Sonata couldn't stop thinking about Danny during the rest of her classes. She thought about that cute face, those blue eyes, and that raven black hair. Never mind that he wasn't popular, he was just so cute. The young siren just sighs lovely as she barely pays attention to her lesson.
Not far from her, Aria sat at her desk noticing her sister daydreaming. Honestly, she didn't get it. Sonata never showed interest in a boy before. And yet, she has a lovesick look on her face after one meaning. She saw nothing about him that made him worthy of her sister's love. But there was something about him that she couldn't help but respect. He stood up to Adagio. Barely anyone stood up to Adagio, and that was enough to earn her respect. Adagio was upset on the way to their classes and Aria give him points for doing so. It was rare that anyone could do that.
Sonata kept daydreaming until the bell rang. She and Aria soon meet up with Adagio and headed for lunch. They were shocked to see the food and threw their trays away.
"Jeez, Canerlot High had better food." Aria said.
"Don't worry! I came prepared!" Sonata said, holding up three lunch bags.
"It has better not be tacos!" Aria said, crossing her arms.
"Of course not, silly! I only got tacos for myself!" Sonata smirks before handing the other bags to them.
"BBJ for Aria and Sunday surprise to Adagio!" She said, surprising the two sirens.
"I still can't believe she remembers our favorites," Aria said.
The Dazzlings looked around before Sonata spotted Danny at a table with his friends. Taking a breath, she started to walk toward them, surprising Aria and Adagio. She stops before trying to open her mouth.
"Um, Danny?" Tucker said, making his friend lookup.
"Huh?" Danny said before seeing Sonata.
"Sonata?" He asked.
"EPP!" Sonata said, backing away a bit.
Danny was confused by her action but shrugged it off.
"Let me guess, you want to join me and my friends?" He asked.
Sonata nodded, and Danny thought about it.
"Alright. Have a seat. And yes, the others can join too." Danny said.
Sonata smiles before waving the other two Sirens over. They sat down and pull out their lunches.
"Wow! That looks good!" Tucker said.
Aria rolled her eyes as she bit into her sandwich. Sonata munched on her taco, trying not to look at Danny as she did so. Adagio sighs and looks at Danny.
"Listen, Danny, was it? I apologize for the way I acted earlier. I kind of grew up having everyone listening to what I wanted." She said, trying not to gag at what she was saying.
Danny raised an eyebrow but sighed.
"You're forgiven." He said.
"Really Danny?" Sam asked, crossing her arms.
"They're new, Sam. I'm not going to judge them based on a bad meeting." He said, turning back to Adagio.
"I take it you have questions about my parents?" He asked.
"I do. We just move here and we have been hearing about the ghost attacks. Is it true that your parents built a portal to their world?" Adagio asked.
"Yeah. They call it the Ghost Zone." Danny sighs.
"The Ghost Zone?" Sonata asked.
"Not sure where they came up with the name, but it seems to fit. I even heard some of the Ghosts refer to that as well." Danny said.
"Huh, and why did they make a portal?" Aria asked.
"Mom and Dad wanted to prove that Ghosts are real and evil." He said.
"Evil?" Sonata asked, confused.
"I'm not sure why they think that, but they are wrong. If you heard about the Ghost Attacks, then you heard about the one named Phantom?" Danny said.
All three of them nodded. Adagio was impressed by his powers, Aria liked that he was strong, and Sonata thought he was cool.
"My parents think he's evil despite all the good he's doing. And there's Vlad, who's blaming all the ghost attacks on him..." Danny added.
"Vlad?" Sonata asked.
"Vlad Masters, the mayor of our town. He and my parents use to be best friends. Now Vlad is just a lonely man that wants to make everyone's life miserable." Danny said, groaning.
The Dazzlings looked at each other. They recall hearing about the town mayor blaming all the ghost attacks on Phantom. They had no idea why, though.
"So, Danny? What do you do?" Sonata asked, shyly.
Danny blinks before deciding to answer.
"Well, not much. I'm not into Ghost Hunting like my parents. I plan on becoming an astronaut in the future." He said.
"An...astronaut?" Sonata asked, confused.
"You don't know what an astronaut is?" Danny asked, surprised.
Sonata shook her head and Danny started to explain everything he knew about it.
"And there he goes." Tucker sighs.
"Sound like he loves talking about it," Aria said, seeing Sonata was gross into it.
"Move then you know," Sam said, shaking her head.
"You don't share the same thing?" Adagio asked.
"Don't get us wrong, we're happy for Danny, but we have our own dreams," Tucker told them.
"Yours involve getting rich and marrying a beautiful girl," Sam smirks.
"Yep!" Tucker smirks before catching what Sam means.
"HEY!" He shouted, making her laugh.
"Haha, not bad." Aria smiles.
Sam looks at her and smiles back. She doesn't seem too bad.
"Thanks. I do my best to keep this guy out of trouble." Sam said.
"Oh, I know how that feels. Sonata gets into more trouble than she admits." Aria said.
"You're trouble!" Sonata shouted before going back to listening to Danny.
Aria rolled her eyes as Sam looked confused.
"Don't pay any mind to that. She does that." Aria said.
"Um, sure," Sam said.
"Wow! So there could be other life out there?" Sonata asked.
"You knows. Just tried to be mindful of the movies. They don't always tell the truth." Danny told her.
Sonata nods. She did see a few of them, even the one called Alien. It scared her for weeks, and she stay away from small openings until she got over it.
"So, what do you do? What's your dream?" Danny asked her.
"Me? Well, I don't have a dream, but me, Aria, and Adagio use to be singers!" Sonata smiles.
"Singers?" Danny asked.
