Sonata stood by her locker, sighing. She had a bit of a hard time sleeping last night. Each time she close her eyes, she saw Danny. She saw his blue eyes that sparkled like the ocean. His raven black, while messy looked beautiful. And his smile, it was just so...
Sonata bangs her head on her locker. Why does she keep seeing him in her dreams? Why does she feel like her heart is trying to leap out of her chest when she's near him? WHY IS SHE TRYING TO ASK HIM OUT?!
"Hey, there."
She looks up and saw Dash leaning on the locker next to hers.
"The answer is no." She said, turning away from him.
"Too bad, I don't take no for an answer," Dash said, grabbing her arm.
Sonata glares at him, and was about to sing before remembering she didn't have her jewel.
"Let go." She told him.
"Not happening," Dash said, pulling her into his arms.
Sonata tried to pull herself free, but Dash had a good grip on her.
"Come on, I'll show you that I'm much better." He said, leaning in to kiss her.
Sonata headbutts him, forcing Dash to let go and grab his nose. Now free, Sonata kicks him in the stomach, knocking the air out of him.
"DON'T you EVER touch me like that AGAIN!" She yells before walking away.
Dash groans before looking up.
"Oh, that does it!" He said, getting ready to go after her.
"Mr. Baxter."
Dash stops as he saw Principal Ishiyama walking up to him.
"I'll have you know I saw what happened. And I don't approve of it. Detention, after school." She said before walking past him.
Sonata sat in class before feeling someone tap her shoulder. She turns and saw Valerie, one of the girls that Danny dated in the past.
"Hey, are you okay? Everyone heard about what happened between you and Dash." She asked.
"Yeah," Sonata said.
"That's good. Dash never did understand that not all girls liked him." Valerie said.
Sonata nods. She never liked Dash because of how annoying and stupid he was. And it seems he can't take a hint. Maybe that's why she prefers Danny.
'Danny.' She thought.
She remembers that she wanted to ask his friends about this feeling she has, but she was with someone that dated him in the past. Maybe she could ask her? After class, that is.
After the class was over, Sonata quickly caught Valerie before she could head to her next class.
"Um, Valerie? Can I ask you something?" She said, making the dark-skin girl turn to her.
"Sure, what's up?" Valerie asked.
"Um, this may sound a little strange to you, but what was it like dating Danny?" She asked, shyly.
Valerie blinks. She wants to know what it was like dating Danny? Valerie got a good look at her face and was surprised.
'No way! She has a crush on Danny?' Valerie thought.
Valerie gave it some thought and nodded.
"To tell you the truth, Danny was a sweet and caring guy. We didn't do anything big, like kissing, but he sure knows how to make a girl happy." She said, making Sonata look up.
"Danny told me that you broke it off before it could go anywhere." She said.
Valerie looks away and frowns. Yes, she did. It was for his safety.
"I really liked him. He was there for me when I got kicked out of the A-Listers. He become my friend, and I saw that the A-Listers were wrong about him. I was wrong about him." Valerie said, sighing.
Sonata looks a bit sad for her before sighing.
"So, how did you two end up together?" She asked.
"It was the strangest thing," Valerie said before explaining how she and Danny started dating.
Later,
Aria was mad, no, she was piss! She was marching down the hallway, giving off the feeling she was not going to be stopped. She saw Dash and growled. She stomps down the hall towards him pushing the other A-Listers out of her way before facing Dash.
"Huh? Hey ther..." Dash started before Aria punched him.
"HOW DARE YOU!" She screams, grabbing him by his collar.
"I HEARD WHAT YOU TRY TO DO TO MY SISTER! TOUCH HER LIKE THAT AGAIN, AND I'LL BREAK YOUR HANDS SO YOU NEVER CATCH ANOTHER FOOTBALL AGAIN!"
Dash was clearly scared out of his mind now. Aria threw him to the ground before glaring at him.
"Next time, I won't be holding back!" She said, her voice a lot calmer.
With that, Aria turns away and walks back down the hall. Many people backed away as she did. Not even the teachers dared to get near her. Adagio waited until Aria punch a locker out of anger.
"Better?" She asked.
"Not even close!" Aria answers.
Adagio also heard of what Dash did with Sonata and she was mad as well. But she knew Sonata was alright. Now if she would meet up with them!
"No kidding?"
"Yep! He might be clumsy, but he still means well!"
The two sirens turned and saw Sonata and Valerie, still talking to each other.
"You think you know a guy," Sonata said.
"As I said, Danny is a caring guy. He also knows how to get under Dash's skin." Valerie said, laughing.
The two notice the other Dazzlings and Sonata smiles.
"Oh, Valerie, this is my sister, Aria, and my cousin, Adagio!" Sonata said, cheerfully.
"Nice to meet you," Valerie said, holding out her hand.
"You too, or whatever..." Aria said, shaking it.
"Wow, you're a cheerful one," Valerie said.
"She's like that," Sonata said, shrugging.
"Anyways, thanks, Valerie. I got some things to think about now." Sonata said, making the other girl nodded.
"Sure thing, but let me give you a bit of warning," Valerie said before looking around.
"Don't ask him around Sam. She can deny it all she wants, but she gets jealous went another girl likes him." She said.
Sonata blinks, confused. But Aria caught what she meant. Adagio couldn't care less. With a wave, Valerie headed off. Sonata waves back before facing her family.
"What?" She asked, seeing their faces.
