looking up at Samael, while Pandemonica eventually finished cutting his hair, but then moved on to shave his beard.
Samael flinched a few times, but then started to let out a quiet moan, as Modeus kept on sucking him down.
"Definitely seems like he is enjoying himself.", Justice chuckled.
"Wonder if he's ever done this before…" Cerberus yipped.
"Even though he left Heaven, I don't think that he has fallen into temptations such as this.", Pandemonica stated as she continued to have his beard.
With one hand, Modeus started to take off her blazer, then pulled her sweater down to reveal her cleavage. Samael's eyes widened as he looked upon Modeus' rack.
"Never had the pleasure of seeing a woman's chest, have you, Samael? Especially of that size?", Pandemonica asked as she looked at the side of his face and saw his eyes widen.
"N-N-No…" Samael replied nervously.
"Well, consider yourself lucky for today.", Pandemonica said, with Modeus picking up the pace and starting to suck on Samael's dick faster.
Samael started to moan more, showing more and more every second that he was getting into it. Lust was something he rejected and suppressed for quite some time, and it was finally getting the better of him in this moment. Modeus was showing a bit of foreplay as she started to rub her own body with one hand, starting to rub from her hip then made her way up to her breasts.
"Holy fuck…." Samael uttered out as his penis started to throb.
"I feel like we should add more sweets to the pot, don't you think girls?", Pandemonium asked the others before cleaning off his face as she finished shaving his beard.
"Heh, sure, why not?", Justice remarked as she then took off her coat and opened up her shirt, revealing her muscular yet still feminine build, showing off a six-pack and her inner breasts. She moved to the left side of Samael and started rubbing his upper body, to which the fallen angel became even more aroused and his moans got slightly louder.
Cerberus in turn also circled around Samael, with one of them feeling the right side of him, one started to lick and kiss his face and the last one got down with Modeus and started jerking Samael off. Pandemonica continued to stay behind Samael and also feel his body, with Modeus' face turning completely red and her head started to steam as the entire atmosphere in the bathroom was filled with lust, before continuing to blow him at the fast rate she was going at.
"What is this feeling…this desire….the drive….it's magnificent…." Samael uttered softly.
"Don't act like you don't know what this is…", Pandemonica said into his ear with a light giggle, while Justice grabbed Samael's left hand and placed it on her abs.
"You can touch us all you want, by the way.", Justice stated, giving off a wide smile towards The Accuser, who was surprised by the firm muscles on Justice's torso, before being tempted to move his hand up more.
"I…. I shouldn't…", the fallen angel said.
"Oh, but you could.", Justice countered as she still held his hand up to her abs.
"You are his harem, not mine…", Samael argued.
"It's okay, the big guy doesn't mind at all.", Pandemonica stated, "We're all yours in here…"
"Need I remind you that we have a summit to go to?!", Lucifer shouted outside the bathroom door. "Whatever you're up to, finish it now and get him cleaned up!"
"Right… Modeus, finish up.", Justice said as she buttoned her shirt back up and put her coat on, while Modeus continued to blow Samael, who amped up her suction and speed in an attempt to make him climax.
"I'll find something for him to wear.", Pandemonica said as she stepped out of the bathroom, with Justice following behind her.
Cerberus also left, leaving Modeus with Samael.
"I've been enjoying our time together, you hunk.", Modeus said as she then put both hands around his shaft to jerk him off, "But I think it's about time we finish, don't you?"
"Yeah…sure…", Samael replied with a small nod, to which Modeus then began to give him a deepthroat.
Samael soon started to put his hands on Modeus' head as he felt himself start to get close. Modeus moaned in pleasure as she continued to suck on Samael's manhood, then used one hand to touch his balls and used the other to rub his inner thigh.
"Shit… I'm gonna…cum…", Samael moaned.
"Do it!", Modeus exclaimed before going back to suck Samael quickly.
Samael gritted his teeth as he finally ejaculated inside Modeus' mouth, filling it with warm semen as his eyes glowed a brighter gold from releasing all the tension from his body. Modeus moaned loudly as she felt his fluids enter her mouth before backing away, swallowing his cum and wiped her mouth, looking up at the angel with a lustful grin spread across her face. She then stood up and sat on his lap.
"Did you have fun? Because I know me and the other girls certainly did~", Modeus asked as she placed a hand on Samael's face.
"It….was different…." Samael said blushing, with Modeus giggling at that response before giving him a kiss on the lips, to which Samael in a moment of passion kissed back. The Lustful Demon wrapped her arms around him as she continued to hold the kiss before Pandemonica came back into the room with clothes.
"I think that's enough fun for now, Modeus.", she stated, before Modeus got off of Samael's lap and put her own clothes back on.
Samael stood up and looked at the clothes.
"This is all you have?" He asked.
"Yes, and I'm sure these will be fine at the moment. We're most likely running late anyway.", Pandemonica replied as she then handed the clothes to him.
Samael sighed as he put on the clothes, which consisted of a black blazer, red undershirt, black slacks and shoes. The two demon girls that were still in the bathroom smiled as Samael changed.
"Doesn't look bad on you at all.", Pandemonica stated, with Modeus nodding in agreement before the two of them started to leave, "Now let's get going."
Samael nodded as he finally stepped out of the bathroom, revealing his clean and handsome self to the household.
"Much better, you were so fucking ugly before.", Zdrada commented with a chuckle.
"Yes, I think that should do, much more appropriate." Lucifer said with a smile. "Let us be off."
"Right away.", Pandemonica said as she conjured a portal to the Great Hall, with herself and Justice stepping in first. With Judgement, Cerberus and Samael walking in after before being followed in by Azazel, Zdrada, Modeus, the Helltaker and Malina.
