While cleaning the attic, Mike stumbles across his old university chest and discovers a couple items, bringing back happy memories of his time with Randall. So technology won't be as modern.

After Randall's loss, Johnny goes to punish the lizard for his failures and shaming his fraternity. But Mike, who can't stand to see his former roommate get attacked, he alongside Sulley come to the lizard's aid. Revealing that even after their fallout, the aspiring Scarer still considered them friends and wanted to make things right between them.

Three monster girls help their two friends get a human girl back to her closet before the evil Randall and Waternoose and they have what it takes to help the girl back to her home. Can they do help the little human girl get back to her home?

Working on the Scream Extractor one night, Fungus appeals to Randall and discovers the pain and loss his partner has suffered over the years, while also showing some compassion and care towards the lizard, opening Randall's eyes back up and letting him know it's not too late to change things, while also letting him know that he does, in fact, have a friend.

Randall's back from his banishment and recovering in the hospital. Mike, feeling guilty over what happened, goes to visit Randall, as the two of them open up and Mike gives comfort and compassion to the now broken monster, mending the friendship between them.

Mike reflects back on what happened between him, Randall, and Sulley and how he feels remorse and regret for what happened to his former best friend and how he wishes he could've prevented what came.
