Because of the dark ones' orders and for his sadistic pleasure, Skeleton King aims to turn Chiro to the dark side, deciding to 'adopt' him. Once he gets separated from the monkey team, Chiro will have to hold onto good and Antauri's memory, all the while trying to fight conflicted feelings. Does Skeleton King really care for him? Or is it all a ruse?

Nova couldn't care less about love, her sights for her future were set strictly on being the lady she was raised to be. Having every man she met wrapped around her finger with her beauty and charm, she meets a low class gardener that for some reason, make her knees weak. They soon team up to protect the city and fight for justice.

The two wisest members of the Hyper Force get together to address their emotional shortcomings, and end up confiding a lot more with one another than either expected.
