Disclaimer: I do not own Warhammer or FoZ. Also, I probable don't know as much as I should about FoZ lore so if I bugger it up at any point feel free to give me an earful. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

A.N: Right first to explain some of my decisions. First the reason Louise hasn't gone instant evil from getting a daemon is because, personally, I think that kind of story's are a bit stupid, and story reason, is because Louise's void soul would just devour any corruption of the soul.

Second, when it comes to Warhammer magic in FoZ, here's what I'm doing, the warp is connected to all worlds so the 8 basic winds of magic (WoM) blow there. But Brimir only discovered 4, being fire (winds of fire), earth (rudimentary version of the winds of metal, moving the tiny bits of metal in the earth), wind (again rudimentary winds of heavens), and water (closest wind I can find is lore of deeps with a bit of life magic thrown in). I'm only going to give Louise advanced spell due to my reasoning of her being unable to control the magic she puts in her spells.

Final thing, the staff of destruction is something I thought of myself, so you won't find it in any Warhammer lore, I had difficulty finding a powerful staff that could end up in the FoZ world, so I made my own.

Also need opinions on if I should make void magic the lost lore of the Old Ones (the magic Lord Kroak uses AKA lore of time and space). It has explosions for Louise and Joseph (Deliverance of Itza), old one magic was used to make the stellar gates so that's world door for the pope, and they were well versed in shaping minds (when making the majority the species of Warhammer fantasy) for Tiffania. This is probably going to be the case but want opinions anyway.

A Pact with Ancient Gods

Chapter 5: A New Mystery

It was midnight and Louise had just gone to sleep after performing the Final transmutation spell for the first, granted it only changed an iron ring to brass but to perform such an advanced metal spell within a few hours was astonishing to the trickster. After making sure his charge was asleep, he slipped out into the night, in search for to make a fool of while learning the layout of this facility.

After a few minutes of floating through corridors he heard hushed voices around the corner. When he rounded the corner, he discovered two young mortals. One was a blond with a white shirt covered in frills with a black cape hanging on his shoulders. In his arms was a brown-haired girl in a white shirt and with a brown cape on her back. The changeling sensed an opportunity for some mischief broguing he just had to wait for the right moment.

"Katie, I have a gift for you this night." Said the boy in a sweet voice while handing over a small bottle.

"Oh lord Guiche, thank you so much." The now named Katie said as she took to bottle from Guiche.

Before the conversation could continue Guiche noticed a faint blue mist coming from around the corner. The next moment the source of the mist was revealed to be the cloaked for of Louises familiar, the mist was coming out of the bottom of his robes. The Changeling if Guiche remembered correctly, just floated by their spot down the corridor without acknowledging him or Katie.

"Hey familiar, why do you not show acknowledgement to your betters." Challenged Guiche. The being stopped in its tracks and slowly turned around.

"You misunderstand mortal, I do acknowledge my betters, but it appears that none of them are here currently." Before Guiche could retort the Changeling shot off down the hallway without making a sound.

{--}

About half an hour later the Changeling entered a large courtyard. Then from a door further down the wall came a woman dressed as a maid, carrying a basket of cloths. She had short black hair with fair skin and blue eyes. At first the changeling thought nothing on it but moments later she fell over, and what the daemon saw piqued their interest. An amulet of gold, fell into view, but the most notable thing about the amulet was the symbol upon it. It was a circle with 4 lines crossing over the centre of the circle, and out the top came a single point. The symbol for the winds of light. Slowly the Changeling made his way over the downed girl.

As Siesta continued top pick up the clothes she dropped, she felt a presence behind her. Turned around Siesta yelped in fright at the blue cloaked being floating above her. Then she remembered that this was the familiar of the young Valiere.

"Do you require some assistance?" Asked the being.

"N-No I'm ok, its nothing that hasn't happened before." said Siesta trying to calm her beating heart. Before she knew it, she was looking at a perfect copy of herself picking up the clothes.

"What are you doing?" Asked Siesta as she looked at the copy work.

"Well, you said you could handle this yourself, but you didn't say you two of yourself can't pick up the cloths." It was freaky to hear a perfect copy of her voice but instead of more questions she just joined the familiar.

"So where did you get that nice amulet?" This being could be trouble in the future, so all information was needed to form a proper plan. Upon hearing the question Siesta looked down and stuffed the amulet back down the neck of her uniform.

"I-It was a gift from my great-grandfather before he passed, he said it was given to him by his school when he graduated. I never knew why he gave it to me out of all of my family, I guess it was because I was his special little light. My names Siesta by the way, what's yours?" They had just finished with the clothes and in the blink of an eye the familiar was back in its form.

"You may simply call my Changeling, Siesta. It's been a very enlightening talk, until next time." And before she could reply Changeling was flying off.

As he flew the Changeling thought. So, a wizard of the light college somehow got onto this world, and out of all his family gave his symbol of office to Siesta. Another mystery to solve, this world is such a fun place to be in.