As the girls stepped out, they appeared near the entrance of the Great Hall of Pandemonium. A couple of other portals could also be seen with demons varying in appearance coming out of them before entering the building, with some walking together in groups and talking and some walking in on their own. Some Hell Knights could also be seen wandering the perimeter, as well as standing close to the building with their weapons or magic at the ready. Samael and the Helltaker were definitely taken aback by the Great Hall, surprised and amazed by its size and architecture.
"I knew the fallen built this place, but this is…impressive…" Samael said.
"It helps to have Mulciber for an architect." Judgement remarked.
"Certainly.", Pandemonica stated in agreement as she looked at the building.
Lucifer then finally entered through the portal, but she now was wearing a red cape with silver shoulder pads and various demonic ornaments, including her insignia and a pentagram. Besides this, she now had dark eyeshadow around her eyes and lipstick.
"Woah…." The Helltaker said, who started to blush.
"Heh, good to know that he likes it.", Justice said.
Some Hell Knights on patrol that were close by to the group, noticed Lucifer and bowed at her after walking close enough for her to notice them.
"Your Majesty.", they said.
Lucifer nodded before walking towards the others before the Hell Knights began to continue patrolling the area.
"I thought we had to be here on time." Malina said with an annoyed tone.
"You do, but the summit starts when I say it does." Lucifer said proudly.
"Let's just get this over-", Zdrada was about to say before she was cut off by the sound of running and a female voice that called out to Lucifer, it was coming from behind the group.
"Your Majesty!", the voice said before the group turned around to see who it was, the person in question was Berith waving at the Queen of Hell, "It's good to see you again!"
Judgement let out an irritated sigh, knowing how this was. As soon as Berith reached the group, she then bowed on one knee while trying to catch her breath.
"Phew…heh, I-I contacted all the members of the Council, including the Hell Knight Generals, Your Majesty!", Berith said, "And don't worry, people still don't know about you-know-what."
"Good to know, Berith." Lucifer said before she kept walking, and the group followed after her along with Berith.
"I-If you don't mine me asking, how are things up there?", Berith asked as she then looked at the rest of the group, "Are any of them giving you a hard time? And what's with the human and two angels? Sorry if I'm asking too much, by the way, Your Majesty."
"They are with me, Berith.", Lucifer replied. "Now go and ensure everyone is seated."
"Of course, right away, Your Majesty!", Berith said before bowing quickly and making her way to the main room, speed walking ahead of the group and was out of sight as she turned a corner that had another entrance that led to the main room.
"That woman makes me cringe.", Malina said, gritting her teeth.
"No kidding, Malinka.", Zdrada said in agreement.
"She is certainly very loyal towards Lucifer ever since she became the queen.", Pandemonica stated, "Though I suppose it can't be helped."
"We should probably go and take our seats.", Samael said.
"Yes, let's go.", Pandemonica said as she then walked through the double doors to the main room, to which everyone except Lucifer, Judgement and Cerberus followed.
The Queen, Gatekeeper and High Prosecutor headed down a hallway that reached the centre of the Great Hall, where they then started ascending up a staircase that led into a small room just below the Throne of Hell atop the sphere of the Great Hall. Those who were inside the room when the three got there were four specific demons. One of them was Berith, who was looking out the door that led to the meeting room, keeping an eye on the other members that were taking their seats.
Another was a male demon with long flowing white hair swept back and out of his face, two white horns that curled like a ram's and had a beard that reached down to his neck. He wore a black robe with red trimming that exposed his bare chest, black slacks and black boots as well as various necklaces and jewellery adorned around his body and torso, with one having his insignia and others being symbols and items embodying fertility and lust.
Right next to him was another male demon appearing to have his hair tied into a bun, with a few strands of hair running down the front side of his head and had small black horns that were curving upwards. He also had a full beard that went half-way down his neck. He was wearing a black hooded cloak with red trimmings, long sleeves, and had a red sigil on his back, under that he wore a red undershirt along with a black tie, black slacks, and black shoes.
The demon opposite this one was male too, having white hair that only reached down a little past their neck and had a goatee and long black horns that were twisted slightly. He wore glasses with a thin frame, a black military style trench coat with red trimmings and various badges and insignias on it and shoulder pads with one depicting a wolf head and the other depicting a dragon's wings, a red undershirt with a black tie, white gloves, black slacks and black boots.
"Hey, Lucifer.", the one with the robe, addressed Lucifer rather casually.
"It's "Your Majesty", to you Asmodeus!", Berith exclaimed, to which the demon known as Asmodeus gave her a shrug.
"Speak more respectfully to the Viceroy, Berith." Lucifer said with a sigh. "Asmodeus has known me since his conception, he's been a comrade since the beginning."
"Of course! I apologize, Your Majesty!", Berith said, giving her a bow before looking back out of the doors.
"Greetings, Your Majesty.", the cloaked demon said, turning around and slightly bowed as he saw Lucifer and the others enter.
"Welcome back, Your Majesty.", the demon with a military coat said, also bowing and turning to face Lucifer.
"Astaroth, Dantalion, how are my Archdukes?" Lucifer asked the two.
"I am doing well, thank you for asking.", the cloaked one known as Dantalion replied.
"Oh, he's been quite well, ever since that night.", the one with the coat known as Astaroth replied with a snarky tone.
"I have not a clue as to what you're talking about, Astaroth.", Dantalion said, crossing his arms.
"You were just telling me about the hot dame you met the other night, said she was into magic like you were, and that turned you on.", Astaroth said without a hint of shame.
"No I wasn't!", Dantalion denied as a blush spread across his face, "You exaggerate things too much! It wasn't like that with her at all!"
