Olivia had been having the most exciting two weeks of her life. The last time she had laughed and smiled this much must have been twenty years ago and even then she doesn't think Trevor was ever that funny. She knew that her and her husband had never had the relationship her and Elliot had. They were in sync in every way, their humour was matched and the sex was amazing. He had opened her eyes to things she'd never done before and some things she'd never even heard of. But no matter what it was he always made her feel safe. She trusted him fully.
After the initial fun of gym sex, shower sex and car sex had wore off (one or two time of each was quite enough for her) they'd started to get hotels. Liv had warned him they couldn't go anywhere local so they drove separately out to Queens or Brooklyn and they'd spend a few hours in the kind of hotel Liv hadn't frequented in many years. They seemed clean enough but she missed the plushness of the four seasons.
Leaving him was always hard. It had only been a few weeks but every night he asked her to stay and she told him no. Each time she left later and later and even though sometimes she didn't get in until after midnight Trevor never asked where she had been. Every time that she slipped into bed next to him she wondered why she hadn't stayed with Elliot.
Elliot had not so much as looked at another woman since that first night with Liv. Dani had told her friends and it seemed like every woman on the upper east side was determined to be the one to get him into bed next but he politely turned every one of them down. He never told them why or mentioned that he had met someone because he knew then they'd be determined to find out who and he didn't want that to happen to Liv. If the truth ever came out he wanted it to be because she wanted it to and so he was determined to protect her. He simply told everyone that he was turning over a new leaf. His friends had thought he was mad, they had joked they'd turn a few women down to have all these women throwing themselves at them. They all thought this was some great plan to get women and he laughed it off and let everyone think what they wanted. The truth was better than anything they could imagine.

Olivia was getting ready for drinks with the girls. They didn't manage to get out every weekend but lord knows they tried as much as they could. She was dressed in a tight purple dress and she clips one side of her hair back before pouting in the mirror to check she looked ok.
It is true what people say about being happy makes you look good. She had never really thought of herself as unhappy before, bored or lonely maybe but not unhappy but now she was HAPPY. Even when she wasn't with him the thought of him kept her amused. He could text her random messages to tell her he was thinking of her or terrible jokes to get her to smile because as he tells her often, she has a beautiful smile.
She'd also had another phone call from Noah this afternoon which had put her in an even better nood. Trevor had been around so she had managed to hand the phone over to him as well and she was happy to know they had talked again. Only a few times these last few weeks he had been around when Olivia had spoken to Noah and she didn't think they'd spoken alone in between.
It's still sunny outside even though evening is creeping in so she picks up her favourite pair of Prada shades along with her phone and clutch bag as she heads out of the door.
She's barely out of the building and placing the shades on her face when her phone rings and she is confused to see Trevor ringing her. He had been in his office but she hadn't bothered going to say goodbye. Neither of them had wasted their time with goodbyes in weeks now.
"Hello?"
"Where are you going?!"
She's taken aback by her tone. Did they have plans she had forgotten about?
"Out with Amanda. Why?"
"So you're just going out again without even telling me?"
"Why do I need to tell you? We've barely said two words to each other in weeks!"
She was trying not to raise her voice as she walked down the street but she wanted to scream at him for being a hypocrite.
"And whose fault is that?"
Olivia scoffs. The shock of his words bring her to a standstill in the middle of the street.
"Well Trevor I'm included to say YOURS. You started this, I'm only acting the way you have been for a very long time. Think about that. And while you're at it maybe you can sit there and wonder where I am all night or if I will even bother coming home"
"Olivia…"
He says her name with a warning like he was about to tell of a naughty child.
"Don't Olivia me Trevor. Screw you"
She moves the phone from her ear and hangs it up before she can hear any reply. For good measure she turns it off and throws it in her bag. Tonight he will understand what she's gone through for all these years.
--
Tonight she is joining in with the rowdy vibe of the girls. She knows she's been boring for a long time - Amanda tells her often enough - but tonight whether it be because of the joy Elliot brings her or the anger Trevor brings her she's downing tequilas with them and laughing as she watches them rate every man that walks into the bar out of ten. Sure some of them seem nice but nothing compared to Elliot.
"You really do look so good Liv. This is exactly the Liv I wanted back!" Amanda slurs at her when it's dark outside. She doesn't know what the time is but she doesn't care. For the first time in a long time she's enjoying herself fully.