"Making more friends?" Aria asked.
"I wanted to ask her something and we ended up chatting. Could you believe she was once a member of the A-Listers? All it took was her Dad to lose his job to see how wrong she was about the things she did." Sonata said as Aria rolled her eyes.
"What did you ask her?" She said.
"Huh? Oh, just about her date with Danny." Sonata said, blushing.
"Sonata! In case you have forgotten, we are here to find a way to get our powers back! Not make out with a boy!" Adagio told her.
"But we tried!" Sonata said.
Adagio sighs before taking a breath.
"Listen, it's clear that the Fenton's don't have any artifacts on them, but they do have a portal to the Ghost World," Adagio said.
"Ghost Zone," Sonata said.
"Whatever, the point is, we can just go into the zone and find what we need," Adagio said.
"Two problems with that plan, Adagio," Aria said.
"What?" Adagio asked.
"One, we have no idea what to look for. And two, even if we did, how will we be able to find it?" Aria brought up.
Adagio sighs. As much as she hated it, Aria was right. And she did not want to go back to the Fenton again.
"We could ask Danny," Sonata said.
"No, I need time to think this over. Go to your music class." Adagio said, walking away.
Later,
Danny could hardly believe what he heard. He knew Dash was a big-time jerk, but he didn't think he'll go that far! He stood out of the school as he waited for his friends.
"Danny!"
He turns and saw Sonata running up to him.
"Sonata? Are you okay?" He said once the girl got to him.
"Yeah, I'm fine." She said.
"Are you sure? Dash didn't hurt you, did he?" Danny asked.
"Oh! I'm fine, really. That creep learned his lesson." Sonata said.
Danny sighs. He knew Dash and Dash wouldn't stop.
"Danny?" Sonata asked, making him look up.
"Sorry, but this won't stop him. Dash won't stop until he gets what he wants." He said.
Sonata sighs before taking a breath. So far, Sam and Tucker weren't around, and it seems like a good time to try.
"Um, Danny? I know we have only known each for a few days, but I was wondering if..." She started.
"Danny!"
They both turn as Sonata sighs. Sam and Tucker came up to them, with Sam rising an eyebrow at Sonata.
"Just a second guys, Sonata was about to ask me something." He said.
Remembering Valerie's warning, Sonata just sighs.
"I'll ask you later." She said, sadly.
Danny looks at her confused before he turned to his friends.
"So, you ready to hit the Nasty Burger?" Tucker asked.
"Yeah, it's been clear so far. But knowing my luck, it's not going to last," Danny said.
"You boys go on ahead. I'll catch up." Sam said, confusing both of them.
"Um, sure, Sam," Danny said, looking at Sonata.
Danny didn't like seeing her sad. Maybe he should try to make it up to her. With that, both boys left. Sam then faces Sonata, crossing her arms.
"Alright, listen here." She said, making Sonata look at her.
"I'm aware of what just happened to you, so I'm going to say this nicely. Leave Danny alone." She said.
"What?" Sonata asked, surprised.
"You heard me," Sam said.
Sonata blinks before remembering what Valerie told her.
"You are jealous." She said.
"I'm NOT jealous!" Sam shouted.
"Then why did you give Valerie permission to date Danny when she ask?" Sonata asked her.
Sam's right eye twitch. Sonata sighs and remembers something else Valerie told her.
"Danny is a free boy. He's allowed to pick any girl he wants." She said, causing Sam to growl.
"I'm going to be honest here, Sam. I'm still confused about why I feel like this around him, but I do know I like Danny. I like his blue eyes. They remind me of the ocean. His raven black hair has a nice smell to it. Creepy, I know. I couldn't help but notice it when he put himself in front of that Ghost Gator in the sewer." Sonata said.
Sam grins her teeth as she tries not to attack Sonata.
"I don't know why, but there's something about him that makes my heart flutter when I'm near him. Am I in..." Sonata said before Sam grabs her.
"DON'T YOU DARE!" She shouted, surprising Sonata.
"If you finish that thought then Dash will be the least of your problems." She said.
"So, you do like him?" Sonata asked.
"Danny is my friend! And I'm not going to let someone like you take him from me!" Sam said.
"You have five seconds to unhand her before I become a problem for you!"
Sam and Sonata turn to see Aria behind them, clearly trying to hold back her anger.
"Aria?" Sonata asked, wondering where her sister came from.
Aria marches up to Sam and looks her in her eyes. Sam sighs and lets go of Sonata.
"Listen, Sam, I like you. But if you're going to treat my sister like that, then we have a problem." Aria said.
Sam sighs. She then turns to Sonata before walking away.
Sonata blinks before turning to her sister.
"Listen, Sonata, I don't know why you like the boy, and I don't care, but if you do ask him, try doing it away from everyone," Aria said.
Sonata nods. It was clear that Sam likes Danny, and Valerie was right. Maybe she needs a bit more time. Still, was she in love with Danny?
And stopping here. Kind of ran out of things to write. Sonata is starting to realize that she is in love with Danny, while Danny has no clue. So, Dash ended up getting into trouble that not even his A-Listers rules could get him out of. Aria looks like someone who might not care about things, but I doubt even she would ignore something that would happen to the other two. However, it seems Sonata has another problem, Sam. If you guys/girls know Sam, she going to try and stop Sonata from trying to ask Danny out.
And in case anyone has forgotten, I don't hate Sam. I'm just tired of Danny/Sam Pairing being everywhere.