"Do not lie to us, Dantalion. Especially to someone that can sense the lust within you.", Asmodeus stated, as he then decided to take part of the conversation.
"Well then, what was it like, Archduke Dantalion?", Lucifer asked with a brow raised.
"Y-Your Majesty! You believe them!?", Dantalion exclaimed, but then cleared his throat, "Well it's just like-"
"Sorry to interrupt, but everyone is at their seats, Your Majesty.", Berith said, cutting off Dantalion's response.
"Berith, has everyone been accounted for?", Lucifer asked.
"Yes, Your Majesty.", Berith said, after briefly looking outside to double-check, "Ready to go out when you are."
Dantalion then straightened his clothes and tie, preparing to go out into the meeting room after giving a sigh of relief now that he didn't have to confess himself, with Asmodeus being ready to go as well but made no efforts in straightening himself out. Astaroth was already prepared and followed his fellow Archduke and the Viceroy upstairs to where the Throne of Hell was within the Great Hall. Lucifer took a few deep breaths before she, Cerberus and Judgement headed up too.
Outside, many of the Stygian Council were all seated and speaking to one another. There was a booth close to the sphere that had three demons there, one that appeared to have demonic wings were being chained to the booth, much to their disappointment. Opposite of the Hell Knight Generals, who were all sitting in a circle around the sphere, the strangest sight was of a female demon in a row boat with an oar moving around in a circle as if she was in a moat. She had long white hair, red drowsy eyes and white medium length horns that poked out of a hood she was wearing that was attached to a black sleeveless twin tailed long coat, while she was wearing a red undershirt, black slacks, gloves and boots.
"Hey there, Generals…", the hooded demon said in a dry tone. "Care to browse my wares? I'll even throw in a nice discount for higher ups like yourself…"
"You keep trying to bargain with us, Charon. But no matter how many times you ask, we're not going to buy anything from you!", one of the generals barked as he lightly slammed his fist on the table.
"Wow, someone forgot to take their blood pressure medications today.", the female hooded demon called Charon said with a sly grin. "I have those by the way if you need them…"
"No, thank you. Just row over to someone else to harass.", the same general retorted to Charon.
"Just calm down.", another general next to him said as he put a hand on his shoulder, to which the aggravated general gave a sigh before rubbing his head.
"What about you, stone cold?", Charon asked Chariot.
However, for Charon, Chariot seemed to only be staring at the throne ever since he got to his seat, only waiting for the summit to start and didn't pay too much attention to everything and everyone around him. Sure enough, Lucifer, Cerberus and Judgement soon rose up from the sphere and began to take their place on the Throne of Hell. Everyone else that was already in the room began to silence themselves as they saw Lucifer, Asmodeus, the Archdukes, and the others enter the room. Lucifer looked at all those present before speaking up.
"The Stygian Council has once again gathered! Let the summit begin! Inferne regnum bene sit et ardeat!"
"Inferne regnum bene sit et ardeat!", everyone else in the room repeated, before the room became quiet, and all members were ready to take part of the summit. Berith then spoke up afterwards.
"Respected and honoured parcel of the Stygian Council, we are here to discuss the possibility of conflict with the Fae. Just a few hours ago, the Fae were attacking the city where Our Majesty is currently residing at. Those that were accompanying her, along with Hell Knights of Jubokko Company as reinforcements, had engaged with the Fae present, most of them were killed while some were taken to Hell Knight Headquarters for interrogation. Currently, the Fae have not attacked any other location on Earth as we speak, but from what was gathered at the interrogation, at least two upcoming attacks are planned."
After she was finished speaking, multiple voices from the council members started to murmur, either among themselves or towards others that were sitting close by. Though the Hell Knight Generals had no need to talk as they had already gone over everything at their headquarters. Dantalion had started to rub his hand on his chin as he seemed to be in deep thought about this, along with Asmodeus who rested his chin on both hands. One of the demons within the second row of the Great Hall then stood up.
"Vine, King of Aaru, permission to speak?", they asked.
"Granted." Lucifer said to the Vassal King known as Vine.
"Am I to believe that we have engaged in war with Avalon? A war we attempted to circumvent via collaboration with Heaven?" Vine asked.
"The outcome was unavoidable given the circumstances." Lucifer replied, making many of the Council curious and wondering what the Queen meant by that.
"Regardless if engaging the Fae was avoidable or not, I believe that we need to prepare ourselves for that possibility, now that we have engaged with their forces already.", Dantalion stated.
"We are certainly capable of combating them, but why not negotiate so that we wouldn't have to fight them to begin with?", the winged demon chained to his seat asked, speaking slightly faster than normal, "We never bothered to stop their attacks before along with saving mortals. Why should we do so now? Other than the fact that Our Majesty and others she brought with her are on Earth?"
"Chariot, Hell Knight General, permission to speak?", he asked.
"Granted." Lucifer replied.
"Unfortunately, some Fae at the city were able to escape with their own portals, no doubt that they have already seen Our Majesty present and have reported it to their own leaders.", Chariot stated as he looked at the chained demon now known as Verdelet, "That will most likely influence them to make the choice in starting a war with us and will make negotiations with them impossible or at least much more difficult."
"Lysia, Hell Knight General, permission to speak?" She asked.
"Granted." Lucifer replied.
"With all due respect, why was Her Majesty, the High Prosecutor, her predecessor, the Gatekeeper and the Viceroy's granddaughter all on Earth to begin with?" Lysia asked bluntly. "The Generals were informed of their absence, but were never told the reason why."
"That information is still classified, General Lysia.", Berith stated, giving the general a glare, "And it will continue to stay that way unless said otherwise."
"Bael, King of Sheol, permission to speak." One of the Vassal Kings asked.
