This one and the next ones won't be as long as the first two both so we aren't spending a month trying to write one chapter and so we can have decent breaks between chapters too. A week had passed since the Stygian Council had elected to go to war with Avalon, and within the Helltaker household the Queen herself Lucifer was looking into a few grimoires and scrolls containing spells and information on Fae magic, with Pandemonica learning alongside her. She juggled looking at each page with stuffing her mouth full of pancakes, all while having to deal with the sound of a certain Triple Demon zooming around the house.
"Cerberus, stay still!" Malina yelled as he dove at one of her bodies, only for them to dodge.
"Come on, Cerberus!", Justice called out as she tried to catch one of them, "They need to concentrate!"
"Never!" Cerberus yelped as she kept moving across the room at a rapid pace.
Pandemonica then stood up and walked out of the room in front of one of Cerberus' bodies, she had her horns fully grown out, and her eyes were slit, all the while having a sadistic grin on her face.
"Cerberus…behave yourself. Or else…", she said.
Cerberus immediately stopped moving, as her eyes dilated and her ears drooped down in fear.
"Good girl.", Pandemonica said as she patted Cerberus' head before going back to the room to go study with Lucifer, sitting back down near the desk then taking a sip of her coffee as she looked over another scroll that was given by Dantalion.
"Can you actually understand this gibberish?" Malina asked as she looked at one of the pages of the grimoires.
"I'm omnilingual, Malina, I can understand all languages." Lucifer replied as she turned the page.
"All angels and former angels are." Samael said as he sat down and picked up one of the scrolls.
"Dantalion has certainly made learning this easier with some of the notes he gave us as well.", Pandemonica stated.
"That is true, yes." Lucifer said as she looked over them.
"I wonder how the others are doing in teaching Helltaker the magic weapons we gave to him.", Pandemonica wondered as she looked over to reread the same scroll.
"Are they still outside?" Lucifer asked.
"Last time I checked, yes they were.", Pandemonica said with a slight nod while turning to Lucifer, then looked outside the window to see the rest of the demon girls training Helltaker in using the magic weapons he was given.
The Helltaker was trying his best to dodge and block each of the girl's attacks while wielding what appeared to be a magical knife. Justice meanwhile was attacking him with multiple punches, trying to strike at his face and gut. The girls were increasing the pace of their attacks ever since they had begun to train Helltaker and it was obvious that he was improving. However, with the threat they're about to face, they knew that this still wasn't going to be enough as it has only been a week. The Helltaker blocked a couple of kicks from Justice before rolling to the side and dodging a knife thrown by Zdrada, only to then barely intercept and block Judgement's punch.
"Not bad, big guy!", Justice chuckled as she continued her attack and punched Helltaker to the side of his head.
The Helltaker blocked Justice's punch before he was struck in the back by one of Judgement's chains, knocking him to his knees. Zdrada then conjured a small fireball in her hands before shooting it out as a stream of flame towards him, to which the muscular man then leapt up and swiped at it with his magical knife, slicing the stream of flames in two. Modeus watched in awe as she saw Helltaker's improved combat skills on display, with Zdrada and Justice also giving a small grin his way as the flame was split in two.
"Damn…" The Helltaker said with a brow raised, before Zdrada stopped her stream of flame and Justice went in close to punch him again.
The Helltaker blocked, but the force of the punch sent him back a few feet before he dodged a swift strike from Zdrada who was brandishing a knife. She gave him a smile before trying to slash at him again, this time towards his chest but the Helltaker dodged and soon tried landing a strong left hook on the Bitch Demon. She managed to block the punch but was surprised at the amount of force that he used against her, nearly hitting the fence of the backyard as she landed.
"That's enough for now!" Judgement commanded. "We don't want to break his body like last time."
"Heh…that was a good session though.", Justice said as she stretched her arms and Zdrada put away her knives, "You're still improving your skills, dude."
"I've had my fair share of fights before, but it's definitely been a couple of years." The Helltaker said as he stood up and drank some water.
"Hmmm, well let's hope you can still keep up.", Zdrada chuckled before she got a cigarette and lit it up to start smoking.
Modeus then went up to the Helltaker with a towel and wiped his forehead with a smile.
"Thanks Modeus." The Helltaker said, smiling back at the Lustful Demon, who then gave him a kiss on the lips.
"Think we should check on how Lucifer and the others are doing?", Zdrada asked.
"That would be wise to see the Serpent's progress." Judgement replied as she dusted herself off and went back inside.
"Sure thing.", Justice said as she walked back inside along with Modeus and Zdrada.
