Chapter 1: Still Talking and Sudden Wedding plus the Adoption Process

The two British Magicals and the Avengers were still talking about what to when Tony suddenly said, "If I have to I will marry Pepper right now plus do the adoption process right now as well. I will not let Harriet go back to that abuse that she has suffered!"

Pepper blushed and was shocked at the same time.

"Mr. Stark, I'm not sure you understand." Amelia said.

"Then enlighten me, Madam Bones." Tony said.

"Harriet has to attend Hogwarts for seven years. Also, the name of her soulmate will appear on her wrist at a certain time. Will be able to handle that?" Kingsly asked.

"Whoever her soulmate becomes will have to face me and Pepper as well as everyone else in this room." Tony stated, "And if I am not mistaken, you two are out of your jurisdiction."

Amelia sighed and said, "I guess we should contact the Magical Congress of America."

Kingsly nodded.

Harriet spoke once again saying, "Already consider Tony my father and Pepper my mother; the rest of the Avengers are my aunts and uncles."

Kingsly looked at Harriet and said, "Miss Potter..." Harriet interrupted him by saying, "Kingsly, please understand that I would be able to train at Hogwarts in magic but during the Summer I will train with my father and his team. Plus, whoever my soulmate ends up being; I'll even train with him."

Tony blinked for a moment and then chuckled.

"What's so funny, Tony?" Steve questioned.

"Well, Harriet sounded just like Pepper when I have forgotten to do something when I get busy working on one my projects down my lab of sorts." Tony stated.

"Sir there's a woman claiming to be from Magical Congress of America?"

"Let her in, Jarvis." Tony stated.

"Yes, sir."

Harriet was sitting beside by Pepper now but she was yawning and started to fall asleep; Pepper couldn't really blame her after the day she had. Plus, Tony had called Fury to have one of S.H.I.E.L.D's doctor to check her out because she hadn't let go of Tony until they had gotten to the tower from what she could tell.

The woman entered the room nearly fainted at seeing Tony and Pepper next to Miss Potter and said with a stutter, "Lord and Lady Potter, you're alive?!"

Pepper blinked.

Then Tony spoke, "With all do respect, ma'am...my name is Anthony Edward Stark but Tony for short and the lady with Harriet is Pepper Potts. I'm going to tell you like a told those two British Magicals; I'm willing to marry Pepper as well as adopt Harriet Potter. However, I have a feeling that this will happen constantly because we resemble the Potters somehow."

The woman blinked and then said, "Is it possible that maybe that you are a very distant relative of James Potter and Miss Potts a distant relative of Lily Potter?"

"To be honest, we're trying to figure that as well." A voice said.

Everyone turned to see Agent Phil Coulson along with Fury.

"Who are you?" The woman asked.

"Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D and it was Loki that brought Miss Potter here unexpectedly buy she's attached to Stark and Potts." Fury said.

"Agent Coulson? Fury?" Tony nodded.

"Stark, did I hear correctly? You're willing going get hitch and adopt Miss Potter?" Fury questioned.

Tony looked at Fury and said, "You heard correctly, Director."

"Stark, we brought a doctor to take a look at Miss Potter." Coulson stated.

"Go with Pepper. And Agent, if the doctor harms my little girl; I will personally deal with him." Tony stated like an over protective father already.

Phil just nodded.

"Meanwhile, we have to prepare for a secret quick wedding and adoption." Fury stated.

The Avengers decided to start decorating the tower for the wedding, while Tony went to go check on Harriet before he went to get dressed to marry Pepper.

Moments later, Tony and Pepper were married and the adoption papers signed which meant that Harriet was now Harriet Jayme Selene Potter-Stark; daughter of Tony and Pepper Stark.

Meanwhile, back in England...

Dudley had watched the fight that happened in New York when he saw Iron Man flying with a girl in his arms and shouted, "MUM!"

"What is it, Dudinms?" Petunia said.

"The freak is in New York." Dudley said.

"How did she get there?" Petunia questioned.

"They're saying a man named Loki kidnapped her and the Avengers rescued her." Dudley said.

Petunia looked at her son said, "Well, I don't really care."

Dudley looked at his Mum for a moment and then said, "They are also saying that Tony Stark married secretly and adopted the girl secretly."

"So?" Petunia said.

"Well, the freak is now the daughter of billionaire and CEO of Stark Industries, Tony Stark also known as Iron Man!" Dudley said.

Petunia paled as she recalled that Vernon's company was trying to get a contract with Stark Industries.