"Granted." Lucifer replied.
"Regardless of the situation and reasoning, the Fae have no doubt treated the Hell Knights' intervention as a declaration of war." Bael said in a calm tone. "Though we do not risk anything taking part in it unless they choose to wipe out mankind."
"Even so, how long would they go with the idea of wiping out the majority of mankind, or even wiping out mankind entirely, take exactly?", Asmodeus asked, "I can grant you that Heaven probably would intervene in their attacks if they didn't choose to go to war with us, but Lucifer and the others will be targets now that they are on Earth, including my granddaughter. They can then declare war after they have taken out Lucifer and her group, or constantly attack to weaken them."
"Our Majesty.", Berith corrected irritatingly, then sighed, "But he does make a good point."
"So we agree that we must take action on the Fae?" Astaroth asked.
"I still don't see why can't we talk our way out of this first.", Verdelet stated as he tried to cross his arms but remembered that his arms and legs were chained, "I think that we can strike a deal with the Fae while we have the chance. Make it so that they don't target Our Majesty as well. If they break it, only then we can escalate things to conflict."
"But how much of a chance do you think we'll really have in talking with them?", Dantalion asked.
"We should use whatever chance we have.", Verdelet replied, "I'm sure what we have currently is more than what we'll have later."
"Why do you believe that they would agree to a deal? They despise demons as much as humans, though we do not exactly intervene in their affairs like Earth and Heaven do." Astaroth stated.
"They are right, I'm sure they wouldn't even want to talk to us to begin with, for that exact reason.", Asmodeus said in agreement.
"I'm just saying that if there's a possibility for conflict, there's a possibility to get out of this situation as well.", Verdelet stated.
"So what? Her Majesty sits down with King Oberon and negotiates peace? If they really were open to that possibility, why did they attack her, or am I to believe that the Fae couldn't recognize the Queen of Hell?" Astaroth retorted.
Verdelet was about to speak, but this time he stopped to think twice about his opinion. The other two demons near Verdelet began to speak.
"If they are willing to attack demons of such notoriety, why would we expect them to listen to our terms? It would take the End of Days for them to see reason if they have no qualm attacking Her Majesty." Said the male demon who had horns shaped like a bison's.
"I would think that they wouldn't want to take the time to even read a letter if we gave them one.", a female demon who appeared to have sharp horns that were pointed straight up said.
"I agree, Gremory." Astaroth said to the female demon called Gremory. "Same with Aciel, the situation has already got out of hand."
"Indeed, we should at least start preparing for war while waiting for their move.", Dantalion said with a nod, "Anything else that you have found out about the Fae have developed in terms of weaponry?"
"Other than the golem as tall as a skyscraper, the Fae also have developed hardlight weapons and rune enhanced armour and firearms.", Chariot replied, "We don't know how powerful they are, but we should advance our own equipment as well."
"So what? Do we like….call for a vote on this…?" Charon asked as she rowed her boat around the sphere with a bored tone.
"Do you have somewhere else to be, Charon?", Dantalion asked in an annoyed tone while squinting his eyes towards her, though he also saw some other council members also giving an annoyed look towards the Ferrier of the Damned.
"There are those that would like to voice their opinion on this matter, Charon, so unless if you want to speak about this yourself, then I suggest you stay silent.", Asmodeus stated.
"Sheesh, don't blow a gasket, Asmodeus…" Charon said, rolling her eyes.
"Not planning to.", Asmodeus said, then turned to Judgement, Lucifer, and Cerberus, "What do you guys think we should do about the Fae since you were there yourselves?"
"We fight!" Cerberus yipped as she wagged her tails.
"I agree!" Judgement seconded.
"Wow, that's pretty straightforward.", Asmodeus chuckled lightly, "Lucifer?"
"My answer is not entirely certain, therefore I must fall upon the opinions of this Council to help me make my decision." Lucifer replied firmly, addressing everyone.
"Understood, Your Majesty.", Berith said, giving her a nod and looked at everyone, "Speak up now if you haven't already."
"I would think that going to war with the Fae, or at least preparing for one, would be a good thing.", a male demon with white horns that curved at the end said, "No doubt because of the reasons stated already."
"Who's to say they can't be reasoned with, though?" One of the demons countered.
"And if we do reason with them, what are we going to get out of it?", Gremory asked, "They already attacked Our Majesty, and we can preemptively strike against them since we know they plan two more attacks."
"Let us cast a vote!" Astaroth said. "See how many are of the same opinion."
"Very well then.", Berith said with a nod as she snapped her fingers and a floating ballot appeared next to her and papers appeared on each of the council member's desk, "Let the voting begin."
On the open seats of the sphere being guarded by two Hell Knights, the rest of the harem, including Samael, were watching the summit in session. And though they sat and had their own opinions on the matter, they weren't able to speak about them, especially the two angels and the Helltaker, who got weird and contemptuous looks from the surrounding demons. They looked over the voting process, with the ballot floating to each council member before they placed their piece of paper in it.
"You think it's a good idea to go to war with the Fae?", Modeus whispered to the group.
"I myself am not sure.", Pandemonica replied, "They did attack those that were there, and they could retaliate, but we can't be too sure about that as they'll leave us alone, unless we keep interfering of course."
"The situation has gotten too far, regardless of whether Heaven has intervened." Samael said. "Lives that could have been saved were lost so many times because people didn't act fast enough."
"I think that it's too late for negotiations with them as well.", Justice stated, "And I'm sure the Fae are thinking the same thing, so we should at least prepare ourselves for whatever they are going to throw at us."
"I know that some dates are probably going to be cancelled because of this, big guy, but we can make up for them later.", Modeus said as she pressed herself against Helltaker with a smile.