Inside the house as Lucifer and Pandemonica were going over the scrolls and grimoires, Samael was thinking to himself about what happened in the bathroom and when Chax approached him, remembering that feeling, a feeling of pleasure and lust. That feeling lingered on in the back of his mind, as if there was a parasite burrowed into his head.

"You ok there?", Pandemonica asked as she looked away from the scroll she was reading.
"I'm fine…" Samael replied, before he looked at a few scrolls.
"I see.", Pandemonica said before a small smile appeared on her face, "Though I couldn't help but notice that you look like you've got something on your mind. Care to tell?"
"Uh….nothing…" Samael said averting his gaze as his cheek were red.
"Are you sure?", Pandemonica chuckled as she put a hand under his chin.
Samael's face got even more red and Pandemonica put an arm around his waist, pulling him in closer. Samael's heart raced more as he felt the Tired/Sadistic Demon touch him.
"Or is it that you enjoyed our time before we went to the summit?", she asked, putting her face closer to his.
"Uh…maybe….?" Samael responded nervously.
"You can be honest with us, Samael.", Pandemonica said.
"Is this what it's like to be a demon? To enjoy vices?" Samael asked.
"Mhmmm~", Pandemonica hummed with a nod.
"Do you mind not trying to seduce my brother when I'm present?" Lucifer asked with an annoyed look.
"Right…apologies, Lucifer.", Pandemonica said as she backed away from The Accuser, going back to study Fae magic.
Samael swept his hair back and kept looking at the scrolls and grimoires.
"This is an impressive collection of spells and incantations." Azazel said. "Archduke Dantalion must have spent years studying and practicing them."
"Indeed, he isn't called the High Sorcerer for nothing.", Pandemonica said.
"Does anyone know where the pop crackle is?!" Malina shouted as she was looking through the pantry.
"They should be there.", Modeus replied, "At least there were some the last time I checked."
Malina kept moving her arm around in the pantry before finding a bag of pop crackle and opening it.
"We need more of these, Cerberus ate all the other bags." Malina said as she started eating.
"We can definitely put that on the shopping list later.", Justice said, "But let's go check and see how Lucy and Pandemonica are doing."
"Interesting….these Fae are definitely knowledgeable in the mystic arts." Lucifer remarked.
"Certainly.", Pandemonica said in agreement, "They will be quite difficult to fight against once we are finished here and attack them on Avalon."
"So how's the research going?", Justice asks as she walks in to the living room.
"It is going well so far." Samael replied. "Big Sister has always had a knack for these kinds of things."
"Well that's good.", Justice said, "Taker is still improving with the knife you gave him, Lucy! I have a feeling he'll be ready for later."
"Good to hear." Lucifer said. "I do wonder how he obtained this much knowledge about Fae magic."
"Didn't he say that his girlfriend gave him some books, as she was learning about it as well?", Pandemonica asked looking at Lucifer.
"That's what they said." Lucifer replied. "Though I wonder if there's more to the story."
"Maybe…", Pandemonica said as she got a new scroll to read.
The Helltaker came inside and got a wet cloth from the kitchen and sat down as he rubbed it on his sore spots.
"You can pull your punches just a little bit?"
"Holding back is counterproductive." Judgement said, walking inside and going into the kitchen.
"She's right.", Justice added while Modeus went over to Helltaker's side with another wet cloth and rubbed it on another part of his body, "These guys aren't gonna hold their punches when we fight them, so we've got to be a little hard on you with our sparring sessions. Still doing a great job, Taker."
"Well yeah but it's not going to help if I'm killed." The Helltaker said.
"What would the point of killing you be? Besides, both Justice and Judgement could split a mountain in two, therefore they are holding back." Lucifer stated as she opened up another grimoire.
"Seriously?!" The Helltaker exclaimed.
"Why else do you think they nearly break the bed each time?" Malina said with a brow raised.
"Hehehe…", Justice chuckled while scratching the back of her head.
"So tell me more about Avalon, is it anything like the Arthurian legends say it is?" The Helltaker asked.
"Yes, Taker, it is exactly like the legends say.", Pandemonica replied with a bit of sarcasm.
"Really?" The Helltaker asked surprised.
"No.", Pandemonica answered, "There are many things that humanity still doesn't know about Avalon."
"As we said, they're not your Fairytale creatures, they're ravenous and violent and have no qualms committing atrocities to achieve their goals." Samael said. "Avalon has a caste system, the Royal family at the top with the High Fae below and the Lav Fae at the bottom, and trust me when I say that you don't want to be on the bottom in their society."
"It could be said that they treat the lower class just as badly as people do here on Earth, if not worse.", Pandemonica added.