"Well for once you were right. I do like this me"
Olivia picks up her shot that's still on the table in front of her and clinks it against Amanda's even though she's tipped half of hers out from throwing her hands around.
"So is it what we think it is?" Casey asks. "The reason you look so glowing?"
"What do you mean?". She plays dumb, trying to bide herself time to work on her poker face.
"Elliot. Silly!"
"No Casey. I am not fucking my personal trainer! Is sex all you women think about?" she rolls her eyes pretending to be exasperated with them and they all giggle and answer yes.
"I heard though" starts Alex and they all turn to look at her. "He's stopped sleeping with everyone. It's been weeks and let me tell you everyone has tried!"
"Damn, I had heard that but I was hoping it was just a rumour"
"Nope, my friend tried calling him last week and he said he's 'turned over a new leaf' whatever the hell that means"
Olivia listens to the chatter around her and keeps her drink close to her face to hide the flush of her cheeks. He wasn't sleeping with anyone else?! She had tried to push that to the back of her mind. Of course her and Trevor hadn't been sleeping together but she hadn't told him that, she hadn't wanted it to sound like she was pushing something on him that wasn't fair. She wasn't his and she couldn't stop him doing as he pleased even if the thought of it did break her heart a little. But to hear that he hadn't, that he'd chosen to have only her even when he couldn't have her fully? Well she was struggling to hold back a grin.
She could feel the glare of eyes on her and turned her head slightly to see Amanda giving her a smirk. She knows. She doesn't say anything though, whatever it is that has put a smile on her friends face she approves of and will keep her secret so she can enjoy it for as long as she can. Liv smiles back at her and they share a moment and Liv knows her secret is safe.
Time passes quickly and before she knows it everyone is ready for home. She hadn't gotten half as drunk as the rest of her friends who were now falling all over the place and singing cheesy songs from the 80s. She takes her phone out of her bag ready to call herself a cab, deciding to flag one down when intoxicated isn't the safest choice.
As soon as her phone turns on it goes crazy. Ping. Ping. Ping. over and over. Her heart drops thinking something terrible has happened to Noah and she is ready to hate herself for turning her phone off to be petty. But from what she can tell they all seem to be texts from Elliot.
Are you still going out tonight? I wish I could see how good you looked
Hope you're not ignoring me cause you're too busy chatting everyone up
Liv?
Liv is everything ok? It's not like you to not reply
missed call*
Liv, I'm worried now. Please let me know you're ok.
Before she has time to type out a reply her phone is ringing again and it's Elliot.
"Hey you" She says in a flirty tone as she answers. She turns in her seat away from the table to try and get some privacy.
"Jeus Liv where have you been? I've been worried sick your phone being off all night"
"Aw you were worrying about me? That's cute"
That's also more than Trevor had done because she didn't see his name pop up when she turned her phone on.
"Of course I was worried about you. I don't know what I'd do if anything happened…" he leaves his sentence unfinished, not even wanting to think of anything happening to her. The thought alone makes his chest tighten.
"Who knew you were so cute"
"Where are you?"
"I'm still at the bar"
"Are you ok?"
"I'm fine. I just turned my phone off because he annoyed me"
She didn't need to say who he was. Elliot already knows.
"Is everything alright?" he asks, concerned for her.
"Yea everything is fine, it was just a silly row" she pauses for a moment debating if what she's about to say is a good idea. "Elliot.."
"Hmm"
"Text me your address. I want to spend the night with you"
He sits up straight on the sofa he had been leaning back on as she says those words he's been longing to hear.
"Are you sure?"
She smiles and nods forgetting that he can't see her.
"Yeah. I'm ready to leave and I want to go home to you"
Her words take away his ability to speak for a moment and she worries she's gone too far.
"Elliot?"
"Im sorry but that's just the best thing you've ever said to me"
Her cheesy grin matches his on the other end of the phone. He tells her he will text the address and to call a cab immediately.
"Oh and Liv, drink some water"
"Yeah, yeah"
She hangs up the phone but she has to agree that it is a good idea. Her mouth was dry and she downs nearly a whole pint. She didn't want to seem drunk when she got to his apartment.
--
When she arrives half an hour later he is waiting outside for the car to pull up and when it does he walks straight over to the driver's window and hands him the cash before Liv can even open her bag.
She shuffles over to get out the driver's side as that's closer to the apartment and Elliot opens the cab door for her and holds his hand out for her to hold. She takes it and climbs out of the car and he shuts the door behind her.
