Lilith knew she was different. From the very moment she was born, she knew there was something different about her. But she was only a baby and didn't know much about herself and the world. Now, after four years, she understood. She's the daughter of the Greatest Demon in the world and the Greatest Ghost Hero of the world. She was mixed with both Demon and Ghost Powers and was more powerful than her parents. But she was also something else. She was a hybrid of a demon, angel, ghost, and human. She was what her father's friends and enemies call a Halfa.
But to other Demons, she was a Halfling. Of course, she wasn't the only one, but many demons treated her like she was a plague. The only reason why none of the demons try anything to her is because she's the daughter of Lucifer, the Queen of Hell. Anyone that tries to harm her will face her mother's fury and wrath. But that didn't mean Demons had other ways of her hurting her.
"Great, the Halfling."
"Seriously, what was the Queen thinking?"
"She mated with a human and she won't like others do the same?"
"I can't believe we bow to a Halfling in the future."
Those were just some of the words she heard. Lilith was happy for who she was, but the way the demons talked about her, and only being four years old, it was slowly started to affect her. But today, something was different. Her father was planning on visiting some ghost friends of his, and he was going to take her along. Sadly, her mother had to stay behind. Lucifer wanted to set some rules down for her people and she strongly believes that it could get bloody. So Danny decides to take her to see someone that he sees as a close friend.
"So, who are we seeing, daddy?" Lilith asked her father.
"Someone that helped with my ice powers. I told him all about you and he could help you get a better idea for your powers." Danny told her.
"I wish Mommy could come," Lilith said, sadly.
"Well, she had things to do. Plus, she's not as welcome in the Ghost Zone." Danny said.
Lucifer has gone into the Ghost Zone a few times, and lots of the Ghosts were very nervous with her there. The only ones that didn't mind her were Clockwork, Frostbite, and Pandora. Lilith doesn't have much of an effect on the ghosts, but some were still unsure about being near her. He puts on Lilith's coat before placing her on his back.
"Ready?" He asked.
"Yeah! I want to see some snow!" Lilith cheers.
Danny smirks and turns into his ghost form. His suit was starting to look like his evil future self, but Danny already promise he'll never become him. He looks behind to see that Lilith had also transformed. Her ghost form was mostly a shirt and shorts. But he had a feeling it would change when she got older. He taught all of his daughters how to turn into their ghost forms, telling them to only use them if they need to.
With a nod, Danny use the secret path to return to Earth and headed for his parent's place. His parents were on a little trip, but they locked the house down. Not too much of a problem for Danny and Lilith. Of course, Danny did make sure to leave a note when he did appear. He then flew down into the lab and opens the portal.
It didn't take him long to reach Far Frozen, due to the fact he had Lilith with him. He lands on the snow and turns back into his human form with Lilith following the suit. He sets Lilith down, who started to dive into the snow.
"Look, Daddy! My hair is snow!" Lilith said, making Danny laugh.
His laughter caught a few of the residents along with their leader.
"Ah! Great One! Welcome back." Frostbite said, making Danny groan.
"Frostbite, will you please stop calling me that?" Danny sighs, but smiles.
Frostbite could only laugh before noticing Lilith playing in the snow.
"I see you brought your daughter. Even as a young demon, she filled with joy and happiness." He said.
Danny's smile faded a little. Both he and Lucifer had noticed how some other demons treated Lilith. While they couldn't harm her physically, they were trying to harm her mentally. Just like when he started, lots of Demons were treating Lilith like she was some kind of plague. Trying to make her feel bad about what she is. Danny has talked to her, but Lilith kept saying she was fine. But Danny knew better, it was one of the reasons why he was here.
"Great One? Are you okay?" Frostbite asked, snapping him from his thought.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Actually, Frostbite, I have a request." Danny said.
"And what will that be?" Frostbite asked, surprised.
"Lilith's powers are growing stronger each day, and I fear what might happen if she doesn't get in control of them. I plan on teaching her, but I thought it might be better if someone with far more experience could at least help her." He said.
Frostbite was surprised. Danny was asking him to help train his daughter to control her powers. While she didn't have an ice core, thanks to her demon half, Frostbite could sense that her two powers weren't in harmony with each other.
"Very well, I will do my best." Frostbite said.