"Sounds like Hell." The Helltaker said.
"Hell is not that barbaric…." Lucifer objected but then realised her mistake. "Well, we're more organized…"
"Maybe it's best if you don't try and compare yourselves on a moral scale." Samael said. "Besides, that's my job."
"Oh my apologies, O mighty Accuser." Lucifer said sarcastically, with Zdrada chuckling at her remark.
"Anyway, I feel like we should be ready in at least another couple hours.", Pandemonica stated as she continued to read the scroll she was on.
"Then what's our next move?" Judgement asked, crossing her arms.
"Which cities were they going to be targeting?" The Helltaker asked.
"If you remembered what was said at the summit, we knew of two planned attacks.", Pandemonica replied, "One was going to take place in Tokyo and the other was planned for Manhattan. Though we don't know if they have cancelled those plans or not, we should be prepared for any attacks they launch on Earth."
"So which city do we go to first?" Malina asked as she took out some vodka.
"I think we should go to the closest location first.", Pandemonica replied.
"Manhattan." The Helltaker said.
"Correct." Lucifer said as she stood up.
"So who will be going with you?", Modeus asked.
"I can come along as always!", Justice said voluntarily.
"Maybe I should tag along this time…" Malina said with a groan.
"It's just because you're bored or something, aren't you Malinka?", Zdrada asked teasingly.
"You know me so well, don't you?" Malina replied.
"Of course I do.", Zdrada said as she roughed up the top of Malina's hair with her knuckles.
"We'll go!" Cerberus yipped. "We wanna fight too!"
"I will accompany you as well, Lucifer.", Pandemonica stated.
"I'll tag along, see how far my training has got me…" The Helltaker said with a nod.
"Very well then, but you better stand back once it's too much for you.", Pandemonica said firmly while looking at him.
"I will." The Helltaker said.
"Okay, shall we head out now, Lucy?", Justice asked.
"Yes, we should." Lucifer said with a nod.
"About damn time." Samael said, also standing up.
"Wait! Shouldn't we get him something new to wear?", Modeus asked.
"I feel like we have more important matters, Modeus.", Pandemonica stated, "We can worry abou-"
"No it'll be fine!", Modeus exclaimed, insisting on giving Samael a change in his wardrobe, "Me and someone else will go with him before the Fae come!"
"I don't see a problem, I guess.", Justice said.
"But I wanted to-" Samael said before he was grabbed and pulled away by Modeus, she was holding onto him with a really tight grip, as if her life depended on it.
"Let's find you new clothes once we get to Manhattan…", she stated.
"Alright, you win…" Samael said with a sigh. "Take me away, you sexy thing…"
"Did you say something, Brother?" Lucifer asked with a smug grin.
"N-No!" Samael retorted in a grumpy tone.
"I'm sure I heard it too…", Modeus said as a blush spread across her face, "Pervert…"
"What?" Samael said surprised.
"Let's just go to Manhattan, now!", Modeus demanded.
"Okay, okay we'll go!" Samael said as he followed Modeus, "Does anyone want to portal us?"
"Why can't you do it?" Lucifer asked.
"If I could, do you think I would have gone cross-country all this time?" Samael retorted. "Besides, I lost that power when I gave up my halo."
Lucifer sighed as she made them a red portal that led to Manhattan. Modeus entered through the portal while still dragging Samael by his arm, with Justice and Pandemonica following them shortly afterwards. Cerberus and Malina went through next then the Helltaker went in just before Lucifer entered and closed the portal behind them. The only ones left at home were Azazel, Zdrada and Judgement.
"Guess we'll just wait for them then?", Zdrada asked as she glanced at one of the scrolls, before taking out a cigarette and lighting it.
Lucifer's portal opened up in the terminal of Grand Central Station, to which the harem stepped out and arrived in the city of Manhattan, which fortunately was not under attack but they knew it would be eventually. Lucifer let out a sigh as she summoned her phone.
"Better call the Jubokko Company again…"
"Sure thing.", Pandemonica said with a nod.
Soon enough after using the phone, Chariot and the rest of the Jubokko Company arrived, giving a quick bow towards Lucifer.
"Your Majesty.", all of them said, before looking back up at her.
"Welcome once again, Jubokko Company." Lucifer said. "General Chariot has no doubt briefed you on the situation."
"Yes he did, Your Majesty.", Brandish responded, "We're ready to face the threat."
"Good, our intel has stated the Fae will be here in 90 minutes, and so we need to establish a perimeter around every possible entryway they can use to enter Manhattan." Lucifer said before she noticed Modeus approaching her and whispering into her ear.