"Hey you" he says with a huge grin on his face
"Hey"
Her grin is just as large and they stand there smiling at each other for a moment until the sound of the cab driving off reminds them they are still standing in the street. His hand is still holding hers and he leads her into his building, holding the door open for her as they walk in.
She's pleasantly surprised at the place. She didn't realise personal trainers made quite that much money. As they walk through the lobby and over to the elevator she is busy admiring the place, only when the doors shut behind them does she remember she's finally alone with him. It had only been a day and yet she had missed him like crazy and needed to hear him say he felt the same. She turns her body into his and looks up into his eyes.
"Did you miss me?"
He places his free hand on her cheek and swipes his thumb over it.
"I've missed you every second i'm not with you from the moment I met you Miss Benson"
She rolls her eyes. He's determined to call her that all the time, as if he says it enough her husband will disappear. Grabbing the back of his head she pulls his lips down to hers and kisses him deeply.
He can taste the alcohol on her breath but she seems sober, maybe just brave enough to tell him how she misses him though which he wont complain about. He can't help but turn them around to press her against the elevator door but no sooner had she moaned from her back hitting the metal hand rail had the elevator stopped and the doors flung open on his floor.
"Next time we should.."
"Definitely"
Their hands are still intertwined and he pulls her leading them both into his apartment.
It felt too personal to be there. Like they were crossing a line being in each other's personal space like this. It was tidier than she had pictured, no piles of dirty dishes or dirty socks all over the place. Him being a single guy living alone she had expected a bit of mess but as she slipped her hand from his and walked through the kitchen into the living area she gave him a 10/10 in her head. It was simple but nice. There was a large floor to ceiling window in the living room that showed off her favourite sight - the bright lights of New York City.
Elliot watches her as she inspects his place, he'd made sure he had tidied as much as he could when she had said she was on her way over and he hoped he had passed the test. Even though he'd never say he was an untidy guy he didn't want to let her down in any way. He watches as she moves through the living room and drops her bag on the couch and heads towards his bedroom. She leans against the door frame and waits for him to follow. He follows her through the apartment to stand in front of her.
"So this is where the magic happens is it?"
He shakes his head and places his hand above her on the door frame.
"It happens in ladies bathrooms and my gym. The front seat of my car, the back seat of yours. The shower, often"
"Yea yea alright I get your point"
She blushes as she flashes back to all the moments he had mentioned. She didn't realise she'd started to become such an exhibitionist.
"But yes. Tonight it will happen there and then on every piece of furniture we can find. I wanna remember fucking you every time I do anything in this place"
His words make her feel special. He always knows how to make her feel like the most important woman in his life and she remembers what her friends had told her earlier, that right now she was the only woman in his life.
"Thank you"
She whispers, placing a hand on his face and he looks at her confused.
"For what?"
"For everything"
Olivia grabs his t-shirt and pulls him down to kiss her. He presses her body back against the doorframe as he pushes himself against her. His hand grabs her ass and pulls her closer so his growing bulge is pressed against her belly and she knows what she wants to do.
She pushes him back so suddenly he has to put his arm out before him to catch himself before he falls into the door frame on the other side.
"Liv what-?"
"Take off your pants"
"Geesh. I thought something was wrong"
He kicks off his pants and pulls his top over his head for good measure until he is standing there naked in front of her and he raises an eyebrow at her still fully clothed.
"Sit down"
He does as she says, not sure what she was getting at. She walks over to him and stands between his legs making him wait for a moment before she drops to her knees and he lets out a slow fuckkk just at the sight of her kneeling before him.
Liv takes him in her hand and starts to stroke him slowly. As her hand strokes his length she starts to suck on his balls before flattening her tongue against the back of his shaft, licking along his length and swirling it at the tip. Elliot drops his head back and groans again and she grins.
"Tell me why I've never done this before? I wanted to do it so many times. Wanted to please you with just my mouth"
"Probably because you're about five minutes away from me going into cardiac arrest!"
She giggles and he drops his head forward to watch her again. Her eyes connect with his as she slides her mouth down his length, not stopping until he hits the back of her throat.
Elliot digs both of his hands into the edge of the bed and when she pulls back she takes his right hand and places it on the back of her head. He automatically grips a handful of her hair and the moan that comes from her mouth matches the flutter she felt between her legs.
"Show me what you want"
"Fuck Liv"
Her mouth takes his length again and this time he pushes her down slightly until she gags. He only leaves her a moment before pulling her back slightly to check on her.