"I… I understand…" The Helltaker said, scratching the back of his head.
"The voting is now complete!", Berith called out as the ballot floated back to her, "We will now go over the results!"
She then opened up the ballot and looked through each of the papers, keeping count of both decisions written on each paper. In about a minute, Berith was finished counting, and she looked up at everybody in the sphere.
"Sixty-seven to seventeen, majority in favour of preparing for conflict with the Fae!", she calls out, then looks to Lucifer.
Lucifer then stood up and looked at the Stygian Council.
"I have heard your voice, Stygian Council! Hell will go to the war with Avalon!"
Most of the council members that were in favour of going to war with the Fae within started to clap and cheer, with some of them even standing up, though some more were reserved about this, such as Chariot. Those that weren't in favour were either reserved as well or clearly expressed their disappointment.
"And so it begins." Samael said. "Let loose the dogs of war…"
"Indeed.", Pandemonica said with a nod, "We should prepare ourselves as well, just in case any Fae comes to Vice City again."
"That would be wise…" Samael said, with the others nodding in agreement before watching as the summit was about to end.
"Thank you all for gathering for this summit. I will see you all at the end of the month." Lucifer said. "You are all dismissed! Inferne regnum bene sit et ardeat!"
"Inferne regnum bene sit et ardeat!", the rest of the council repeated back before some of them got out of their seats and left, while some stayed and chatted.
Samael was currently leaning against one of the walls outside the Great Hall. Various demons passed by him, giving him weird looks, given he was an angel wearing a demon's suit. Some of them didn't even seem to recognize him either, though he didn't pay much attention to it as he was lost in thought. As he was looking away, Chax walked up to Samael and tapped him on the shoulder. She was on guard duty within the Great Hall after she had lunch with the others of Jubokko Company.
"Now, now, what kind of disguise is that?", she asked the Accuser.
"Wasn't trying to disguise myself, this was the only thing I could wear after showering for the first time in 8 months." Samael replied, fiddling with his blazer.
"I see then.", Chax said as she put a hand on her hip and leaned on that side, "Think I can get a name? For security reasons, of course."
"Samael." The fallen angel said.
"Samael? As in The Accuser? Poison of God?", Chax asked, rather surprised at this, "Well what are you doing here exactly?"
"Being tangled in my older sister's shenanigans." Samael replied with a dry tone.
"Oh? I assume that older sister would be, Our Majesty?", Chax asked as she got closer to Samael.
Samael looked at Chax, before averting his gaze and blushing.
"Yes, that's correct. But I fell first." He replied before moving the hair out of his face.
"Heh, guess she couldn't be outshone by her younger sibling, I guess.", Chax remarked as she then put her hands on his shoulders and pressed her breasts on his chest.
Samael now had a good view of Chax's cleavage, making his face go red both in embarrassment and arousal. Meanwhile, the female Hell Knight giggled as she saw the change in colour of Samael's face.
"Something wrong?", she asked.
"It's nothing…" Samael replied.
"Hmm, I'm sure it's nothing as well.", Chax chuckled as she then used one of her hands to rub against Samael's body.
Samael blushed again, watching the female Hell Knight feel him up. As if he had already received enough weird looks, more council members that were passing by also looked at Chax rubbing and pressing up against Samael's body. However, one of them decided it was time to put a stop to this as soon as he saw this.
"Chax!", Chariot called out, to which she got off of Samael and stood at attention immediately, with the other generals coming up afterwards, "What do you think you're doing?"
"N-nothing sir! Just…lost control of myself.", Chax replied with a quick lie, however she knew that none of her superiors wouldn't believe that for even a second.
"That's not going to be an excuse, Chax. We all know this isn't the first time you've done this and that you are capable of restraining yourself.", another male general stated.
"Of course, sir!", Chax said with a nod.
"Though I would think that this match is kind of perfect with her, Generals.", Asmodeus said walking up to them, "After all, Samael here is the one who sort of led the idea of rebellion into the minds such as Lucifer and I. And Chax here, is one of the first Goetians to rebel and allow them to choose their own paths, mainly becoming your troops, of course."
Some Hell Knight Generals turned and squinted at Asmodeus as he stated that.
"So what, you expect us to let her go just because she can be with The Accuser?", the same male general asked.
"Well, not necessarily.", Asmodeus replied with a shrug, "But I'm just saying, she might've found some attraction in him after finding out who he was. And the call really falls onto Chariot, as he is her main general."
"We will speak about this later, Chax.", Chariot said after a few seconds of silence, "There are more important matters, now that we are going to war with the Fae, and we need all the help we can get. Though, I am going to give you a warning for now."
"Understood, sir.", Chax said with a nod, before Chariot walked away, with the rest of the generals following him.
Though some generals were perplexed at his decision, they knew that Chariot was right about how there are more pressing issues, and the Hell Knights needed to be ready against the Fae.
"You seem to be a stick in the mud as per usual, Cahethal." Samael remarked, saying a name that caught the generals off guard.
Chariot then suddenly stopped in his tracks as soon as that name was said, along with the other generals who were a bit confused as they heard it as well, and then saw the dark-skinned general turn his head to the right-side of his shoulder. Some memories briefly ran through Chariot's head, they were millions of years old, but he remembered them as if they all happened yesterday. He then opened his mouth to speak to Samael.
"You can call me what you like, but what matters to me is whether you're going to help Our Majesty or not, as I saw you with her on Earth earlier.", he stated firmly.
"Why else would I be here?" Samael retorted with a shrug.
"Then be sure to watch over the High Prosecutor while you're up there as well.", Chariot stated before turning back forward and continued to walk, with the generals following him.
"He hasn't changed one bit, except for his wardrobe…" Samael said with a sigh.
