Disclaimer: I do not own Warhammer or FoZ. Also, I probable don't know as much as I should about FoZ lore so if I bugger it up at any point feel free to give me an earful. Constructive criticism is always welcome.
A.N: First want to say sorry for this taking a bit longer to do, had spent a few days trying to find ages for lizardmen for my other story (Which took way longer than it should have), but should be more consistent now.
But on another note, to a Mr or Mrs TrollolPenguin thank you for the idea bringing the bone daddy in, but nothing to do with Nagash will be in this soon, to game changing this early on IMO. With that said, let us continue the journey of bitchy pink head and the blueberry menace.
A Pact with Ancient Gods
Chapter 9: The Next Message
After the Changeling had left the courtyard Kirche directed her gaze back to Louise only to find her disappearing round a corner.
For Louise her goal right now was simple, get back to her room as fast as possible. Within the bag at her side the tome was gentle shaking and the symbol on the front was pulsing with light. Behind her she could hear Kirche calling her and given that the calls weren't getting quieter she was following her, so picking up her pace to a jog shall climbed the tower to her room.
A few minutes later Louise arrived at her door, after entering she quickly locked it. Setting the tome onto the table, she sat down opened it and waited. After a few moments words began to appear again, and she began to read them out again.
"I have been keeping an eye on you and must say I'm surprised the four offered you such an appealing set of being. And I'd say you picked wisely. But other matters have come up." Louise started thinking of things she may have done wrong while the next words formed.
"You need to earn favour from the other three, to do this you will need to offer them certain things that correspond with their nature. For Nurgle, offer him an alchemy ingredient he has never used before. For Khorne either an act of extreme bloodlust or a skull of someone worthy of a high position on the skull throne. Slaanesh will be the hardest to provide for, they desire sensations, pleasure or pain, emotional or physical it matters not, only that it is unique. But be warned never demand things from them, it won't end well for you, trust me on that. That is all for now, I look forward to our next chat." And with that said all the words suddenly disappeared and the book slammed shut startling Louise.
Before she could contemplate on things to offer a loud banging suddenly came from the door, followed by a tired sounding Kirche.
"Open … the door … Louise." Demanded a muffled Kirche between breaths. Sighing Louise hid the tome, and opened the door. Kirche immediately pushed past Louise and collapsing on her bed, ignoring her protests, Tabitha followed behind and sat herself upon a chair still reading a book.
"How is it … one as small as you … can move so far … so fast?" Grumbled Kirche, still trying to catch her breath.
"Because I've never used to had successes with my spells, I didn't have the luxury of flying everywhere, its good exercise." That made sense to Kirche, but one bit caught her attention, but Tabitha beat her to it.
"Used to?" Tabitha had put her book down at this, then her eye caught a glint of light reflecting of something shiny. Before Louise could stop her, she pulled out a quill of solid gold. Kirche instantly appeared by her side, her previous exhaustion now forgotten in the face of the golden feather.
"Surely this wasn't you Louise, I mean it this time with no offense, but to go from constant explosions to turning something to solid gold is incredibly unlikely." Even though it hurt a bit, Louise had to admit she was right. She knew exactly why she could do spells now, because of the Changelings method.
"How about this, instead of trying to explain it, should I just show you?" After a brief look between each other Tabitha and Kirche both nodded. Louise went past them and rummaged through her desk before pulling out a quill. Taking out her wand, Louise began to follow the steps she was told.
To her onlookers, she just appeared to just be pointing her wand with her eyes closed, then in the same manner as her familiar, only this time it was a rust brown colour.
"Final transmutation." She spoke, and the feather started shifting to gold before their eyes, but instead of the particles simple flowing away as they had seen before, the sea of colour shot towards Louises body before condensing into a light blue mist. In an instant the mist burst out knocking everyone to the ground and scattering all the objects is the room in every direction.

The Changeling
From across the academy's grounds the Daemon felt the familiar backlash of a miss casted spell. He quietly began to chuckle to himself knowing exactly who it was, much to the confusion of the two men guiding him.

Louise's Room
Three sets of groans came from all over the floor as the three girls slowly rose back up.
"Nicely going Louise, at least your more creative with you failed explosions now." Grumbled Kirche as she pushed several books of herself.
"Not failure." Spoke Tabitha as got up with a second golden feather in her hands.
"No way, she actually did it?! I suppose your no longer a zero huh Louise." Exclaimed a dumbfounded Kirche.
"I told you I could, although that explosion hasn't ever happened before." Louise started to think.
"Well enjoy your contemplations, Tabitha and I shall be off to continue practising for the event." Kirche and Tabitha were now making their way to her door.
"Wait. Practicing for what event?" Both turned and gave her a quick stare of disbelief.
"So you genuinely forgot. The familiar Exabition in two days, what else?" The look that formed upon Louise's face was almost comical.
"Eh"
