Phantom didn't know where he came from. He'd gathered, in small scraps of knowledge from others, that this was normal. You forgot things, when you died, when you became a ghost, when you gave up what you were in exchange for what you could do. It followed that Phantom must have died.

Its been 5 years since Jazz purposely became a Half-ghost. Danny still doesn't understand why. It makes no sense to him. So he finally asks: Why? This lightly mentions/implies suicide and death. Spin off from my other oneshot Now or Never.

Jazz realizes Danny hasn't aged since the accident, and never will. So she does something unthinkable to make sure her baby brother doesn't have to be alone. It may trigger those sensitive to topics about death and suicide, due to the way it was written.