"I can take one of the Hell Knights with me and Samael…as an escort of course.", Modeus whispered with a slight giggle.
Lucifer groaned before addressing the Jubokko Company.
"Princess Modeus requires an escort for her and the Accuser…" Lucifer said in an annoyed tone. "Any volunteers?"
"I can go with them, Your Majesty.", Chax replied but then looked to her general, silently asking for his permission to go along with them despite him and the other generals seeing her interaction with Samael after the summit.
"You may go.", Chariot said, "But do not get distracted, we still have a duty to fulfill. So protect both of them at all costs."
"Yes sir.", Chax said as she gave him a salute before following Modeus, who continued to drag the Accuser by his arm.
"Have fun~!" Cerberus yipped.
"Oh, we will!", Modeus said back before turning her head back forward and exited Grand Central Station, with Chax walking next to Samael.

"Hmmm…not bad.", Chax said, "But I feel like you could look a lot better."
"Agreed.", Modeus said with a nod.
Samael sighed before going back into the stall and went to try on something else, all while thinking about the two ladies outside the stall.

"If you believe that would be best, General." Lucifer replied before looking through what appeared to be a journal.
"Understood, I'll put some of them on standby.", Chariot said as he got out his phone and got in contact with another captain of Jubokko Company.
"What can we expect from this attack?" The Helltaker asked.
"From what we know, we can expect that they'll not only bring in more of their golems, especially their larger ones, but also their soldiers that have a high affinity in magic such as the mages and clerics.", Pandemonica replied.
"We also have got word that they are upgrading their weapons and armour, so they'll be much harder to face than last week.", Brandish added.
"Then let's hope they get sloppy or don't bother with the upgrade…" Malina said as she downed a bottle of vodka.
"I doubt it, but we can only hope so.", Brandish said as he looked around him.
Cerberus started to run around in circles near their perimeter, chasing and grabbing at each other like a bunch of playful dogs. Those of Jubokko Company watched the Gatekeeper's antics, but those that were most distracted were Apoy and Siga, who were smiling under their masks as they found it somewhat adorable and amusing.
"Just like dogs, aren't they?" The Helltaker said. "But I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Why are they like this?"
"They used to be a singular being once apparently…" Malina commented.
"That's what I've heard about Cerberus as well.", Brandish said, "Though I never knew about why she split into the three."
"It's simple really. She was split into three so that way Lucifer can control her power.", Pandemonica answered.
"But surely she's strong enough to do so without splitting Cerberus into three, right?" The Helltaker asked.
"She's not a god, big guy, even she has limits.", Justice replied.
"I heard that!" Lucifer shouted.
"Sorry, Lucy, but I couldn't think of another way to say it.", Justice said while looking back at her with a shrug.
"Those three better hurry up and get back here, the Fae should be arriving soon…" Lucifer remarked in annoyance.
"They do seem to be taking longer than they should.", Pandemonica said in agreement.
"Go ahead and call Chax, Brandish.", Chariot ordered as he was done with the conversation he had over the phone, to which Brandish nodded and started to call Chax on his own phone before Chariot spoke up again, "Anyway Your Majesty, I do have extra Hell Knights on standby if the situation gets out of hand."
"Good, we'll need to ensure the safety of Manhattan's people." Lucifer said. "I will not allow their souls to be claimed by Avalon, souls that belong to Hell…"
"Indeed.", Chariot simply said while Zepar and the twins gave a nod, then Brandish looked back towards the group as he was done talking on the phone.
"Chax and the others should be coming back soon.", he said, informing everyone.
"Understood.", Chariot said.
"Let's see how long this takes…" Malina said as she downed a bottle of vodka.
"Hey, do you have any more bottles? I kinda want some too.", Brandish asked.
"Brandish, no drinking on the job, especially since we know an invasion is going to occur soon.", Chariot said sternly with Brandish only rolling his eyes underneath his mask.
"Maybe after the fight is done…" Malina said looking at her phone.
"Yeah, sure thing.", Brandish said with a smile, then suddenly glanced at Malina's breasts, not realising that he was being distracted.
Malina raised a brow at Brandish before she realised what he was staring at and blushed.
"Eyes are up here, moron, my puppies are for gamers only!"
"Heh, well I'll have you know I am certainly a gamer myself.", Brandish chuckled, "Go ahead and ask any of the Hell Knights, they'll tell you."
Apoy and Siga looked at Malina, nodding their heads in denial of their comrade's statement, while Zepar and Chariot felt no need to have an input.
"We'll see…" Malina said with a glare.
