Erik escapes from France after his life shatters spectacularly and he has to make a strange pact with a person he barely knows. A story about loving, growing, and occasional adventures.

This new multi-chapter, #7 in the series, takes up the family's story in 1918 - a tumultuous time in the United States. Erik is feeling the absence of Gustave in the house now that he is married. As the story progresses many of the relationships of the characters will be examined. Raoul, Nadir, Meg, Sorelli and Phillippe along with some OCs will be part of the ongoing saga.