Though most had left the Great Hall, Lucifer, the Helltaker and their harem still remained, with Lucifer herself currently removing her cape and makeup.
"I enjoy showing my unholy beauty to my subjects, but it is still a hassle applying and removing this from my face…."
"You can't just use magic for this shit?", Zdrada remarked.
"Do you?" Malina retorted. "I've seen how long you sometimes spend in the bathroom applying makeup and your contacts."
"I only know fire magic, remember?", Zdrada replied, "Thought you'd know this about me ever since she taught me, Malinka."
"She?" The Helltaker asked.
"Our mother…" Malina replied, having a solemn look on her face as she said so. "She was a fire dancer, and Zdrada was taught fire magic by her."
"Yeah, just before she was butchered…", Zdrada added, looking at the ground while clenching her fists.
"She's dead?" The Helltaker asked.
"Yeah…since then it was just me and Malinka, looking out for each other.", Zdrada replied.
Lucifer then came out, no longer having her makeup and cape on, before letting out a sigh.
"War is now upon us, and we must do what we can to win."
"Understood, Lucifer.", Pandemonica said with a nod.
"What about Heaven? What if they try to interfere, given their efforts to maintain the ignorance of mankind?" Judgement asked, crossing her arms.
"I'm sure we can figure something out if that happens.", Justice replied, "After all, if they knew about the attack earlier, they might've seen us as well. Though I'm sure they would've done something when they did."
"True that.", Zdrada commented as she pulled out a cigarette, snapping her fingers to light it and started smoking.
"I wonder if I should head back to Heaven and see what my superiors are doing about the situation." Azazel said as she finished taking notes.
"That's quite the risk, especially since they might know that you're with us.", Pandemonica said.
"Perhaps you should refrain from doing that." Lucifer said. "I'd rather the High Council not get involved."
"Agreed.", both Pandemonica and Justice said with a nod, then Justice spoke up afterwards, "So where should we start exactly?"
"Avalon always tries to attack other nations, so why not attack theirs?" Lucifer replied.
"Avalon is protected by Fae magic, which has created a barrier that not even one of us can penetrate." Judgement stated. "How do we lift it or bypass it?"
"I can find out a way to assist you in that regard, Your Majesty.", Dantalion said before bowing towards her, "I just so happen to have started to learn a bit about Fae magic."
"Is that so?" Lucifer asked with a brow raised.
"Indeed.", Dantalion simply replied then scratched the back of his head, "The girl that I had met was somewhat knowledgeable in Fae magic, and so I decided to learn a thing or two from her before she just gave me some books."
"You must really like her beyond that…", Modeus said with a grin, she could sense some lust radiating from Dantalion, "You hide it well, but not well enough."
"What are you talking abou-?", Dantalion was about to ask before he saw who was speaking to him, he then started to mutter, "Princess M-Modeus, Granddaughter of Asmodeus, of course you can tell as well… Anyway! I can help you guys by learning Fae magic faster in order to get you to Avalon. Hell, maybe even the girl I'm with already knows, but I'll check in with her myself to be sure."
"I'll start with learning about it for now, Dantalion." Lucifer said. "The best way to defeat the enemy is to know their tactics and abilities."
"Of course, Your Majesty, and I will give you the resources to do so.", Dantalion said before he snapped his fingers and a couple of books and scrolls appeared floating next to him, "I think these will be enough in trying to learn Fae magic and don't worry, I duplicated some for myself so that way I can still help you out in case I am needed."
"Thank you." Lucifer said, as she took the books and scrolls.
"It's no trouble at all, Your Majesty.", Dantalion stated before he backed himself up into a purple portal that he manifested, "Now I will continue my studies right away."
"And he's just gone…." Malina said, rolling her eyes.
"Yep.", Zdrada said as she blew a cloud of smoke, "But I just noticed, where the fuck did Samael go?"
"Outside I think." The Helltaker replied.
"We'll meet up with him soon.", Pandemonica said then turned to Lucifer, "Do you think we need to talk to anyone else, or should we make our way back to the house?"
"We should head to the house, unless of course any of you have unfinished business." Lucifer replied.
"I'm sure we're good.", Justice said, with others giving a nod of agreement.
"Are you sure there's nothing else?", Asmodeus asked, with the group hearing his voice in another direction and turned to face him, but especially Modeus, "Not even greeting your grandfather?"
"Grandpa!", Modeus called out as she then went up to him and gave him a hug.
"Hello, Modeus.", Asmodeus said with a smile as he hugged back before the two separated, "How's my favourite grandchild doing?"
"I'm doing pretty well, actually.", Modeus replied with a smile, then whispered into her grandad's ear and pointed to Helltaker, "He is the one that gathered us for a demon harem…and he's really proficient in what he does."
"Oh! This is him?", Asmodeus said surprised, "Well, glad to know that my granddaughter is in good hands! Hahaha!"
"This is your grandpa?", The Helltaker asked, surprised.
"Yes he is.", Modeus replied with a smile, "I have told him quite a bit about you, since he's one of the few that was let in on what Lucifer had planned."
"Asmodeus, the Lord of Pleasure, Father of Carnal Desires, God of Himbos and Jiggalos." Malina said, rolling her eyes. "Our mother told stories about him."
"And what stories would they be?" Cerberus asked curiously.
"Well, they started quite a long time ago, thought you would've heard of some of them yourself as you are the Gatekeeper after all.", Asmodeus replied, "But anyway, I can recall plenty of those that I am most proud of…some more than others, but still."
"Do we have the time for this, considering what is going to happen with the Fae?", Pandemonica asked, crossing her arms.