"Sure thing.", Brandish said, giving her a wink before looking back to where he originally was.
"Quite the ladies' man…" Lucifer said sarcastically.
"That title actually goes to someone else, though he's from a different unit, Your Majesty.", Brandish said, "I just so happened to get a nice view of your companion there."
"What are you getting at, Captain? That you wish to pleasure one of my girls?" Lucifer asked.
"Technically, no, Your Majesty.", Brandish replied, "But I guess when I get a good view, I can't really help myself."
"Looking at you more, you are quite the young handsome lad yourself…" Lucifer said, scanning Brandish.
"Heh…thanks, Your Majesty.", Brandish said while blushing underneath his mask.
"Damn Brandish, never thought you'd make an impression on Our Majesty.", both of the twins remarked.
"Shut up...", Brandish groaned.
"Maybe when all of this is over, I could play with you a little too~" Lucifer said, as she held Brandish's chin firmly with a sultry grin on her face, much to the Helltaker's surprise and jealousy.
"U-uhhh…", Brandish gulped as his face turned red underneath his mask, he was about to respond again, but then Justice spoke up.
"We could also have some time with the big guy, as well.", she said.
"I do mean this with all of my respect, Your Majesty, but I would like to focus on the threat that's going to appear soon.", Chariot said, then looked to his other soldiers, "The same goes for all of you."
"Of course, General.", Apoy and Siga said, while Zepar silently nodded again.
"Lucifer, were you being serious before…?" The Helltaker asked.
"You're still my number one minion, darling, you're irreplaceable to me~" Lucifer said, playing with the Helltaker's hair. "No one can make chocolate pancakes like you do~"
"And though you may not always get my coffee right, there is no one else like you, Taker.", Pandemonica said as she went to his side.
"T-T-Thanks girls…" The Helltaker said, scratching his head.
"No problem at all.", Pandemonica said before giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Aw shucks…" The Helltaker said blushing.
"They're coming! They're coming!" Cerberus shouted as they arrived back to the others.
"The Fae? They've arrived?" The Helltaker asked.
"If that is the case, then everyone should get ready.", Chariot stated as he got out both of his sickles, with the other Hell Knights drawing their own weapons as well.
Justice cracked her knuckles and Pandemonica stretched her arms before her horns grew, and her eyes became slit, turning to the Sadistic Demon.
"Let's hope those three get back soon…" Malina said in a dry tone as he threw away the empty vodka bottle she was holding.
"I hope so too.", Brandish said in agreement, summoning multiple firearms from the back of his trenchcoat and making them float near him while holding an assault rifle in his hands.
Lucifer readied herself, with the Helltaker brandishing his knife while Cerberus stopped and got in front of him.
"Which way are they coming from, Cerb?", Justice asked.
Cerberus sniffed the air before turning to their right and growling. The Hell Knights walked in front of the others, facing the direction of the incoming threat and were ready to fight.
"Here we go again…", Brandish mumbled with a slight grin under his mask.
The sound of a thousand footsteps could be heard alongside the war cries of the warriors of Avalon. Soon enough, the Fae came into view for Lucifer and her forces, seeing what looked to be more golems which had different designs and more weapons attached to them. The people nearby were shocked at the appearance of the Fae, with most of them taking out their phones and starting filming as if it was second nature. But then the Fae started to attack the nearby civilians with their weapons and magic, only then did the people start fleeing in the opposite direction. Chariot was the first Hell Knight to attack in retaliation by dashing towards one of the elves with two quick slashes of his sickles, with the first strike taking off their arm that was holding their weapon then followed up with a slash straight across the throat, opening up a large wound before that Fae collapsed onto the ground. He then continued the fight by charging at the other elves nearby. Zepar and Justice then soon followed up by taking on the large trolls, working in tandem by taking turns to attack and block before taking them down. Meanwhile, Brandish and the twins then started to shoot magic and fireballs respectively to provide covering fire, taking out some Fae before they put up magical barriers and fired their own magic back at them.
Several heavily armed golems and trolls began rushing towards Lucifer, who raised her arms into the air and rained down several comet shaped blasts on them, reducing many of the fortified Fae and their weapons to rubble and gore. Cerberus began to move at blinding speeds, quickly dodging what looked like missiles made from crystals and some heat based ore, then lunged at one of the golems to knock it down before prying it open with their bare hands to pull out the pilot. Elven warriors then started to attack Pandemonica and Helltaker, to which the Sadistic Demon evaded their sword swings, disappearing before reappearing to counter them with kicks and punches hard enough to knock them back and sometimes put dents or even broke the armour she struck. The Helltaker quickly weaved around an Elven warrior who tried to attack him from the side before slashing them across the chest with his demonic knife then dodged another attack from a new warrior before hitting them with a strong right hook that sent them crashing through a nearby window.
