AN. I thought it best these two were a little younger than the show version so I took 10 years off them. Also something that maybe I should have pointed out at the start, I don't go to the gym or box so.. Haha
Olivia spends her Sunday lounging around the apartment guilt free. Her texts to Elliot were the first thing she had thought of when she had opened her eyes but as she turned and saw the bed next to her empty yet again she realised she didn't care anymore. She wasn't going to feel guilty for getting attention from somewhere else.
She had made Noah promise to call her at least once a week and Sundays being a quiet day at camp he had spent nearly an hour on the phone before his friends had called him off. He seemed to be doing well but more surprisingly so was she. She had thought she'd be a mess but she was definitely keeping herself distracted. Though maybe not in an acceptable way. She was still thinking of other things to do, she couldn't spend all her time thinking of her personal trainer. Even if it sounded like a good idea.
She'd seen Trevor around the apartment. He would normally give himself a few hours off on a sunday that he tended to spend with Noah but after last night she didn't even waste her time trying to speak to him. He owed her an apology and an explanation and until she got them she might as well live alone. He went by happily ignoring her and while that would have made her angry or upset before, she was now just thankful that it didn't make her feel anything.
As she lay on the sofa watching some lame netflix comedy her mind drifts back to Elliot until she can no longer resist the urge to pick up her phone and text him.
I'm laying here eating a whole box of chocolates to myself. When are you free to help me work them off?
She figures it was flirty enough while still asking for him professionally.
I can be at your place in half an hour if you want me to do it the fun way or I can do tuesday at 1? I know which id I prefer.
So do I. She practically groans out loud at his offer. She wonders if Trevor would even care if she brought another man to the house, probably best not to test it though.
Tuesday will do just fine. I don't want you getting too ahead of yourself.
It's too late for that. If she'd have said yes he'd have been out of that door in seconds. He can't believe how much he wants this woman and not just in a physical way. Just her smile makes him weak and he doesn't know what to do with that feeling. He was nearly fifty years old and the definition of a bachelor. Never married, no kids, no real relationships. He was a lone wolf and he had always liked that but she had him feeling lonely.
Looking forward to it.

Tuesday comes around at a painfully slow speed for both of them. Elliot at least has work to pass the time but Liv was bored. She ended up going for a jog on Monday which is something she'd never done before but the thought of him spurred her on. The more she exhausted herself today the earlier she would sleep and the quicker tomorrow would come she told herself. She felt like a kid on christmas eve. After her run she gave the bathrooms a deep clean and a clear out along with the guest room. At least this house is getting a good clean she thinks to herself as she cleans yet another room. Though now she was worried she'd offend the cleaner doing all these jobs before she arrived.
She arrives at the gym a little while before her session the next day and finds him boxing again with the same guy from last week. She walks over to the ring and stands there to watch them sparring. Elliot notices her but pretends he doesn't and puts all of his effort into not letting Nick get one over on him.
Liv was surprised to find herself aroused by it. She'd never before thought of boxing as something sexual but it make him ooze a masculinity that she didn't see much. All of the men she knew were lawyers or wall street suits and they didn't have that sexual prowess that Elliot had.
Eventually Elliot gives a time out to the other man and he looks relieved.
"Sorry Nick, that's time. I can't leave a beautiful woman waiting"
Nick laughed and looked at her as he poured some water over his face.
"You saved me"
"Glad to be of service"
"I've done the hard part, take him down"
They laugh together as he climbs down and out of the ring. Elliot waves him off before bending down to speak to Liv.
"You want a go?"
"At boxing?"
"Yeah why not?"
"It's hardly my thing"
"Take it as a step towards me seeing fun Miss Benson"
She smirks and pulls herself up to the ring. He holds out his hand and helps her to a standing position.
"Wait here"
He climbs back down the way she had just come in and walks over to the wall to pick up some boxing gloves for her. He looks through a few sizes before choosing a pair and carrying them back up into the ring.
"Give me your hands"
She holds them out in front of her and takes one, smoothing his fingers over her palm as he wraps one hand and then the next and then places gloves on her hands.
"Ever done this before?"
She shakes her head as he puts the pads on his hand for her to punch.
"A bit too rough for a Wall Street wife is it?" He teases.
"He isn't on Wall Street"
"So what does the lucky guy do?"
"He's a lawyer"
Elliot holds his hand up and motions for her to hit it which she does so pitifully he can't help but laugh.
"Put a bit of effort into it. Harder"
She tries again and it's a little harder this time but he still wants more.
"So a lawyer huh? I bet he works long hours. Keeps you waiting up, cancels plans?"
Liv isn't sure if she's angry at Elliot for trying to wind her up or at Trevor for giving him the ammunition but her next punch is a little bit harder. Both of Elliot's hands are up now ready for her to let loose.
"Do you wonder what you're missing out on? The fun you could be having with someone a bit less like him.."
"Shut up will you" she didn't want him to finish that sentence.
"..someone a little more like me that could show you a good time"
"He shows me a good time"
The next punch took Elliot by surprise. Clearly lying makes her angry.
"Yea? What does he do?"
"He" punch "he…" punch
She stops then, letting her hands fall to her side she laughs. As if realising for the first time what a joke her life and her marriage really was.