Lilith stood in front of an area, the same area that Frostbite once taught her father how to control his ice powers. Lilith knew she didn't have ice power,s but she was wondering why she was here.
"Now, Young Lilith, I understand you're confused, but your father has informed me that your powers are growing faster than normal." Frostbite said.
Lilith looks down. She knew both her parents were worried about her powers. She might be four years old, but she was smarter than she looks.
"I...I'm afraid." Lilith said, rubbing her arm.
Frostbite raised an eyebrow and waited for her to continue.
"I know I'm stronger than mommy and daddy. Auntie Beel told me. Daddy even told me about that evil ghost that lost everything he had and brought his wrath on the planet and the Ghost Zone. I'm scared I'll become him." Lilith said.
Frostbite nodded. He understood why someone so young would be afraid of becoming a dangerous being. But he knew there was something else.
"It's more than that, isn't it?" He asked.
Lilith looks down, trying hard to cry.
"Back in Hell, most demons avoid me. They treat me like I'm some kind of freak. I have my half-sisters, which is why I'm not too upset about it, but their words are getting to me." Lilith said as the tears started forming.
"They keep calling me a Halfling. Unlike the word that every ghost use for my daddy, it's more of an insult than anything. Others are dismissing the fact that I'll one day take over for mommy and would refuse to bow to me." She added, wiping her eyes.
Frostbite listen to what she said and knew that Danny was also close by, hearing every word she said. Frostbite knees down and place a hand on Lilith's shoulder.
"Young one, it's true that demons can bring out the worst of people, but what I see before me is a young girl that trying to fit in with her demon half. But you are more than a demon. You carry human and ghost DNA as well. They know it, they want you to feel bad about yourself. Much like how a lot of people tried to make your father feel bad about what he was. But he never let it get to him. Yes, you're starting off much younger than he has, but I know you're stronger than you think." Frostbite said.
"In fact, lots of ghosts using the word Halfa as an insult as well. But your father turned around and made it into something else. What I'm trying to say, is that, no matter what you do, the demons will keep acting the way they do. But they will never fully understand that you are your own person. Lots of my people are very wary of you because of your demonic powers, but at the same time, we know that you're still young and don't fully understand what you are. Let me give you a piece of advice. Never let others get you down. Stand tall and stand proud." Frostbite said.
"Stand tall and stand proud," Lilith repeated.
"Now say it again. Only a bit louder." Frostbite said.
"Stand tall and Stand proud!" Lilith said.
"Say it like you mean it." Frostbite told her.
"Stand Tall and Stand Proud!' Lilith yells.
Frostbite smiles. Now she was started to look like her father.
"Excellent!" He laughs.
Lilith had to admit. Those words had a lot of power in them. She thought about the stories of her father using his powers to keep everyone safe and she wanted to do that. When she gets home, she's going to tell her parents about what the other demons have been doing.
"Now, I'm sure your father taught you the basics of ghost powers?" Frostbite asked.
"Flight, Invisibility, Intangibility, and Ghost Rays," Lilith said.
"Good. Now, if you wish to learn more about the stronger versions of your powers, we must make sure you master the four powers you know." Frostbite said before smiling.
"And let me give another piece of advice. It's the same one I gave your father." He said, kneeling down to her.
"You control the power, the power doesn't control you."
Lilith blinks, but she could hear the wisdom in his words. Maybe that way her father brought her here. Not far from them, Danny sat in the stands. Far away enough to give Frostbite and Lilith room, but also close enough to hear them talking. To think that other Demons were mistreating his daughter because of what she was. He also knew that Lucifer would go on a rampage when she hears about this, but he knew how to calm her down. Still, Lilith was his pride and joy. Even if he never knew that Lucifer was pregnant until they fuse. Maybe it was time for hell to understand why he married Lucifer. Though, they both didn't understand why they got married in the first place.
And here you go. I decide to cover a little about Lilith this time. She's still young and still learning a lot about her powers and understanding the way of the world. Danny brought her to Frostbite not only to help train her but also help her talk about how hell has been treating her. Both Danny and Lucifer know that other demons are mistreating Lilith, but they want her to come forward first. They just didn't know how bad they were. I think I'll cover more about Lucifer in the next chapter. Maybe tell her thoughts on the whole marriage thing she's still getting used to.