"Wow, certainly wasn't expecting the mortal to fight as well!", Brandish said surprised as he looked behind him before turning back towards a group of goblins and summoned a couple of rocket launchers, blowing the goblins up into a red mist shortly afterwards.
After Justice pummelled a troll with her fists, a golem that was as big as the one they had encountered a week ago, was teleported several feet away from the group and it also appeared with upgrades like the other golems. It then swung at the tall buildings by using a large blade made of energy, with the top part of the first building crash into the one right next to it and the debris fell into the streets below, killing and injuring civilians in the process. The large golem then turned to the group of demons and started to attack them with magic beams coming from its fingers, to which they dodged around it and even caused some friendly fire. Brandish immediately countered with his own gunfire but they had no effect on the golem as the points of impact briefly glowed green.
"Shit, must be some kind of force field!", Apoy exclaimed.
"The golem must have a shield tome inside it." Lucifer said before he telekinetically lifted a large group of trolls and started to incinerate them all with a red energy wave, reducing them to a pile of burnt bones and flesh.
"We should destroy it as soon as possible.", Chariot stated as he cut one of the elves in half, but then the golem that swung its large blade down towards Lucifer, he quickly eyed the closest Hell Knight near to her and called out to them, "Zepar!"
The crimson Hell Knight quickly made his way towards the Queen of Hell and used his right arm to catch the incoming blade just in time, pushing back against the tremendous force that the golem was still using to try and hit Lucifer. The twins were in awe as they saw their other captain holding against the blade of the giant golem, with the Fae being in a state of disbelief as a demon was powerful enough to not only withstand the force of their upgraded golem but also push back against it.
"How's that even possible?!", one of them exclaimed before trying to fire a magic blast at Zepar, however Brandish was able to shoot them in the head first, and provided covering fire for his comrade that was still holding back the large blade.
"Kill them!", another shouted as they charged towards Brandish, but this time had a small magic shield while running towards him.
The golem then started to continuously swing its blade at Zepar, to which he kept blocking it in order to protect the Queen of Hell. Lucifer simply glanced at Zepar before she moved towards the battle while telekinetically lifting and tearing apart several goblins that attacked her without much effort. Justice continued to fight the trolls, going through them one by one with punches and kicks hard enough to knock them into the nearby buildings or in the air. Malina, who had not yet struck a blow, was just watching the carnage while drinking more vodka though she saw a troll and some goblins move towards her in the corner of her eye.
"Four against one…now does that sound fair to you…?" She muttered with a groan before ducking out of the way of the troll's club.
The Sour Demon then dodged a few swings from one of the goblins before she extended her fingers out with long black claws coming out of her fingertips. Malina quickly swiped at the goblin's neck, causing blood to spray out of the cut as they fell to the ground. One other goblin pulled out their crossbow and shot an arrow at Malina, but she caught the arrow in mid-flight with her other hand that had grown black claws as well.
"Seriously? I took out my claws for this?" Malina remarked, before she moved towards the goblin and stabbed her clawed hand through their chest before pulling it out, making the goblin fall to the ground in a puddle of their own blood. "Now I have Fae blood on my hands…so fucking annoying…"
"You'll pay for that, demon!", a goblin shouted as he thrust his spear towards her.
Malina side-stepped the spear before she threw her empty vodka bottle at the goblin's face, smashing it on impact and covering them in shards of glass. That goblin then tumbled onto the ground, dropping his spear while screaming as he felt the shards on his face and in his eyes. Malina gritted her teeth in anger before she began to violently stomp on the goblin's face repeatedly.
"Fucking pussy! Shut up and die already!" Malina shouted, attracting the attention of her allies who could see her somewhat bratty method of killing and brutalising the goblin. "I could have been watching the Heroes 3 livestream, but no! I got curious and decided to tag along, and now I'm stomping on some stupid goblin who can't take a bottle to the face to save his own life!"
"Well, it certainly seems as though she's having a fun time.", Pandemonica chuckled before turning back to block a swing the club of another troll.
"A little too much fun if you ask me…", Apoy remarked before turning back to help Siga deal with Elven mages that were using water and fire magic to try and combat the twins.
