Sonata sat at her house, thinking over what happened after school. She tried to follow Valerie's advice, but Sam was trying to stop her. She was warned that Sam got jealous even time a girl got close to Danny and from what Valerie told her, Sam was happy they broke up. Sonata could hardly believe that. What kind of friend is pleased that a relationship does work out? That sounds messed up. Sonata sighs and lays on her bed thinking about the black-haired boy.

"I don't understand why everyone thinks Danny's a weird guy? I mean, he's funny, smart, cute..." Sonata said, blushing.

Sonata sighs and started to think a bit more. She remembers the first time she saw him. He was just sitting at his desk watching as Aria pushed her to their seats. The minute she lay eyes on him. She couldn't explain it. There was something about him that made her heart, her real heart, miss a beat. As if there was something about him that made her relate to him. But why was that? Why did she feel that? As far as she knew, Danny was human and she...wasn't.

"Oh my, Celestia! He doesn't know the truth about me!" Sonata said once that caught up with her.

She had a strong feeling if she does get together with Danny, she'll have to tell the truth about herself. But how would he take it? Would he see her as a monster? Sonata doesn't know if she could deal with that. But should she keep it to herself or tell Danny as soon as possible? She wasn't sure what to do. Sonata sighs and got off her bed. She walks over to a mirror and looks over her human face. She can't deny that she looked pretty. It took her a while to get used to her new face. However, Sonata was unsure if she'll ever see her real face again. She pulled away and started to think again.

'I've only known him for a few days, and I want to ask him out on a date. I really like Danny, but I might be rushing myself. Maybe I should get to know him a bit more. Maybe I should ask him if he wants to hang out?' She thought.

Suddenly, Sonata's room started to shake, and she grab her desk to keep herself from falling over. Once the shaking stopped, Sonata sighs.

"Must be another ghost attack." She said.

After living in this town for a week, Sonata, Aria, and Adagio got used to the attacks pretty fast. They did live in a land full of magical creatures, so ghosts weren't too off-putting for them. Still, Sonata could help but wonder why they kept attacking. Then again, who was she to talk? She and her sister and cousin did attack land ponies from time to time as well. Every time they were driven off, they return to start again. She was starting to see why some ponies saw her as a monster, a villain. But that doesn't mean she doesn't have a heart.

She sighs again before walking towards the window. She found no sign of the ghost attack, but she wasn't looking for that. She was thinking about Danny again and what she should do with him.

Meanwhile,

Danny panted as he caught the new ghost that was causing trouble. It was pretty powerful, and Danny was sure he had a few brushed ribs.

"Finally. These ghosts are starting to become stronger. If this keeps up, I might have to ask my parents to help. If they don't shoot me first." He said.

Danny knew the repairs were going to take some time, and he would try to help. If Vlad didn't blame him for every attack. So far, only the teens of the town trust him as a hero, except for one, while most of the adults didn't trust him at all. Sure, he won a few of their trust, but it wasn't enough to get the whole town to see Vlad was wrong.

"Hmm, now that I think about it, I wonder why Vlad hasn't tried anything with Sonata and her family?" He asked out loud.

Danny knew Vlad. After fighting each other for almost a year, Danny knew Vlad had a plan up his sleeve at all times. True, he doesn't know all of them, but he won't let Vlad near Sonata and her family.

Sonata...

He keeps mentioning that name. Why? Sure, she was a really nice girl, and she was funny once she warmed up. However, she keeps blushing around him. Why? Sure, she was pretty, but Danny knew better after learning the truth about Paulina. Just because Paulina was pretty, doesn't mean she was nice.

"Sonata isn't like Paulina," Danny said to himself.

He knew the saying that all nice girls were pretty, but not all pretty girls are nice. But Sonata was a rare case that she was both pretty and nice. Sure, she had odd hair color, but it fit her well. He did like how she kept it in a ponytail. He also wonders what it would look like if she had it down?

"Whoa there, Fenton!" He said once he knew what he was thinking.