"R-right of course! Another time then!", Asmodeus said as he clapped his hands together before giving his granddaughter one more hug, "It was nice seeing you, Modeus! And you better continue to keep an eye on her, mortal!"
"I will, sir." The Helltaker said with a nod.
"Goodbye, Grandpa!", Modeus said as she gave him one more hug before walking back to the group.
"Good.", Asmodeus said with a smile while waving back to Modeus, "I will also be in contact if you need anything from me, Lucifer. It was nice seeing you as well, Samael."
"Likewise." Samael said, who had come inside alongside Asmodeus.
"Didn't notice you were gone for a second.", Zdrada chuckled as she looked up at Samael, "Where the fuck were you?"
"Outside." Samael replied simply.
"Doing what?" Lucifer asked.
"Talking to someone…" Samael replied, remembering the brief intimate moment with Chax.
"It was with Chax. Daughter of Orobas, one of the first Goetians to become a Hell Knight.", Asmodeus clarified, "She's quite the bold and very sexy individual."
"H-H-Hey!" Samael exclaimed, blushing.
"My dear brother, I didn't think you'd be into the younger girls." Lucifer remarked.
"Damn, not even an hour down here, and he's already making moves.", Justice commented.
"No kidding.", Modeus said, giving Samael a sly grin.
"Fallen I may be, but I am an angel." Samael said.
"Whatever you say.", Zdrada chuckled as she exhaled another cloud of smoke.
"That's enough, let us return to the house." Lucifer said, as she opened up a portal back to Earth.
"Indeed, it's about time we get started on our end.", Pandemonica said before walking through the portal.
"Again, it was nice seeing you again, Lucy. Same with you, Samael and Modeus.", Asmodeus said before walking away, "Good luck."
"See ya, Asmodeus!", Justice said, giving him a goodbye wave before walking backwards through the portal.
Lucifer went through the portal alongside Judgement, Cerberus and the Helltaker then was followed by Malina, Samael and the others.
"So, we just need to learn about Fae magic in order to attack them on Avalon, right?", Zdrada asked.
"That is correct." Lucifer replied.
"I'm sure once we do get to Avalon, we should also bring in some more of the Hell Knights as well.", Pandemonica stated, "Maybe call upon Jubokko Company again."
"That sounds like a good idea.", Justice said in response.
"Then let's do our best to figure out how to get past Avalon's barrier." Samael said.
"Agreed.", Pandemonium said with a nod, "But what about Helltaker?"
"Yeah, what about me?" The Helltaker asked.
"I was just wondering how you can help.", Pandemonica replied, "You haven't been trained in any magic and that would take too much time before we go to Avalon."
"Hmmm…that's true.", Justice said as she rubbed her chin in thought.
"I could learn, maybe even have magically enhanced weapons." The Helltaker suggested.
"What do you think, Lucifer?", Pandemonica asked as she turned to her.
"It can't hurt to better educate him in dealing with the supernatural." Lucifer replied.
"I mean, some of us could train the guy while the rest can learn about the Fae's magic bullshit.", Zdrada said as she finished off her cigarette, but not before blowing a stream of smoke at Helltaker.
Helltaker let out a few coughs before blowing away the smoke, with Zdrada giving him a shit-eating grin.
"Better not blow too much smoke in here, Zdrada.", Pandemonica said as she gave her own sinister grin towards the Bitch Demon, before turning back to the rest of the group, "So now we need to figure out what each of us are going to do. We know for sure that Lucifer is going to take time in learning about the Fae's magic."
"I can help out with teaching Taker.", Justice said.
"They're no doubt going to send some Fae after us because of this." Judgement said with a sigh. "We'd best be on our guard."
"Indeed, some of us should be on watch as well.", Pandemonica said, "Azazel should keep watch, that way we are prepared before our attackers arrive. I will assist in teaching Helltaker on how to use magic."
"Fuck it, I can help in guarding the place too.", Zdrada said with a shrug.
"Well, I guess we're doing this now." Samael said with a sigh before looking off into the distance. "Makes you wonder what Avalon is thinking at this point."
Thousands of miles away from the Helltaker and his harem, on an island long thought to be a myth amongst mankind there was a great castle, one that appeared to be made from a long extinct super tree with various vines, fungi and crystals protruding and growing out of it to help form the shape of a great fortress. This was the Great Palace of Avalon, home to those of Fae royalty and where the Court of Avalon conducted its business. Inside the palace there was a large courtroom, with various chairs and thrones made from enchanted oak with runes carved in the sides, and in the middle a large well of glowing water stood which when viewed allowed one to observe events across the planet and create projections of light and energy. On two of the thrones there sat the King and Queen of Avalon.
The king, known as Oberon, was a tall and handsome man with long flowing silver hair that shined like moon light, blue glowing eyes and had fair skin and pointy ears like an Elf. He wore a crown made from wood and ore adorned with crystals and leaves as well as an outfit composed of a long coat with various bits of flora decorating it, armour pieces made from ore with runes carved in them and a cloak that look like it was a tapestry depicting the history of Avalon.
Meanwhile, the queen, known as Titania, appeared to be a beautiful woman that was a couple of inches shorter than Oberon. She had long gold hair that slightly went past her shoulders that glistened in the light, had bright green eyes, and also had pointy ears. Her own crown was also made of wood, but only had a few crystals embedded in it with some flowers, and she also wore a dress with the front side covering her knees while the back side of it touched the ground, and it also displayed the history of Avalon.
Suddenly, a High Goblin barged into the courtroom, gaining the attention of the king, queen and the Court of Avalon, who were obscured by the dim lighting.
"I bring news from the returning companies!" The High Goblin shouted.
"Speak.", Queen Titania simply stated, giving the High Goblin a nod.