Chariot noticed Malina but didn't focus too much on her as he continued to fight the Fae he himself was encountering. But Brandish looked at her with wide eyes, as he did not think that Malina would fight and brutalise the way that she's doing. He also rather found it to be somewhat attractive but with a little less blood and guts in mind. His attention was focused back to his foes as an arrow deflected off of the side of his mask and some of his floating guns were destroyed by magic blasts while trying to avoid them. He chuckled before summoning more guns to float right next to him and began firing back. Malina finished off the goblin with one last stomp, crushing their skull and head into brain matter before she quickly rolled out of the way of a troll, landing next to Brandish before she stood up and looked at the Hell Knight Captain.
"Saw what you were doing back there!", Brandish said while continuing to fire his guns at the Fae that were shooting at him, "Never expected it from you to be honest!"
Malina quickly lifted Brandish's mask halfway and then planted her lips on his, holding it for a few seconds as she wrestled his tongue with her own. Brandish's face went red as she did so, as this was even more unexpected, but he just let this happen and put an arm around her as they held the kiss while blindly shooting at the Fae. Malina then broke the kiss as she dodged an incoming Elven sword before she dug her clawed hand into the neck of the wielder and tore out their throat. The Walking Arsenal put his mask back down and saw that a golem was aiming its palm at the both of them. He quickly summoned a large metal shield and got in front of Malina before the golem had fired its magic projectile, bracing for the impact of the incoming blast. The shot had connected with the shield and it was strong enough to push Brandish back, but it deflected off of the shield while still dealing significant damage against it, as the shield itself had large, visible cracks.
"Shit…", Brandish mumbled as he tossed the shield aside, "We're definitely going to have to dodge and take that thing out."
"When this is over, you're going to help me let off some steam…got that?" Malina asked Brandish, having a sexually bothered and angry expression.
"Sure thing, beautiful.", he replied before summoning another rocket launcher to shoot the golem that just shot at him, only to see that the golem had blocked his shot with a small magic shield it conjured from its hand, "Fucks sake, it looks like it's time to do this the hard way. You wanna take this son of a bitch down with me?"
"Fine by me!" Malina replied as she started sprinting.
He then dashed towards the golem while dodging the shots from both the golem and other Fae, but still shot back at them as well, trying to give Malina covering fire. The guns that were floating by him were destroyed or disabled in the process, being shot down by the Fae. He frustratingly summoned more guns before running towards the golem once more, continuing to try and gun down the Fae. Malina had dodged a few shots from the golem before she leapt towards it and tried to sink her claws into its arm. Unlike the large golem, however, it seemed as though the defenses on its body were more limited and her claws were able to penetrate through its arm. The golem still used its other arm to punch Malina off of it, though the Sour Demon soon recovered and then breathed a large stream of fire out of her mouth that engulfed the golem in flames.
"Oh shit! You really have many tricks up your sleeve, huh?", Brandish exclaimed in amazement while still continuing to shoot the Fae that was assisting the golem, who was then blindly firing its magic projectiles.
Malina weaved around a few of the magic projectiles and then quickly pushed the golem towards Brandish in order for him to get a clean shot. The Hell Knight then brought out an anti-tank rifle and shot at the golem's chest, taking out the pilot who was caught off guard at the surprisingly powerful push that was forced upon the golem. The golem then collapsed on the city streets before the remaining Fae nearby then charged at both him and The Sour Demon, drawing their swords or continued to shoot magic at them.
"Annoying bastards!" Malina yelled as she let loose another powerful flame breath on the incoming Fae.
Some of them were caught in the flames and were set on fire, while the rest of them used a magical barrier to defend against it. As the flame breath ended, Elven and goblin warriors charged at the two, with Brandish shooting some of them before summoning his longsword and quickly blocked a blade that was about to slash at his chest. He then immediately countered by trying to hit the Fae warrior on the side but they too blocked his attack before being shot in the face by one of Brandish's floating guns.
"Ha! Bet they thought they had me there!", Brandish retorted before dodging a club swing from a troll before killing them by putting multiple holes through their chest.
In the distance on top of a building where one could observe the current battle between demons and Fae, a lone figure stood. They were a beautiful female with faded green skin and dark green long hair with blue glowing eyes and wore a combat appropriate dress made of leaves, vines and branches and pieces of lightweight armour with runes engraved in them. She watched the ongoing battle, analysing each of the demons present and was certainly surprised at some of their abilities.
"This is going to be harder than we thought.", the Dryad said to herself, "The red one is more powerful than the intel we got from the attack on Vice City, but especially the Queen of Hell is going to be the most difficult to fight against. I just hope we can weaken them enough so that way we have more time to further develop our technology…"
"High Ranger, what is our next move?" A male voice asked from behind the Dryad.