Danny sighs and started to fly over the town looking out for any more ghosts. His mind kept turning back to Sonata, however. Besides her hair, Danny took notice of her eyes. He had a bit of a hard time figuring out the color. At first, he thought there were red or some kind of pink. It gave an otherworldly feeling for some reason. But she clearly acts and talks much like a human being. Maybe she was one of those people that have rare colors?

Danny felt his phone buzzing in his pocket and grab it. He saw Sam's number and raise an eyebrow. Why was Sam calling him? Nonetheless, he answered the phone.

"Hey, Sam. What's up?" Danny asked.

"Can we talk? Now?" She said, making him sigh.

'Great. She's in that mood again. Better see what's up.' Danny thought before answering.

"Where?"

"Your place. OPS Center." Sma said.

Confused, Danny agreed to it. Sam has been acting differently since she caught up to him and Tucker. He only hope it wasn't serious.

Later,

Danny enters the OPS Center, knowing his parents were going to be gone for a few hours. He spotted Sam, but not Tucker.

"Where's Tucker?" He asked.

"I didn't ask him to come, I want this to be between you and me," Sam said, confusing Danny more.

"Okay?" Danny said, sitting down.

"What is this about?" He asked.

Sam sighs.

"Danny, I looked up the Dazzlings, and I couldn't find anything about them." She said.

"What do you mean?" Danny asked.

"I mean, there's nothing about them. No family, no birth certificates, nothing! It's like they never existed!" Sma told him.

That surprised Danny. There was nothing about Sonata and her family?

"How is that possible?" Danny asked.

"I really don't know. As much as I hate to say it, I don't think we should trust them." Sam said.

Danny blinks in surprise.

"Whoa, Sam! That's going a little too far." Danny said.

"Danny!" Sam said, angry.

"Sam, we have only known them for a few days. Yeah, finding nothing about them is a surprise, but they clearly don't mean any harm. I did see how you and Aria get along." He said.

Sam thought about that. It was true. Aria was different than the other two. She had her own interests and did seem to connect with her. She shook her head.

"Maybe, but I don't like it," Sam said.

Danny sighs and thinks about it. It was clear that Dazzlings were hiding something, but Danny knew that feeling. He was keeping his powers hidden from everyone except those he trust, like his friends and his sister.

"Look, Sam. I understand that they're new and their past is mysterious, but if we act oddly around them, they'll start to question us. If they knew you went digging into their past, it could end up being a lot worst than your think." Danny pointed out.

"What was that?!" Sam growled.

Danny flinch a bit but kept calm.

"Sam, you were the one that went searching for info about them. That's going to be all on you. Out of the three, I think you should be careful around Adagio the most." Danny said.

"And why is that?" Sam asked.

"Come on, Sam. You've seen she acts! She's the leader of the Dazzlings. She use to get her things her way. If we push her the wrong way, then how are we going to show her life is not the way she thinks it is." Danny said.

Sam thought about it and could see his point. Aria and Sonata were clearly the lackeys of the group, but they had their own minds and were their own people.

"Fine." She said.

Danny nods and stood up.

"I'm going to take a walk." He said.

Sam watched him leave before sighing. She didn't like it, but Danny was right. Now she had to think how she was going to stop Sonata.

Alright, sorry to make this short, but I was having a hard time what to write for this chapter for the past couple of days. I end up covering both Sonata's and Danny's thoughts about each other, though I couldn't get everything. And Sam has tried to find something about the Dazzlings, but couldn't find a thing. She told Danny and Danny can kind of relate to keeping things a secret. Of course, they will learn the truth later. Tucker will be informed later. And yes, the Dazzlings will meet Danny's Ghost Form at some point in the story. And Dragonrule gave me an idea in the PMs that I'm thinking over. I also wanted to cover Sonata's and Aria's Music classes at some point as well. They will get their singing voice back without the Artifact. And no, it's not going to be Ember's guitar. I'm still thinking it over.

And it appears some of you misunderstood what Aria meant when she said she likes Sam. She meant she liked Sam for who she was and sees her as a friend. But, I will keep the ideas you all made about Sam and Aria being together in mind.