"Yes, we use to sing. However, we lost our...err...voices for a time, and we can't sing anymore." Adagio said, trying not to get upset.
"Have you tried?" Tucker asked.
The Dazzlings look at each other and cleared their throats. They sing one note, and Danny, Sam, and Tucker flinched before covering their ears.
"Wow! That was bad. No offense." Danny said.
"Yeah. We miss being able to sing. We even started calling ourselves The Dazzlings because of it." Sonata said, sadly.
"I'm sorry to hear that," Danny said.
"Maybe you take some lessons. There's a music class you can sign up for." Sam said.
Sonata blinks before turning to the other two. Aria was thinking about it but Adagio shook her head.
"Thanks for the offer, but we'll find our own way." She said.
"Ahh! Come on, Adagio!" Sonata whines.
"I can't believe I'm about to say this but, I'm with Sonata on this one," Aria said.
Adagio groans before looking at her cousins.
"I said no!" She said.
Danny didn't get why she was refusing the offer, but he notices how much of a "leader" she acting.
"Alright, Adagio, if you don't want to take classes, that's on you. Sonata, you and Aria can sign up after lunch. Just tell the music teacher what happened to you and maybe she could help." Danny said.
"You mean it?!" Sonata asked, surprised.
Danny nods before Sonata reach over and hugs him, surprising everyone.
"THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!" She said, very fast.
"Sonata, sit down," Aria told her.
She blinks before she realized she was close to Danny's face. She blushes hard before sitting down.
"Sorry! I got carried away." She said, looking at her taco.
Danny, on the other hand, was a bit surprised. He recovered and looked at her.
"It's fine. You just surprise me, is all." He said.
Aria shook her head as Adagio groaned.
Later,
Sonata and Aria found the Music Room and signed up. Aria came up with a story on how they lost their singing voices, and the Teacher promised to help them. They met back up with Adagio, who wasn't pleased.
"Why didn't you sign up, Adagio? The teacher is very nice!" Sonata asked.
"Because we're already trying to find a way to get our singing voices back!" Adagio growls.
"But Aria signed up too!" Sonata said.
"Only so I can keep an eye on you," Aria said.
"I knew talking to that boy was a bad idea," Adagio whispers to herself.
"GET BACK HERE FENTON!"
The Dazzlings looked and saw Dash back chasing after Danny again.
"Well, at least he's not as annoying as that one," Adagio added.
"Um, Adagio?" Aria spoke up.
She turns to Aria before seeing that Sonata wasn't there.
"She chase after them, did she?" Adagio asked.
"Yep." Aria nods.
"She so helpless," Adagio said.
"Yep." Aria agrees.
"Come on, we still need to meet his parents," Adagio said, shaking her head.
Meanwhile,
Dash was able to trap Danny at a dead end and he couldn't use his powers to get away without Dash noticing.
"Alright Fenton, it's payback time!" Dash said, cracking his knuckles.
"Look, they came to sit with us! What did you want me to do? Tell them to sit with you?" Danny told him.
"Well, yeah!" Dash said, grabbing Danny's shirt.
"Oh, so you can brag about how you got three girls to like you? Trust me, Dash. They made no effort on hiding how much they don't like you. All we did was talk!" Danny said.
"That you had no right to!" Dash said, getting ready to punch him.
Suddenly, Dash felt a horrible pain in his "main" area. His eyes nearly bug out of his head as he drops Danny and fell to his knees. Danny blinks as she saw Dash fall forward, grabbing his "main" area. He looks up to see Sonata lowing her leg and glaring at Dash.
"Leave him alone, you stupid meanie head!" She said.
Danny blinks before noticing Sonata started blushing again.
"Are you okay?" She asked, shyly.
"Um, yeah?" Danny said, confused.
"I'm glad," Sonata said, looking away.
"Sonata!"
They turned and saw Adagio and Aria walking up to them. They notice Dash on the ground before looking at them.
"Really, Sonata?" Aria asked.
Danny sighs and spoke up.
"Look, how about we get out here. If a teacher sees us, then we'll all be in trouble." He said.
The Dazzlings agreed and they left Dash behind, who was still groaning from the kick.
After school,
Danny sighs as he and his friends started to lead the Dazzlings to his place. Sam started to chat with Aria, and the two started to hit it off real fast. Tucker tried to talk to Adagio, but she outright ignore him. Sonata was walking next to him, smiling and sneaking a few peeks at him before looking down.
'I never felt this way before. Just being near him is making my stomach flutter with breezies inside. My heart is beating so fast I felt like I just swam 300 miles in one tail wave.' She thought.
She looks back at Danny and smiles again.
'I wonder, do I like him? Wait, that doesn't sound right. Do I...?'
"Here we are," Danny spoke up, snapping her from her thoughts.
Everyone looks up and saw the giant sign.
"Wow, I thought you were kidding about the sign," Aria said.
"My Dad's idea. He wanted everyone to know where we live in case they need help from us." Danny said before facing them.
"So, you wanted to meet my parents, right? I hope you're ready." Danny told them.
With that, Danny opens the door and lets them inside.
"Mom, Dad, there's someone here to see you," Danny called out.
And Cut! Well, I decided to cover more of the meeting between The Dazzlings and Team Phantom before meeting Danny's parents. Now it seems like the two groups are getting along, but Adagio is still trying to find her own way to recover their power. Sonata and Aria had also signed up for Music classes, but who knows how well that will work out. And it looks as Sam and Aria are getting along as well. Sonata is slowly learning that she was falling in love with Danny, with Danny having no clue that she is. It will be some time before Danny and Sonata get together and it will be even longer before Danny learns the truth about the Sirens. So, up next is the with the Fenton Family and maybe some ghosts.