"That alright?"
She hums her response and the sound vibrates on his dick and she hollows her mouth around him, keeping eye contact as she moves her head up and down along his length. He pushes her down again and he groans as he feels her saliva drop down his balls. He moans her name over and over every time he looks down to watch the way she was letting him fuck her face, encouraging it.
Liv wishes she had taken off her clothes before she did this, her clit was throbbing between her legs and she wanted to open them and make herself cum as she watched him but all she could do was press her thighs together because she didn't want to stop sucking his dick long enough to pull up her damn dress. He was looking at her like she was giving him the world and she noticed it wasn't just lust in his eyes when he looked at her.
Elliot's head falls back as he fights with himself to not cum already, he hadn't even got to enter her yet and if he didn't stop soon he'd be coming in her mouth and he worried she'd walk out on him.
"Oh god Liv… fuck… you gotta stop"
She doesn't stop and instead she sucks her lips in harder and cups his balls to massage them. Elliot - with great will power - pulls her head back far enough that he falls out of her mouth but she doesn't stop with her hand, still pumping his dick right in front of her face.
"I'm gonna cum Liv"
"Just come. We have all night" she moves her head forward to flick her tongue over his tip, lapping up his pre cum. "I wanna taste you"
He can't fight that. No man could resist Olivia telling him those words. He pushes her face back down and she grins around his cock as she works to make him cum.
"Oh god Liv.. I.."
Elliot grips Liv's hair harder as he thrusts into her mouth a few more times. He calls her name as he empties into her mouth and she moans around him. She swallows all that he gives her, sucking his dick until he tells her to stop.
When she leans back he leans forward to grab her by her arms and pulls her up to straddle him. He kisses her deeply, like it was their first kiss all over again until they fall back onto the bed together.
A few hours later they lay there naked and spent. Elliot is snoring quietly next to her but Liv can't sleep. She lays there stroking her fingers up and down his arm that is slung across her belly and looks between him and the ceiling.
Something felt different tonight. It wasn't the usual way they had sex, it was slow and passionate and he had that look in his eye every time he looked at her. She knew what he wanted to say, what he was thinking every time it happened because she felt it too but she couldn't let herself go there. She had a husband at home, a family. She couldn't have it all anymore, it was getting too complicated.
She pushes his hand off her softly and places it on the bed between them and she stands up to walk across the room and throws on his t-shirt that he had been wearing earlier. She opens the door slowly in case it squeaks as she doesn't want to wake him and creeps out. It's dark in the living room but she doesn't want to put on a light, instead she goes over to stand at the window. On the way she picks up her bag and takes her phone out to check it. The time says 4am and there still wasn't a text or a missed call from Trevor. It hurts her that he cares so little and she asks herself why she is even still there at this point.
Placing her phone back in her bag she walks over to the windows and leans against the wall looking out. This is the quietest she's ever seen New York city. The city never sleeps but most are in slumber by now, there are still plenty of lights on in the apartments surrounding her though. She can hear the sound of an ambulance somewhere far in the distance and she looks over in the direction of her apartment, wondering if Trevor is sound asleep. Had he at least sat up waiting for her even if he hadn't called?
She hears footsteps behind her and turns her head to see Elliot walking out of the bedroom having thrown on a pair of boxers.
"Hey. everything ok?"
"Yeah. I just couldn't sleep"
He walks up behind her and wraps his arms around her stomach and kisses the top of her head.
"I'm offended. I thought i'd given you good enough sex to put you to sleep"
She laughs and wraps her arms over his and looks back out of the window.
"I just have a lot on my mind"
"Wanna talk about it?"
She shakes her head. She didn't know what she planned for tomorrow and she didn't want anything he had to say to influence her decision.
"Ok"
They stand there for a few moments, him cuddling into her from behind looking out of the window before he speaks again.
"Can I just say one thing because if I don't I might regret it forever"
He slips his hands back to place them on her hips and he turns her around to face him.
"I-"
She lifts her finger up to place it on his lips to stop him talking. If he says those words to her she worries she won't ever leave this apartment and she knows she needs to go home and sort out her life.
"I know Elliot. I know"
She places her hand on his chest above his heart and she looks up to him with tears filled eyes. He worries this is going to be the last time he sees her and he wishes she had let him say it. Instead he pulls her into a hug and holds her tight as she fights back letting the tears fall.
AN. I hope you're all now singing one direction - Olivia just cause it's all he wants to say.