"The fleet that was sent to Vice City was attacked! We've lost most of their numbers!" The High Goblin explained, which caught the Court of Avalon's attention.
"We do know that humans have advanced in their technology, but who could've done that much against our Grand Army?", Queen Titania asked in surprise.
"It wasn't humans, it was demons that defeated them!" The High Goblin answered.
"Demons?!", one of the court members in the darkness exclaimed, "Why would they interfere in our affairs now? They haven't done so for millennia!"
"Who were they led by?" King Oberon asked the High Goblin.
"It was her….the Queen of Hell…" The High Goblin said with a hint of fear in his voice.
After hearing this, all the court members then began to murmur among each other, hastily jumping to their own conclusions and decisions on what action should be taken against the demons.
"We should declare war on them as well!", one shouted.
"Would we even stand a chance if Lucifer herself is waging war against us?" Another exclaimed.
"I'm sure that we would!", the first one exclaimed, "We have developed the new golems and weapons, surely we outmatch them!"
"We are but an island, they are an entire realm, one that has existed far longer than Avalon!" One of the Court said, who looked to be a High Elf.
"Silence!", Titania yelled to the entire room, to which the members began to stop arguing and looked back at the king and queen, Titania herself sighed before looking at the High Goblin giving the report, "From the fleet we sent earlier, how many have returned?"
"184, Your Highness." The High Goblin replied.
"What about the golems, including the big one that we have recently made?", she asked after nodding at the response.
"The large one was destroyed, we only have 13 golems intact from Vice City." The High Goblin replied.
Some court members gasped and murmured once more as they were surprised to hear that the large golem was destroyed during the attack, as the large golem as a whole was given better upgrades than the smaller golems had recently received. Members that advocated for war against Hell were now having second thoughts, discussing and debating it once more among their peers at a more quiet volume. Queen Titania was also caught off-guard after hearing this as well; she was fairly confident that the large golem would perform well, even against magic forces from Heaven and Hell.
"Court of Avalon." Oberon said with a cold but firm tone, making the entire courtroom go silent. Titania looked at him and placed a hand over his before turning back to everyone else.
"You forget that Avalon survived not because of power, but because of intelligence. We have powerful magic and weapons, yes, but humans outnumber us and angels and demons are stronger naturally. Therefore, we must instead think smarter than our enemies, not stronger. If we are to win, it must be through strategy and deception." Oberon explained.
"King Oberon is right.", Titania said, "The Queen of Hell may have overpowered us that time, but we can still win against her and her forces. Let's discontinue our plans on our next attacks on Earth for now, we must think of a way to cripple their forces and prepare for anything they can throw at us."
"Are we all in agreement?" Oberon asked the court.
"Yes, King Oberon!", the courtroom members said unanimously.
"Then the court is adjourned for now." Oberon said before standing up from his throne, with Queen Titania also standing up after him.
Oberon was approached by two individuals. One of them was an older looking man with long, straight white hair that touched his shoulders and went down along his back and had a beard that went over his neck and reached down to his upper torso, along with having hazel coloured eyes. He was wearing a closed dark blue-hooded cloak with gold highlights, long sleeves that nearly went over his hands, and split after going past his waistline, revealing dark grey pants and brown leather boots that also had gold highlights. He had various rings on his fingers with small crystals varying with colour embedded into them, while also having some small bags and potions on his brown belt. The other was a beautiful and alluring woman with pale skin and black, long raven-like hair with purple eyes. She wore a blue revealing dress that exposed her stomach, cleavage and sides with various bits of jewellery and dark crystals adorned around it.
"Grandmaster Merlin, Priestess Morgan." Oberon said to the two individuals.
"Greetings, King Oberon and Queen Titania.", Merlin said, giving the two a nod.
"So Lucifer and her little demons have decided to enter the fray as well." Morgan said, as she examined her fingernails.
"It would seem so.", Titania said, "Do either of you two have any suggestions on how to attack or find information about them?"
"I might have a solution, a way to ensure we know when they'll strike next." Morgan replied.
"We're all ears.", Titania said with a nod, while Merlin also turned to face Morgan.
"One of your schemes again, Priestess?" Oberon asked with an eyebrow raised.
"My schemes have always been successful, Your Majesty.", Morgan said with a giggle. "I have someone on the inside that will tell me what we need to know, and the best part is he'll never suspect me."
"Sounds promising. What about you, Grandmaster Merlin?", Titania asked.
"I am planning to teach our mages the Infernal Arts in order to attack and defend against Hell's forces.", Merlin replied, looking back towards the king and queen, "As you may already know, I am a Cambion, a half-demon. Yet upon being baptised, like most human babies are who were born under the Church, I still possess the same powers as they do but none of their vulnerabilities."
"Excellent, they certainly won't expect either of you.", Titania stated, "Now we need to find ways to keep and expand upon our advantages we have against them."
"Indeed." Oberon said as he began to think.
"We'd better get started then.", Merlin said, "Unless there is more you need from us, King Oberon."
"No, that will be all." Oberon clarified.
"Understood. I will gather the mages right away.", Merlin said, giving Oberon and Titania a quick bow before exiting the courtroom.
Morgan gave a bow as well as she left the courtroom too with a wicked grin on her face.
"I feel like we have a chance at this.", Titania said as she looked at Oberon.
"I hope so, my love." Oberon said. "The survival of the Fae is counting on it."
"Indeed.", Titania said, then gently pulled him in with one arm before giving him a kiss on the lips.
Oberon kissed back before soon breaking their lips apart as he stared off into the distance, a beautiful view of the island catching his eye. With her arm still wrapped around his waist, Titania also looked at the island.
"Humanity had their chance to reclaim this world, but now it is our time…"