"We should split up our forces and attack the humans.", the Dryad replied as she still looked at the battle, "This will force the demons to split up and then from there I will go after one and kill them myself."
"As you wish, ma'am." The male voice said as they barked out orders in Fae tongue.
The attacking forces of the Fae then split up into groups, firing their magic at the civilians and destroying buildings along the way. Chariot noticed this after he slashed through several goblins and notified Lucifer.
"Your Majesty, the Fae are splitting up.", he said, "Should we go after them or stay with you?"
"Go after them, but ensure our defenses remain stable." Lucifer ordered.
"Understood.", Chariot said, "Hell Knights, split up but make sure you don't go too far!"
"Roger that!", the Hell Knights nearby said, with Apoy and Siga taking on a group of standard soldiers while Zepar continued to stay and fight with the large golem.
"Hey, do you wanna come with me?", Brandish asked Malina as he was shooting at one group that was splitting up, "Or you can stay here if you want. Your choice."
"I'll stay here." Malina replied. "Go get 'em."
"Sure thing!", Brandish said before running to go after the group he was shooting at.
Chariot also went after another group of the Fae, swiftly making his way towards them while imbuing magic into his sickles. Meanwhile, Justice finished off the trolls that were nearby before sensing that the Fae were splitting off into groups, but she decided to stay after sensing an aura that was different from the other Fae.
"I'll stay with you, Lucy!", Justice stated, "Someone among the Fae is not like the others."
"So do I….there is a High Fae in the city…." Lucifer said.
"We should warn the others as well, just in case.", Justice said.
"Agreed." Lucifer said, nodding. "There is a High Fae among us! Keep your guard up and tread carefully on the battlefield!"
"Understood, Your Majesty!", the Hell Knights replied, before going back to fighting with the Fae they were engaging with.
"We could still use some help from Modeus, Samael, and Chax!", Pandemonica stated after she tore a troll in half and disarmed another one that swung its club at her.
"Let's hope they get back soon!" The Helltaker yelled before dodging the sword of a goblin and proceeded to stab them several times with his demonic knife.
"They should be here with us soon!", Justice stated as she punched an elf in the face before kicking them into a group of others behind them while shattering the first one's chest plate, "I can sense that they are closer than before!"
This whole time, Zepar was still dealing with the large golem that has been causing chaos in the area for those that haven't left where the Fae forces were initially deployed, dodging magic blasts from its runes in addition to blocking its giant blade from striking Lucifer and the others. The large golem stepped back and prepared to swing at the Crimson Vanguard yet again, however in the blink of an eye it was hit and blown back a few feet by what looked like a yellow comet.
"It's Samael!", Justice said, "And the other two are coming up as well!"
Chax and Modeus were then seen riding on top of the same horse that Chax had conjured up last week, a horse made of volcanic rock and flew with flaming wings, others were flying right next to them. The horses then breathed a combination of fire and molten magma at the Fae, burning them alive and forcing those quick enough to bring out a magical barrier.
"Sorry we're late!", Modeus called out.
"What took you so fucking long?!" Malina shouted.
"It was hard to find good clothes for him!", Modeus replied as she jumped off the horse and landed on her feet, taking out a large sledgehammer out of nowhere, "But we're here now aren't we?"
"I guess that's a fair point." The Helltaker said as he uppercut a goblin before kicking them across the road.
The giant golem tried its best to prevent itself from falling over, and soon anchored itself by sprouting roots that hooked into the ground. The yellow comet had disappeared and on a building opposite the giant golem stood Samael. He had a black trench coat with yellow trimming and motif, black fingerless gloves, black pants with three yellow belts and black boots with yellow soles. He also was wearing black shades with yellow frames. He didn't wear a shirt and instead exposed his well built torso which also showed a few yellow markings on his body though maybe it was to attract others, specifically those of the female variety.
"Well…that certainly looks good on you.", Pandemonica complemented with a grin as she punched through a troll's chest before kicking them away.
"I know right?", Modeus said with a blush spread across her face before slamming her sledgehammer onto a goblin.
"Looks like the fight has already started. Good thing I made it back in time, because I'm about to unleash some pain…" Samael stated as his body glowed a slight yellow, his power being felt across the entire city block.
"Oh damn…", Justice chuckled as she felt Samael's energy.
All the Fae in the area became quite nervous or frightened by this display of power, except for the High Dryad though.
"Hmm. It seems as though we have someone that's unaccounted for.", she said to herself as she looked to where the sudden energy came from, "No matter, we will take care of him. If not by me, then by another one of us."
Samael smirked as he lunged into the fight, striking head-on towards the giant golem.