"He doesn't do a fucking thing"
Elliot puts his hands down and tilts his head, watching her stood there in front of him. He can't tell if she is angry or relieved. She's laughing to herself but he can tell it's a nervous laugh. Maybe he had hit a little deep. Or maybe not enough.
"Doesn't sound a great husband"
She shrugs and lifts up her hands to show she's ready to punch the pads again, maybe this could be therapeutic she thinks and he raises his hands to let her. She has a good rhythm going on now, she's just the right amount of angry.
"Do your friends like him?"
She laughed a lot more bitterly than she intended and hit the pad hard.
"They sure like you"
"Oh?"
"I heard all about their sex lives with you"
He could tell the punches had gotten harder than when they were talking about her husband and he was trying to hold back a cocky smile.
"Is it a bad thing that I'm good in bed?"
Yes. When it's not with me. Yes!
"No"
"Then why are you angry?"
"I'm not" punch.
"Not jealous?"
"Nope" punch
"When did he last fuck you?"
She stops punching the pads and stands up straight to huff. She shakes her head and turns around, grabbing the glove with her teeth to rip it off her hand as she walks away from him.
"You can't ask people stuff like that?"
"Why not? You said you talked about my sex life last night"
He throws the pads down on the floor and follows Liv as she walks to the other side of the ring.
"Thats different"
"Why?"
"It just is"
She groans in frustration, unable to get the gloves off her hands so he moves to the front of her to help her remove them.
"No sex talk and no sex. Ok"
He looks into her eyes and smirks as he helps her take the gloves off her hands and throw them to the floor.
"You need to relax Benson"
"Its not-"
"He doesn't deserve you taking his name by the sound of it"
Fair point she thinks as Elliot moves around her again. He stands behind her, places his hands on her shoulders and starts to massage her, digging his thumbs into the hard knots on her back.
"Relax" he whispers and her eyes close.
She did need to relax, he was right. He also seemed very skilled. Of course he does. She feels her body instantly melt under his touch and her head falls back against his shoulder behind her.
"I can make you feel good"
I bet you can
Elliots one hand moves from her shoulder and trails down her arm, her palm turns outwards automatically to hold him but his fingers only trace her fingers before stroking back up her arm, across the goosebumps now covering her whole body. She could feel her nipples hardening under his touch and she bit her lip thinking he couldn't see from that position but he was watching her in the mirror, the sight making him hard already. He wondered what her face would look like if he touched her, if he dipped his fingers into her pants he just knew were getting wet, if he made her come right here.
"I want to make you feel good"
He half whispers, half growls in her ear and she bites down on her lip even harder to make sure she doesn't moan at his words. She couldn't give him the satisfaction even though he could hear the way her breathing had increased like she had just run a mile.
When she doesn't push him away or tell him no he strokes his fingers down over her collarbone and along the opening of her top, finally getting to smooth his fingers across her cleavage. She arches her chest into him and his large hand cups her breast, squeezing through the thin materials. Her nipples were hard against her clothes and he could feel it in his palm, he brushed over it with his thumb a few times before squeezing gently.
"Open your eyes" he tells her and she does to finally realise he has been watching her this whole time in the mirror. His hand moves to her other breast and he takes a step towards her, pressing his erection into her back.
"You're so hot. You know that?"
It wasn't a question, she knew he was telling her and it felt strange to hear someone say that. It wasn't something she expected to hear at her age. He wants to prove he means his words by placing a kiss on her neck and another until he is trailing them up her neck and back down. Her hand reaches behind her to grab his head as she arches her neck to him, giving him more access.
"I've wanted you since the moment I met you"
Same here. She refuses to tell him though. Decides to let him do the talking until sense returns to her.
His other hand that was still on her shoulder slides down her side and between her legs, cupping her aching core and her eyes slip closed again. She practically grinds down into his hand wanting nothing more than him to slide his fingers inside her but she knows if he does there's no going back. That once he touched her skin to skin she has cheated. Is this not cheating? Her mind tries to ask, giving her an excuse to carry on but she won't listen.
"I should go"
Her mouth moves to say the words but she doesn't move a muscle away from him.
"Yeah?"
He smooths his middle finger between her legs, smoothing just the right spot if her clothes weren't in the way. The moan that left her mouth told her she was at a crossroads. She had to walk away or she was done for and she didn't think she was ready yet. Yet.
"Yeah"
She opens her eyes and though the mirrors were far away he could tell she was looking right into his eyes and he moves his hand from her body and takes a step back.
"I'm gonna go," she says, avoiding looking at him. She didn't want to make things anymore awkward, she didn't regret what had almost happened but it had to be the end. For now her brain tells her.
"We've still got some time left. You don't have to"
He can hear how pathetic he sounds, why was he begging her to stay after she had just rejected him?
"I think it's best I just go"
She turns to give him a smile before she jumps down out of the ring to reassure him everything is ok and it does make him feel a little relieved.
"Are you going to come back?" he calls after her as she walks away.
She turns to face him as she walks backwards out of the empty gym and winks. She left him standing there alone, confused and hard. She was going to be the death of him.
AN. I just had to add in the cliche "she will be the death of him" line. Is it an EO fic if that isn't included?