Back in New York 3 weeks later...

Harriet began her training as well as her muggle education online. She was finally happy that she had family that cared and loved her.

She got up early and went to the gym that her father had at the tower.

"Good Morning, Miss Stark."

"Good Morning, Jarvis. Is dad up?" Harriet asked.

"Not yet, Miss Stark. Shall I wake him?"

"I'm sure the smell of freshly brewed coffee will wake him and Mum. What's on Dad's on schedule for today?" Harriet questioned.

"He has a meeting with a British Company called Grunnings; I believe."

Harriet started heaving that Jarvis immediately alerted both Tony and Pepper.

Tony and Pepper immediately ran to the gym and they were followed by the other Avengers.

"Princess?" Tony said.

"Harriet?" Pepper said.

They both ran towards her and they saw that she was having a panic attack.

"Jarvis, what happened?!" Tony demanded.

"Miss Stark asked what you were doing today and I said that you had a meeting with a British Company called Grunnings."

Tony realized what this meant and that was that he would be doing business with the male abuser which was Petunia's husband. It also meant that, he would meet the man who was mostly responsible for his daughter's condition from outside of the Magical World.

"Harriet?" Tony said finally.

Harriet looked at her father.

"Listen kiddo, if it helps Hawkeye and Steve will go with me to the meeting; so we can see his reaction and tell you about it. Pepper will also be there." Tony said.

Harriet sighed and asked, "Dad, may I accompany you to the meeting? I mean eventually I'll have to face the fact that I can't let the fear of him control me anymore."

Tony smiled and so did Pepper then the both nodded.

"Have you finished your school work online?" Pepper asked.

"Yes, Mum and I was doing some fitness when I asked Jarvis about what was on Dad's schedule today." Harriet answered.

Later that day...

Tony, Pepper, and Harriet along with Clint and Steve headed to Stark Industries for the meeting but first Tony decided to take detour in order to have Harriet's eyes checked and get the correct prescription of glasses that were very stylish.

When they finished with that, Tony decided to get her some new clothes and things then have it delivered to Stark Tower which he was considering to call it Avengers Tower.

They arrived at Stark Tower a little bit before the meeting to get everything ready. Then it was time for the meeting and Harriet was standing with her adoptive parents but she called them Mum and Dad and called Steve and Clint uncle.

Tony and the others heard Harriet take a deep breath and then exhale. They knew that she was nervous.

Moments later...

Vernon Dursley arrived with his boss at Stark Industries unaware that his wife's niece had been adopted by Tony Stark himself and was considered the Stark heiress.

He was shocked to Mr. Stark because he almost favored his dead brother in law and the woman standing next him favored his dead sister-in-law, but there was no denying that the little girl standing between them was his freak of a niece.

"Mr. Stark, may I ask who this little lady is that is standing between you and your wife?" Vernon's boss asked curiously.

Tony chuckled and said, "This is my adoptive daughter, Harriet but she likes to called either Jayme or Selene or even Harri at times. However, I call her Princess."

Vernon paled.

"Who are the two gentlemen with you and your family if I may ask?" Vernon's boss asked.

"This is Captain Steve Rogers aka Captain America and this is Clint Barton aka Hawkeye. My daughter sees them as uncles." Tony answered.

Vernon paled once more.

"Mr. Stark, may I ask about your daughter?" Vernon's boss questioned.

Tony smirked a little and said, "She's originally from Great Britain but was kidnapped by Loki that caused the trouble here in New York. Myself, my wife, and the Avengers decided to take her to medical help since she became dramatized by the whole thing. However, we also found out that her previous guardians had abused both mentally and physically."

Vernon's boss was stunned to hear this and said, "That's horrible, Mr. Stark."

"Yeah, it is but worse part is that my daughter's abuser works within your company and I won't sign any contracts that has a child abuser working in their ranks." Tony stated.

Vernon was getting paler by the second but he was also getting angry.

Vernon's boss gasped at the accusation and said, "Mr. Stark, I will personally find the abuser and see to it that he or she is fired."

"Good. My daughter had dual citizenship because she is both an American Citizen and British Citizen. She'll eventually be returning to her boarding school in Scotland in September, but for now she does her studies online during the Summer plus the Avengers love to teach her as well." Tony stated.

Clint and Steve could see as well as Pepper and Tony could that Vernon Dursley was starting to lose it. However, they were surprised that he kept his composure throughout the conversation.
